My husband is an evangelist, and we travel to the area for almost a week visiting friends that are Missionaries. This Inn was more pleasant to stay yet than a Hilton or Hampton.. friendly staff that goes above and beyond, the room was clean. The property was clean. The pool area with a view of the lake was charming.. if I had to say one thing negative about this day, it would be that the pool was not heated or that they didn’t offer a Jacuzzi for cooler temperatures. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about. And it was very convenient that IHOP was right next-door. Thank you budget Inn staff for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

At check in, we were asked what floor we'd like to be on, which was granted. We were able to park by our room. It's an old hotel with thin discolored towels and had areas that didn't look clean. There was an unpleasant odor in the room. We were only staying the night before our morning flight, so I didn't complain. It's very close to the airport. I would not return.

The staff excellent!

The room shameful in regards to lack of towels and there was a loud buzzing noise all night long coming from the bathroom and too late in the night to report so I didn’t sleep and reported in the morning. They refused to comp my room. I will never stay again.

The pool was old and in dire need of repair but the water was clean. Hardly any chai’s and no umbrellas.

The scene is beautiful because the motel is on a lake. The dock was closed however so no where to sit to relax and gaze out. No chairs or park bench.

The donor have a shuttle to the airport and the taxi and uber service is available but expensive.

Overwhelming cigarette smell and burn marks from butts on table and counters. Previous stay there was very good. The were having water issues with sub freezing temperatures and they were limited on rooms and staff apologized when I checked in so I knew there was not a replacement room available for me.

Rooms had clean looking sheets and blankets. Furniture was worn and old. Tub and shower were old and a bit dingy looking. Overall, for the price and 1-2 night stay, I would do again.

Hotel is very dated - even new paint and a different color didn't help. Room 'felt' old. NO CLOCK? What kind of room has no clock. Very dim lighting in the room - even with a bright fluorescent bulb in the dressing area. I had to shine my smartphone flashlight to see how to use the coffee maker and the microwave. Formica ripped and missing from the dresser. Overall - a less than satisfactory room. even for $75 a night. Staff was nice. A+ for them.

The air conditioner in the room sounded like it was ready to blow up. I’ve never heard one so loud that still functioned. The only other room available had only a double bed. Then, with almost every room sold, the pool was shut down and locked around 7pm on a Saturday night

The room, staff, and amenities were just fine. The staff was very friendly and effective. However, my neighbor “Uncle Mike” had quite a lot of traffic to his room. And when I say traffic, I mean in the drug sense. If I were to guess I would say meth one of uncle Mike’s customers came knocking at my door at 3 o’clock in the morning, and when you realized he had the wrong room, he mumbled some swear words and went to uncle Mike’s room next-door. They have long-term residence at this hotel, which I was unaware of, and as I’ve stated they’re involved in some less than savory activities. Also, there was a woman in a wheelchair in uncle Mike’s room who is neglected and spent most of one night screaming and crying. I don’t think there was anyone in the room with her. This is not a family, friendly lodging, and I will not be staying there again and I will also be posting a strongly-worded google review.

Overall, I had no real issues with my 2-night stay at Budget Inn; the biggest thing that came up was that the in-unit AC/Heater started to smell a bit \"burnt\" after I initially turned on the heat but that didn’t last too long. The room was clean, offered all the amenities you'd expect, and both check-in and check-out ran about as smoothly as they could. For the price offered, I thought Budget Inn offered an outstanding stay, as I've stayed at significantly more expensive places that weren’t as well tended to.
