Clean room, parking extra or park on the street. You can hear a lot of noises while in the room. Plane, alarm from cars on the road… quite down at night.

Front desk could not find my reservation and there was a long wait. Also, at checkout there was only one young man working valet. There was a large group of people waiting so we all walked with valet to get our own cars.

We stayed at Hotel De Anza last weekend and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience during our second night.

At approximately 2:00 AM, the hotel shut off the water due to pipe problems. From that point until checkout the next morning, there was no running water in our room. We were unable to shower that night or in the morning before leaving. The only solution provided was bottled drinking water for basic washing, which is not acceptable for a hotel stay at this level.

Throughout the night, staff repeatedly turned the water on and off to test the pipes. Each time this happened, the toilet in our room made loud noises that repeatedly woke us up. Our sleep was significantly disrupted, and the experience was extremely uncomfortable.

We were told over the phone to speak with staff at checkout regarding compensation for the inconvenience. However, the person who instructed us to do so was not present the next morning. The front desk staff informed us that only the manager could make that decision, and no resolution was offered at checkout.

This situation seriously impacted our trip. We had to drive six hours back home to Los Angeles with very little sleep. Driving that distance while exhausted is not only uncomfortable but potentially dangerous.

Given the complete loss of water service during the night, the repeated disruptions, and the lack of resolution at checkout, we believe a full refund for the second night is reasonable and fair. We respectfully request reimb

Early check in which is only at 12pm no eariler, will run you $100. Wifi kept disconnecting every 30-45 mins requireing you to reconnect and agree to policies over and over on multiple devices. final night of our stay the plumbing went out, meaning no running water in the bathrooms so we didn't get a chance to shower or use toilets before our checkout. (still waiting to hear back from the manager on how we will be compensated for that). Other than that only compliment I have is the room and bathroom were very spacious. on that note sad to say but I will not be booking here again.

This property is advertised as a 4-star boutique hotel, but the reality was a complete bait-and-switch that failed to meet even basic hospitality standards. The room was tiny and entirely lacked the promised luxury amenities—no espresso machine, no robes, and no snacks. Instead, I found a disgusting, half-empty bottle of used lotion. The linens and towels were remarkably low-quality, feeling more like sandpaper than premium bedding.
The 'boutique' experience was further undermined by the complete closure of the bar and restaurant with no alternative service offered. To make matters worse, the paper-thin walls and windows provided zero insulation from the deafening street noise (lowriders and engines) that lasted until 1 AM every night. Management is clearly aware of this systemic issue, as they leave disposable earplugs by the bed. Yet, they remained completely unreachable, ignored my messages, and refused to authorize a refund or relocation. This stay was an absolute dump and a total misrepresentation of a 4-star experience.

The pictures of lounges and fireplaces and beautiful things shown for the hotel were very misleading. Those amenities were closed. The shower was over a lip on the floor and elevated above the floor, and if you didn't trip going into the thing, there were no hand holds inside. Very slippery and dangerous for a senior citizen. On top of that, there was mandatory valet service that added an unexpected $50 onto the price of the room.

$50 valet fee for my car to sit in the same spot I parked it in. Nonsmoking room smelled like 50 years of cigarettes. Television remote didn't work. Shower was either scalding hot or ice cold and the shower door didn't stay closed. General untidiness throughout the entire building from the moment you walk in. First and last stay here for us.

Cute retro hotel, walking distance to San Pedro Square with every Restaurant you want and bars. Jr suites are a perfect stay with meters in front or you will pay a lot for Valet. Nice staff who made our stay amazing so we stayed another night and went to Christmas in the park. No bar but they said March it’s reopening. Plenty of places to go near by!!

Great hotel with friendly staff. However, the entire place is old, outdated, and a little dirty. The carpet in my room had a huge stain on it. I had a king bed and but it came with 4 tiny pillows which was weird. The buttons for the elevator are broken and worn out. The place needs a little TLC. But the location is great!

My wife and I stayed one night for a San Jose State football game. The hotel is conveniently located. It has been remodeled, but still a bit dated. The windows don’t close well so when loud cars are driving by on a Saturday night, you can hear them. Other than that, everything was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
