I am a canadian and it was my firts time in tokyo and i am so used to have a big room so when i saw the room i was so surprised because the room was so small no place for the suitcase but i must saw the room was very clean and they provide everything you need in the bathroom toothbrush toothpaste soap shampoo everything i was very surprised even pyjamas so yes over all i will absolutely recommend this place and also its walking distance from the attractions very nice place food was awsome too.

Everything at this hotel was perfect.
Staff spoke English and were very kind and helpful.
Our twin room was warm and cosy with good wifi ,a fridge,kettle,and extras should we need them.Our room was cleaned every day and was spotless.
Breakfast was wonderful...a large variety of hot and cold items that apoealed to everybodys taste and was buffet styleso you could have as much as you wanted.
We had the loveliest 8 night stay here and I will recommend it to everybody.
Walk to JR station took only 10 mins snd limobus stop only about 12 mins away....

This was the perfect hotel if you are a 1st time traveler to Tokyo! Right next to the subway station that can take you everywhere. The hotel room was clean, modern, and easy access. The rates were affordable. It was perfect for myself and 3 other adults.

Our room sleeps 4 and was really cramped. It’s not possible to fully open 2 big suitcases; a reasonable amount of baggage for a family of 4. Layout of the room did not really make sense as the toilet is huge but living area is cramped. The toilet auto flushes or cleans every few minutes, which is a waste of water
Additionally, the heater in the room did not seem to work. Towels were old and thin. For the price of the accommodation, more is expected. It gets quite noisy as sirens can be heard in the middle of the night.

Rooms at the front of the building have a great view down the street but are extremely noisy due to poor seals on the opening window. Probably no quieter than if you left the window open. So we switched to the rear of the building which is fairly quiet until the construction crew starts making noise at 4:45 in the morning. We did see a notice in the room that states construction starts at 9am but I guess that means nothing.
Rooms are also very small so the bed sticks out into the walkway at the foot. So if there are two people in the room, one has to step into the entry area or get on the bed for the other to pass.
Front desk staff were polite and pleasant with no personality.

The hotel was walking distance from the JR lines and local lines.
Very busy area and quite a distance from airports.
Could not check in until 1pm - rooms not ready earlier.
Renovations were taking place and we did not have use of the washing machines.
Fresh towels and water left at the door when the Do not Disturb sign showing.
They supplied toothbrushes and face cleaning products.

Right across from a major hospital. Sirens and ambulances and announcements blaring from megaphones all night.

The pictures make the room seem bigger than they actually are. I originally booked the twin room non-smoking. The room was a closet that smelled of smoke. No room to put luggage anywhere. Unlivable. We had to pay to upgrade as I have claustrophobia and my sister has asthma. New room was a good size for 2 people, but it was the room for 4 people (murphy bed can be removed to make room).

I pointed out mold spots in the bathroom. Staff acknowledged the issue, but they were not fixed. Some dust found. Other than that, clean.

The TV in the room is not a smart TV, its cable with 11 channels.

The breakfast was decent and the hotel is close to nishi-shinjuku entrance, conbini, and a few restaurants.

The location of this hotel is very good. It is very close to the subway stations and shopping centers. The front desk staffs are very friendly. The breakfast buffet is also very good. The room is clean, though the size is small compared to those in the U.S. It seems that that is the case for all other hotels in Tokyo as well, so probably cannot complain much.

It's about 10min from the Tokyo train station and there's a station a couple of blocks from the hotel making it easy to get around the city. There's a 711 nearby for snacks and all kinds of beverages. The city is worth visiting as it has a lot to offer.

We stayed 3 nights. Family of 4. Room was small for 4 ppl but we expected that. Space was clean, modern (with USB outlets) and had extra supplies to make our stay comfortable like slippers, toothbrushes, etc. Staff were friendly and responded timely to pre-arrival questions. There is an inexpensive Airport Bus transportation that drops and picks up very close to hotel. Location was very good with 2 metro stations within walking distance. Shinjuku entertainment district was very close and easy to walk to. Only negative was they only had 2 washing machines for the entire hotel so plan to wait to wash and dry clothes.

Hallways looked a bit dated. Found trash from previous guests on floor under the nightstand that was never cleaned , even after we arrived.

This hotel is near the Nish-shinjuku Station. It’s easy for my family to take the public transit to our destinations oaround Tokyo. The front desk staff are friendly and answered my questions.

However, they need to update the coin laundry machines. There were a total of 3 machines - 1 washer, 1 dryer, and 1 combo washer & dryer. There was always people waiting to do their laundry, which made it inconvenient for many of us.

We knew the rooms would be small, but there is far to much furniture in the room and we literally kept tripping over objects as we tried to manoeuvre around each other. Thick tracks of dust by sides of bed ( it ciuld be rolled) and a pubic hair in bathroom...not ours! Too small to be sold a triple rooms. It was actually dangerous

We stayed in the supreme bedroom with 4 twin beds. The room space could have been larger to allow space to walk between the beds.

The hotel room is very very small but all hotel rooms in Japan are small for the price. This hotel was fine the location was amazing for Shinjuku very easy to navigate the subway system from this hotel. However we purchased th le breakfast and this was probably the worst breakfast that I have ever had at a hotel. Sorry but not sorry the options were very limited, old bread and canned fruit. If anything stay at the hotel but skip the breakfast and go to the family mart located next door.

This is our third hotel while in Japan. We were warmly welcomed with a smile. One staff member served my family their welcome juice while I was checking in. She then helped us with our luggage to the elevator. The lobby is simply tidy and elegant. The room is clean and fresh. The shower and restroom are modern and spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. They offer a breakfast buffet for a small fee in the garden, which is simply gorgeous! The food selection is good enough to start your day. It’s also a plus that the local metro station is just a minute's walk right outside. A Family Mart, pharmacy, and 7-Eleven are also nearby. It's a 15-minute walk to the Shinjuku shopping area and station. Overall, we enjoyed our three-night stay and highly recommend this hotel. I hope they continue to maintain their high standards. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!

Pros: hotel is close to subway lines, daily breakfast (extra charge but small charge), clean, daily towels, pajamas and water left at door even if you choose not to have the staff clean) Ask for an upgrade when you arrive - it was only an additional $105 USD for 5 nights (they must do this a lot as they had photos of the rooms available for upgrade) This room was significantly bigger. The staff is helpful. No concerns with the staff - as expected.
Cons: rooms are small - think European size rooms, the rooms have this feeling. The rooms have carpet in the main building that is old. I ended up with a terrible allergy exacerbation after the first 2 nights worsening when I was in the room requiring treatment. We stayed the full 5 nights since moving hotels was not an option for us. I would suspect that there is mold throughout this older building, not certain if the annex building has this problem. Be aware if you have any allergies especially to mold. The hotel would be improved if they would remove carpets and put down a hard surface floor, repaint and a thorough HVAC cleaning. The hotel is good, but would suggest staying nearing Tokyo station to be more centrally located. Tokyo is huge. We spent 25-50mins on trains moving around the city from this hotel most days. This is not really a problem for this hotel, but something to consider when deciding on a hotel.

Hotel was located in a business district. Felt safe & was quiet, no night noise. But the room we for 3 people was not as shown on the website. It was tight and Japanese style, beds were very close to the floor, & in a row little room between beds. The Japanese restaurant next to the Hotel was costly and little english. We didn't try the italian Restaurant on the premises.

It's a little pricey for what you get.

It's an ok place for a night or two. It's close to the train station and an easy walk to restaurants and shops. I think the whole place needs a bit of a makeover, lots of dust under the beds. Other than that, it's relatively comfortable. It doesn't have a view at all. You're just looking at another building but like I said for a night or two it's definitely doable. The breakfast is OK. And the staff, of course is lovely.

Rose Garden Shinjuku was an interesting Hotel. It is split into two with an alleyway dividing it, stayed as a group made that a bit awkward. Hotel itself felt dated, like an early 2000 Motel, but cleanish. Staff was nice and tried to accommodate the best they could. Rooms were on the small size with nothing plugged in. Laundry Room was location in main hotel only, unfortunately we were in the other part of the hotel. Only had two machines, so forget washing clothes if you are late. Location, itself, was the best part. Subway like was feet away, with ample convenient stores, pharmacy, coffee shops, laundromats and restaurants close by. center of Shinjuku was about less than 10 minutes walk.
