Shower door didn't close properly and this led to a flood every time we took a shower - meaning we had to use the mat & additional towels to keep from slipping all over the place. When we arrived, no body wash & conditioner in the shower, though these items were added the 2nd day. We didn't care about that, as we'd brought our own.
There were NO DRAWERS in the room to put anything into, so we used the hangers for what we could & lived out of our suitcases for the rest. No microwave nor refrigerator, either. For the life of me, I cannot imagine why the beds in any hotel are SO VERY HIGH that we have to jump to get onto the bed! Definitely a centralized location, which was fairly convenient. Overall, I'd say 3.5 stars out of five.

The room was a good size given the location. It did have somewhat of a smell upon entering, but the view was great. The only issue is the shower door didn’t seal properly and the water was leaking into the floor. The location is perfect for Times Square, Broadway, and getting to other close attractions. I would stay again.

I was surprisingly impressed by this property. As is the norm for NYC the room was small but our cleaning person was fantastic! She came every day and made the room so nice and clean and tidy for us which made the smaller space super manageable. We had a nice skyline view which makes a big difference. The lighting in the bathrooms - not great. Location good can't complain. I had several important packages delivered to the front desk and they handled them with care! All in all, for the price, it was much better than I expected. I think we paid around 250/night which is quite low for NYC.

The hotel met our primary objective to be close to our daughter’s new apartment so we could assist with her move in. Our room was smaller than described which only had a desk chair to sit on. We stayed seven nights and were rudely awaken three times in the middle of the night. Twice by the fire alarm the first two nights and then by the hotel intercom announcement at 2:30 am that a fire alarm has gone off but there was no fire then again at 3:30am to tell us it wasn’t a fire alarm but a faulty carbon monoxide alarm. Otherwise the hotel would have been great 👍

I really enjoyed my two-night stay here. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, especially Cyril. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I will be coming back as well. The room was clean but I had some issues the cleanliness of the sheets. However, when I asked for new sheets, they ensured I received them. 10/10

The staff were a alil helpful but the property itself was not what i was expecting . I hit the corner room expecting a lovley view but instead my bedroom and bathroom window was literally facing a construction site of another building with MEN working every day . Despite me going to front desk to ask for my room to be moved they “couldn’t “ staying full occupancy . Traveling along as a woman that situation (men working outside my window ) was very uncomfortable every night , so much that I hardly slept and left the property mentally exhausted

Room 806 was my room and anyone can see if they were to stay within there the room Is exactly what I’m describing

The shower smelt mouldy and would clog as well. I felt that I wasn’t clean even after showering. Not a great experience.

As soon we enter to the room, I saw a cloth moth in the door of the closet. So I didn’t want to hang my clothes in the closet, and we chose not to take our clothes from our suitcases just in case.
Otherwise everything was ok.
I hope was only one moth, we spent two night, I didn’t see any more.

Perfect location. Walked 5mins to get to Central Park, Times Square and minutes away from subway station. Getting here and to jfk airport was a breeze. Had an early flight and arrived around 10am, we’ll check in wasn’t until after 3pm. But Victor was able to get us free early check in by being members of Marriott. Absolutely loved this hotel will plan to return and this is exactly where we will be coming to. Thank you Marriott

We had a great time staying during our recent trip to New York. The location was very convenient for visiting the sights and attractions. The staff were very helpful with recommending restaurants. The hotel also offered a car ride service to the airport, which was extremely helpful since we left very early in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

The telephone was broken/not working, so when I needed something, I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk. The window latch was also broken, so when it got too hot (winter months where the whole building is heated) it was too warm to sleep. The room and the bathroom were clean. Didn't have lotion, called for it, but they never came.

Room was really tiny but nice. Elevators are fast. Staff was ok but not the best I've seen. The main lobby looks like a horror movie setting. Tons of street construction and they dont provide parking which runs around $60 a day. I dont think id choose this place unless its was a last resort.

Check in was friendly and quick--however, when we got to the room, I went to use the bathroom and saw what appeared to be pubic hairs on the toilet lid and seat and then around the sink . I felt the room was not as clean as it should be so I bought lysol wipes from a local store to sanitize the bathroom before using it for the duration of my stay for my piece of mind.

the bell hops were GREAT but front desk super unhelpful.

example: there are two different sets of elevators- they did not provide proper directions. you need your key inserted to have lights work - they did not tell us. we had an issue with lights and called SIX. times fir maintenance - they never responded

the last straw was elevators went out. they made an announcement but then never gave any updates

there are many hotels in manhattan- I will not return to this one

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience during my stay. The room was dirty upon arrival, which immediately made me uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the elevators were constantly broken or extremely slow, causing long waits and a lot of frustration throughout the stay.

The most disturbing part was a fire department warning announced by the director. A loud alert alarm rang continuously for nearly an hour with no clear explanation of what was happening. We were repeatedly told to remain in our rooms but were given no context, updates, or reassurance. This lack of communication left us emotionally distressed, anxious, and genuinely fearful about what might happen next.

Between the unclean room, non-functioning elevators, and the mishandling of a serious safety situation, this stay was unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you value cleanliness, safety, and clear communication during emergencies

Room was very clean, the view was great, the exercise equipment worked. In-room coffee and tea were good. Shower was nice and hot. But the heater didn't really keep the room warm, the bedside lights were non-working. Iron worked great, the board, not so much. Location was good, near subway, Gristedes and attractions. This hotel combined with Residence Inn which takes up all the top floors of the city's tallest hotel. The two share food and exercise facilities. I didn't take the breakfa$t.

The Hotel was nice the room was very clean including the bed liner, we stay at Floor 28 and the only thing I did no like that much was that the room was right in front of the elevator and a lot of noise can be heard from there, besides that I recommend, the location is perfect , very close to time square , nice staff.
