Este hotel estuvo muy agradable el que, sin duda, recomendaría. Las instalaciones son sobresalientes, todo está impecable y es estéticamente muy agradable, con un diseño que invita al descanso y la admiración. El desayuno merece una mención especial por su variedad y calidad. Sin embargo, la única gran desventaja es la conexión an internet, que es muy lenta y poco confiable para los q nos hospedamos en los cuartos al fin del edificio.

Let's start with positive impressions. The hotel has very nice foyer, friendly front desk and good location. Our room was spacious with many comfort points like the bed and armchairs. Convenient table and office chair, universal plug. Bedsheets were clean and pillows comfortable.
Now the negative ones. Awfully slow Wi-Fi that kept disconnecting. The toilet smelled urine. The seat was missing a screw and the other screw was barely holding it, with yellow stain (most probably dry urine). The sink water was evacuating very slowly, because the drain pipe was squished
In several spots. I reported the problems (except the smell thinking it was just an omission) to the front desk and was promised to have the problems fixed. When we came back in the evening nothing was done. The toilet seat or the floor were not washed.

There is nothing unique about the property.
It's in a good area, given where we needed to be.
Our room wasn’t overly large.
The bathroom was basic and could have used some fixing up (loose toilet seat, antiquated shower head, shower curtain rod which kept falling).
Would definitely NOT be rating this hotel at the 4 stars it gives itself!

The hotel's central location was excellent, providing easy access to all the attractions, although breakfast was not included.
A drawback was the thin walls, allowing us to hear our neighbors and the loud noise of doors closing. Fortunately, our room had a loud air conditioner.

We encountered a strong sewer smell from the bathroom, which was very inconvenient, but the staff was helpful and moved us to a different room.

The swing shift staff were friendly, and the night shift worker was welcoming. However, the day shift staff did not even greet us as we left.

Overall, it was a good stay, but there is room for improvement.

Reserved a room for 3 adults and 2 children, they would not honour our reservation saying the room would not accomodate the baby and that we would need to book an additional room. After arguing for 30 minutes, they finally let us have the room.

We didn’t feel this is a 4 star property…more a 2 star property. The good was front desk staff was helpful and friendly at check-in and check-out. The bad was having issues with the shower/tub not draining well, and dimly lit bathroom due to a light bulb out. The hallway doors are cheap hollow doors and make a lot of noise when opened and closed. Overall the rooms could use a renovation! Also, The restaurant was closed upon checkin and it was only 7:30pm. We did sleep pretty well since it was a long day, but it was not all that sound without my white noise machine on my phone. I would not recommend if you are expecting a 4 star property.

Our room had an internal view of the air conditioners, but we didn't spend much time in the hotel. The room was clean and well kept. Beds and pillows are firm, but comfortable. Bring earplugs, though, (which we always do) because the walls/doors aren't as insulated as US hotels.

They have a designated no-parking area in front of the hotel so that Uber rides were easy to get into and out of.

There were lots of restaurants/activities around the hotel and were easily within walking distance.

Enjoyed the breakfast, Hot scrambled eggs and ham, warm mini-french toast and waffles. Cold cuts and cheese, fruit salad, pastries, quiche, and a wide selection of juices. They also had hot milk at the coffee station and a bowl of chocolate powder to add to the milk or coffee.

The neighborhoods around the hotel looks rundown by US standards, with litter and graffiti, but that's not really specific to this hotel, it's pretty widespread in the downtown area. Reminded me of the more industrial areas of European cities and very much like San Francisco.

Enjoyed our time there and would return, especially for the price.

Location was perfect for walking to major points of interest. Front desk staff were excellent and helpful. I was surprised to have to pay for 2 bottles of water from the refrigerator - no mention that it was a chargeable consumable. All and all an excellent stay and highly recommend !

Almost all the staff ( the swing shift manager less so) were very friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure to interact with them. The breakfast was great, the overall atmosphere and appearance was great too. Great location. The room was comfortable and appeared clean.

I gave a low rating because I got bitten by bedbugs. When I asked for them to spray for mosquitoes ( what I first thought it was), they offered to change my room. That is great and proper. Then I saw a doctor who said the bites were either bedbugs or fleas. I asked to change the room then. They first tried to move me to a room that was a lower standard than what I had paid for. I requested to keep same type of room- which they did. I then asked that they wash and disinfect my clothes at no charge- which they did. Really they should have offered the wash, or offered to compensate me somehow- I know my husband who works in hospitality would have. The worst is that they lied to me and said they had checked my first room for bugs and found none. I continued to get bitten in the second room. The lie made me think I had an infection and not bedbugs. Upon my return home, I went straight to the hospital. It was bedbugs ( they ran tests for infection just in case). Thank God I had not unpacked the suitcase. Because of their denial, I would have brought the bugs into my house. I know it is not their fault they got the bugs. The problem is how they handled it which prolonged my suffering.

Rooms are on the small side but clean and maintenance was good except for a sharp screw on the back of one desk chair which caused a leg laceration. Housekeeping was told about it: the solution was to roll the chair to another (less useful) position.

Hotel staff were very lovely and professional, but it definitely didn't feel like a 4 star experience.

There were crumbs all over the chairs and the floors clearly hadn't been vacuumed when I checked into my room. I stayed for three nights and not once was the room vacuumed. One of my towels had a cigarette burn in it, which also made me wonder about the bathroom cleanliness.

The walls were quite thin and depending on your neighbours, you could hear everything. The windows were also quite thin and you could hear a lot of traffic.

The hotel is in a great location though.

Front desk is closed at night. One of the nights I stayed at the hotel, there was a party in the room next to mine, which lasted until 2:30am. I could not sleep. There was no one downstairs to take care of this.

Really nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful. Could not fault the hotel itself, but it felt like it was on a side street with not the best of businesses around it. But its a short walk to the main drag through downtown Montevideo. We would definitely stay there again if we get the chance.

Nice hotel. It's very modern and the rooms are nice and spacious. The breakfast spread was also great, cheese, cold meats, scrambled eggs, pancakes, french toast, variety of breads, cereal...etc. The location is very central. The only thing is that they don't have an ironing board or iron! We were there for a wedding and after checking in, we went to inquire about these items and they said that they don't have it and it can only be done through the laundry service, which is only open in the mornings.

When we first checked in, they gave us a room on a low floor with a claustrophobic view of the roof. It smelled like smoke and was tiny. We asked for another room that was much better but it overlooked rubble on a balcony across from us and chickenwire on the roof. Also the wifi was spotty.Not really a Palace although the price was very low.
The front desk staff was very good. They helped us with the ferry and spent a long time on the phone booking things for us. Very happy with the hotel staff.

Hotel esta velho, ainda tem banheira no chuveiro as cabeceira das camas estão velhas, os traveseiros bem surrados, a cama é boa…talvez eu não tenha gostado do cafe d amanhã por causa do meu desentendimento com a atendente eu peguei dois pãozinho para levar no quarto para minha filha que não viria tomar café, a mulher me pulou e fez eu devolver meio que na marra,( eu tinha incluido o cafe da manha na diaria e paguei por isso), elas queriam cobrar uma taxa para levar o café no quarto, claro que eu não topei e criamos um empasse, ai tomei a decisão de não seguir com demanda, isso me deixou constrangido e chateado, no mais agua a 25 reais

No probe el desayuno. Las sabanas estaban m;uy viejas. Los paños muy desgastados, no pusieron pañito de cara. Aire acondicionado bien. En el segundo pisono se puede abrir la ventana, da a patio horrible donde estan colocadas las unidades de ACV. Lobby muy bonito. El parqueo del hotel tiene costo adicional, no lo usamos, parqueamos en la calle. Hotel está bien ubicado.

Sujo, quarto sujo, sujeira antiga ancestral, andei de meia e ficou cheia de cabelos loiros (todos morenos no quarto), pó acumulado com bolas de sujeira, pelos e etc pelos cantos do quarto, o banheiro fede, fede horrivelmente, ao abrir a água da pia esteja preparado para um soco de esgoto em sua cara, prateleiras dos armários imundas, o ar condicionado esteva absolutamente coberto de sujeira com pó tão antigo que estava grudado, o teto estava sujo com bolas de pó e teias de muito e muitos meses. Pedimos para limpar, durante 6 dias, a sujeira permaneceu lá intacta. Serviço péssimo e desleixado. (vejam as fotos)
Toalhas com furos, rasgadas e gastas transparentes velhas .
Móveis velhos danificados e sem manutenção , a porta do armário caiu (colocaram de volta, com cara de que isso não era nada, e caiu novamente).
Aparência do quarto muito ruim, escuro, com cheiro de mofo.
Não vale o que cobra, o atendimento na recepção com cara de cansado e acostumado a ouvir reclamações iguais a nossa e não fazer nada.
O café da manhã não vale o que cobra, é mediano.

Voy a pedir la devolución del dinero, llegué a la 6.30am y sólo iba a estar 4 horas, sin problema pagué la noche entera. Me ponen en una habitación pegada a 3 ascensores, una de emplead@s y otros 2 de clientes. Todo el rato ruido de puertas, de utensilios de obra, voces, y en la habitación la calefacción tarda mucho y encima haciendo ruido todo el rato, la ducha de hace mil años y tupida, no he dormido ni descansado nada, me he ido a las 10.30am porque no aguantaba. Adjunto fotos para que se vea bien mi habitación junto a los ascensores Realmente penosa mi estancia, espero que me devuelvan el dinero

O quarto tem uma cama maravilhosa, o ar condicionado aquece bem, a banheira muito boa também. Como pontos negativos seria o estacionamento pago (17 dólares por dia), a limpeza do quarto que deixou a desejar (tiravam as toalhas e não faziam reposição, precisávamos pedir) e também a qualidade das toalhas (bem velhas e puídas). Gostamos da nossa estado mas esperávamos mais de um hotel 4 estrelas.

Ótima localização, recepcionistas atenciosas e dispostas a ajudar, quartos confortáveis e limpos. Sentimos um pouco de má vontade por parte da cozinha no horário noturno, parecia que não gostavam do que faziam, pois quando pedíamos as coisas, sempre estavam de cara feia e mexendo ao celular e nem se quer respondiam o boa noite dado às mesmas, largavam o celular e iam fazer com má vontade. Fora a catinga de cigarro ao falarem. Um dia ao pedi o cardápio para ver as opções me me negaram alegando que comer na rua era a melhor opção, ou seja, por preguiça.

FALTA DE MANUTENÇÂO . Urgente Manutenção

me hospedei 2 dias
hotel 4 estrelas .para mim não vale .porque entrei no quarto .o cheiro forte de esgoto.o ar condicionado não funcionava como teria que funcionar. liguei reclamando.nem me deram importancia.
essa noite tive que dormir desse jeito,achei uma falta de respeito absurda
no outro dia tive que ir e discutir com administração dai sim me trocaram de quarto.mais dai.perdi uma noite é paguei caro pra caraba.
as toalhas rasgadas nas bordas. nossa achei pessimo um hotel 4 estrelas. não gostei..

Buen hotel pero con toallas asquerosas.

El hotel en sí, el edificio y las instalaciones, están en buen estado pero me pusieron unas toallas que ni a un perro se las pondría yo. Es vergonzoso para ellos que tengan la desfachatez de ponerle esa basura a nadie. Me sentí insultado y despreciado al ver lo miserables que son. El hotel está muy bien ubicado en en centro de Montevideo pero todos los alrededores están llenos de vagabundos drogadictos que dan la sensación de inseguridad.
