Neglected. All broken Room 309 - Toilet didn’t flush, floor was sticky, TV didn’t work, plug by desk not working , tub had a hair in it and sink has black mold in it.
Maintenance came and fixed toilet, but didn’t work again next morning, housekeeping washed the floor

First impression, reception area seem to be outdated. It has bad smell like a dirty clothing. Room out dated with bathroom smelling like sewage. Asked for room chane and lady was stressed out and toll it will do the change 2-3 days. I was lucky next day I had a change of room in less than 5 minutes. Breakfast with few options and same menu everyday(4 of 10). The haals floor dirty.

The room allocated was large and very agreeable with large windows. The street not very busy and quiet. Breakfast had a good selection and having a restaurant is handy on days you are tired to go out again after sightseeing. The only problem was the smell of sewage from the bathroom. They fixed it but lasted 1 day then the smell came back. This seems to be a common occurrence all around Uruguay, from our experience after 2 weeks here.

Check in staff should be friendlier.
Hotel has great amenities, I cannot comment on this.
Our biggest issues the consistent concern with the funky smell from the washroom. We had to close the door at night and plug any orifice that had a drain.
Not sure why this is like this.
Might be some serious plumbing issue.

I don't know how this hotel has any 5 star reviews. Rudest hotel staff I've ever encountered. Walk up to desk and they're on their cell phones or talking to each other. They act like you're disturbing them. You walk by them and there is no smile or hello. They have no concept of what customer service is. Hotel is not properly taken care of. Lobby looks nice but once you reach your floor you'll see how badlt kept the hotel actually is.. Hall carpet dirty. Walls badly repaired. Our room had a big crack in sink that started leaking on the 3rd orn4th night. They had to come in and re-glue it from underneath. Big crack in toilet tank that thankfully had enough glue so didn’t leak. Door knob in bathroom falling off. Grab bar in tub loose. Only one outlet in room to charge phone. Walls were dirty. Our last night I was checking to make sure we had everything and pulled back curtain and saw mold on walls. I have pictures of everything and hope I can add them.

The room was very comfortable, the bed was good, the fridge worked well, the TV system was good and the bathroom was nice and there was just a little smell at times.
The breakfast is good, but could have a little more fruit. Too bad it took them a long time to clean the tables so that other people could use them.

Realmente esperé mucho más del lugar ya que me lo recomendaron… La habitación el primer día olía terrible, las toallas que tenía solo eran las que ven solo para secar mi cara y el techo tenía moho ..fui al lobby y la chica amablemente resolvió la situación… Igual queda la mala sensación espero que la pongan un mejor control es un sitio muy céntrico y debería ser mejor cuidado … Gracias

The heating was boiling and when asked to change it, they said it was central and couldn't be changed. We had to turn it off and have no heating (mind you, during winter). We went for the spa and it was closed and the jacuzzi off. We couldn't use any of the spa facilities. Furthermore, I cannot believe that the included breakfast they served alligns with a FOUR STARS Hotel. It was cheap overall, and not tasty at all. The coffee specially was very cheap. We tried to access the rooftop outside in the morning at it was close, so yet another facility we were not able to use. Finally, they said parking was included - but oh wonder it was so for an adittional price. A four stars hotel with no parking included...

Positive experience.

While the hotel's location is extremely convenient, in an area that invites you to walk around, and the adjacent restaurant is surprisingly good, I was a little disappointed in the bathroom's condition - it is clearly warned out, needing some maintenance, the bath gel dispenser in the shower was not refilled, and the shower water was lukewarm, at best. On the other hand, the hotel's gym is very well equipped, the staff is super friendly, and they allowed me a late check out. Internet connection is good. The breakfast offers some good options. In general, it was a positive experience. It was my third time staying at the hotel, and here's a tip: if possible, as for a corner room, they are the best ones.

The pool was under construction, so I was not able to use it as how they sold it on the picture. When I was having breakfast since they close at 11:00am without a warning they turned off the lights at 10:59am while they were still picking up food and they started laughing. So they were cleaning with the lights off and picking up the food with the lights off. One other client was struggling to look at her laptop. Aside of that, the location is in a great area. Staffing needs better training!

Yearly visit to Montevideo

As every ither visit, Dazzler offered exactly what I need. Despite plenty of new options, it will be hard to move me away from there. And as a regular traveler to Montevideo, they will have my business as far as they keep the standards right. Is good to feel remembered and employees calling you by name. Thank guys. Great job again

I travel from Seattle Washington and I stayed for 10 days. I stayed in a room with one unit being remolding at times was noisy. Breakfast was a little shocking because the breakfast selection was everyday potatoes with onions and scrambled eggs was the main dish. Then coffee and other stuff nothing crazy about. Orange juice is not natural, artificial and extremely sweet.

Hotel Dazzler is very nice but it could improve with little changes, like USB chargers by the nightstand, a more accessible towel hook in the bathroom (there is only one and very high) and ashtrays by the pool, so the floor is not full of cigarettes.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. The staff was unfriendly and unwilling to help. We told them a few times that the air conditioning in our room was not working and it took over 5 hours of heat for them to change our room. Staff is unfriendly.

It was a good location for us because we had family nearby. The room and facilities are a little old and outdated. There was a cockroach near the espresso machine which we killed. The bathroom had a funky smell was our biggest issue.
The breakfast was great!! The bed was comfortable and the people were nice.

I like the property however You can’t control the room AC on the winter for people coming from the North Room is too hot in the Winter and there is no way to change it shutting the whole thing off is the one option.
Also Parking is not included there is a separate fee. Everything else is ok

Bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work, the TV remote super old with all the channels translated into Spanish and no English option. I like the room was of a good size. The bed was comfortable. I like the included breakfast that was very good. I like that it was safe and
quiet.
It is a large hotel of 12 floors and there were a lot of people checking in every day. They have a nice pool on the 12th floor with a beautiful view of the area. They also have a complete gym with a spa.
I didn't like that there was not a microwave or coffee maker in the room. They offer complimentary coffee downstairs on the first floor.

The staff is the best. Extremely courteous and helpful. They also spoke English. There is a very good restaurant next to the hotel but it is closed on Mondays. The breakfast was ok. More of a European style. The fit/weight room is excellent. There is also a large jacuzzi. The room was comfortable with a balcony although there was no outdoor furniture. The bathroom has a bidet. The shower didn't have a glass that fully closed which left a puddle after I showered. The carpet in the hall was a little stanned. Overall the stay was nice but I would probably stay closer to downtown where more restaurants and clubs were within walking distancie. The taxis were quite expensive. Everything was expensive for that matter.

The place is actually nice however need some attention.
Our bathroom was smelling like sewage really bad.
The spa area had nice features but was dirty and never had towels after 5pm.
The pool area need some serious attention. The lounge chairs were falling apart and the deck was scary to walk on.
Breakfast was really nice, small but great items.
Staff was very friendly and nice.
The hotel is located near to several restaurants and a mall and we were able to walk every evening for dinner. We felt safe.
Overall ok experience but would not recommend unless the place goes through a renovation.

We stayed here for almost ten days. We first stayed in a suite and had to extend our stay by two days. The first room I wrote a review about already. Don’t recommended the suites. The second room was better, but still wouldn’t go back. The door handle barely worked. There were occasions where we had to get staff to come help open the door and they already knew about the issue, but it hadn’t been fixed. The card slide for power in the room was also not functioning properly and we we had to call for staff to help, again they knew of the issue but it hadn’t been fixed. The water in the toilet kept running. We had the Do Not Disturb sign on our door, but the staff still came in our room to tidy up etc. I had things misplaced because of this and had to go looking for them. No clue if anything went missing yet since we are still traveling. The included breakfast was terrible. The hot tub was gross to be totally candid. The water was yellow and smelled odd. The staff was otherwise friendly and helpful at the front desk. Convenient location. Beds were mostly comfortable which is a bonus, we’ve stayed in far nicer places that had much worse beds. Still won’t go back.

We got a room with a massive balcony that we paid extra for, but it had no furniture on it to use it. The staff we spoke to said there was nothing to do for this. It’s dated and aging with the floors needing replacing, but not the end of the world. Friendly staff. Clean overall. The pool has no sun umbrellas and is cold. The “hot tub” on the first floor was huge, but the water was green and had an off smell to it and the entire area. The included breakfast was different types of bakery items, some fruit, runny egg mixture and Uruguayan style yogurt. The area itself was nice with plenty of options for food, close proximity to the Rambla & beaches. There is no outside sitting area other than the pool area. We might stay here again, we might not. We definitely won’t pay for an upgraded room here again that’s for sure. I wish I could get a refund for the extra we paid for that because it was extra, but unusable space.

Nice hotel reasonably priced. Location good but not central. Adjoining restaurant quite expensive. Nice swimming pool and staff spoke English. One (bearded) person on reception answered ‘well you have now’ when I said that I had never experienced 10am checkout before. I found this a bit rude even if he was trying to be funny.

Very disappointed for a Wyndham brand this was the worst… sheets not fitting the bed resulting in exposed Matress…dirt on floors no vacuum…. Cleaning left us with only 1/4 roll of toilet paper… cups not available even to make our own coffee…. Not what you would expect from this brand

I liked this hotel very much. The only thing is the design of the bathtub is absolutely terrible; I risked twisting my ankle, or worse. When stepping in, there is an area intended to rest the head when in the tub,
but it there is no visual indication that it is there. Therefore, you step in and slide down to the side. That headrest should be place on the other end so that one can step into a flat area of the tub.
