The room was neglected. Shower was not cleaned for 5 days even after multiple requests. Chambermaids only make up bed and take towels. Towels not replaced unless requested.
No ice available in hotel- not even in restaurant.
Hallways were swept but never washed. Pool was not cleaned-slippery steps and sand. 4 chairs- 3 unusable- broken - at pool. Location is far from any tourist interests. Staff pleasant but unaccomodating. Plenty of better choices for the money.

The room was dirty, window glasses, dust nets in the floor, hair in bathroom, floor not washed. When we were assigned the room they were still cleaning it so we had to wait outside, the bed was done all wrong and they just covered it with a blanket, and the floor had paper, food and other garbage from previous guests but the cleaner just picked and leave, didn't wash. the cushions smelled like dirt. soap in bathroom was missing.

Excellent customer service. I have stayed here before but this time Ana was the difference. She was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect and took care of everything. I needed some help with luggage, getting a taxi at 4:30am. She even made sure I had refreshments ready for my early departure to the airport. This is my new home away from home. Thanks Ana

The best thing is that it has parking downstairs and an elevator connects you to your rooms, providing added security. The staff was super nice. The bed was very comfortable. I really liked the hotel. The only suggestion I would make is that breakfast doesn't include scrambled eggs. It's what breakfast is in other countries. I know it's not in Uruguay, but tourists like it. Everything else was excellent.

This property is conveniently located, offers a reasonably varied breakfast, and the rooms are spacious and well furnished. Excellent water pressure. But the standout feature is the staff. They are so kind and helpful, trying hard to accommodate every need. They really made our stay a pleasant one, especially given that we had to land at this hotel at the last minute when our Airbnb didn’t work out. Bonus: they are pet friendly!

Things to know:
The hallways can be a bit noisy and the doors close very loudly
Beds are firm (typical for the region)

The suites are not very well kitted out (kettle and more crockery would be useful)
On the first day toilet blocked and my towels were removed. After this service was excellent just a bad day. Pool a little small but useful facility to cool off in in evening.
Breakfast an excellent arrangement of cold platter pastries and fruit.

Location is great. Unfortunately they need to work on cleanliness. Bathroom needs a major makeover with bleach. They offer plates w/no sponges or dish detergent. i will not be returning. U ask 4 clean towels and they dont come.

Good 3 stars hotel in Montevideo

The hotel is an average 3 stars but with very good customer service. Lication is good considering Montevideo is small and dinning options are very good on a 10 blocks radio.

The complimentary parking garage is a great future to leverage against other options. Is very hard to park in the city.

We have only have positive things to say about the hotel or staff, they were always very friendly and willing to help when needed
Room was left spotless after cleaning
Easy walk to shopping centre or down to the Rambla and other interning places near by.
If you don’t like walking transport is right outside the door
We wouldn’t hesitate to go back next time we visit family

I had stayed here many times in the past. The hotel has gone downhill. The staff at night was useless in giving directions. They made no effort and in fact sent me to a restaurant that was closed.

On 4 separate occasions we returned to a clean room without ANY towels. Do you can imagine being tired or sweaty and not be able to shower or get refreshed. This was unacceptable missing once is an error this many times is a routine standard.

Finally we ordered room service 3 times and only received it once. The other two never came.

The hotel staff speaks English so there was no reason for the experience. Usually after we called the main lobby towels would come. I did speak with the manager, I got apologies but no credit. This was a 20day stay with two rooms. I expected at a minimum for towels, efficient service. They are not short staffed just poorly manage.

Lots if other choice same price range. Choose more wisely. This will be my last stay here!

Decent hotel for budget price. The room smelled like chemical cleaning products. Hallways and room looks sterile, like an office building. The bed mattress was terribly soft - I sunk into it and I’m a short, slight woman. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Very comfortable stay, nice room, good size with a small kitchenette area that was very useful. The breakfast was a cold buffet with plenty of choice - especially of pastries! We particularly appreciated the helpfulness of the staff in allowing us to check in much earlier than our specified time.

At the check-in moment, I did not feel very comfortable because when they answered me, an employee interrupted us. Seconds later the phone was more important than ending with us.
To top it off at dawn we woke up at 3.30am our room neighbor with music at full volume, and after several calls and security visit, the best option for us was to pack and change rooms.
I did not see professional people in this hotel, I was very upset

Great staff. Rooms with a view are much noisier as they face the street. There's a bus stop directly across from hotel. Beautiful lobby and clever signs. Bed was especially comfortable for Uruguay. I will probably stay again next year if the price is right. 5G service in lobby, wifi on floors a bit more unreliable.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Was given a quiet room immediately after asking. Clean room, bathroom could have been cleaner in the corners. Very quiet air conditioning, Good blackout curtains. Slept well, bed was fine. Ajoining restaurant very convenient, staff friendly. I only stayed one night, but I can reccomend this hotel for an inexpensive welcoming place to stay.

Great location and comfortable

I stayed at the Regency Way for a whole week. I loved the area, close to the mall and coffee shops. The Deluxe room was perfect with it's mini kitchen, I had a nice view of the city skyline. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only issue was other guests smoking on my floor, which hotel staff kindly dealt with when it was brought to their attention.

The service lacked in this hotel. No one greets you when you enter or leave. It wasn’t very welcoming. The breakfast was also poorly executed with no hot options and mostly carbs. Although the room was spacious, the location of the hotel is doesn’t offer many options for food.

Great breakfast. I would avoid the lunch and dinner at the hotel. It is subbed out, and the lunch and dinner is overpriced and not that good. Great restaurants nearby. La Passiva is great; about 200 meters away. I have stayed at this hotel many times. ANA at the front desk is GREAT.

Everything I needed at great value, great location

Unexpectedly, this hotel turned out to have eveything I could possibly need (comfort, security, nice and attentive staff, good locaton, a hair dryer, wireless internet, TV, etc.) The price was surprisingly low and even included breakfast.

Not the best neighborhood for tourists

The hotel is located few blocks from Montevideo shopping mall and World Trade Center. Although its only few blocks away its not safe to walk. The location is good for travelers who visit the World Trade Center, we would not recommend the location for tourists at all since its not a good neighborhood and far away from the city centre and tourist attractions. The hotel facilities are modern, not stylish. Breakfast is good. Service is good for Montevideo standards. The room we stayed in was well equipped, bathroom was nice BUT the beds are unacceptable. We asked to separate the beds and got two very small much to narrow and short beds. On top the mattress was very uncomfortable.

Quick business stay in Montevideo

It was only a quick visit to Montevideo but the hotel was in a good location for my business meetings. Friendly staff in the restaurant. I would have liked to use the gym but the glass walls meant that anyone in the lobby or restaurant area could have seen me working out.
