This is our second time this year that we stayed @ Gema Luxury Hotel and are very happy with our stay. Everyone from the front desk & housekeeping personnel are very attentive and willing to help and make your stay a comfortable one. Will definitely come back.

Our staying was amazing. We stayed in a 4 beds room. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable as well.
The staff was very kind and always very helpful. The hotel is very well located, close to the beach and many shops around.

Good hotel, very practical and comfortable.
I stayed alone, the room was very spacious and had a terrace for sunbathing.
Good Wi-Fi and close to many restaurants, points of interest and the Rambla.
The hotel staff is lovely and the gentleman at the reception, I think his name is Andres, very professional and helpful.
I would go back without hesitation and thank very much for everything.

Arriving at the unity we had no towels. When asking for it, the front desk mentioned that it is supposed to arrive during the night. I had to ask for it multiple times. Clean room and good location.

The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful.
I have stayed there in the past and the hotel was very well kept. Now unfortunately is not, very rundown. Not worth the price.
The area is safe and close to the coast. Unfortunately the street was close for repairs during our stay, for that reason was dusty, noisy and when it rained was very muddy. We were disappointed. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel advertises airport transfers, one of the main reasons we choose this place. I communicated many times with the hotel, ensuring the transportation was in place. Our flight arrived and no one was there. I got someone from the airport to call... they said they had no record of our communication. I showed the email and the hotel said that hotel worker (who used the hotel’s email) never told anyone else. Needless to say, we waited at the airport for an hour, fifteen minutes for someone to come. They, unabashedly still charged us the $50 fee. The hotel itself was OK. Seems like it might have been nice 10-20 years ago. If you do find yourself desperate enough to come here, take an Uber from the airport departures. It is 1/3 of the price and none of the waiting.

The people are highly rude bad attitude. The facility was dirty, never changed my sheets. Breakfast was kosher without informing me. They over charged me for a can of beer $9usd. That I did not order. Don’t recommend

Great except for WiFi

It was the Easter weekend and the hotel was full. The hotel was fine with a good breakfast although the shower was a little intermittent in temperature. However the internet is a real issue. My friend runs her own business and good internet is essential. The hotel when full does not have adequate internet and the staff admitted this was an issue as they couldn't deny it. This is a fundamental issue that the hotel needs to address. Cost cutting at construction stage I suspect.

Good neighbourhood. Near some great Parilla's. They also organise bike rental which is a great day to spend a day cycling round the huge promenade. Great breakfast too and the lady serving was absolutely lovely and very helpful.

Great small hotel close to La Rambla

A great hotel, only 3 blocks from La Rambla, and close to Punta Carretas shopping. Great resto-bars close by. The breakfast, including eggs, was great, and the room was a full studio apartment, with a microwave (no stove). There were also Kosher options for the buffet.

The front desk staff spoke only Spanish, which I would expect. But when I tried to speak to them, I couldn't get them to speak slower or try to accommodate a foreigner. It was hard for me to understand their accents. A very slight negative to a great place.

Many better options

This is a very simple hotel. It was clean and nothing specific that was terrible, but it's not a Luxury hotel and there are better values.

Couple examples, no plug converters and US plugs won't work (only hotel with this issue in Uruguay and Argentina), the desk told me where a store was I could buy on. No irons or ironing board. They use two flat sheets to make the bed, which clearly doesn't stay made.

Again it's clean and acceptable but there are better values.

Nice place in good location

The hotel is not big, but well kept. It has a good location, three blocks from the Rambla and about 7 blocks from Punta Carretas. The room was very nice. The breakfast was quite good, especially for Uruguayan standards of breakfast. It had wi-fi, but was a bit sporadic at times.

To expensive for the quality

- This hotel is named 'Gema Luxury' but there was no luxury
- Staff is friendly, up until you ask something of them. The sink was clogged and the window shade didnt close all the way. Those two items were reported but were never fixed. I was told, 'we'll be sure and fix that'. Never happened
- Hotel does have some nice restaurants near by
- The bed was not that comfortable and was really small for a twin

Huone on mukava ja iso. Sänky on myös mukava, vaikka peitto oli rikki. Kylpyhuone oli myös hyvä . Kun saavuimme ja saimme huoneen, siellä ei ollut kylpypyyhkeitä, jotka saimme vasta klo 17! Muutenkin pyyhkeet eivät olleet kovin hyviä. Keittiönurkkaus oli hyvä, vaikka viimeisinä päivänä oli viemarinhajua.
Huoneisto on 3 eikä 4 tähden. Kaiken kaikkiaan kuitenkin ihan hyvä vaihtoehto . Hinta - laatu suhde hyvä.

Un hôtel annoncé comme 4 étoiles, mais qui n'en mérite que 2. Draps usés, oreillers très sales avec des taches jaunes, couette déchirée et extrêmement usée, robinetterie en mauvais état, des cheveux partout dans la chambre et la salle de bain. Ils ne passent pas l'aspirateur, seulement la serpillière. Les toilettes son jaune se trace d'urine incrusté, et la décoration est détériorée. J'ai quitté après 3 jours alors que j'avais payé pour 13 jours, mais ils refusent de me rembourser..

Situé dans le quartier de Pocitos, cette appart hotel reste quand même bien situé. Néanmoins la chambre que nous avons pris elle nous a bien servit. Nous sommes resté pour deux nuits, dans le hôtel le petit déjeuner est servit dans le format continental…pas de commentaires car nous n’avons pas pris.
Dans les environemments vous y trouverez des joli café et pâtisseries
Les chambres sont spacieuses, literie acceptable, pour une visite éclair ça ne vous cassera pas le dos.
Pays assez cher, comparé à la Suisse. D’ailleurs nous avons été surpris que certains produits/service, coûterait même plus cher qu’en Suisse.

Ótimo custo beneficio. Localização boa. Anteciparam o check in e estenderam o check out em algumas horas sem custo. Chuveiro bom, colchões novos. Poderia melhorar a qualidade das fronhas e fazer pequenos reparos como remover mofo do teto do banheiro. Café da manhã é modesto mas saboroso, poderia ter alguma fruta.

Destaco la calidad del personal, atento y empático.
Creo que tienen que mejorar mucho lo que ofrecen en la habitación. Al baño le funcionaban la mitad de las luces, solo ofrecían pava eléctrica y dos vasos. Ni platos, ni tazas, ni pequeño anafe ni cocina, ni utensillos para cocinar. Es mas bien un hotel mediocre antes que un appart.

Hervorragend war die Sauberkeit der Zimmer und der Service. Das Hotel hat eine top Lage, sehr zentral mit guten Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen und nur wenige Gehminuten zum Strand. Dem Frühstück fehlt es ein wenig an Vielfalt aber kurzum wir konnten immer gestärkt in den Tag starten.
Kann dieses Hotel bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Fue la segunda vez que me alojé en este hotel. Me gusta mucho y todos han sido muy educados y amables. Tuve un pique de presión alta y el hotel tiene un seguro y una enfermera fue allí para verme. Excelente. Sólo quedé un poco aburrido que no limpiar la habitación de un día el otro.

o hotel teria uma boa avaliação senao fosse um pequeno deslize na limpeza e atendimento

detectamos que o sanitario do quarto estava respingada com fezes nas bordas e pedimos a recepcao pela manhã que realizem a limpeza.

saimos para os passeios e quando voltamos a noite nada tinho sido feito e ninguem foi no quarto checar

Chambres \"immenses\", dotées d'une petite kitchenette.
Dans un quartier excentré, mais proche de la plage de Pocito, et doté de tous les commerces, restaurants, etc... possibles.
Centre ville facilement accessible avec les nombreuses lignes d'autobus.
Petit déjeuner assez sommaire, mais largement compensé par la proximité de la mythique boulangerie Biarritz (et la possibilité de faire chauffer son café dans la chambre).
Personnel de la réception très aimable.
Pour ceux qui veulent une vie de quartier, loin des touristes.
Certainement le lieu de mon prochain séjour.

Café da manhã ok, funcionários prestativos e a localização é ótima, próximo a mercado, casa de câmbio com boa cotação, restaurantes e da praia. Porém no dia que chegamos claramente o quarto nao estava limpo(nem perto disso). Cama e chão com pelos e o banheiro com um cheiro horrível de urina e com mofo por toda a parte. Conversamos na recepção e a limpeza do quarto melhorou, no entanto o banheiro continuava com o cheiro horrível que vinha do vaso. Tivemos que comprar água sanitária para amenizar, mas no dia seguinte já estava fedendo de novo. Não sei se dei azar com o quarto, mas não recomendo esse hotel porque o mínimo que se espera é um quarto limpo.

Hotel bem localizado na área de Pocitos e Punta Carretas com restaurantes, lojas, parque, praias e shopping em fácil acesso. O recepcionista Andres é muito atencioso e solícito. Um diferencial! O café da manhã é OK com frutas, iogurte, cereais, café, leite, chá, sucos, bolos, pães. E as vezes ovos mexidos. O quarto de casal é amplo e a cama confortável. O banheiro tem uma boa ducha. Somente a limpeza do quarto/banheiro ficou um pouco a desejar.

Hotel pequeno e muito bem localizado. Quarto grande e cama confortável. Roupa de cama e banho em péssimo estado. Café da manhã bem gostoso. A limpeza parece até que não existe no hotel. Banheiro bem sujo, quarto com cortinas sujas e louças que não foram lavadas direito. Móveis do quarto cheio de pó .
As louças usadas no café da manhã também não são lavadas direito. Teve um dia que tive que falar com a moça para retirar todas as xícaras para lavar.
Funcionários da recepção ótimos. Leandro nota 10 para você.
Não voltaria a me hospedar por conta da limpeza.
