I absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great and most importantly, the staff was wonderful. I want to mention Alvaro who was the front desk manager who was incredibly kind and helpful. He even traveled with me to the bus station to make sure that I found the correct bus to my next destination. I am incredibly grateful!

Great stay! We had been in a very old property in Montevideo to begin with and were driven out by noise and insect bites. We transferred to this lovely Hilton and the first thing my spouse said was \"God bless America and the Hiltons\". Great staff and breakfast. We had a view of the Rambla and the waterfront, walked everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice modern hotel. Area is quiet and away from the crowds in the old city. It’s also cleaner and nicer. The hotel is also steps away from the beach.

Room is functional and well decorated and designed. Clean and housekeeping is done everyday at a reasonable time (unlike some other hotels that often has it done late afternoon).

Staff is also competent and warm.

Room and bathroom are very small, bed and pillows are not comfortable. Reviews are overrated, I would not rate this hotel as exceptional, at most I would say average (6 out of 10). I find it pricey, there are better options in the area in the price range. The restaurant food was good.

-Any dealings with them they lie. They use Spanish speaking employees from neighboring poor countries who are often customer facing to carry out their corrupt policies. All the Uruguayans (white) hide out from being customer facing. They have one white Uruguayan girl managing the brown skinned employees. She is a bully. Stay away from this property.

Soro is a relatively small boutique hotel. The room was extremely clean with wonderful beautiful funky furnitures. The king bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and satisfying. Finally, staff was extremely professional, friendly, and eager to help with all sort of questions.

The property itself was fine - what you have come to expect from Hilton. We thought after the amount of money we paid for the room we wouldn't have to pay for each individual coffee pod that we used, but alas, that was not the case.
Our issue was with the fact that we checked out 2 days early and they refused us any sort of refund(we paid in advance). Their policy states that the penalty for cancellation or change will be one night's stay but clearly that was not the case with us. Very poor customer service considering we checked in a day early and paid them for an additional night and still they refused to refund us anything.

Honestly this was the absolute best hotel we’ve ever had the pleasure to stay at...and we travel a lot! The staff was incredible in every way and were just genuinely nice people too. The rooftop was a bonus and the gym was great too with all new equipment. We also tried several menu items at the restaurant and every one was delicious! The humus plate was amazing! This is a new hotel so everything is in really good shape. It’s very nicely designed. The service is good - everyone tries hard to make guests as comfortable as possible. I’ve stayed in a few hotels in Montevideo and this one is definitely my favorite. The other Hilton feels more corporate, older and has bad water pressure in the showers. This hotel however, has excellent water pressure in the shower - a small thing that is quite annoying when it isn’t the case. The location is also very pleasant, next to the waterfront and beach, yet with many restaurants within walking distance. The gym is small but perfectly useful, and I love that it’s on the roof so there are big floor to ceiling windows with lots of natural light. (I really don’t like gyms that are too closed in or lack windows, and many other hotels do have that problem.) The breakfast was very good as was all the food I had in the restaurant. The chef is very accommodating, willing to alter recipes or take special orders according to a guest’s preference. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished and the beds are very comfortable. Wonderful experience here - I stayed almost 2 weeks in total, and if I’m back in Montevideo, I’ll surely stay here again.

O hotel é excelente! A equipe da recepção é extremamente educada e atenciosa, sempre se esforçando para atender às nossas necessidades e para conseguir se comunicar conosco, já que não falamos espanhol.

O quarto era amplo e as camas extremamente confortáveis. O banheiro também era excelente. O serviço de quarto foi realizado diariamente, com reposição de toalhas em todas as visitas.

O hotel conta ainda com uma jacuzzi e uma academia no último andar, com uma vista linda! Não chegamos a utilizar esses espaços, mas vimos hóspedes aproveitando o ambiente.

Não tomamos café da manhã no hotel, então não consigo opinar sobre esse serviço.

No tenían el lugar contratado

Sinceramente elegí el Hotel por tener cochera c cuando llegue me dijeron que no tenían, porque solo había unas pocas y las habían ocupado. Una vergüenza no detallarlo. Igualmente yo vi que tenían vacías y el recepcionista con muy mala voluntad y sin dar soluciones se molestó en hacer nada por solucionarlo. Sinceramente la atención no corresponde con la de un hotel de la cadena Hilton y menos que no cumplan con lo que venden o promocionan.
