Breakfast was ok, there was bacon and eggs.
Negative points : some of the room has absolutely no view as there is another building 10 ft from the windows. It was noisy on one morning at 7:30.

All was fine except for the quality of the breakfast. We didn’t even bother going again after trying it but that’s ok given there are so many other yummy food options in Quincy. Wish they offered free bottled water per night, per guest of stay - I once asked and staff was nice to give me 2 bottles (even though there were 3 of us for 4 nights). Not a big deal. First night - got waken up by fire alarm before 7am. Someone burnt toast and triggered it. After firefighters came and shut off the alarm, front desk was MIA for at least 15 mins, so did kitchen staff. Food at breaky was not replenished, we couldn’t even get hot water for tea. And the place has zero soundproof. Lucky for us, our upstairs neighbour gets up at 5 and marches up and down the unit every. single. morning. All the way till about 7:30. And you hear every single step. And yes you can hear your next door neighbours too! So if you want a good night of sleep, avoid this place.

We were there for 3 nights and we just piled up the use towels in one corner in the bathroom. We have to bring out our own trash too! It was just not a very comfortable stay considering the money we paid!

We stayed for 3 nights. The room was fine, but the complimentary breakfast wasn’t. Every single day we went the food and coffee were cold, despite them being in containers that were supposed to prevent that. We also went to breakfast on one of the mornings at around 8:45 (breakfast ends at 9:30), and they were out of eggs and sausage and never refilled them. There also weren’t any microwaves in the rooms, so if you wanted to warm something up you have to take it all the way to the breakfast area and back. Overall, the stay was okay. If you choose to stay here, I’d say skip the breakfast.

Shower head was only 4 feet off the floor, shower head spilling water onto the floor (not centered in the shower), toilet paper holder attached to the toilet side in back, bad lightening everywhere, no counter space in the bathroom, hair on the sheets ( I asked for new ones and no offer to change them), outside doors don’t close on their own (not safe), vending machine doesn’t make change and neither does the front desk, no bar soap available and no hand soap at the bathroom sink, no towel bar at the sink, end table for the bed was put into the bathroom so there was no end table on one side of the bed, no alarm clock. Reserved a King and got an only one queen.

I wasnt expecting a classy joint, or anything, but considering that 2 of the 3 nights we stayed our keycards we deactivated. Our lights/power went out in JUST our room on our last day and there was quite the wait before it was addressed. And the front desk was unattended for hours on a weekend. Not to mention the less than perfect condition of a few areas of the room. Ripped lamp shade, makes on wall, cracked toilet, dented fridge....sure it wasnt an expensive place to stay but i still feel i overpaid.

Bed comfort was great and sheets were clean. Room was in need of repair. Floors, holes in the walls, missing caulking, shower faucet wouldn’t stay in same temperature spot. Didn’t even try to sit on the armchair that looked like it was many years past prime with stains. Looks like they renovated the outside of the hotel and hadn’t done the rooms or at least rm103 yet. Breakfast was awful when I went around 8:30-9. Few choices, disorganized area. You would think with it being a Saturday morning they’d bring their A game. Guess not.

Overall it was a good value. It's hard to find free parking and free breakfast nowadays. I didn't have the breakfast because i needed to get on the road but there was ample parking. They had hard wood floors in the room which i was surprised by as I don't think I've ever been in a hotel without carpeted floors. The chair at the desk was very old and frayed, and the shower area showed signs of needing repair, but the water pressure was great in the shower. Staff was nice. Would stay here again as it's close to family and affordable.

Not safe.

I stay there all but 1 hour. The room next to me had some very noisy people yelling and screaming at each other. Then the yelling and screaming trickled into the hallway infront of my room door and the started physically assaulting each other. I called down stairs, someone came up but they didnt have them leave. I did not feel safe with them being in the room adjacent to us so i checked out. Turns out the three people in the room were there all wrekend on a drug bender and got into an altercation. I will never book there again. I dont recommend it.

The wood flooring would have been a plus but it was coming apart and we kept tripping over it. There was a very dirty, stained, ripped chair in the room. It would’ve been better if there was no chair at all. The water pressure in the shower was TERRIBLE and I suspect the AC unit was also dirty based on the sinus infection I had within 3 days of our stay there.

I chose this hotel because the website said breakfast started at 6 AM, and I knew I had to leave at 6:30 sharp for an important appointment. I arrived downstairs at 5:55 AM, and I saw nothing was set up. Someone began setting up at about 6:05 AM, and I noticed signage outside said breakfast started at 6:10 AM. It would be tight, but I could still make it. At 6:15 AM, nothing was available yet, so I asked the lady setting up when breakfast would be ready. She said 6:30 AM, to which I replied that the website said 6 AM. She snapped back that the paperwork when we checked in said 6:30 AM. Now I don’t remember getting any such paperwork, but more importantly, you book based on the website, and it’s no longer refundable after that, so there was no way for me to know until this terrible little interaction. I was almost late for my appointment and had to go buy food in a rush, which completely undermined the reason I booked this hotel over others. Bait and switch. I wish I had stayed elsewhere to avoid this problem.

This HoJo is nice. The location is very convenient for me and my family that lives nearby. We use this location often. It’s clean and the breakfast is a nice bonus for traveling and expenses. I would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately not a great stay. Desperately needed a good shower for pre surgery purposes and it only came out like a drinking fountain. Front desk said someone would come fix it but they did not. I went to the desk and the woman on the phone did not acknowledge me, finally hung up, turned away to get her purse then walked past me and left without a word. No one else was around. The breakfast was always depleted and it appeared no one was around to restock. Bummer.

We stayed from Monday-Friday with no room cleaning of any kind. Had to ask for more towels. Dated room, light fixture broken, stain on chair, broken towel bar. Door did not shut well. Did not empty trash.

When I arrived for check-in, the entire center of town was shut down for a parade! I had to park five blocks away and walk in the rain to my hotel! The business never contacted me or told me anything about this. Extremely frustrating!
