Apartment was clean and short walk from train. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Not too far from downtown Boston. Check in/check out process was very easy and convenient. If I ever find myself back in Boston, I’ll definitely see if this one is available.

This lil apartment is located across street from Walgreens and Dollar Tree so was very convenient for the little things we forgot to pack. Safe surroundings. Parking is a lil tricky, but be patient and just drive round the block you will easily find something. Walking distance to the train station. Host was very sweet and helped us with all our needs. Only a few minor issues. The floors and doors are very squeaky, but it is an older home so that is expected we just hope we didn't bother those below us. Our heat did not work and we did need it a couple of nights that were pretty cold, but we told the host and she was gonna have HVAC to come out after we left. Weather was crazy cold one day and got the next so it would have been nice to have some a/c but after thinking about it, I'm sure not many places up north have a/c like we do in the south 😁...all in a lol a great place to stay, easy travel to Salem as well by train. Would stay again at this property.

Great for multiple families
We were SO pleasantly surprised with this one! In a cute area of Dorchester, just minutes from good breakfast and the T (Savin St) we couldn't have found a better place for our extended family trip to Boston. We had the whole building/apartments on three floors to ourselves. Living space was ample and amenities were good but the charmingly restored features and and cleanliness were fantastic. And, we lucked out with free weekend parking right in front of the building. My whole family kept marveling at the incredible find I made, so it was definitely a great fit.

Outside is a bit run-down looking, but the inside was nice. Best parking, at least the night we were there (a Thursday), was several blocks away, and if you stay multiple nights expect to move your vehicle during the day. Beds are quite low, but were of nice quality. Overall a nice place to stay.

I hated the location. As soon as we parked our car the next door neighbors were out to inform us that the police would give us a $50 ticket if we did not move. We didn't move and we didn't get a ticket. This property has to stop listing itself as a hotel because it is not. After we finally gained access to our room (3 flights upstairs) we realized we were in a hostel. There was a living room across the hall from us a powder room at 1 of the hallway and a really nice bathroom down the other way in the hallway. There was a nice kitchen with a separate laundry room and a separate dining room. All of these things are shared by the guests on the 3rd floor. The the only other guests I saw was a woman who was obviously suffering from a cough and cold. She was in the living room watching TV so we avoided that room but we still had to share a bathroom with a sick personThe room was tiny and barely big enough for a queen size bed. Had a nice size flat screen TV & a good size closet. I was really angry that the place called itself a hotel. What it is, is a nice hostel and if you're into staying in places like that in neighborhoods with one-way streets(don't even think about stopping in the street for a minute to unload your car. You'll be welcomed to Boston by an Irate local because you're holding him up) . The inside has been recently remodeled at least a floor we were on but the building is not at all handicap accessible and the winding stairs to get to the third floor were no fun

Check in process archaic
Has it not been for a nice stranger walking by in the street I would still be standing in the dark, tired from traveling internationally and frustrated with an archaic lock box. The directions were detailed of which I had written out but the lock box itself was incredibly difficult to open & navigate. Two other guests tried to help explaining it also took them 30 minutes and they left frustrated. I called management and begged them to come to my aid, they texted me lock box instructions as they live too far away. By God’s Grace a stranger walked by and I asked for help, he was able to open it. The place was clean as advertised but the check in process is ridiculous and the porch light should have a switch to always be on as it was turned off not helping this intense navigation of a lock box.

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment. The owner was very generous, stocking the fridge and cabinets with breakfast items. There were plenty of towels and everything was very clean. There are nice laundry facilities available as well as cool AC. Just a note that this property is an apartment within a multiple unit building. It is more like an AirBNB than a hotel room. It was very affordable and nice for larger families or groups.

The property was nice with plenty of towels but I did not read that it was a shared bathroom when I booked. It was like sharing an apartment with strangers. There is nothing within walking distance and parking sucks. I must say the bed was uncomfortable and could not sleep on it. The blood stained comforter was not a good sign of hospitality but if you are looking to rest your head for one night this is perfect. I wouldn’t stay longer than a night.

The posting is very misleading at best. You should know this is not a private room, you will be thrown together with people you do not know. There is a shared bathroom, not a desirable situation. This needs to be clear up front without having to read the fine print. I also feel I was baited with a low price but then afterwards the additional charges were added on which made it NOT a good deal at all. The room is extremely small where you sleep. The common areas are fine but you will share it with strangers.

The check-in was ridiculous! Although the woman on the phone was very nice, it was late (after 11pm) for me to check in , and after waiting at front door, she instucted me to go to the side of house through the gate to the side door where I'd find a lockbox.... Lockbox was VERY difficult to see and bring up numbers, nevermind opening up! When I finally did retrieve the 3 separate keys, it was like trying to get into Fort Knox! 3 doors with 3 separate keys and ridiculously long texts explaining each key to which door! AYE YI YI!! I parked on the street in front of house, but will have to move it at 7am, to where I don't know.... There is only permit parking around here.... Kitchen is big, and I'm washing my pajamas now as I dropped them into curb covered with water when getting my stuff out of car.... I'm not sure this neighborhood is safe! Anyway, it was completely false advertising on Travelocity!! There is no beach - it's in Dorchester in a sketchy neighborhood and although I booked late on a Monday night after enjoying sailng Boston Harbor and deciding I was too tired to drive on, they advertised $69, but the taxes were more than half of room price, another $37!! As I was trying to open up lockbox, I kept saying I hope this place is worth it! I was pleasantly surprised! Very nice inside.... plenty of room....But location on Travelocity's map is not accurate, and I feek like I was duped!

It was nice but my quest wanted a hotel. I didn't read all the information because i was busy working and trying to book. We were farther away from the walk event then I anticipated. The place was clean and has everything you need. Do not park on the street at all got a huge ticket. form unloading the car. UNLOAD IN THE RITE AID parking lot. It was fine for 1 night!

We didn’t know we would be sharing a suite with other people. I’m not sure if there were other people or not, but there was another locked and numbered room for other people in the same suite as us. The waters in the fridge had broken seals but were filled to make you think they were new waters. We were on the bottom floor and the floors creaked so bad upstairs that we thought someone was jumping around right outside our door. It was SO loud. We couldn’t sleep. I just wish this place was advertised more honestly and that the price was lower. $150 was steep for what we got.

This property is a beautiful old building with locked bedrooms within shared suites. Kitchen, living area and bathrooms are shared. There is no check-in counter. Lodgers are given entry instructions via email or text. This was fine for just one quick night with a companion but could be uncomfortable for lone travelers. Could be creepy or enlightening, depending on whom one is matched up with. Renting a suite as a group is a cheap win. The building itself and suite facilities are fine. Otherwise, consider it a high-class hostel shared with other lodgers.

The property was recently upgraded, the kitchen and bathrooms are modern and spacious - it is absolutely clean and comfortable. The bathrooms, living room and kitchen are shared between 2 rooms - I will certainly be back in the future, and would recommend the place to friends and professional colleagues alike.

All was good. I was surprised as it was a shared room and not a hotel room as I expected, I may not have read the terms before booking. Otherwise all was ok, communication via text messages were good, they were accommodating.

The host told us that there was a plenty of spaces in a street ( I already forgot the name....) at any time. However, we received a ticket for parking in a wrong time because that day was the street cleaning day and it was not allowed to park there. We complained to the host that she should take some responsibility to this ticket because of her unclear message, but the host denied and said we had no common sense. It is so ridiculous. It was really an unpleasant experience!!!! Do not believe your host completely. In addition, there is a lot dirt in the bed....

The neighborhood was interesting, very local and not touristy. The place was convenient to public transport. Very clean. Very quiet. Reasonably generous breakfast food options. Reasonably priced for Boston. The bed was kind of soft. It would be good to have a chair or two, or a table or desk or some thing to put one's belongings on in the room. I had a great stay at Boston Luxury Suites. Fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils plus food items made making breakfast very easy. Well furnished with a comfortable bed. Very convenient to mass transit. Several restaurants within a very short walking distance. Check in and check out were very easy I had a very nice stay there.

This was an older property in a Boston Suburb. We had the whole of the second floor, which was the two bedroom apartment. Everything, and more, we needed for breakfast etc was in the kitchen. The apartment was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of room to spread out. Close to the subway station to get into Boston itself. There were restaurants and bars within easy walking distance but not too many of them. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

I liked so much! The host, Mumey, was super hospitable and was a great communicator. She even helped clean so we could get in early. She accommodated all of our needs and was full of great information. The house was very comfortable and extremely clean. It is a European style environment. There were others staying at the property but we never did see them. We had our floor to ourselves. I would highly recommend this place for the value, comfort, cleanliness and overall experience. It was safe and had many comforts of home. She even stocked the fridge and cupboards with some staples. I have will definitely return!!

This is the perfect place to stay in Boston if you are looking for a low cost alternative to a traditional high end hotel.. The rooms are impeccably clean and everything that you may need is available for you. If you are traveling as a family I would highly recommend. We saved hundreds of dollars on food alone by not eating out as much. You will share the kitchen and common areas with others if you don't rent the entire unit but this can be a benefit to meet new friends. Keep and open mind and rent this place. You absolutely will not regret it. We will definitely stay again.

It’s a much better experience to stay at this guest house than an average motel in Boston I would say. There is no front desk, so don’t be alarmed when you get there and no one is there to greet you. Muny, the owner made me feel very comfortable over the phone by explaining the set up and about the other guests who are staying at the apartment. The apartment is very clean and comfortable but you share the bathroom. I was there only 12 hours. My only suggestions would be adding a luggage stand, a mirror and additional lock in the room. The upstairs folks arrived after 2 am so the noise kept me awake for an hour. A plenty of parking outside on weekends. All in all, a good experience.

Our room was up a tricky staircase (not for anyone with disabilities). The common space (including restroom) was shared. This is more of a B & B than a hotel. They provided breakfast (eggs in fridge, cereal in cabinets, etc.). Very clean, but we saw a mouse run under the stove. On-street parking. Residential neighborhood. Various ethnic restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

This place does have some good points: reasonable price, fresh well done remodel, and clean. On the other hand the Travelocity description states “shared bathroom”, well that is not all you share, you share everything in the apartment (bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room, dining room, washer/dryer) everything except the rather small bedrooms. Our main problem however was with the hot water. My wife and I arrived and self checked in at about 9:00 PM on a Monday night, we were the only guests in the unit. At about 11:00 my wife went to take a shower only to discover that there was no hot water. I immediately called the contact number and was informed that they do have 24 hour maintenance service and she would call them. I texted her an hour later asking about the status and was told that a service technician would come the next day between 7 and 11AM and also that she was still trying to get someone to come in on short notice. I called again in the morning to ask about the status and was told that the 7-11 service call was the best they could do. At that point I said that since this was a major inconvenience (both of us needed to take showers) they should offer to give us some sort of credit back from what we paid for the unit. She hesitated, then said they would think about it and get back to me. Then it got a bit weird, she said that they are used to dealing with Europeans, and that Americans “always seem to expect everything to work when they stay at their properties”. She rep

The overall experience in this hotel and with staffing was extremely disappointing. Me and my sister paid to stay at Boston Luxury Apartments for two nights but ended up leaving this place immediately since we realized that there was another person (unknown to us) sharing the apartment with us, although this was not revealed to us at the time of booking through Expedia. The way this place gets portrayed in Expedia website comes nowhere close to reality. In the end the manager of the building decided to reimburse me and my sister only for the second night. So, we lost the money for the first night. We had to book another hotel in downtown Boston where we felt more safe. You should be careful if you are trying to book this hotel.
