I don't really get to say because nature took its course and I got wind that the resort was destroyed before my friend and I could come to Jamaica for the first time

I do have to say everything was beautiful in the way that we were taken care of the resort fees came back one of the airlines even credit our ticket but one Airline gave us a lot of problems and only gave us a credit. Not too happy that we weren't worked with the way that we needed to and that our whole trip was shut down but in the same breath Glory Be The God that he kept us from harm hurt and danger

Now if God willing we will be able to come and visit this beautiful place called Jamaica but for now we're chilling in the states

Avoid this resort! Rooms are nothing like the photos, very worn, not clean and literally falling apart.
Only bright side is the Hotel manager is very nice and the butlers are very considerate. Cleaning staff and cleaning supervisor need to be held accountable for their lack of efficiency. They are not cleaning the rooms and then when you complain they act like they can’t see the condition of the room. The laundry staff charged us $208 dollars for laundry that they did not wash. When we got our clothes back it was in the same condition as we gave it to them.
I would recommend to stay somewhere else and come to visit this property. Save your self the headache and stress. I came here for my birthday and had a horrible team from the moment I checked into my room.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay!

From start to finish, our stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The resort is perfectly located, with stunning views and easy access to local attractions. The Jamaican food was out of this world — every bite was full of flavor and authenticity.

I want to give huge shoutout to Bellboy Stephen, who went above and beyond to make sure we were always having a great time. His positive energy and dance moves were the highlight of the night.

Bartender Keino at the Altitude Rooftop Bar, kept the good vibes flowing with perfectly mixed drinks and a welcoming attitude. We also had the pleasure of chatting with lifeguard Audley (Tony), whose stories about Jamaican culture and his younger days gave us a deeper appreciation for the island.

But most of all, I want to recognize Radalfi and Demar, part of the hotel management team, for truly going the extra mile. They consistently checked in to make sure everything was perfect and that we were having the best time of our lives. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel like family, not just guests.

In fact, because of the incredible staff, we ended up extending our stay by an extra day — we simply didn’t want to leave!

We left with full hearts, big smiles, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this resort — we’ll definitely be back!

We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Several situations made us feel unwelcome staff did not serve us properly and their attitude toward us was unfriendly. Unfortunately, we also felt there were elements of discrimination involved. As visitors from Poland, we did not feel respected or treated equally. I cannot recommend this place based on our experience

This was my first time visiting Breathless, and it was simply amazing! The staff was very accommodating, very professional, the selection of food was pretty good, although we never did find oxtails. The hotel itself was beautiful outside and inside, however the room did have a few quirks. For example, the fridge was not working when we first got there, but they did send someone up to switch it out. Also, they cleaned daily, which was cool and the amenities such as the pool, the gym, the beach and coffee bar were top tier! Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to check out the rooftop restaurant because it was always booked, but the restaurant on the main level always had a variety buffet with fresh vegetables and fruits and native cuisine. We loved, our stay in Jamaica at breathless and we will definitely be back. Maybe next time we’ll try Secrets☺️

Everyone had the best time here for my 30th birthday. Great quality food and staff that went above and beyond to make our vacation special. Having access to Secrets took everything up a notch. There were minor issues with the room but the staff made sure they were addressed as soon as possible. I'll definitely be back!

My experience at Breathless Montego Bay was extremely disappointing. Both rooms I was placed in reeked of mold. When I reported the issue, the staff showed no sense of urgency or concern. I wasted an entire day trying to get relocated, only to end up moving to a completely different resort because the problem persisted.

If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and truly luxurious experience, this is not the place. The lack of responsiveness and the condition of the rooms were completely unacceptable for a resort that markets itself as upscale.

the resort is nice, my room was aged even though the property opened in 2017. the room smelled like sea and humid even with the ac on and terrace door closed. the resort is pretty boring, for the money its not as advertised. Breathless needs more adult activities and a night life.

This property did not meet my expectations. The pictures used on the website are outdated and not a true representation of the property. The room was not cleaned properly upon check in and the sheets were dirty. There was rust throughout the room and the property in general was not up to date. I ended up cancelling my stay after checking in.

Went for our honeymoon and it was amazing , the staff were very friendly and professional. The food was good and the resort was clean! Def recommend the rooftop bar if you are doing the xhale club, also the butler we had (Travis) top tier service ! He was great! Overall the resort is beautiful, you can also visit the secrets side as well!

My room had a stinch that smelled of mildew. Room service (cleaning) would turn the. A/C high after cleaning the room. When I would return to my room always freezing. The electric curtains wouldn’t work all the time. Throughout the night the different lights throughout the room would come on by themselves. Food portions were small so you had to order continuously. The People were Great. Doormen Great. Front desk Great.

Breathless has fallen off this was my third time here and prob the worst. The entertainment was just bad it was like 5 people in the lobby each night bc it was so bad. The service here is a mess now. If my DND is on why is housekeeping knocking on the door at 830am??? Also the housekeepers… a mess. I’ve got mad bc the floor was moist from the balcony being open. The room service menu nightly never changes. The mini bar guy was nice. They don’t provide service as good as they used to. Theo our waiter at fishnet was awesome. The rooms need some upkeep this hotel cost tooo much for their to be mold on the floors and walls in xhale club rooms. The showers were a mess several things in our room did not work. They just need a overhaul and desert at Th is point

First, let me preface by saying, I love Jamaica, and this stay has not changed my high regard for JA and it’s people. I was expecting more from Breathless, having gotten married at Secrets resort in 2010, and with at least 4 subsequent stays. It was my first time staying at Breathless. The service was sub-standard. The phone in the room did not work with first day upon arrival. It took multiple phone calls from my personal cellphone and three trips to the front desk to finally get the issue resolved. The technician was wonderful. The room was not well cleaned, as you could still see the soap residue and scum on the shower glass. The day prior to departure, the room was not cleaned at all. My husband informed the housekeeper, who was cleaning two rooms from ours that our room had not been cleaned and we needed fresh towels and wash cloths. She said, she would see what she can do. Letter that evening after, we went to the front desk and requested fresh towels, only to return to an uncleaned room with no clean towels. Frustrated, we decided to endure throughout the night and call in the morning to request clean towels. My husband did, and we finally received some clean hand towels prior to leaving. Overall, very disappointing stay and we have no intention of ever returning to this property. Perhaps they are understaffed. The property has significant deferred maintenance.

Had higher expectations for a resort bearing the Breathless name. To suggest that this is a 5 star option is almost laughable. The literal only justification for it, in my opinion, is the fact that you're granted access the the Secrets properties as well which are of far higher caliber. It wasn't all bad. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable and there was certainly enough to do around the clock to keep one entertained (not for the faint of heart).. but the resort lacked tremendously both in quality of cuisine and the overall upkeep of the resort.. wooden walkways are rickety and easy to splinter (my wife and I were both knicked by this), tiles in/ around the pool are coming undone, things hung in the hallways are crooked or falling off the walls and just look awful overall, and while the room seems equipped with lots of convenient \"techy\" updates, almost none of them worked in our room. I would give the resort a 3.5 if I'm being brutally honest.

I was highly disappointed. For the amount of money I spent for two rooms, I could have gotten something better. The rooms were not ready at checkin in. When we finally got into the rooms, there weren’t cleaned thoroughly, it was as if they rushed it. The rooms were musty, floors were swept, shower glass was grimy. It was just uncomfortable. The view outside was construction. Smt. And no one called prior to to let us know construction was going on. I was annoyed completely. The pictures advertised were the sister property. It was just frustrating. I was completely let down and highly upset for the amount of money paid for nothing to be up to par. I was embarrassed for the company I brought with me after speaking so highly of the property.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price

I recently stayed at Breathless Montego Bay, and unfortunately, I left feeling that the resort is extremely overpriced for what it offers. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the resort lacks proper organization and planning. We were immediately hit with long waits, especially for dinner, where we waited over an hour to be seated at one of the restaurants.

As for the food, it didn’t live up to the hype. It was decent but nothing special, especially considering the high prices. For a luxury all-inclusive, I expected much better quality and variety. The lack of attention to detail in the dining experience was evident, and it didn’t help that the staff seemed uninterested in making sure guests were comfortable or satisfied. In fact, asking for anything felt like a hassle, with some staff members acting as though you were bothering them.

The overall customer service was lackluster. At a resort of this caliber, you expect a welcoming and attentive environment, but instead, it felt like they were just going through the motions. Whether it was at check-in, dining, or simply asking for assistance, the service was cold and unhelpful.

The resort itself is decent and offers some nice amenities, but honestly, it doesn’t justify the steep price tag. There are plenty of other resorts in the area that offer better service, food, and overall value. I wouldn’t recommend Breathless Montego Bay unless you’re prepared to pay a premium

Upon arrival my husband and I felt very welcomed at Breathless Resort. We felt safe and what really stuck out was the hospitality shown from the staff. The food was DELICIOUS, we have no complaints regarding this property. Everyone was professional and efficient and we are already planning our trip back for next year. Btw, Stretch who does the live entertainment at Breathless is such a kind soul, we had a blast throughout our entire stay! Ps, please bring water shoes for the beach due to the rocks. We love Breathless Montego Bag!
