We stayed for 1 night here. The front desk staff was absolutely incredible! They did everything to accommodate my family's stay and we so much appreciated it.
The room we stayed in was comfortable and it was perfect for our group. The location is such a winner. We were able to visit the Hip Strip and do some shopping and sight seeing and were minites from the airport so we never had to rush. My husband ordered food from the restaurant at the hotel and it was delicious. Will definitely visit again soon.

Room very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Pools were very clean and sun beds clean and comfortable. Wi-fi was excellent. But T.V. Was very complicated to find a channel that worked. Airport shuttle driver was knowledgeable and friendly, was excellent service. I would recommend and will stay a few days longer next year.

We stayed here after our flight was cancelled after a snow storm in the north east (USA) . We ended up being stranded in MoBay for 3 nights longer and Tobys was a great place. Very clean, cold ac, clean rooms, clean property, pool and restaurant. Also basically located on the hip strip. Security at the front gate at night was also nice and appreciated. Everything was pretty perfect to be honest. Would stay here again for a night before or after a flight. Not for an entire trip.

Toby’s is in the perfect location! Its about a 5-10 min drive from the Airport and right at the end of the Montego Bay Hip Strip. You have access to public beaches like Fletchers and private beaches like Doctors Cave) unlimited food options, shoppings, the BEST nightlife (Pier 1, Margaritaville, Taboo, Casino, 27/27) and more. The Staff is exceptional!!! Im Jamaican born in America and literally stayed in most hotel options in the area and Toby’s staff is #1. They aren’t being kind for tips, they genuinely interested in you and your stay. They make you feel like family. I traveled with my mom and my two year old who ran the entire property numerous times a day. Even the guest felt like family. Once you past the front hall you’re in “Community Toby”. They deserve so much recognition. From front desk staff to security to the servers, bartenders, cleaners everyone. Thank you for an amazing few days. With all that being said.. OWNERS DO BETTER! This place has so much potential but EXTREMELY outdated. The rooms do not come with a irons, one room has a full and twin bed, the pool area is still in the 1980s. Hotels can esthetically pleasing and still provide the comfortable low key vibe that I believe “Community Toby” looks for. Cleaning was a bit of an issue as well. I don’t want to say much on that but do better! Overall, Toby’s feels like home. I like to stick to the rivers and waterfalls that Im use to so Ill definitely be back!

I cannot express how much I love Toby’s! The staff and location are unbeatable! Rooms are average but clean and the bed was comfy, equipped with working AC/mini fridge, we even got to watch Netflix! We also loved hanging out on the balcony.
The whole place is painter in the cutest color, and there is even a mural for photo ops! One of my pillow cases were dirty. (This happened twice). The shower knob had issues once but it ended up working. The fire stick was not for if you didn’t have your own account. I was able to watch from whoever previous accounts were on there; however if it exceeded the limit of who was watching I couldn’t watch a show. No local tv stations which was unfortunate; not even the news. No free Netflix or anything so would not be able to enjoy tv. No microwave or complementary bottled water (even just two bottles for the whole stay would have been nice). The pool was dirty, I didn’t see any filters and there was always a constant film on top of the water so I never got in. No body wash and we didn’t get more hand soap until the day prior to leaving.

It was a nice resort the food was a 10/10. i only didn’t like the Alfredo it was sweet. The food is no more than 20$. The only problem I had was the house cleaning staff tried to steal my wood I left on the balcony in the ashtray. She said she threw it away. I asked can she look for it or can you give me the bag to look. She came back with the wood which was not dirty or looked like it was in the trash. So I recommend not leaving anything out.

I chose this hotel based on positive reviews, so my experience upon arrival was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff were far from welcoming. We stood waiting for close to 45 minutes just to be acknowledged, and when we attempted to get assistance, one staff member responded with a rude and dismissive attitude. Their behavior was less than desirable, unaccommodating, and lacked even basic customer service skills. At one point, I asked for an iron and felt as though I was begging the front desk staff to do their job, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable.
On a positive note, the facility itself was clean, and the food in the restaurant on Christmas Day was good. We were also greeted by the owner, whose demeanor was warm, nurturing, and genuinely welcoming—an experience that stood in stark contrast to the front desk staff.

I stayed there many times over the past 15 years at this time the front desk was not very helpful. I had booked a pick up at the airport when I got to the airport and I called them. They said they didn’t have call or my email, which is false cause I have the email in front of me that said that they would have somebody pick me up. They also said they didn’t even have a driver there so I needed to find my own driver and could do that and pay no more than $15 so I was a little disappointed in that customer service. And then I needed more than two towels in the bathroom because there were two of us and they said that they only give a towel per person in the room And so I was a little disappointed in that too. In the past, though, we’ve been very happy with the customer service at this time one of the ladies at the front desk was really, and maybe it was two of them over the 24 hours we had stayed there Really not helpful at all, which is why I’m writing this has just an average.
