I loved that it was for the solo traveler. The reviews and pictures matched what was actually there. Nothing was a secret or surprise. The bed was comfy the room I do wish had a little more room to be able to move just a little bit easier like turning around and going back and forth. Overall if I know anyone solo traveling and staying in the bowery area I will recommend this place. Also the staff was beyond helpful and no question ever felt like it was a bother to them. They also had security over the weekend at night time which added to my comfort as wellcas statying on an all female floor. There is NO ELEVATOR -so be mindful. If you forget a blow dryer they have two downstairs with the extra showers and toilets.

I did not realize how strict the rules are for your bedroom. No food, no talking on your phone, etc. within your own room. And there was no ceiling, it was similar to a dressing room where every room could hear what the room next to you was doing. It didn't feel like there was any privacy.

The staff is super sweet. The rooms are cozy and clean. The bathrooms and showers are always clean and there’s always enough bathrooms and showers that are available so you don’t feel like it’s crowded even though it’s shared. The only drawback is that there is no coffee machine in the building, which is something that the management could easily add to the lounge downstairs. Also, the windows aren’t properly sealed so when it’s cold, you have cold air coming into the room. Honestly, I absolutely enjoyed it. The location for the price is perfect. Easy access to buses and trains. Front desk team is super kind and chill and helpful.

I had such a good stay! There is a lot of shops and places to eat near by! The room it self and the place is super good for solo traveling or short stay. I was out the entire day so it was very convenient for me to just get in and go to bed and be all out again!

Don't expect a traditional hotel- but for a pod style hotel, the price is fair, the location is excellent, and there are thoughtful touches like white noise machines and sleep masks in every "cabin". The bed was comfortable and facilities were clean - perfect if you're looking only for a place to sleep while in the city.

The hotel overall isn’t ideal.

The rooms are very small. People traveling in the lower quarters of the Titanic had more room to walk around than these rooms. The beds themselves are ok at best with the mattresses not being entirely sturdy.

I have two egregious issues with the hotel. One being the open ceilings where you can hear nearly everything everyone is doing. The hotels solution to that is giving you a noise machine for each room? Give me a break. With the open ceilings you can’t make a phone call at all or play something without the use of headphones. The other issue is no food allowed in the room. I understand some people aren’t clean and do not pick up after themselves, but if this is the reason why it’s a poor reason.

Everything ok during my stay, it is indeed a very small space but very comfortable. The light of the mini desk wasn’t working, there was two switches on the side: one for the light on the bed and I’m assuming the other one for the desk but that one didn’t work at all. The showers were amazing and the fact that they give you a towel, a shower bag and a rob and they got shampoo, conditioner and body cream I believe it was, it’s amazing. Definitely worthy and I’m staying again.

The hostel was nice and clean and easy to find. Be ready to walk up lots of steep steps and for there to be lots of noise at night from people going in and out of their rooms. The locks are extremely loud and difficult to keep steady sleep around. The room was also way too warm most nights which also made it difficult to sleep. I felt safe and the staff was nice.

Almost everything was great. It was my first stay and I will definitely return. It is the best hostel-style accomodation in the city.

There are a couple of things I hope they can address. The toilets don't flush very well so there are always remnants (mostly toilet seat covers and toilet paper) left behind and it doesn't really matter how many times you flush. The other thing is that there should be more hooks in the Now or Never rooms. I know that they advertise that this is a perk of a "Premium" room. However, the Now or Never rooms are the largest and putting two or three more hooks in the room would not cost much. I understand they may not want to cover the artwork, but functionality outweighs artwork. There were two hooks, one for my towel and the other for the robe. No hook for a coat, etc. By the way, the robes are great. It actually fit me, a larger woman, and provided robes usually do not. Overall, a great place. Not perfect, but great.

Stayed the 6th of December 2025 for a weekend. Great & safe place as a female traveler. Beds were very comfy, rooms & bathrooms were sufficient. Robes & slippers & eye mask & all the extras were a nice touch, including free tampons in restroom. Price was excellent. Within walking distance of everything. We covered 15 miles in 2 days! Lots of restaurants within walking distance & open late. Felt very safe out, but I was with my husband. I was on the 3rd floor, he was on the 4th. I booked him months ahead. I unexpectedly was able to have the weekend off & booked myself at now now as well. No regrets! I slept well, temperature was a little warm for us but a fan is helpful to travel with. I did hear doors Opening & shutting but it's expected especially if you need to use the restroom. Everyone including guests were very friendly and respectful. They had security outside the doors, its very safe.
No issues except guests who do not follow the rules. Headphones not used (maybe offer ear buds for purchase at front desk while going over the rules) & talking on the phone at 2am, ridiculously rude. Im assuming it was a language barrier as maybe they dont understand the rules at check in possibly. I did message front desk & unfortunately it wasn't addressed. Wear earplugs, some people are plain rude and just refuse to follow rules, there's always one. Definitely worth staying & id stay again.

Paper thin walls that don’t connect to the ceiling so it gets very noisy starting 6:30am until check out while people use the communal bathrooms and exit their rooms to check out. Other than that it’s decent for 1 person if you’re just using your room to sleep because they’re very small, the size of a train cabin. The manager was nice though and tried to be as accommodating as possible. The 24hr staff is a nice feature too.

The hotel was clean, good location, staff was lovely. BUT ... nowhere on Hotels.com does it mention that the rooms have open ceilings - key information if you actually expect to sleep. The photos of the property are carefully cropped. It was like staying in one large dormitory. Even with eye masks and ear plugs provided, it was impossible to ignore every door that opened and shut, every toilet flush down the hall, every late arrival who crinkled paper and zipped open their suitcase at 3am. I consider myself a solid-to-heavy sleeper, and I was forced to change hotels rather than complete a planned 5-night stay. Had the ceilings been described on the property information, I absolutely would have stayed elsewhere despite Now Now's generally high ratings. I gave an average review because, as I said, there were a lot of good things and it's not clear whose fault this was. My experience highlights a major disconnect between properties and 3rd party booking agents like Hotels.com. If the property does not provide full information (which, to be fair its own website clearly states) and the 3rd party does not independently verify what they are given, you have a situation where the guest gets a rude shock when they get to their room.

Very modern hotel that’s well located and stylish. Works well for solo travelers. It’s a little like
being in a college dorm because you have to use a communal bathroom. But it’s very clean and well-appointed. I guess if I had some minor complaints it would be that it can get a little noisy as the rooms are very close to one another and the ceilings aren’t completely enclosed. Also, this morning the shower water wasn’t getting hot, but they fixed it very quickly. I’m another 5’8”, and my feet reached the end of the bed, so if you’re taller than that, be prepared to bend your legs.

Bottom line is that’s a very utilitarian place to stay. It gets the job done, but your room is only for sleeping and dressing.

Hi l had a great stay but so disappointed with your overnight attendant he was very rude on the first day i arrived to my stay he gave me a attitude when asking questions and concerning plus to top it he have me 201 the most noisy at night when i was trying to rest I had no sleep this was very unpleasant it was my birthday gateway and my place to rest was awful, I asked the night time attendant if he had a different room I explained and he was rude again and making faces like a child and he expressed that he had only something smaller than what I paid I couldn’t not tolerated his attitude so I just said ok is fine but it really was not ok I didn’t sleep and on top there was a man talking on the cell and snoring so loud it was just a nightmare this stay , the positive was that my room was clean and the housekeeper were awesome, but the evening/ overnight attendant he should’ve been training more in customer service and be more efficient and understanding . Room overall 5/10 it was warm a plus but so noisy in 201.

This was my first experience in a hostel style hotel, and I was very happy with my stay and would do it again! I always felt safe and secure, and having the locker option to drop off my bags before and after checking in and out was fantastic. My only feedback is that it was extremely warm overnight for sleeping. The portable sound machines for each pod was a great touch. A little piece of advice - Make sure to bring a full water bottle for overnight because there isn’t anywhere to fill it on your floor. Will be back!

Conveniently located, budget-friendly, and safe, which works for me. It didn't seem to be fully booked, so it was never a problem getting to use the bathroom facilities when I needed them. However, it would have been good to know before booking that there is no elevator. My bad knee had a hard time with the two flights up to my floor (and three down to the lounge to fill my water bottle, and to go back up again). The floor was also way too warm for my comfort.

NowNow NoHo advertises that rooms are very quiet, as people can’t talk on the phone nor listen to anything without ear phones.

However, the rooms are opened in the ceiling! I will write it again: the rooms are opened in the upper part!

Unfortunately, you hear everything from your neighbors - snoring, farting, everything. This is too bad.

But the worst part, no doubt, are people slamming doors! All night long there are people slamming doors! And somehow it is almost impossible to close the doors gently. You need to push it hard in order to close completely. Didn’t they think about it, the ones who built this “quiet” hotel?!

The hotel is clean, the location is excellent, but the noise is a huge headache that the management should try to solve.

Very comfortable cabin. The only con for me is there is no elevator...so be sure you ok with walking up and down stairs. Other than that. I would recommend if you are a woman and traveling solo. I was on the 3rd floor. The showers are shared but nice and tidy.

The room was very clean and so were the showers and bathroom area. The location and price are unbeatable. Noise carries a lot as the top of the “cabins” are basically open so you can hear literally everything going on around you. And there’s no way to control the temperature - I got a bit warm overnight. But otherwise, it’s a big step up from a hostel stay and a great option for solo travelers.
