Our room was very comfortable - including the bed & pillows - and I'm very picky about those. It was wonderful to have a frig, Keurig, and microwave available. (I would suggest bringing paper plates & utensils for anyone thinking they may heat/eat something in their room because those 2 items were not provided.) The staff was helpful & friendly. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is convenient and close to the interstate and Hamburg. Our room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. Our one complaint was the overpowering scent of disinfectant in the room with a slight musty odor, maybe from the carpet? My eyes were burning...we almost asked for another room.we have stayed at this hotel in the past with no issues. Maybe the age is showing on the property.

Do not use this hotel they were extremely rude and had zero customer service. I called in to cancel and was told no problem, but then they played a game and refused to refund or cancel even though I was told over the phone otherwise. Extremely upsetting snd shows their lack of care for customers. I would put my money into a different hotel that cares and valued customers.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel - we reserved a suite thinking it would be a large one room with a divider separating the bedroom from the sitting area. This room was massive! We had two full rooms in this suite - a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, sink and coffee maker, a living room with lots of seating (including a sleeper sofa) and a bedroom with a king bed and another sleeper sofa, the bathroom was very spacious. We didn’t use the amenities- that’s why I only gave 3 stars there. The Japanese restaurant in the lobby smelled wonderful whenever we walked by. We did have a drink there but didn’t have an opportunity to eat there. But the drinks were very good and the decor was beautiful. Greatstay, would recommend.

Very seldom hotels have a microwave and a fridge in the room, so I appreciate that. I love that they use Dove for their bathroom amenities. The location is nice - lots of dining options including Osaka in the hotel, an entertainment complex right next to, a Graeter's, etc. Furnishings in the room as sufficient. I wish there was overhead lighting on the headboard for bedtime reading. Room is spacious. I do miss having a hot tub. Stairwell does not extend to the first floor so you are forced to use the elevator even going down for breakfast or just going out. Only two sets of elevators, but they come fast, you don't have to wait long. All in all I am very happy with this choice

Stayed here for daughters UK graduation weekend. The shower only had hot/warm water the morning of 5/9 and was cold on 5/10. We switched rooms hoping that the water issue would change. It was still ice cold on 5/11. We also didn't realize there was no continental breakfast that we've always had when staying at any other Holiday Inn. Were told at the front desk on 5/9 that if we had paid for breakfast. we would have received tickets for it when we checked in. When I made the reservation, I don't recall being given the option to include breakfast.

Stayed for 5 days - did not have hot water during the stay.
Pool was closed for maintenance the entire time.
Limited room service - did not replace towels or in room coffee pods.
On a positive note - the front desk was always willing to help. But the hot water and pool situation was just out of their control.

We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. First, we did not receive the room we booked. We reserved a king bed but were given a room with double beds. When we called the front desk, we were told there were no other rooms available, so we had no choice but to stay in that room.

The bigger issue was that we had no hot water. When we reported it, we were told to let the water run for 10 to 15 minutes, which is not normal. The staff member was not very helpful and acted like this was standard. We followed her instructions, but the water never got warm. When we called back, she seemed frustrated but moved us to another room.

Unfortunately, the new room also had double beds instead of a king and still had no hot water. It appeared to be on the same system, so the issue continued. This caused a lot of stress as we had plans and a schedule to keep.

We were told we would receive 20% off our stay, and later were told it would be increased due to the continued issues. However, at checkout, a different employee informed us only $30 had been taken off, which was not even the promised 20%, and nothing additional was honored. She said she was unable to adjust it further.

What’s most concerning is that the hotel was very busy, yet guests were not being informed about the lack of hot water. That is a major issue. If there is a known problem, guests should be notified so they can make other arrangements.

The location is great, but stay elsewhere if you want what you pay for

Nice facility, well maintained and awesome location within walking distance to great restaurants, but logistically NOT UP TO STANDARD OF SERVICE. Pool was never in service during three day, over the weekend stay. More importantly, they were having significant plumbing troubles that seemed to be unable to resolve - poor water pressure at sink and NO HOT WATER. I took a total of three cold showers during my stay (they told tales of repairs in progress) - don’t want to repeat the experience. We’ll see if they offer any compensation for the substandard stay?? Restaurant in the facility was wonderful.

During our stay, the toilet tank in our room suddenly broke after sitting down, which caused a leak. We reported it immediately and used towels to contain the water. Despite this, we were treated as though we caused the damage, even though the break appeared to be a maintenance-related issue. I also sustained an injury from a chipped porcelain during the incident.
We were ultimately asked to leave, despite having rented a room for an additional night. The assistant manager described the room as “unacceptable” due to wet towels around the toilet, trash, and a garlic butter spill on a chair. The towels were used to clean up the leak, trash was placed in the trash can (aside from pizza boxes which did not fit), and I had separated bedding for housekeeping. When reviewing the photos together, it was unclear what conditions were considered unacceptable beyond the cleanup efforts. I did take responsibility for the chair stain.
Noise complaints were raised shortly after arrival. I was traveling with children, including one with special needs and a two-year-old. We addressed this within two hours by having a family member leave with the child who was struggling, and made every effort to minimize disruption. I do want to acknowledge that staff responded promptly to the complaints, which shows concern for other guests. Additional issues included a dirty, cold pool and non-working in-room phones, which made communication difficult.
