To start, we checked into a room on the 3rd floor. We had an event to attend so we walked in, sat our bags down, and ran right out. We got back to our room a little after midnight where we did a thorough check and realized our room was nowhere near clean. There was toothpaste left in the bathroom sink from the person before and crusty body fluids on the blankets that had clearly not been washed. I contacted someone over the phone who advised me to go to the front desk. There we were met with Shawn, who when we explained the situation nicely and told him we would prefer new blankets (which was posted on the walls that we could request at any time) or a new room was very disrespectful and just kept saying “well the room was cleaned so I don’t know what you all did” and when we insisted we hadn’t been in the room long enough to do anything he asked “well who do you think went into your room?” We didn’t think anyone had-the room was just not clean. He then put us in room 133-very hatefully I might add where we proceeded to stay for our first night. We went to the room, inspected the bed, and immediately crashed. The next morning my wife woke me up and informed me that we had no hot water, and additionally there was mold all over the bathroom door. I went back to the front desk where manager Avery assisted us in getting a third room. She was very nice and apologetic for the issues had with Shawn. We got to our third room which was an improvement from the first 2 but still dirty.

Well they cancelled my room without notifying me OR hotels.com. I found this out only after waiting at the front desk for 10+ min (there was a sign saying they were helping other guests and would return in 10min). I finally yelled out for someone and they appeared and they said the GM canceled my room due to my credit card being declined, however, on my hotels.com receipt it says “due at property”. Why was a card charged prior?? They also said that there was no phone number attached to my reservation which I find extremely hard to believe. Mind you, without even stepping into the building, we saw multiple people appearing to be partying in the parking lot, small children running around unsupervised, loud music playing. Ultimately this place clearly has sketchy and unprofessional operations. One of those “you get what you pay for” situations.

We had booked this hotel and had chosen the option to pay at site . The day of we tried logging in to see if we could pay online and there wasn’t a option to , we get to the hotel and we were informed our reservation had been cancelled bc the place was sold out they had tried to pull the payment the day before and were unable to and where it didn’t require a ph# on file they didn’t have one to call but they had my email . Said they were unable to contact me and cancelled our stay and our room had been taken . Ridiculous considering it said “pay at site “ regardless of it selling out it wasn’t in the description and like I mentioned they could’ve emailed me .

Staying at woodsprings was like staying at a lockdown facility They only allow 1 device on wifi. They will only give you one key u lose it they want 10 dollars. They only change out towels once a week. The staff treats people like they are in some type of program. The vending machines will rob u and they won't do anything about it. It was terrible.

The property is fine in itself. Room, security and parking. They have vending machines but no ice machines. The room I stayed at the hot water was not working, no iron and iron board, the toilet was shaking it felt like it’s going to fall with you when sitting down. They have a big fridge and a stove. The room was cleaned.

Very good option for a reasonably priced hotel stay in Lexington, KY. Staff is always friendly and helpful and location is convenient, close to main roads and shopping/dining. It's not the newest property nor does it offer the most amenities----but the rooms are spacious and have a fridge, stovetop and microwave. TV package is pretty good----most of the channels you want for a short stay. They don't have the amenities that more expensive hotels have, but this is a good option for sure. Two things I would like to see are larger, fluffier pillows----or the same pillows, but more of them, maybe six per room instead of two. And in the lobby, free coffee. There aren't coffeemakers in the rooms, and I didn't see an option for coffee in the lobby area. I would even be happy with a vending machine to get a cup of coffee. I think they have an option to get a coffee maker for your room----but for a short stay, I only want a cup in them morning, so it would not be worth it to rent the coffee maker. I ended up driving to a nearby Burger King to get coffee. There's also a gas station and Bob Evans nearby. But having coffee on site would be great, even if you had to pay for a cup. All in all, a nice place and I'll visit again.

Horrible! Before I talk about the horrible things, I do want to mention how clean the room was. The sheets and towels were clean. Now lwtlet me tell you why it was horrible. The water was shut down on the toilet. Toilet not sitting on the base, leaked and rocked.
There were people partying in the parking lot with drugs and alcohol with music blaring! People upstairs stomped around until 3am.

After a 9 hour drive, we got about 3 hours of sleep! Never again!

Room was gross. Beds and floors were clean but the bathroom was dirty and the bathroom door didn’t latch. When we went to check in there was no one there and a sign that said they would be back in 10min. Another guest got in line behind us and said the sign was there when they tried to check in earlier. We called the numbers provided and no one answered. Finally someone showed up, then the check in process was easy. The common areas smelled very strongly of marijuana, luckily the room did not. The other guests were very loud making sleeping difficult. Especially the motorcycle getting revved up at 1:18am. That was a rude awakening. If we had to wait any longer to check in we were going to a different hotel. We were searching for nearby hotels while waiting.

The staff were over worked. Took forever to get checked in. Then no ice machine. In all my years of traveling I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't have an ice machine. Second no black out curtains in the room. Not curtains at all. Just cheap white blinds. I'll never stay at that hotel again. It was ridiculous.

The hotel was not nice at all. I didn’t feel safe there. There were holes punched in the doors of my room. The room wasn’t clean.. I had to sign a paper saying I wouldn’t smoke in the room (which I don’t smoke at all) and a woman was smoking with her giant pit bull when the elevator doors opened on my floor. I immediately left the property but still had to pay for the first night even though I was there less then 15 minutes.

First thing to know, this is more of a long term live-in facility than a traditional hotel. The room was clean, had a full size refrigerator, microwave and stovetop.

Staff was nice. Note that they do not have 24 hour desk coverage, but they do have a number you can call if you need to reach someone. The parking lot was pretty well lit. At no point did i feel unsafe.

For the cost, i was fine with it. Next time in in town, I'll pay a little more elsewhere, but for folks who are just looking for a cheap bed for a night, this is a good way to save money.

The cable didn't work and would disconnect every few seconds. I saw bugs crawling around the room several times. My wife is making me keep my luggage in the garage overnight because she is worried about bringing bugs into our house from this hotel. One of the pillows had a big brown stain on it. I stayed for 3 nights (everywhere else was booked up) and the only time housekeeping came by was literally 20 minutes before I checked out. The management needs to have them come by every other day at least. You are better off sleeping in your car than staying here.

The room stank. The wifi, advertised as free, was only available for one device, and then after being on hold for 30 minutes with an outside vendor. The clerk was pleasant but dismissive. The room had an apt size fridge, and stovetop, and a microwave, but you had to buy a coffee maker? The bed was hard and the pillows were flat. One bed was so close to the wall it made it nearly inaccessible on one side. This one is now on my ‘never again’ list.

When we entered the room, it stunk. Once we turned on the AC and aired it out a bit, it was tolerable. The WiFi gave continuous errors with a number to call. After being on hold for 20 minutes, we finally spoke to a human being. Only one device could access the WiFi with paying extra. The desk clerk was dismissive about the whole issue. “Yeah, that’s what happens. There nothing I can do about it.”
The bed was hard and the pillows were flat. One of the beds was so close to the wall, you could barely access that side of the bed.
Overall, a bad experience. We are checking this one in the ‘never again’ column.

The manager on duty had to leave the desk to see if the room I had reserved was clean because the assist manager hadn’t done that earlier that day. House keeping came after check in to bring toilet paper. I have never stayed at a hotel that did not have a blow dryer in the bathroom and the description when booking did not indicate this was an extended stay. I would not have booked it And someone tried to enter my room the next morning while I was still in bed before check out

GM two faced

Loved it the staff with ONE MAJOR EXCEPTION. The GM, she was awful, disrespectful, rude. And underhanded, liar.i was staying for a job change snd getting to transfer. I had paid up to be current and I let her know my sponsor was going to pay all they needed ri talk to her and set up as third party. She told me she would have me check out and she would make a different reservation and it would be ready when i came back my sponsor would have paid it for another week, I went to put money on my card for other expenses. When I arrived back she was gone ( conveniently) and told staff I was not welcome and could no longer use that particular hotel. And police wound be called. I work federally and I turned all this information in for my department and now any choice hotel will not be recommended. And will pay for any employee to stay at any. And any one they send to Lexington Ky also will not stay there. I’ve been informed she’s had many many complaints and nothing done which to me mean you do not care for any costumer. I demanded a refund and was hung up three times by the GM and called the corporate company they also not helping so my supervisor will have choice hotel and woodspring on the band list

The room was extremely dirty and the furniture was peeling. I have the pics to prove it.
Also, the internet was not available in the TWO! times we stayed in your hotels. The rude person up front said that we would need to call IT support ourselves to get it fixed. Your website advertised free WiFi and that was a lie.
We will not be using your brand anymore. We will make sure the word gets around. I can reassure you that not a single person from our family and friends will use your hotels. The worse experience ever.

I checked Out 4 days early. I was in room over 8 days. They would change sheets or bedding. Wouldn’t mop or clean. I took garbage out twice. The room had airborne worms in there. I went to doctor and got medication. I went to a different hotel. I need credit for days I left early.

Does the job for a night but we were told it was a non smoking hotel and the previous tenants to our room at some point definitely smoked in the room because you can smell it. Other than that, check in was easy and good hotel for the price.

If you want it, you better bring it.

Not a typical hotel, mostly longer term low rent accommodations. Great if you have a dog and don’t require any of the typical niceties you find elsewhere. Has a stove and refrigerator but no cookware, plates, silverware, etc. you need to bring your own.

I liked the property and amenities so mucg that I was making sure I had the money together every week so that I could renew my room. The main manager and the assistant manager are very rude and inconsiderate and think they are akways rihht regardless of the proof against their claims... im homeless and 14 weeks pregnant and have a 17 year old senior ANXIETY ESA jack Russell ans they kicked me out because when they did room checks (that i was never notified about) they accused me of smoking in the room only because they said that they could smell it. I AM A CIGARETTE SMOKER IM GINNA SMELL LIKE CIGARETTES. I had just come back in from smoking outside so of course standing right next to me you are going to smell it. I have no where to go i would not even consider risking losing my place to stay just to smoke. I would not risk the possibility of having to sleep outside. Bit they refused to listen and were very rude.
