The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was safe and quiet except for the last morning it was there when someone downstairs had some music playing at 5 am. There is no real breakfast. You can get prepackaged muffins or granola bars in the lobby along with coffee or hot tea.The bed was extra firm but I didn't mind. This was a business related trip and as a solo female traveler I would stay here again.

Yes, our pet was welcome but the smells! The lobby smelled of marijuana, our room smelled like dead fish on the 2nd floor, and my mom's floor (1st) floor had a stench that literally made me gag. We are pretty tolerant because of the low price but I would never stay at that place again.

The property was sufficient for our stay.of a couple of days at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was like a light snack and not a continental breakfast. There was kitchen sink, 4 burner stove, apartment size refrigerator and microwave. Also, per your request you could ask for other kitchen supplies listed on a card in the room. I was able to request a room without having to walk up steps due to medical issue. No walk in shower just step in tub. 1 lounge chair, and a desk type chair under the bar area. Lamps had USB hook up and 120 outlet on nightstand next to bed. Thank you for meeting our need

There were no plates, silverware or anything else in the kitchen. The front desk could not even give us a paper plate, napkin or plasticware. If the beds weren't comfortable, I would have given it a 1 star because the room was in disrepair. I was hoping that it would work out for us, since I am in that area several times a year, but we won't be back.

Dated and ever-present odor. Although not of relevance to me, I’m not sure how someone in a wheelchair can navigate this hotel. You have to walk upstairs to get to office (there is a makeshift elevator to navigate this part) but then after check in you have to walk up stairs to get to rooms and then navigate a spiral staircase to go up or down. No elevator. Upon entering the hotel it smelled like beer and old cigarettes. Not a pleasant smell. The carpets are dirty. We went to our room down the spiral staircase and the hallway and room smelled like cigarettes and shave cream. It was so strong it kept me up most of the night. The bathroom sink was water damaged so the mdf board had swelled and the inner wood was sticking out so it rubbed on our clothing or belly when brushing teeth. No hair dryer in rooms. The a/c unit was set to 70 and didn’t cool the room. It had condensation on the unit and seemed froze up. The bed was comfy but the other issues negated the comfy bed. Pets are allowed in this hotel and the neighboring room had a dog that barked at 6a until about 6:15 when its owner left the room. It’s in a safe neighborhood and the desk clerk was nice but I wouldn’t stay here again due to these conditions.

We moved here from the Days Inn, and the extended stay was overbooked, and called us asking if we were okay with moving to their sister hotel La Quinta, and we said sure! The front desk staff were so kind and if we go back to Kentucky we will book there again

We had a great stay here, the staff was very friendly, never had any issues about anything during our stay. Rooms are bug free, pet yard was nice and big. Beds are comfy. Probably one of my favorite hotels in the lexington area. The hotel gives family oriented vibes!

It's very hard to feel like the room is clean when there's obvious spots where someone spilled liquid on the wall and it wasn't cleaned up. There was also a large stain on the carpet. It's a weird building with a spiral staircase in the lobby. And the not providing paper towels or dishes in the room but having to request them is inconvenient. I get why they did that though. This \"smoke free\" facility also stank of marijuana multiple days during our stay.

While the room was clean except the mold in the tub and the toilet wouldnt flush, thr front desk gal recleaned and sanitized the tub, put up a new shower curtain. She was very nice and accomodating. The property is not really disability friendly, but we were put on the first floor so we didnt have to climb a spiral staircase.
--Did not try the grab and go breakfast.
--could use newer pillows that are not rock hard. Comfortable bed just and very small room with an odd layout.

I really liked staying here! The rooms are a little outdated and theres no elevator, but its only 3 floors and super affordable for those staying just for a weekend. Breakfast was served VERY early, like 4:30-9am is what they told us at the desk, but other than that it was great!

As bad as I hate to leave such a terrible review, I have to. As soon as I got to the bottom of the stair case to the hall, all I could smell was body odor and weed!! Then when I got inside my room i opened the refrigerator and seen it hadn’t been cleaned out. Several different things inside including milk, coffee creamer, ketchup, eggs and butter. Then went to the bathroom and seen a dirty razor in the shower and lots of hair at the bottom of the shower. It was clear that this room had not been cleaned!! The only thing that appeared to be clean was the sheets on the bed. Even the floors had crap on them. I am very disappointed with this hotel and will never stay here again.

It was cheap, but not worth the money.

I appreciated the staff, they were friendly and helpful, but the property was run down, dirty, smelly, and the walls were thin. There was a lot of cat hair, the chair had so, so much cat hair. The drawer in the kitchen was broken. We were on vacation and passing through for a couple days, but it was not relaxing at all so we checked out after the first night. We’re a simple couple and don’t require much, and I hate to say it but it this was just terrible.

The only good thing I'd say was the staff. Friendly and attentive. Room however was terrible. Countertop was taped up with a duct tape, and a large crack was in the shower. Floors and rolling chair were extremely dirty, dresser beat up and there was a hole in the wall. Linens and bed sheets were the only thing that made us stay in the room. Room smelled like there were smokers before. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We were embarrassed to bring our daughter to the hotel that we came to see for the parent weekend.

Hotels like this should be removed from all rental search engines and their city license to operate revoked until they fix the property. It is a shame that places like this advertise because they do not meet the basic standards of comfort, cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
The room was dirty and smelly, carpet was very dirty and nasty, furniture was old, breakfast to go was a joke, worse coffee ever, a peanut butter cereal bar that tasted rancid, and old smashed muffin that a dollar tree store will have better quality.
The least I can say, HORRIBLE, stay away, spend you $ in a place that is worth your pennies; don't trust the good reviews, I don't doubt that they pay someone to write something positive

The floors were super dirty and sticky that i had to go ask for a broom and mop so i could clean it myself. They gladly let me use it out of the maintenance closet. There wasn't even soap to clean the floor with. There is dust build up on the top side of the electrical outlets. Under the bed probably hasn't ever been cleaned. The first 2 nights the Marijuana smell was so bad in our room we had to have the window open.

I booked this hotel for my daughter and her 2 friends. My daughter just graduated that day from college and her friends were from out of town. When they entered the room, it smelled like heavy cigarette smoke, the window was wide open and the smoke detector was covered up with a bath towel. Not to mention the pillow cases and sheets had stains on them. This is a NON SMOKING room and it even stated you will be fined if caught smoking! Needless to say, they did not stay at this hotel.

I checked in but didn't stay the night. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and the cot-like beds were crammed in together leaving little walking space. Everything in the room was old, well used and it was just dark and dreary. Not at all like website. Very uncomfortable with the entire feel of the place. Did not feel safe. Apparently, I can't get a refund.
Other locations may be great but this one was creepy.

My room had an odd odor upon entering. After a few hours of running the air conditioner, the smell seemed to be better. The traffic noise was very noticeable at night. The room was clean, but the hallways and stairwells were not. This facility showed signs of age and deterioration.

We found the front desk staff to be very friendly and polite. The outside of the hotel was clean, however we found the hallways and the room to lack cleanliness regarding carpeting. The kitchen floor was sticky. The rooms and bathrooms are outdated and the shower curtain was moldy. The noise level above us (we were on the 2nd floor) was like elephants trotting around until after 3 AM. The back door going into the building was propped open with the outdoor rug on multiple occasions (we removed the prop everytime we found it).

We had stayed at this hotel before and although it’s an older hotel, it was convenient because of the kitchenette and cheap! However, this time was different. We checked into the hotel and found our room on the 1st floor, aka downstairs. As soon as we got down there, the smell was nauseating. The whole floor just smelled, funky? Just not a clean, welcoming smell.

We get to our room and as soon as I open the door, there’s the bathroom. DIRTY. Sink, gross. Toilet, disgusting. Shower, full of dust and what-not and no shower curtain? THIS IS FIRST GLANCE.

Go into the room, the bed isn’t made. Pillows on the countertops. DOG HAIR ALL OVER THE BED. Look down, cat LITTER, all over the floor. I mean, EVERYWHERE.

The kitchenette was falling apart. Drawers hanging on for dear life, mold under the sink. It made my skin crawl!

Here’s the BEST PART! We go to the front fest with our issue, THE HOTEL IS BOOKED. So now we’re screwed. Hotels.com won’t put us in another hotel because that’s “not their policy” and the hotel can’t do anything because they’re packed. Not only that, but the lady working the front desk immediately refunded us, leaving us with zero options. No one spoke to us, tried to help, NOTHING. Every room, was GONE and they left us high and dry with no where to go.

I’ve yet to see a single dollar in refund… This was Tuesday. 5/30/23 and it’s now 6/6/23 and I have yet to see a dime!

I got to the hotel after they confirmed my reservation. I walked in and was told they had no rooms available and didnt even try and help me. I called and got another room from hotels.com . After waiting 3 hours i finally am in a room. I am really disappointed and disgusted over this.

My non smoking room smelled like smoke so bad that it was unbearable. I can’t even be sure my sheets were clean because the bed and pillows smelled to. The vending machines were out of order. The bed was lumpy.
BUT, all I needed was a place to lay my head at night which ultimately is what I had.

This was a nice area to stay at. Parking in front and back of property was properly illuminated. Friendly staff and a clean lobby. My only complaint was the smell of weed in the 3rd floor I stayed in. I didn't want that smell on my clothes!! Fortunately the smell didn't go through my door but only stayed in their room or hallway so I rested easy in the room. No noise to report as it was a nice and quiet place to stay at.

Loved the kitchenette. I’ll include pics of the meal we prepared in it with all the dishes provided by the hotel. Great location. There was a single hair on the shower wall but it was fine. I just got it with a piece of tissue. Clean and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t much. Muffins, oatmeal and nature valley bars. But it was a clean area and the coffee was good.

We DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! THE NIGHT MANAGER OPENED OUR DOOR WITH KEY W/O ANNOUNCING HERSELF With an ACCOMPLICE @ 1:30 in the morning WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP!!! We ALWAYS BLOCK THE DOOR FOR SAFETY MEASURES. So when they opened the door- the chair CRASHED TO THE FLOOR WITH A LOUD NOISE. They ran away down the hall and to the lobby via hallway exit door!(THIS MEANS THEY WERE UP TO NO GOOD & WERE PROBABLY PLANNING ON ROBBING US OR WORSE!) Being we weren’t dressed to run after the PERPS- we called the desk to complain of the break in…. The night mgr said it was her that opened the door- supposedly there was a complaint of lots of noise( we were dead asleep at the time!!) then why didn’t she announce her self and stay at the door and tell us it was a complaint of lots of noise??? Because she was lying that’s why! We call the police to file a complaint about the break-in and when she heard that ,she threatened to throw us out of the hotel room in the middle of the night!! I guess she figured since we were 65 years old we would be afraid but she picked on the wrong people. Of course she had a different story for the police-said someone had called For help they had fallen in the tub. Well it wasn’t us that fell in the tub -another lie! in the morning we complain to the day manager, who did nothing about the employee that entered our room-Just said she shouldn’t have done that Likewise she shouldn’t have threatened us either! We checked out and left that horrible hotel!

The staff was great super friendly but the hotel needs an upgrade asap. Everything is old. The carpet in the room super nasty, it had red stains all over and the smell in the room was pretty bad. Weed smell everywhere. The stairs going to the parking lot very dirty.
