The room was mostly clean, but the mattress on the bed next to the window sags so badly that you can't sit on the side of it without falling to the floor. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles on the wall were empty & had been squeezed so much, they were dented.

The lady at check-in was on her cell phone having a full conversation about finding a man \"Butt-naked in the bathtub because he just got too hot\". I had to stand there and listen to this conversation while trying to check in.

They boast a \"RARE FIND-BREAKFAST BUFFETT\" on the site. It's a continental breakfast with bagels, toast, corn flakes, eggs, and burned sausage.

The pool looked nice, but we were there for a hospital visit at UK for my brother's oncologist.

The night clerk was rude for one. Came in the lobby it smelled real stale of mildew & cigarettes. Went to my room the smell was stronger, went in observed the room and pulled back the covers and seen bed bugs and on the wall by the bed. Went to tell the clerk that I wanted to cancel the room and she said I had to go through Hotels.com to get my refund back. Would never recommend no one to stay here when they are in Lexington, KY.

Emergency exit door on the pool end of the hotel on the first floor would not open from the inside. This is a major safety issue. Sunday night we had no hot water. Had to take a cold shower. Breakfast was very good and the person taking care to be sure everything was stocked at breakfast worked very hard and did a good job. All personell were very nice and accommodating to our needs (getting clean towels). Please address safety issue.

I would stay here as a last resort. Unclean bathroom conditions including what looked like nlood stain in toilet, stains on phones, desk, windows that I had to clean. Blown out light bulbs in lamp, not enough towels left for all guests or pillows, sheets sets. I was told by the front desk clerk these issues were being noted and I would be reached out to by management to be comped for stay especially since they did not have another room to put us in and it HAS NOT HAPPENED after almost a week. When I called to get resolved what sounded like a rude young and very unprofessional woman picked up the phone and was so nasty I had to hang up. Do not go here. You deserve a better place to lay your head at night after a road trip

I stayed there Friday night and when I was driving home I started itching. I have a rash on both arms in multiple locations and a little patch on face, neck. I called and left message for a manager. I don’t know if this is bed bugs or carpet beetles. The carpet on the stairs looked to be very old but the room itself was updated. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced this from a hotel.

I did not eat the breakfast- but- everyone else seemed happy. I smelled good. Parking was very easy. The room was clean- comfortable and thoughtfully organized. Most importantly everything workedwat- heat - air- plenty of hot water and towels. And amazinglythe little fridge and microwave were clean- new - and worked perfectly- unlike other properties ive stayed at. The little table with chairs was a nice touch. A clean not wirn out blanket was folded neatly in the closet- it was 30 degrees in the morning n the 2nd of May. The only items that might be improved .would be widening the doorway to the elevator. It is difficult to get the very unique and perfect luggage carrier into the elevator. Yes the building did show a little wear and tear on the way up to the room and lobby area. But- for someone who was very tired coming in- it was an extremely pleasant experience overall. I will definitely come back. Thank you for my pleasant experience.

The hotel needs a major renovation. It looks shabby because of chipped wood, chipped doors, and general cosmetic disrepair. Our room smelled musty, and we had to run the AC to mitigate it. The hotel is in a great location, and with a few improvements and a little TLC, it could be much better. On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was very good, and the staff was very nice.

The windows are only single pane. We could hear people talking in the parking lot and we were staying on the third floor. We couldn't hear people in the room next to us.
The tub was deep slope and slick. It needs something that is non -slip on the bottom to prevent falls.

The showerhead was terrible. It took me forever to get shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. The room was nice and clean. The staff was amazing. The elevator was nasty look like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. It even had some boogers all smeared everywhere all over it. I really wanted to ask the front desk if I could take something and wipe it off. Didn’t feel very sanitary, pushing the buttons. I wish I would’ve took a picture.

Staff was good. Sausage on breakfast buffet has no taste. Only ate breakfast one morning out of three. Room was pretty good though. Bed slept good. Shower was dangerous because bottom of the tub was so slick my handicapped husband could not use. The door to the bathroom opens into room and was not easy to get wheelchair around the door to get into bathroom. If you aren’t handicapped, I guess it would be better. Was just a difficult stay since my husband fell trying to get around bathroom door with his walker. Getting him up was not easy but I managed. He is too proud to let me ask for help. I do have to say that every one I dealt with was very nice.

The room was great at first. Looked clean and comfortable. The guy that checked us in was wonderful. The next morning, they stopped all keys from opening rooms at 9 when check out isnt until 11. The woman at the front desk was rude when I asked her to help me with my keys. Decided to go for a short swim before leaving and noticed there were no towels in the pool area besides 2 hand towels. Asked the same woman for towels and she made a comment about not having time and she didnt understand how there wasnt towels in there. (The front desk is right next to the pool. All she had to do was look to see. Once getting in the pool, we noticed roaches around the pool. Obviously we got out quickly and wanted to notify the front desk. Again, this woman couldnt be bothered to even pretend to care.

At my stay at the property. My vehicle's broken into and things are stolen out of my vehicle. Upon finding this, I walked the property to see if I can find anything of my property and found hypodermic needles with what Look Like drugs in The Middle and above. And upon alerting a staff member. Of all this. They kind of wasn't surprised to hear what was being going on

disappointed

The smoke alarm went off about 11pm and my husband was sleeping. It never stopped going off. I would have had to wake him or to get someone to repair at midnight or pack up and move to another room. When we reported the incident to front desk, we didn't feel heard. This was the fourth year in a row that we have stayed in this hotel and have not had an issue before. I am not sure we will go back when I have to attend the same event in Lexington. I am really disappointed.

The property was nice, the staff was great, the room was clean. My bed was soft, however the smell was so over whelming. I asked for another room and it was just as bad.
