Location was good - restaurants/coffee/shops all within walking distance. The room was NOT cleaned upon check-in. The bathroom door didn't lock (missing knob on the inside), and the drain to the tub was clogged so a shower turned into a bath within 30 seconds. Room service didn't appear until our 3rd day and most likely only because we asked. We also had to specifically ask them to take the trash and request additional toilet paper and towels.

Older motel, needs some updating, small rooms
Natalie
The grounds were well maintained, parking was easy and well lit. It was a quiet location. The rooms have been updated. My only complaint is the pillows were very flat and likely just needed replaced. Overall, positive experience and I would stay here again.
Tammy
Everyone and everything was great, close to where we needed to be and price was great
Summer
Exactly as described and close to dinner options!
Angela
This place is disgusting. It was supposed to be a non smoking room but it smelled like somebody has smoked a carton of Marlboro a day in there. Even the bed covers smelled like cigarettes. Never, ever, ever again.
Steven
Clean rooms, best room service staff
Cherelyn
Overall it was a pleasant stay no frills no trills just a relatively clean , quiet cool place to rest after days of graduations. Busy area close to everything.
Amanda
Wonderful staff! Peaceful clean rooms!
Steven

I was nervous checkin with a window and couldn’t a as could not hear with a glass and people getting ice and I wonder if this was a safe place to stay with a window.
Joseph
The room was clearly cleaned and they added some sort of scent so it smelled clean as soon as I walked in!

The property is very well maintained and had a spectacular display of spring bulbs planted. It really looked like a top notch place to stay. The room was updated and extremely clean and well maintained. I didn't have one complaint in that area. The thing that bothered me were the other \"guests.\" I stayed here because it was a reasonable price in my old neighborhood as I was in town visiting family for the day but I didn't realize that this part of Nicholasville Road was a little rough. My first red flag should have been that there was a huge monitor hanging in the office showing about 30 different camera views around the property. Then I noticed there seemed to be a lot of people \"staying\" there who were probably long time residents. There were a few men who were out regularly pacing the building, standing around smoking, and giving me the eye as I unloaded both when I arrived and when I left. There was a lot of noise from the bypass on and offramps, and there was just a lot of activity that night - people's cars coming and going, a lot of loud talking in the parking lot, people walking back and forth doing laundry, etc. It wasn't a restful night and quite frankly, as a woman, I didn't feel very safe. It was the first time I put a chair in front of my door. I got through the night at a budget price, but I won't be staying there again.

My husband was a little upset when we pulled into the parking lot, and he realized I had booked a Red Roof Inn. Neither of us likes motels as we don't feel completely safe, and we do not feel they are always clean. However, this was a last-minute trip, and I needed to find a place, and everything else was booked, or they raised their prices due to events in town. However, this place was different. The price was great, and the room was extremely clean. My husband likes to take a black light to hotels, lol. Even though it was a motel, we were very satisfied with our stay. I have to say this place was cleaner than a lot of expensive hotels we have stayed in. We will be back!

Extremely clean rooms, wonderful staff!

It was fine for the price I paid. Room was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable. I did not like the main reception door being locked at 9 pm when we checked in. Had to go through a side door and talk to the desk agent through a thick window. Made me feel like the area wasn’t safe.
Amanda
APRIL IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Fantastic staff!
Ashley
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. I gave 3 stars for amenities because there really are not any amenities. They provide hand soap, shampoo, body wash and a blow dryer. They also have a mini fridge and microwave in room too. Overall for the price it was a great deal and we would stay again!
David
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Brian
Great place to stay, friendly staff,
Melissa
Booked this on a second trip to the Lexington area because the first experience was good. Definitely would not recommend. The place was definitely run differently maybe new management. Had to request clean bedding because the blankets were soiled. Was asked to bring back towels when not provided enough for everyone to shower. Given a card to email if I had a problem.
Christy
Comfy beds, great shower, room was clean, parked right in front of room. Right in middle of everything you could think of food and shopping.
Jordan
Room was cozy, but comfortable. I was only there for one night, but was able to get a good nights sleep.
Adam
0/10 would not recommend. Cockroach in the room, police at the hotel both nights, front desk made us bag our dirty towels and bring them to the desk before giving us some new towels(2 night stay).
Gary
Everything was great
Shawnda
One bed mattress had signs of blood spots, so maybe bedbugs?? Smelly room. Visible buggers on wall near the door.
Karen
Everything was great except for the people arguing outside our window for 2 hours after 10pm

Lower end of quality for red roofs than I'm used to. Outdated, floors have sticky spots, definitely have not been properly mopped in a while.
Sarah
It was fine for the price. I stayed overnight. I didn’t have much interaction with staff.

The room was great. Clean and very welcoming. And the mattress was even better. I realized that I need to get a new bed at home. Thank you for a near perfect stay. Everything and everyone was above and beyond.

Floors are nasty. They really need to invest in a mop and bucket. Toiletries are the bare minimum. Bed was ok but it was hard to get past the nasty floor.
Joaquin
Good

Nice clean rooms an friendly staffing
Virginia
Homeless people were camped out in the parking lot, 7 of them. Another group of homeless people were going through the dumpster and looking at people cars in the parking lot too. But the hotel itself was fine.
Amanda
SUPER CLEAN! VERY PEACEFUL
Nathan
Best red roof inn in Lexington. Always pleasant!
ali
very nice room , close to where we needed to be early the next day. fine wood plank flooring nice bed, fine tv and internet service, my only issue was ...........i would not stand in that bath tub to take a shower, mold and a bath mat in it that was questionable. however , everything else was fine and i would stay there again. im sure they can easily remedy the bath issue
Amanda
EXCELLENT STAY!
Robert
Didn’t change bed daily
Tammy
Absolutely the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed at. Our reservation was made less than an hour of arrival and were able to get our requests filled. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had everything in the room that we needed and more. It felt like staying in a high end hotel without the price. If we are ever in Lexington, we will definitely stay at this location again.
Jennifer
The night we stayed was very sketchy. There were people in back lot smoking pot and a guy was peeing in the bushes. The room was ok not the best I stayed in or the worse. Bed was comfortable.
Mahmoud
Okay If No Other Options
Okay if you don't have much options. Good public transportation nearby if you're interested. Area around is little shady, so be careful. For whatever reason, they don't let you in their little reception. Rather, they let you go through a side door for check-in or other communication.
