Clean room but no breakfast
Darrel
Room was recently renovated. Friendly staff.
Daniel
There is no breakfast offered anymore even though I paid extra for it.
Laura
First, we were given keys to a room that was occupied. Imagine the surprise for both of us! After a night of listening to our loud, rattling air conditioner switching on and off, when we were leaving our room, the deadbolt wouldn’t open immediately. It took several tries. We realize the property is undergoing renovations, but this was beyond an inconvenience. The room itself had an awkward set up and didn’t feel up to Marriott standards.
Amitkumar
Staff is unprofessional and breakfast system is very bad and deceiving
Robert
Room was clean but tv wasn’t working properly
Kimberly

All the construction was a surprise. But, we didn't hear anything, the room was clean, and the gentleman working the check in was very nice and welcoming. We always try to stay at a Courtyard when we travel. We love it and sodoklkkkkids!kidsWe'vennevnevence.

The property is under construction and there was no notice about it on the Expedia site. We were even able to add breakfast to the reservation, even though they no longer had any cooking facilities operational. Although they did adjust the rates back once we got there, so I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Great service by a nice young woman

Friendly staff, clean room

They’re doing renovations and their gym and restaurant is closed. I made this reservation and paid $200 for these amenities they couldn’t provide.
Dermot
The dinning room wasn’t available “ breakfast “ was presented in a converted bedroom
lisa
Staff was professional and their cooked to measure breakfast is awesome. But the property is getting old. The rooms have those noisy heating and AC units. It looks like they are working on renovations.
Jennifer
Hotel was under major construction. This was not disclosed at booking or on hotel website. Hotel could use a good cleaning. No free breakfast available- only a market place with limited hours for purchasing items. Both room keys given at check-in did not function-needed to request re-keyed keys. Not a great experience.
Lorenzo
This was a stop as part of a longer trip. I’d book this hotel again the next time I go that way.
Karen
The hallways and room were very musty smelling. They had people working on rooms that had a mess in the areas used by guests. A Pardon Our Mess sign was needed. Bathrooms had mold in the bath/shower. Parts of the guest areas in and around the property were nice and parts were tired.
james
Friendly Staff
Stephanie
Staff was polite. Good experience.
Karen
Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Tub could have been cleaner but otherwise bathroom was clean.
Denise
It was ok
Denise
Unfortunately I didn't like the location didn't know it sat back at the end of the street, I didn't think it had enough lighting on the outside I was spooked just a little because of coming back late, I didn't feel secure, I think the hotel is a little out dated but my room was nice and clean and slept great, I didn't like the lady who made our breakfast I felt she was rude, I think if someone don't really understand how things go you should not get an attitude but for the most part it was an ok stay

Smelly and damp
Terrible check in…sent me to the wrong side of the building to park and haul up my luggage to the third floor on the wrong side of the building and therefore had to bring it all the way back down all the way across the lobby and over to the other side of the building, and then I had to go and move my vehicle to the other side of the building. Then once I finally got the right room, I found out that the key that he had given me didn’t work and unfortunately, it didn’t work twice so yeah check-in was bad and the room was smelly and damp.

We loved our stay here! The first night we got a lemon of a room-cigarette smoke, strong ammonia smell, ground floor room with people coming and going late in the parking lot, and mould in the bathroom. We told the staff and got a new room on the second floor the next night! No weird smells, no bathroom mould, comfortable bed, lots of coat hangers, quiet, and right beside the staircase! Parking was easy and we get a spot near the door almost every time. The pool was clean and lots of towels and seating. We didn't try the Bistro, but it all looked good! We'll definitely stay here next time we go to Lexington.
Shannon
Normally like courtyard hotels but The ants were really bad this year in room. Any food on floor led to swarms. Found ants in bed and in Kleenex holder in bathroom which showed they were wide spread.

Great spot close to RUPP and lots of restaurants. Indoor pool. Great staff. Clean. Nice stay.

I always try to book this location for the pool and walking trail nearby .Dissapointed that they would not supply a cot as was advertised...I was traveling with 3 children..as indicated when I made reservations. While it was no problem last time...they would not supply one this time.Go figure...this made a differance in a good nights rest..

Safe and easy uber rides!

It was very nice.

Love it

Rooms and hotel had everything we needed. Staff was great!
The hotel itself is showing its age and needs renovation to keep pace.

Ok stay
Would have given the hotel a better rating but our room smelled like cat urine. We had a king room that was located toward end of building and we checked in late so we didn’t ask to change rooms. I’m sure they would have accommodated us with a different room had we asked.

We enjoyed our stay, only thing was the booking site said there was a hot tub and there was not. The indoor pool was quite cold. Other than that the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
donna
Staff is always polite an rooms always clean. Quiet. Pool area is always clean an you dont choke on the smell chlorine. They have a decent exercise room. Only thing i didnt like is i miss the hot tub.
Kenny
Staffing was very accommodating and helpful. Would most definitely stay again.
Tracy
Saw a few bugs on the wall in the hallways, breakfast was not great at all, parking lot lights were not working very dark in the back, back door to go into hotel not secure always open to anyone, keys constantly not working to get into room.
Julie
The property is tired and starting to look run down.
My room was dirty. There were stains in the carpets and furniture. The main console was dirty it was not wiped down properly. Had to call down twice to get them to send up pillows I had asked for. The guests in the room next to me were having a party and had the music blaring till after 11 pm and you could hear them through the walls. As a Bonvoy member I was very disappointed in my stay. I would never choose this hotel again.

This property is in serious need of renovation. Carpets are just beyond dirty and there was a musty smell and ants in my room. Staff was very courteous and the location was great for where we needed to go. If not remodeled, it will not be my choice next year.
Lee
The room had a foul odor and the air conditioner did not work.
Jean
Good for the price
Janie
Service was excellent, friendly and professional. The room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the quiet.
Jason
I really appreciated the front desk clerk. There were massive issues with computers across the country, and he was very patient in checking us in and kind. Nice facilities. It’s great to have the Starbucks in the hotel.
Connie
No carts for luggage, carpeting in halls needs replaced, no decaf coffee, husband’s regular coffee was cold, The woman wanted to charge us for breakfast even though it was stated in our bill that we had paid for breakfast for 2. After checking at the desk she said we had paid!
Cody
It was my second time at this location and it was so nice and quiet and clean.

When I checked into the room it had an unpleasant smell. Not sure if it was a cleaner used or what exactly. The room was also extremely damp. The carpet felt very damp as well as the bed and sheets. For the price it was disappointing
COURTNEY
Every staff member I came in contact with or talked to on the phone was very nice and helpful. Keep up the amazing job 😁
Jacqueline
Hotel is beautiful staff was very nice and professional. Just one inconvenience the bathroom faucet in the shower was on all night because it needed a piece that didn't come until today when I am leaving didn't let me sleep well. They did tell me I can change rooms but I was already Unpacked didn't want the hassle since I was just staying for three nights. I will stay here again when I come back.
Andrew
It was a nice place to stay. Had no problems
Maria
One food service person was not friendly. The other staff were very nice.
Eileen
This Courtyard is old and needs updating !
Leslie
The room was clean enough very dated the hallway. Carpeting was disgusting.

Hotel needs serious updated. The magnetic entry cards are outdated and only work sometimes. The place is dingy. The breakfast set up is not good for travelers trying to get on the road
Monique
No jacuzzi 😪
Disappointed that whirlpool, jacuzzi, was advertised, but was filled in with concrete 😢

The hotel was clean and well kept but nothing was in walking distance except one restaurant which was closed on Sundays
Nancy
Did not like the cost of breakfast.
Alan
Lost power and wifi for 3 plus hours . I could not get my work done. I believe the power problem was only located at the hotel !
Tim
Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean but had a smell in it that was a little overwhelming.
Valerie
Very friendly staff and clean property
Matthew
Great stay would definitely stay again
It was very nice and very clean great service just had a hard time trying to cool the room the ac wouldn’t keep the fan on but that definitely could have been user error
Corey
Good value and kids enjoyed the pool
Selected due to pool and location near Rupp arena. Did not disappoint and good value. Kids enjoyed the pool and the gentleman that checked us in and out was very friendly and professional

Gross…
The pictures look way better than what you get in person. The ceiling was dirty, the literal ceiling, like there was smoke damage. The balcony was trashed and things just looked like it was falling apart. We went down to the bar to grab a drink and the “bartender” would hardly be there. Mostly that was because she was on her phone, that was on speaker the entire time she was working behind the bar, grabbing drinks for myself and two other guests. Then she just left while on her phone, walking around the hotel, waiting for their family to come so she could let them through the side to let them swim. Not to mention, she picks up a glass for wine and she says, eww, they never clean these glasses, then puts it down and grabs another and just wiped it clean.she was also on speaker phone while attending to guests and just setting down the phone while in mid conversation, so all of us could hear, yelling across the bar that you can’t here her. Also there was a putrid smell coming from the sitting area, like someone urinated in the front lobby and they just left it there. The front clerk while pleasant to us, wasn’t with a couple that came in after, giving her the wrong directions to her room then acting really rude to her when she asked again and let him know that she went to the wrong area because of his instructions the first time. I definitely wouldn’t go back and certainly paid too much for staying there to begin with. One step above a motel 6. Gross.
Mike
Great shap for as old as it is ! Well kept.
Debra
We had poor cleaning service. They didn't tell us when we checked in that housekeeping would only be in every other day!?!?!!?What?!?!
The price we paid for this room the trash and clean towels should be taken care of daily and IT WASN'T. Had to call front desk two different times to have this taken care of. Very unhappy!

Everything was wonderful except the pool was not heated. Very very cold.

Could use some usb ports in rooms , but nice, clean and quiet.

We always stay at this property on our trips to Lexington. This stay the propery and rooms were not up to standards. The carpet was frayed in our room, there were dirty glasses left on a shelf in our room, the carpet was not vacuumed well. The balcony to our room had trash on it. The grounds were not well kept. Our air conditioner made a sound like a jet plane preparing for take off and the control panel had finger prints all over it. I think this will be our last stay here.
John
Security
The outer door to the building was to be accessible with our room key, but the door didn’t lock at all! Also, we are used to a second deadbolt security lock on the door, to the room, but that did not exist!
Kammi
Clean & comfy
Clean , clean & comfy! Me & grandson stay here it was very nice , friendly check in and check out. If you like Starbucks it’s in the lobby too .
Anitra
There was something running down the bathroom door. The deadbolt did not work in my room. Hotel needs updated/remodeled.
Lisa
Good Last Minute Decision
We chose this hotel at the last minute and booked a room 5 minutes before arrival. The check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Like-Close to downtown Lexington
Dislike-Strong unpleasant odor in room; dirty walls and carpet; litter around premises. Needs deep cleaning throughout facility.

It's a good clean place to spend the night at a good price. Most this are dated, but clean. The bistro/bar is not worth the money, very limited and very low quality food. It's a great disservices to have and operate it as it is. The chairs in the bar are also falling apart.
Damon
Great location, clean and the staff was great.

Will stay next year
In town for volleyball tournament. Had a king suite with sofa bed. Bed was comfy, bathroom was clean, fold out bed wasn’t unfolded, but comfortable and had bedding in closet. The space was amazing! We checked in late and left early so didn’t use amenities but lobby was inviting. Room showed age but was cleaned well

Great staff, mediocre hotel
Outdoor entry readers were not working which made parking in the back and walking to the front door very inconvenient. The room had a weird/musty smell and the bed was lumpy. No fan in the bathroom. Hotel receptionists were wonderful, friendly, and very helpful.
Kelly
Great location and comfy bed!
I wish I could remember the nice lady that checked us in last night. This was a one night stay as we were in Lexington for a Ky basketball game! The room was clean, the bed super comfy and easy to get in and out with traffic! We have zero complaints and so glad I booked after reading a few mixed reviews!
January
Always stay at Courtyard by Marriott. This one is my favorite. The staff is always friendly and the internet tv has the best choices (amazon, pluto, etc).
casie
There was a hair on the bed sheets when I pulled back the covers. Hoping it fell off when the bed sheets were being placed on the bed. The door lock to the room would at times lock the deadbolt once the door was opened from within. Had to use keycard to unlock it while open it to get it to close. Then, when able to close upon exiting would not lock back. Again ,would have to rekey to get it to latch. Made me feel unsafe. I could hear when the toilet facilities were \"in use\" in the neighboring room. Not a pleasant experience.
James
