We enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel, not musty and faded like others we have stayed in. The breakfasts were very good, and with a broad variety. Definitely a step up from waffles, bagels, and muffins that have been standard fare at other hotels. The pool was a good temperature - not cold!

Excellent hotel in this price range. The lobby and breakfast area were very inviting. The breakfast buffet was excellent—much better than others at this level. The rooms included a refrigerator, microwave and nice roomy desk area. The lovely walk in shower with rain head and wand was very nice as well.
The swimming pool was very clean and nice towels provided.
The location is great—right off the highway.
Only 2 cons—-the pillow were not soft and comfy. And you have to give them a $25 deposit which gets returned sometime after you check out.

Great staff, very clean. Very full (local horse event in flight), but room was ready on arrival. Cracker Barrel up the street was convenient.

Everything was wonderful except the door key cards or handles. Had a”battle” with opening every time. Desk clerk changed the batteries but that really didn’t change anything. The key pad worked fine but the handle had to be manipulated for it to work. Apparently it was a common problem.

I really liked the room set-up. I remember when the hotel was first built around 2023-24 and it looked so modern. This was our first stay. We stayed on the 3rd floor and could hear every footstep our upstairs neighbors made and I mean EVERY FOOT STEP. Also, we could hear people talking as they walked by our room, like our door was open. terrible sound-proofing on the ceiling and door.
The hotel was clean and smelled good and the breakfast was awesome. If I were to stay again, I would ask for the top (4th) floor at the very end of the building.

The hotel was 100% perfect. The only thing I didn't like is Expedia's booking when they had to get a change. It was very difficult. They said they were going to have to call twice just to make sure that it was going to go through, because the first time they said it was going to get changed but they didn't. I got charged another $25 upcharge instead of the $15 that I paid for originally. That was supposed to be paid for, but that was not a good process overall. The hotel itself is fine; it's just the Expedia overall re booking

The hotel is in an excellent location; easy on and off interstate, convenient to restaurants and attractions. Staff was knowledgeable but not as helpful or engaging as expected. The room layout was awkward; barn door bathroom in an open design room made privacy difficult. A/C didn’t perform well. Nights were warm despite therm turned down; may need maintenance or filter change. Room showed wear and tear; dented corners, loose cabinet trim strip, mic/fridge stand light out. May just need some TLC overall. Bathroom was not the cleanest. Hallways and lobby definitely need a deep cleaning; carpet stains, dirty corners and non-traffic areas. Breakfast was good. Pancake machine worked most of the time. Potatoes were a bit undercooked. Coffee was excellent. Machines worked great and fast.

Property is in great shape after complete remodeling. Has the feel of a much more modern hotel and the lobby and breakfast area is much more spacious than other Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed. Of a week long road trip with 7 different hotels, this was easily the best.

My stay was perfect! The only very small issue that I had was the door sticking, but I think that was due to the heat and humidity. I let the front desk know and they thanked me and contacted maintenance immediately. The entire location was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful, kind and professional. I didn't get breakfast in the morning because I overslept. I would definitely stay there again!

I booked a non-refundable room through for this hotel for a same-day stay. Immediately after completing the booking, the confirmation reflected dates one week later than what I had selected during the search process. Whether that was due to my error or the websites, we'll never know.
However, to remedy this, I immediately contacted the booking company within approximately one minute of receiving the confirmation to report the issue and request a correction. The booking company contacted the property on my behalf; however, both a refund and a date adjustment were denied.
While I recognize that non-refundable policies are standard, this situation did not involve a change in travel plans. The reservation contained incorrect dates, and the issue was raised immediately after booking. Given the timing and the fact that the reservation was for a future date (which would not have prevented the hotel from selling that room to anyone else), declining any form of correction or accommodation was unreasonable.
No alternative resolution, such as a date change or credit, was offered. The handling of this situation reflects a lack of appropriate responsiveness and flexibility in addressing a clear booking discrepancy.

Booked with them because they were pet-friendly, I was traveling with my dog. The hotel itself was excellent but they lacked information on where my dog could go to do her business. No markings whatsoever. However I did find a poop station while taking a walk. Just would be nice if it was well marked or they gave out a cheat sheet when you check-in. They do require that you inform them that you have a pet. Also, it would have been nice if they had an area for those times when it is pouring rain and your dog really needs to go. Now that I know the lay of the land everything is good and I will book with them again.

Traffic getting to the hotel was terrible! Fortunately there is a Cracker Barrel restaurant within walking distance as the thought of leaving and fighting our way back through traffic was awful. The front desk staff were friendly but unhelpful. I had secured two rooms for our traveling party. We made sure that it was clear in check in that I would be paying for one room and payment for the other room would be made by my companion. The check in staff said ‘no problem’ and took my friend’s credit card info for the payment on his room. When checking out the next morning I asked the clerk for a receipt and he told me that I would receive that from Expedia. Not only have I not received a receipt, but my credit card was charged for both rooms! A minimal amount of effort on the part of the staff at checkout would have avoided this.

We were welcomed by Jason and his team and made to feel at home. The only down mark was based on one of the beds, but when the front desk was notified the next morning (it wasn't an intolerable issue), they marked it for immediate maintenance check. You could tell they take great pride in their facility!

The only complaint that I have was that we were placed in a room next to a suite with 6 people that had parked in front of our room, played music on their truck loud speaker and normal but loud group conversations. I had about given up on sleeping with a pillow over my head when they went to bed. The adjoining door between our rooms allowed lots of noise from the large group even with the towel stuck under it. THIS could have been avoided if the staff had put us in one of the empty rooms. There were several on our side. The staff should be trained to spread clients out instead of grouping occupied rooms.

Property itself is good, clean. However the night we arrived there was no parking. There was one spot opened at an electric car charging station. After driving around we parked there, left front desk know and that we'd check back shortly to move car to where a parking spot opened up. The desk person was rude about it and said we'd be towed because what if someone with electric car checked in then that guest would have no parking. I did say but we are guests too, we need to park. They then told us not to try to park at the closed restaurant next door or anywhere else. Very unwelcoming attitude. We had to watch and wait half hour until a staff member left their shift then we took their spot .Very inconvenient.

Since it’s changed ownership, I’m really disappointed that they do not offer coffee in the rooms anymore in the breakfast was just not as good as it had been last year under a different ownership, they said that the reason they weren’t offering coffee the rooms was because of the environment, however, they did full remodels, on an almost brand new hotel to Rebrand

We arrived at this hotel on April 11th and were told upon arrival that they had no hot water and it would not be fixed by morning. We had booked through Hotel’s.com. We could not stay because of the water situation. We have been charged for the room and need to be reimbursed as soon as possible. Someone from Hotel’s.com needs to contact me to discuss this situation.
