Very cool hotel. Beautiful lobby. Nice bar. Comfy beds
Nicole
Hotel stay was great and very centrally located. I would stay again!
Lori
A beautiful place and rooom. Staff was over the top helpful . The restaurant did not disappoint.

Very nice property, good breakfast.
David
Nice hotel - good location - quiet and safe and was fine for our 1 night stay - the problem I had is there was no refrigerator in our room - very hot time of year thru Kentucky and could have used this amenity
Nicole
Hotel is in a perfect location and we really enjoyed our stay! The rooms are a little old but kind of expected. I noticed the staff never tended to the fruit infused water station but that’s the only complaint. Coffee and staff was fantastic!
Kaela
Beautiful property and very clean, just needs a few maintenance updates, but the property is very old and historic.
Joy
We enjoyed our stay. Loved the ambience. Rackroom was great. Staff was wonderful. Had a great stay. We had a large and beautiful suite. Hallway carpets were worn and appeared to be dirty. Should be replaced.
tara
Love the horse country style and the cool vibe! Enjoyed cocktails near the fireplace.
Elizabeth
the Campbell house back in the day must of been lovely...it seems very tired now...needs a facelift.
Angela
Beautiful entrance and reception area. Was given the keycard and room # to an occupied room. Having known the history of this hotel being considered haunted, needless to say opening the room door to find someone in the bed made a heck of a vacation story.
Miguel
I spent 1 night but it was very comfortable and room was very spacious slept like a baby.
Melissa
Stayed two nights for my son’s orientation at UK. Close location to campus and downtown Lexington. Nice property with clean and spacious rooms. Dined at on site restaurant our first night. The food was good and the staff friendly.
John
Excellent restaurant
Rick
The facilities and staff were were very nice!!
Tracy

michele
The rooms and hotel overall was very nice. My only wish is that all rooms had a mini fridge ours did not. Other than that the stay was. Ice.
Sheila
Very Clean room, front desk was amazing! Breakfast the next morning at the Racking Horse was excellent; they need to work on their service. 9/10 I will stay there again
Karen
The place is dirty and needs some TLC
Heather
Second stay at this hotel and absolutely loved it. The bar and restaurant are fantastic!!
Amanda
Staff are helpful. The hotel feels like it is dated. The bathroom in the room was too small.
Jennifer
The hotel needs lots of renovations !!
Kimberley
Nothing, this may have been my worst hotel experience ever.
James
Parking is expensive
Darrin
Enjoyed my stay at the Campbell House

We’ve stayed in this hotel before and it’s very large. Perhaps it was the location of our room this time, which was in an older back hallway, that added to the less than desirable experience. The room was musty and smelled terrible. The entry door didn’t latch and needed to be locked to stay closed. The staff member who checked us in had the personality of cardboard. After waiting several minutes to check out, we just used the app - no one showed up. It’s decorated beautifully with great atmosphere and the restaurant was good, but overall didn’t measure up and not worth the $$. I’ll look elsewhere next time.
Don
Great property that could use a little upkeep
Keri
The hotel was nice, no issues. It is a little strange in the layout, but was fine for our stay.
Brenda
The hotel is somewhat old, but well maintained. We ate dinner at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and it was outstanding! If lived in the area, I would eat here regularly. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Lexington.
Michael
Clean room, good restaurant, friendly staff.
Cherie
Excellent stay! Fine Dining! Excellent staff and service! Would come again!
James
The hotel was worn. I had a \"suite\", the Seattle Slew Suite which was one large room. My window view opened onto an interior storage room, with a final window to the outside which had a view of a/c units on a roof. Chairs with cloth upholstery had old liquid stains. The bathroom, which was quite large, had mold embedded in the shower grout. The room was dark.
There was no bell service. The hotel charged $15 night to park in an outside lot.
I had a rate which included breakfast. The hotel gave us vouchers for a specific entree rather than letting us choose what we wanted to eat. Service was very slow even though the restaurant was almost empty.
Hilton should be ashamed to market this property as a Hilton. Would not stay there again.

No amenities in the rooms. No amenities outside the rooms. Rude staff. Lack of hospitality. I was totally disappointed with my stay. Never staying here again.
konrad
The Rackhouse Tavern is great from morning to night. Well done you all.
Thomas
Overall, a nice property. If the things like carpet being dated and areas being dated, it’s a great spot.
Laura
The restaurant was beautiful and had a large selection of Bourbons. Dinner was excellent, although my husband didn’t receive what he ordered. Our room was average for the price we paid. Very small bathroom, with very little counter space to put anything. We opened our window to view large wrapped pipes. Not exactly what I hoped for when I paid for a Hilton experience. The bed was comfortable.
Karen
Was suppose to check in at 3:00 , didn't get in room till 8pm. Bartender was cussing and dirty dishes all over bar when I got there. I walked up sat down in a stool, he ask me what I wanted. I said can you please clear all these dirty dishes and wipe down the bar first. I called room service for water, waited hour and had to call back for water. Hall ways need to be vacuumed , people yelling, screaming and running through the halls all night. No refrigerator in room, remote to tv was very hard to push to change channels ,finally gave up. Entrance of the hotel was nice, but the hotel is not up to standard for what I paid a night. Will never stay again. I asked for a receipt for my stay they said I'd have to get it from Expedia , charges on my check card that I have no idea what they are.
Greg
horses...horses everywhere!
Caralyn
bar is excellent and food is also
Gale
They charge $3 for a bottle of water in the room. No small frig either. Bathroom shower very slow draining. Probably won’t stay here again. Rooms are still dark like I remember from years ago.
Ava
I didn’t eat there
Sheila
Pet friedly. Clean and large rooms. Ample parking. Close to many shops and restaurants!
Kim
The breakfast was fresh & good. Hotel was nice & clean. It was a bummer that there was no pool & not happy breakfast wasn’t included. Breakfast was too expensive.
celeste
The room was spacious and bed very comfortable with soft sheets. The window shade truly blocked out light which is rare. Quiet and restful after days of hospital visits. I ate twice in restaurant for dinner and it was delicious. A very pleasant stay.
Lynn
Room was clean but bathroom could use a counter food was great salmon was perfectly cook the quail was cook well we enjoyed the music while we ate over all was very happy with our stay
Thomas
Very nice, clean property. Bar/restaurant is great too.
Troy
Terrible food. Nice staff. Overpriced
Michelle
Decent place. Older property but still in good shape
Tina
Everything was nice. The bedding was nice. Everything was very clean and tastefully decorated. The only complaint is that toilet wouldn't flush.
Abby
Nice looking room. The walls between rooms must be very thin because we were kept up all night by people partying next-door. The common hallways need to be cleaned and updated.
Jennifer
The staff were so friendly. The Taven waitress at night didn’t do a good job though. Got our order wrong and charged us for the other order plus the original order. Forgot to get my husbands drink until he was just about done eating.
Edmund
This is a very unique location and caters to the Lexington, KY vibe. Room was excellent and clean. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast - very good and friendly staff. Right by the University of KY.
Only complaint was that the bar was suppose to be open to 11 PM, I came down around 10 PM and they said they were closing when there was still a decent amount of people there. Other people did too and got the same response.

Nice place for a quick getaway
Julie
Large room, beautiful bathroom, staff helpful and friendly.
Brenda
I was in town for an CE Course. My room was clean the beds were very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great location.
Clare
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Loved our stay here the room was really spacious and the decor was beautiful.
Alyssa
The bar was great. The bartenders were exceptional. The front desk people were very friendly and insightful. It was very clean for being an older building.
Ann
We always enjoy our stay at The Cambell House Inn. Rebecca at the front desk was especially friendly and fun to talk to. We will be back again next January!
David
The tub would not hold water for a bath. Was truly looking forward a hot soak
Kristi
Our 1st room , on 1st floor, exterior window would not close or lock properly.
We were moved. Our neighbors were up all night making noise and talking loudly. I could not get any sleep, miserable night.

Margaret
Someone on staff very oddly let themselves into our room while we were in there and when they realized we were there said \"oh, the computers are down, we just needed to see who was in which room\" and then left quickly. It was unsettling. Also, there's no quick and easy breakfast option and the small shop was insanely overpriced - they were asking $6.00 for a bottle of water.
Jacob
Spotless and friendly service!
Rita
Very lovely!
Jessica
The staff at this hotel are amazing!
Phillip
Comfortable clean room, excellent dinner restaurant (Tavern), good complimentary breakfast.
Amy
We checked out at 11 … check out time and 5 hours later we have a charge on my credit card for an extra, not much, what’s the charge??? $3. Disputing it and we’ll get to the end of this!! Not cool!! I have picture of credit card where it was charged but not able to post it…

Met expectations in every way. Personable and focused on ensuring excellence from the room accommodations to the Rackhouse Tavern serving staff. Tell Stefan we say “Hello and well done!” Outstanding value. Appreciated quality.

This place is super cute. A little outdated but my room was comfortable and clean and the bed is so cozy. Food and coffee are great. Staff is lovely.
Renee
Beautiful hotel, super clean & quiet.

Love staying here when visiting Lexington! This particular stay, we were upgraded to the presidential suite. What a fabulous surprise! We love the Campbell House. Great location if you have a student at UK or just in town for a horse race.
heather

Only spent the night
Keith
Clean room and super friendly staff!
Patrick
Bar was the best part, but food was not great
Carol
Only meet one staff member at check in. It went ok.
Ginny
Booked a king size bed, was given a double. When I informed the lady at the desk, she said they didn’t have a king bed room and so they gave us a double that’s a larger room which is an upgrade. It wouldn’t have been as big of deal had she just told me upon Check-in instead of having me walk back from the room. Dishonest businesses don’t get my repeat business.
The room was below average, they did not ensure bath room was filled with amenities. Not to mention the tub shower is rundown and needs to be replaced. The carpet is gross in the rooms. The bed was clean, but pillows were so flat that we couldn’t sleep comfortably. The hallways are disgusting and didn’t look like they had been cleaned in weeks. The Campbell House is a staple of Lexington and it’s ashame they haven’t spent more time and money to keep it that way.

Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly.
Robert
Atmosphere was amazing
Vickie
Staff was good. Each Room needs a small bar fridge and microwave. Need a make up table immediately outside the bathroom. Had no handwashing soaps. Tv speaker sounds weird when you increase volume.. buzzing nose, ice machines out on 1st and 2nd floor with no signs saying out. Had to go to 3rd floor.
Keith
Room was nice and front desk folks were warm and courteous.
Tomas
Excellent
heather
gorgeous place
Laura
Staff were great. Room was clean and comfortable. On site restaurant had great options. Welcoming fire going in the foyer fireplace.
Keith
The Best
One of my favorite hotels anywhere.
tracy
There is no one to help you with luggage. All of our rooms smelled musty. The hotel is old and needs a major refresh. Also they have the tiniest bathrooms - like NYC sized bathrooms. Positives- you could walk to football stadium and the bar was great but did close at 10 most nights.
John
Hotel seemed old and forlorn. Our room door was basically broken off the hinges. The door could only be closed by lifting the entire weight and shoving it closed. The staff appeared overworked and some were less than helpful.
Richard
Nice hotel with a very good restaurant and bar.
Joe
Very slow service in restaurant. Food average. Older hotel. Bathrooms very small.?g Glazing coming off tub.
Ann
The room was clean and comfortable
Cary
Would stay here again
Jennifer
the hotel was cute and was a great location for visiting University of Kentucky
Dawn
The property was gorgeous. The bathrooms in the rooms were a little disappointing.
Everett
Charges to are room were in correct. The toilet leaked water all over the bathroom floor. We gave our waitress a 10% off coupon and they didn’t take off the 10% our dinner. Wasn’t impressed at all.
