Staff was excellent and super helpful! Its name being a convention center had my expectations a little high for this location, to no fault of their own. I had hoped for it to be a walkable property and it’s not quite. While it’s under renovations, current use of the hotel is a 3 star hotel due to its poorly remodeled spaces over years and an overriding smell of mold in the bathroom. Breakfast was standard for continental breakfast. The staff though, is what prompted my 4 stars. They were the gems of this location. They really were kind and helpful throughout my stay!

This was terrible experience snd I have been unable to get my money back. I stayed at the property about ten minutes. There was a breyerfest convention and people were constructing things at midnight. The air conditioner did not work and it appeared to be renting rooms by the hour. There were neon lights with room numbers in the window. The doors were not locked and anyone had access.

I think this room might be cheaper if you book directly. We love this place. We don't always have time to take advantage of all it offers but this time we tried the restaurant, and it was fabulous.

Somehow we ended up with a king bed in a handicapped room so I get the feeling we somehow paid for their highest priced room when there were lots of other rooms open.

Easy stress free stay and lots of activities if you have time to take advantage of it.

New room that was not finished, we had ants in our room ,on the beds, we stay one night enjoy the fish convention, then we left early, would not stay here again!!

We stayed just 1 night. The room looked a little tired but it was clean and quiet. What stood out to us was the Sedona Taphouse which was attached to the facility. I don't think it is the same owner, but it seemed very popular for a Tuesday night.

The property makes it clear no smoking and some frequent visitors disregard the policy. I wonder if the policy is truly being enforced. Also, make sure if your a woman and like a spacious vanity , ask for the second floor. I was given the first floor and the bathroom looked dated almost locker room like no place to put my makeup and other hygiene products. The eating area is dated and chairs look used and old.

Was just ok.. good price . Bed was comfortable and pillows were good . Carpet throughout was very dirty.

Hotel does not match the pictures shown on line … only one area looks like that .

Was really hoping the hot tub looked as pictured … it did not . Jets did not work well and the water feature was not working .

Overall served its purpose !

Staff was helpful, though housekeeping took dirty towels and didn’t leave fresh. Pool was freezing and had no towels. Hot tub jets were weak and only half worked. Water in hot tub was very cloudy green. Overall, we weren’t in town for the hotel, so everything was fine. Bed was ok and room was quiet.

This hotel was far below hygienic standards for a hotel I would have probably gotten an infection if I swam in the hot tub as I did see a scab floating around the property was not maintained well at all everywhere you looked needed to have repairs. Please beware before booking.

Hallways filthy. Room key would not work. On the way to get it replaced. Met 2 others with the same problem. No room service.
Breakfast that was included pitiful.
Lack of electrical outlets in room unreal.
Will never stay there again. Lady at ft desk was very kind. Did beg manager of restaurant to please bring me some food as I was very ill. Tipped them 100% as she did this on her break.
The heating cooling unit. Worked only part of the time. I have stayed there at least 100 times in the past 8 yrs. Watched it go down the tubes. Will not stay again

First checked in and was put in a building that I had to drive to and the room had no plug for me to plug my phone in. It was behind some big heavy, torn up leather chair it smelled in the room and I was in the room for 10 minutes and all of a sudden somebody just comes walking in and she says oh I’m sorry and shut the door and then another 10 minutes later somebody else comes walking in the room and then shut the door and I open the door and I said what is going on. I said is this room clean and she said yes and then she told me to put the do not disturb sign on the door. I called the front desk because I couldn’t plug my phone in so they told me they would move me to another room. I drove back up to the front of the hotel. They put me in another room and I’m not in there for five minutes and a man comes walking in the room without knocking and then all of a sudden start saying he’s sorry that he was there to put a microwave in in my room. Had a microwave in it already and before I got to that room, they sent me to another room, and I opened the door and it reeked of marijuana so that’s when they put me in the other room and the guy had walked in. They told me they could not refund the room which I didn’t even ask for I just said I wanted to be left alone and put in a room with the right accommodations. The coffee in the morning tasted like water that they offered at the free breakfast. It was just an awful experience.

We paid for a room in the main building and they put us in the back building. The room there was clean but it had no outlets for your phone near the beds. The TV was not a smart TV. The door to the room was crooked and had a gap. The room was musty. The continental breakfast was okay but they allowed homeless in touching everything and taking food. That made it very uncomfortable.

The room was clean and the housekeeping staff did a great job of replenishing supplies. My room was not ready when I arrived (15 minutes early) and I was told it wouldn’t be ready for another hour. Some of the front desk, staff were helpful and some not. There were a lot of options for breakfast, but the quality was mediocre. The fitness center had the least amount of equipment that I’ve ever seen. I did not use the pool or hot tub, but both seem to be very popular. The laundry facilities were a four minute walk from my room and very difficult to locate. To get to the laundry facilities I had to walk through the conference center which appeared really drab and in need of renovation. The restaurant which is connected to the hotel was really good– in fact, the best part of my stay.

The door handle fell off our room and the keys barely ever worked. Poor exterior lighting at outside entrances and sketchy drug deals happening in the parking lot behind the attached resturant. The restaurant hostess basically said the kitchen is behind and we don’t really want to seat you. Ended up eating a mini bag of chips in my room. Been there 3 years in a row for same event won’t make it a fourth. It just seems to be going down hill and no improvements

The first rooms floor was wet. Once we switched rooms, we had to get a plug for the bathtub installed. There was sediment in the bath and we had to clean/disinfect the tub ourselves. The pool room was AT MOST 65 degrees, making the entire purpose of us being there useless. Not one guest who came into the pool room could swim in the pool. The manager came in WEARING A TURTLENECK and scoffed at us for rationally finding the room freezing. Do not stay here if you want to use the pool room or have a clean environment. The staff were nice but not the manager in the turtleneck.

The online reviews definitely did not match the condition or the breakfast. Yes they may have done some work on the place but definitely not what i consider updating. The tub wouldnt drain, the popcorn wall coating was peeling, the floating drop ceiling was stained from water and sagging. The hall carpet was gross and stained as well. Its been wel used and neglected in my opinion. I guess if you need a place to crash out its ok but it wouldnt be my first place to stay on any trip.
