Stayed here on the weekdays for a month. The first three weeks I had clean rooms and they were cleaned everyday. My room was ice cold, everything was perfect. But this past week was absolutely terrible. There was a bag that was covering my smoke detector, the bathroom floor was dirty, there was a wet wash cloth hanging in the shower, the room smelled of cigarettes and mildew and the a/c didn’t get cold. I was only there for two nights. And it has ruined my experience. I will not be going back. Other than these things the staff was great, the breakfast was good and plenty of parking.
Melanie
Great breakfast clean super comfy affordable
Jonathan
Great place to stay, we stay here for at least a whole week each year and they are great!
Gene
Good hotel. We stay here whenever we are in town
David
Clean room. Staff pleasant. Parking convenient.
Linda
The white powder sprinkled around the wall and headboard was troubling.
Deeanna
When checking in Walter was very friendly and helpful. The lady in the kitchen prepping food was very nice and attentive. When checking out of our room we found a dead bettle which means the room was not cleaned or checked before we arrived we had friends in other rooms who stated the shower had pubic hair all over
Jim
The bathroom door hit the toilet half way open. Furniture in room well worn should be replaced.
Michelle
We walked in and was surprised to see every room’s door was open. We noticed a huge water stain in the drop ceiling. Our room smelled moldy and the scent of weed. I called hotels.com and asked how can I cancel and get a refund. I was told to tell the front desk I needed to leave and hotels.com would be calling. I told the front desk I cannot stay there because of the mold. The owner/manager said that I didn’t tell the front desk the reason I was leaving so he refused to give me a refund. I am warning everyone the place is a mess.
Harika
Very good location and friendly staff. The building is old. ACs are very loud, like an airplane engine

Breakfast was nice and a clean room

Had a problem where toilet would not flush, and water was leaking from the base of the toilet. Was told it would be fixed by the time we got home for the day (about a 7 hour window), came back to the solution being a towel was put around the toilet, and dirty shoe marks covered the flooring in the bathroom from whom ever did that. Toilet did not flush still. Had to call again at almost midnight for someone to finally come get it to flush. Then, we noticed there are ants. Everywhere. Found multiple in our bed, and lines of them going to any type of potential food like an opened bag of chips. Property and rooms were also not very clean. While the staff was very nice, this best western is seriously lacking compared to others.
Jonathan
Arrived after 10pm and was initially given a room that was not ready. The dirty towels were still on the floor and the dirty bed sheets were in pile. Returned to the lobby and was given a different room that was fine. The bathrooms are extremely small. Overall a good experience.
Harold
Very clean room and very friendl ly staff
Kathy
it was a good overnight hotel along hwy 75 during our travels

I chose this best Western because of the indoor pool. When we checked in we were told there was an electrical issue with the pool and it was unusable. The manager on duty apologized but my grandchildren were very upset! I feel Expedia should have known this and that I am due a refund at least in part! I would NEVER have booked this hotel if I had known this!
Tom
Clean room and spacious was a big plus very quiet and the staff was friendly breakfast was good and parking was easy access
Sherrie
Everything was wonderful
CONNIE
Parking was good with our 18 ft. trailer. Nice room but the microwave didn't work, there is a small metal stop that we tripped over in the middle of the bathroom, no hand bar in the shower of a handicap room, in the bathroom there is an area that wasn't finished with paint around a towel bar.
Breakfast was lovely as was the person in charge. She was so helpful.

Wonderful place to stay. Beds were comfy.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was also delicious (not bland like most places). The employee on duty when I checked in at night was really friendly, the employee the next morning however barely looked up from his phone as I tried to check out. The only thing I wish I had known when I checked in is that this hotel locks up like it's Fort Knox after 11 pm. I had forgotten something in my car that I went down to grab and when I came back I was unable to get back into the hotel. I tried scanning my key card a good 57 times for half an hour, as well as phoning the front desk the same but neither worked (I could see the front desk through the door as well as hear the phone ringing but I believe the night employee had left for the evening). I thought I was going to have to sleep in my car until I walked around the hotel and saw there was a back door. I tried it and was able to get in. Please let people know about the lockdown when checking in!

Our room was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The breakfast offered a nice variety. Staff at the front desk and servicing the breakfast area were friendly and helpful. Nice location right off the freeway.

We didn’t have breakfast
Arlene
Clean room, nice beds and linens, ice machine on our floor and the ice machine worked! Nice hot breakfast that was well presented and a nice breakfast attendant. Nice dining area. Nice front desk folks. Only negative thing I could say is the room had a super tiny bathroom, I had a hard time maneuvering around the toilet in order to close the door or get into the shower. I will be staying here again. Great hotel for the money!
Tress
Nice quiet place to stay
Michelle
Parking was well lit.

The room was clean but the bathroom was left a mess. Someone had used the bathroom & left it in the toilet. Also, maintenance left over used material all over bathroom floor and tub was dirty.
Eugene
Very friendly staff. Shower water was cold after jury a few minutes of turning on shower.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and staff was very friendly. Minimal outside noise. Breakfast was average, typical hotel breakfast. Fresh fruit and yogurt options would have been nice. Good coffee. Breakfast area was very well maintained and clean, as was the lobby and hotel grounds. Would stay here again.

Room needs a complete makeover. Lying in bed, ceiling very dirty and holes in it. Needs to be sound proofed. Could hear next door every time they used bathroom. Location was good. Close to everything.
savannah
Staff was very kind! Had an issue with the fire alarm beeping which took a while to figure out. instead of offering a new room the lobby worker texted some guy who never answered, and we just sat there waiting until my husband finally went and asked for a new room. Other than, staff was kind. The woman preparing the breakfast was so sweet!
Colleen
Conveniently located, friendly staff. Good breakfast choices. Would definitely stay again.
Latasha
The stay was great for the price. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

When the hotel door was closed you could see inside the room and the light on in the room through what way more than a crack in the top of the door.

It was refreshing to step in a nice and safe location

Not impressed during our Fall Break stay
Upon arrival with my family we were told upfront that the pool was waiting health inspection. Disheartening, considering that, that is an important purchase point with children. Had we known that it would be down until the last night of our four night stay we would have looked into a neighboring hotel. The staff were average and not truly welcoming. One member in particular that was over the breakfast hours was bluntly rude to my young nine year old daughter while we sat nearby in disbelief. The nozzle to the waffle batter dispenser popped off due to pressure build up in the machine. She walked over and stooped to her level and with a smile, actually told her that she was the reason the machine was broken and she didn’t have a nozzle to replace it thanks to her. She smiled again, cocked her head at my daughter and strutted off leaving my daughter shaken and confused. The fire alarm on our third floor was found to be faulty after the second sweep by firemen. The faulty alarm caused it to alarm in excess of six times throughout the day and into the late night constantly waking us up. No apologies or nothing and lack of sleep for everyone. After this experience we have decided to avoid Best Western hotels on future family trips after this ordeal.

Upon my arrival, the lobby reeked of marijuana. Upon entering the room it was noted that the ceiling was separating. Before bed, I paced a medication in the fridge that required refrigeration. Upon awakening it was noted that the fridge had not stayed closed and the expensive medication was ruined.
I feel that I was lied to by hotels.com as they have the hotel fantastic ratings, which made my decision to choose that hotel.

Check-in was quick and easy. The property was clean although a little older in feel. Bathroom was clean but small. Room had plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. Free breakfast is always nice.

Old Tired and in Need of of Renovation
Lobby was fine but rest of property is old and tired in need of renovation. Poorly maintained and kind of icky. Beds seemed clean and were comfortable. Rough paint, dirty corners generally not the kind of place I would expect for the price. Won’t be back.

They're very friendly and the hotel very clean and very affordable as well.
Marcia
The property was set back from the expressway and easy to get to.
Josh
Overall good for the money.
Jon
Only thing I would change is if they had a little softer beds, other than that, 5 star property!

I’m not one to complain as stuff happens but this was absolutely terrible and we will never stay here ever again. There is no way the positive reviews are real. Our room was over 80 degrees when we checked in, the AC unit was covered in bugs and mold, mold was growing up the walls, holes in roof and walls, floodlights coming into windows and curtains would not close all the way, bathroom sink wasn’t mounted to countertop and didn’t work, towels were much smaller than even today’s usual low budget towels, staff let a guy setup an entire hookah right outside the front door and more. So unprofessional, unclean, unsafe and terrible all around.

The room was clean except for a toy left by kids from the last stay, the pillows and bed were wonderful!! we had to switch rooms twice due to the TV not working and it never was fixed. The owner tried to fix it the second time we moved but it didn’t work and the heated pool was very cold
Bre
Will book again. Property was clean and well lit at night
Julie
Friendly staff. Fast check in. Bathroom uncomfortably small--door almost brushes toilet-- making you have to stand over the toilet to close the door!
Also only 2 handicap parking spots and they are farther from the front door than the EV charging spots.
Not enough parking for this hotel in general.
Breakfast sucked.

Great price and updated hotel
Convenient location, right off the highway. Lots of restaurant and shopping in the area. close to commute to the Kentucky Horse Park.
Rooms were very clean and beds and pillows were super comfy. Appears to have recently been remodeled. Friendly staff and nice breakfast.
One downside was the homeless population in the area and a tent encampment across from the hotel in a wooded area.

I can honestly say; for the first time ever, There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel. The staff of Best Western Lexington Inn, hit the mark on guest service. I give 5 stars to the whole staff. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. Each day, I was greeted with a smile and how was your day. I loved staying there. Their breakfast wasn't half bad either. I told the staff, I would definitely be back and meant it! Althea Humber

When we had to cancel the first reservation at another hotel. I found this hotel on the website much cheaper. Told the clerk what happened to the other one very understanding very nice very helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The people
At front desk were wonderful. Hotel looked like it needed a deep clean. Looked as if there had been a water leak in the ceiling and only partially repaired. Curious if they had cleaned the shower, there was a hair pin stuck to the magnetic part
Of shower curtain seems as if
It has been cleaned they would have found it. Breakfast was good! The door stop
In bathroom in an off LDs place that’s just an observation.

The room smelled like mold the bathroom was very small I couldn’t even get in the shower without hugging the toilet to get around the door. Fan in the heater made a loud constant noise and kept me up all night. Breakfast was good and the bed was comfy but for the price I won’t stay there again
