The hotel was under construction, and I had already paid before the hotel let me know that. You would think that they would give you a rebate. Also, the gym was under construction, and they did not offer an alternative. I have been staying at Embassy Suites for years, and since COVID they have been steadily going down hill, but this was the last straw, I will never stay at Embassy suites again.

The hotel was in the middle of renovations, a lot of dust. Staff was friendly and trying to make the best of a bad situation. Our room was already renovated but door had to be slammed to open or shut, tub faucet was loose and not caulked.

The staff was incredible. We also loved the made to order breakfast options. Definitely helps to save money when traveling.

I wish I had known the pool and gym would be closed and the hotel was going through renovations before I booked though. They also charge $15 per night to park in the parking lot which I was not told until check in.

I was not informed about the massive renovation project or that there was paid parking. The fire alarms in the entire building went off twice. I never would have rented there if I have known. The only thing they informed me was that the pool was being worked on. I should be reimbursed for at least half my stay.

Undergoing renovations. Entire hotel is affected. Dusty, fire alarms kept going off for long periods. Water pressure was low. All the beautiful plants and foliage have been removed. Fountain not working. Those are the things we look forward to from Embassy hotels.

Avoid! This hotel is undergoing major renovations which Expedia does not list. We arrived at our hotel around 6 in the evening to be told the water would be shut off at 9am for the full day. This was on top of our 4th floor room toilet and sink not draining with gross gurgling noises and dirt backing up into them. Partial breakfast. No workout room or pool. And understaffed front desk (1 person) to help everyone \"to save money.\" That is aside from construction dust everywhere and a demolition. We checked out early and lots of others were leaving or just walking out to find another hotel. There are lots of lovely options in Lexington!

The hotel is under major renovations. If you’re OK, not sleeping past 8 AM… You should be OK but one of my days during my stay the water was shut off from 9 AM to 5 PM. Hotels.com did not inform me this hotel was under renovation at the time of my booking, and I think it should’ve been. I’ve stated him many times and it’s always been pretty good, but with the construction, it was not the best stay I’ve had here.

Everything was great, the service, cleanliness of the room, and the food; the only thing I could complain about is the unknown parking fee that was added for each day of stay. There was no mentioning of parking fee when I checked-in and there was not any \"special parking designated for paying guest to park.

Loved the new hotel room. Super clean. Was disappointed, we checked in at 6 and were given drink vouchers and the lady at the bar said it ended at 6:30 and she wouldn’t honor the voucher. The hotel was under construction but was never mentioned when booking. No pool. We were on a family vacation so that was disappointing. Great breakfast in the morning with lots of options!

This hotel should not be open. Showers didn’t work, door handle broke and dust is everywhere. We coughed all night. You couldn’t eat breakfast or snacks provided because of the unhealthy conditions. We stayed here before and liked it. They should close it during construction. Unhealthy! No one staying there should be charged. It was unacceptable conditions!

The hotel is under a MAJOR renovation with so much noise, and dirt. The water was shut off for four hours in the middle of the day at one point and guests were warned but not provided ny drinking water. The gym was only open for four hours in the late evening and the restaurant had four items.
Despite these things that made my stay challenging and uncomfortable, the staff were clearly doing their best and were understanding and helpful. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable.

Stayed there before with all the plush plants and waterfalls. A+. It was a great half way stop to Mi. Our Last visit the hotel was under construction and very dusty.I was told that the plants will not be coming back. Sorry to hear that. Will revisit when construction is completed maybe.

The only problem we’ve experienced in our 3 stays was parking while a conference was in the building. Every spot was double parked and when we asked we were told to find someplace in the grass and that we would have to go out after the conference to move into a proper spot AND still had to pay the parking fee. The desk employee was unsympathetic and borderline rude.
The rest of the time at this property has been great and we will return hoping this was and outlier and that southern hospitality will be back

If i knew they had construction inside i would not have booked i have COPD and could barely hear due to the Jack hammer it stopped at 6 pm but it starts at 8 am stadf grear building and noise was terrible i had to take photo and record back ground to show my friends

Room was fine, I was not made aware that the entire lobby of the hotel was being renovated and that they were jack hammering and breaking up concrete at 8 am until 6 pm. Very loud and distracting.
Staff was great, and overall they did the best they could given the circumstances.

Not very pleased with this stay. The room was dirty, one of the beds made loud noise when you moved just a bit. A lot of areas were not cleaned for a long time you can see. Also charged my card 80$ for something they couldn't even tell me why... so she canceled it. WEIRD. Definitely won't be staying here again.

I over looked construction but then i got told kids only use pool from 6:30 pm to 10pm
This was priblem since we had tournament at kbs center driday thru sunday evening an i had to be in an out an times free it wasnt available this was one reason i choose this place. Second there was hemp smells in areas like elevator an halls . Then 3rd charged 1500 a day to park cause they dont own parking lot who builds without access to parking lot. Fourth no sugar for coffee. 5th reason only takes credit cards so kids didnt get to buy snacks we only brought cash . Last i was up at 6:30 no coffee. Till 7:30 so drove ti vlises marthin to get coffee. For 119.00 a night. You would think it be worth it but in my option never again .i was even told i would only get charged for 1 day parking well at chrck out no i payed 30.00 so they lied to me there as well. We had party if 5. There was only 2 large towels 2 hand towels in room i could understand 1 short or 2 but 3 should at least be in room an a card explaining how to use wifi no i had to call desk.Breakfast i give a 3. Taters was cold as if they been warmed hours before lighting in dinning an all no goid

No additional sheets/pillows/blankets for the sofa bed, paper thin walls and ceiling. Nothing on Expedia stated the entire property was under construction! Worst money I spent on my entire trip.

Staff were great. I didn’t realoze when we booked that the hotel was under a major renovation. Half of the hotel was tarped and there was a lot of dust on the air an on the surfaces. We check in just before 4pm and we were notified that the water was off until 5pm. At 6pm it was still off and I went to the front to inquire. The gentleman was so apologetic and offered a refund if we decided to go elsewhere for the night . We returned to our room and were looking at other hotel options. During this time the water came back on. We stayed for the remainder of our booking but it’s certainly not the experience we’re used to when we’ve stayed here previously.

The lady at the front desk was a sweetheart. As our attempt to check in early failed only because the room wasn’t ready yet, she gave us directions and restaurant ideas so we could have a nice meal and drinks before the game.
The room was clean and inviting. The complementary drinks and great breakfast was a plus!!

The property is in a nice quiet area close to the UK campus. However, while we were there it was under construction. The staff was very nice, apologetic and informative of this situation. Approximately half of the hotel was under construction and made the upper levels difficult to navigate because of some of the areas being roped off.

The breakfast in the mornings and snack/drinks at 5pm were nice. The bartender was very friendly and easy to talk to.

I would stay here again and hope the construction is done by the time I am back in town.

Checked in to be told no water for about 30 mins, ended up being closer to 1 1/2 hours. A couple hours later had to shower in tepid water and the bathroom floor flooded because of a slow drain. The next morning still no hot water so I had yo wash my face and wet my hair down with tepid water again. Absolutely horrible stay. I visit Lexington often and will not stay there again.

The breakfast was very over done and not appetizing. Checked in on a Sunday and that night we got a piece of paper slid under the door telling us the water would be shut off the following day between 9-5. No one told me this at check in. I was there one night and couldn’t stay u til check out because there was no water. It was quite frustrating and ruined my experience there. The property was beautiful and in fall colors but the staff not telling people and sneaking a paper under the door was terrible customer service.
