They are doing everything on the cheap. They don’t have enough towels and no one seems to be in a hurry to fix the problem. On Saturday we put out towels outside the room, which is what they asked us to do. Apparently they don’t come in the room anymore and no one ever brought us towels. We had to wait till after lunch on Sunday to get a towel to take a shower. Ridiculous!I can’t believe a Hilton property would not have enough towels for the guest. Everything that you asked seem to be very laborious for them to do. I’ve stayed there in the past to visit family, but won’t do it again we’ll find somewhere else.

Solid 4⭐️ stay near Jackson. We book a suite for our family of 4 and a single king bed for our nanny each time traveling through Jackson. Easy access to I20 and nearby food options, onsite bar and “market” options,” and large, clean rooms. Can’t be beat for the price!

The rooms and staff was great. But the after hours people at the bar, had all the decent parking that should have been for paying customers. We had to park around the parameters of the hotel, someone tried to break in car. Had to get a locksmith cause vehicle went into theft mode.

The check in was nice and so was the room. The shower on the other hand was not clean, not even hosed off. There were lots of tiny hairs, most likely pubic, gross for a Hilton affiliate. Have stayed here before and never have I encountered that. Definitely will not stay here again. Front desk just said “sorry, let us know if there are any other issues”.

The hotel could be quite nice the front desk staff and restaurant staff were lovely. However despite repeatedly notifying the front desk the housekeeping staff never came to clean our room during out 3 night stay We had to get towels from the front desk and tried to get coffee pods for the morning but they had none It was disappointing for a Hilton property. I saw paperwork at the front desk indicating that our room had received “full service”. Had they ever come in they would have found the tip left each day on the bed pillows but no one ever did

The hotel had a smell as if there were sewer issues on the first floor. The first room I was assigned had hair in the shower floor and sink. The air vent was full of dust and lent. I was very disappointed. Thankfully we were moved to another room but was not offered any compensation for our inconvenience for having been placed in an unsafe environment.

The room was spotless and perfect, with everything in order. The only incident was a smoke bomb that was set off during an event. That being said, the attendant Tabitha handled it like a champ for all of the concerned customers. My hat is off to you for having employees like her on duty when there is a crisis situation

Room service did not stop by, the cleaner in the hall had no towels, he called for towels then I called for towels, she said there were none downstairs, waited 45 minutes, and never received them. I went to the second floor to ask that cleaner and she was no where to be found, I just took some out of a dirty room. I don’t even understand why she had alol the clean towels and all of her rooms was still dirty. Clean towels on the shelf with dirty on the floor and a guest waiting for towels.! Make it make sense.! Then it was a dog barking like crazy and when we reported it they said no one had checked in with a dog. It stopped for 1 night and was back the next day. The room furniture had stains everywhere and I move the coffee maker and it was full of dirt.! Horrible experience won’t be there again.!

At check in, the attendant seemed distracted and gave me conflicting information and was finally able to check me in.
The room door would not lock and a maintenance came while we were gone and removed all the insides of the lock. It would then lock from the outside but not inside. We asked for another room and received one. This morning, I realized the electrical outlet near the coffee pot was broken so I moved the coffee pot to another outlet but it still wouldn't work.
I really expected better from a Hilton and was greatly disappointed.

Parking was very crowded and there was a couple of major events in the area that led to many people being inconsiderate in how they parked. The lobby area was very noisy due to people gathering to drink/celebrate their teams victory. Water pressure was quite low on the fourth floor and the bathroom was not fresh. I expected better.

I stayed Friday to Sunday and I asked for my room to be cleaned and no one cleaned it Saturday morning. Everyone I came across said it wasn’t on their list. I asked one of the young ladies for towels and she said ok and I never got them. I called the front desk Saturday asking for towels and she said when maintenance came she would tell them. I called her back later that evening and she said maintenance didn’t come and she would find someone but I never heard back. So I just used the towels I had already used and put on the floor cause I thought once I came back my room would be clean. This isn’t my first time staying here. I’ve stayed here multiple times in the past and never had this problem. Then there was strings of hair left on the bathroom floor and in the shower.

The rooms and facilities were fine for our needs. Interactions with front desk staff were inconsistent and, in one case, we experienced an openly rude response.

Our door keys for one room had to be reprogrammed every time we used them, and no one was ever able to fix the issue, nor did they offer to issue new cards. When we needed additional towels, no clean towels of any size other than washcloths were available.

We stay at Hilton properties often, including Hilton Garden Inns. This was by far the most disappointing experience we have had.

Tub was chipped; the sliding bathroom door was broken and would not stay closed; cracked bathroom sink; broken window shade; room cleaning service was unavailable after 3pm; No large towels available when requested; Elevator floors were dirty. This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at this location and was disappointed the 1st time but because Hilton always exemplifies excellent service I decided to give it another chance but unfortunately, I left disappointed again.

The restroom bath top of ceiling painting was peeling off. .The back of the bed the wood was coming apart.
The restroom needed a bit more cleaning . Stains on the sofa that could have easily been sponged off was still there.

Once I arrived, I was put in a dirty room that the house keeper said had been dirty since Friday. When me and my kids went in , I told them that it wasn’t clean. Before we turned around and walked out good, the housekeeper was opening the door with the master key. I went down stairs to report it. They assigned me to another room that wasn’t clean. I went and reported again. The housekeeper manager had an attitude, but it wasn’t my fault. The room I finally got, the phone was not working and the toilet had a leak. I will never stay there again and I’m going to report them to the corporate office.

Disappointed This Time – Hope It Was Just a One-Off

I’ve always stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clinton/Jackson and usually have a great experience, but this recent 4-night stay was disappointing. There was no full-service housekeeping during the stay — no sheet changes, no trash pickup, and we had to request towels every day.

When we first arrived, the sliding bathroom door wouldn’t close, the phone didn’t work, and the air conditioning stopped working that night. There was also no shower gel in the room. Thankfully, the maintenance guy was prompt and very kind — he fixed the issues quickly.

On the third day, I had to ask for towels twice. One older front desk staff member with short hair and glasses was not helpful and told me to go find the housekeeping staff myself. When I did, the housekeeper had an attitude and told me she was leaving for the day. Thankfully, a younger receptionist and the younger housekeeper (it was her first day) helped resolve the issue and was much more understanding.

I understand some workers didn’t come in for housekeeping but no need for attitudes. On the morning of checkout, the two front desk ladies — I believe one was a manager — were both very sweet and apologetic.

This was my first less-than-stellar experience at this location, and I hope it was just an off week. I’ve always enjoyed staying here in the past, and I hope things improve moving forward.

Our first room was not clean and in disrepair. The room we were moved to was not serviced during our entire 4 night stay - bed not made, towels not exchanged and trash not emptied. I told management I wanted my bill adjusted to reflect the lack of service and I was told the GM would call me - she did not, and also told I would need to take it up with Expedia since I had not booked directly with Hilton. So much for Hilton Honors advantages.

It wasn't, but the clerk at the front desk upgraded us to a suite for the same rate to compensate us for the inconvenience. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7, but the morning we were there it was delayed until 7:30 (could be a big deal for those needing someone where to be).
