My stay was disappointing. The front entrance floor mats were extremely dirty, creating a poor first impression. I was assigned a room that had not been cleaned and had a strong, unpleasant odor. The front desk was often unattended, and when I rang the bell for assistance, the staff member was rude and unwelcoming.

The complimentary parking was a positive feature. However, breakfast was disappointing because the hot water was only lukewarm. In addition, the shower in my room never produced truly hot water, making for an uncomfortable experience.

Overall, the cleanliness, customer service, and maintenance issues significantly affected my stay.

Location was nicely placed, in walking distance of Target & a few other shopping centers. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Quick Check in, Great location and Friendly staff. HOWEVER, I will not be returning to this property. The property is in great need of repairs/upgrades, towels were thin, dingy and no where near hotel quality. Pool was filthy and unavailable for anyone to enjoy. Random furniture was sporadically placed throughout the outside of the property. I stayed at this property about 3 years ago and it was fine. It was sad to see how quickly it has been run down.

The gentleman who check me in was RUDE! He talked to me like I was a child. I would have left then but the room fee was none refundable.

In addition:
The bathroom was dirty.
The towels were dirty.
The carpet was dirty and frayed.
The ceiling plaster was falling down.
There were crumbs on the floor and chairs.
The sprinklers were rusting and didn’t look like they would work.
The blinds were stained.
They had the nerve to charge a $50 deposit!

I was very disappointed and didn’t get any sleep. I checked out early the next morning. I absolutely would not recommend staying at there!!!

Our room was very comfortable. The AC kept up even though it was crazy hot outside. Breakfast was really good. Sausage eggs and biscuits. 2 waffel makers and plenty of toastable foods. Down side was that my daughters had to do some laundry and the washer barely spun the water out so they never actually dried and had to be put in a bag to take home wet and rewash. The morning check out person was rude and you could hear her making comments about guests to other guests at the counter.

I’m very surprised Hilton has their name stamped on this property. I have never had to write a bad review because I’m not hard to please, but this property was terrible. The first room I was put in the toilet was not clean and there was hair on the floor and the counter had not been wiped. I went to the front desk and had to wait for the attendant to come back. This was in the evening around 7 PM. I told him what I found so he put me in another room. I go in to the second room and the toilet had paper in it, and Hair on the floor. The walls are so worn from the humidity that the stucco was falling off onto the floor and the ceilings had water damage. I picked up the remote control and the back was missing as well as one battery. I took it to the front desk and he put another battery in it and handed it back to me without trying to find a back for it or getting me a new remote. I had to hold the battery in place while changing the channel. As I was laying in the bed watching TV I noticed something was damp. I started moving around and discovered that two of the pillows on the bed were wet. WET pillows!!!! I was traveling with a pet and noticed that the grass was actually taller than her. They had not trimmed the grass in quite some time.
I’m extremely disappointed in this stay, and will pay closer attention to reviews from others in the future. I absolutely would not recommend staying here no matter how cheap the rate.

This is an older hotel so don’t expect all the bells and whistles. I’ve stayed here before and the place is generally clean and well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful. Property is quiet with easy access to I-55. The problem I had with this stay was seeing some mold in my room under one of the tables and quite a bit of dust, indicating the room had not been well cleaned in some time. I’m one of those people who always brings supplies to do my own cleaning and sanitizing anyway, but this was excessive. The ice machine also had clearly not been cleaned in a while as it clearly had mold in plain sight around the spout.

My room was not clean, there was hair all over the dresser and on the floor actually hairballs as though it had never been swept. PROS: Room was spacious, clean linens and comfortable bed. Relatively quiet. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful.
CONS: Hair on the vanity, toiletries from previous guest in the shower, lint/dirt on the bathroom floor, popcorn ceiling peeling. Inroom keurig choices were green tea, and 2 decaf blends- who drinks decaf coffee in the morning? Breakfast options were oatmeal, yogurt, and waffles.
We needed a room to sleep for 1 night, and it satisfied that requirement. I would probably look for other options if I ever need to stay in Jackson.

The hotel is a very sick building. I actually plan to contact the health department in Ridgeland and report them. There is a mold problem. The hallways smell like mold and it was also really present in my room. I'm very allergic to mildew and mold so after staying there for 2 nights, I was very sick and am still sick a week later. I spoke with one of the hotel staff and they also stated that walking the halls give's them a headache so it's definitely not right for the staff or the guests. The place should be shut down until they can correct the problem. I will never stay there again. It looks nice on the outside, but inside it's very dismal and dreary. The breakfast was not all that good either. I would clearly recommend to stay away from this hotel.

The property didn't \"feel\" like a safe place for my family (regardless of if it was safe for other families). There were people drinking in the parking lot while working on vehicles. There were doors left open in the hall to the dark and cluttered maintenence room and laundry room. It looked like one of those scenes in a movie where people could get snatched. I know these things aren't inherently sketchy, but they COULD be, especially considering I have small children. I would not have felt self walking to the lobby or going out to my car alone or with my kids. This may be acceptable to some people and that is fine and nothing may have happened, but for $100+ a night, I would expect better. Also, we were in the area having just bought a brand new car. I didn't want to leave it out and around people who were actively drinking in case anything would have happened.

Verified traveler

As a travel nurse and avid traveler, I have stayed in many hotels. This, by far, was the most HORRIBLE stay I have ever had at any hotel in my life. I booked here because I assumed that Wyndham had a decent reputation. Upon entering the room, it smelled like mold. The carpet and side of the bed had large stains, and the bathroom was dirty with hair left in the sink. I asked to change rooms, and when I returned from dinner to go to sleep, the bed in the new room had 2 LIVE INSECTS on the sheets. I ended up having to book a room at another hotel just to get a couple of hours of rest before getting back on the road. The front desk staff was rude and unconcerned regarding the issues in both rooms.

I also asked to speak with the hotel manager (Jamie Ferguson), who informed me that the general manager (Kenny) \"said that there can be no compensation for the stay\". She also stated that she could not provide the contact information for \"Kenny\". I would not advise ANYONE to book here, and I will never book with Wyndham again going forward.

Check in was quick and easy. When you walk towards the elevator, you can smell a foul odor and then it’s (odor) in the elevator. Elevator is dirty and the stainless steel is STAINED. Hotel room smelled like someone lived there with several pets. Room smelled terrible. Urine, poop, food, and whatever else has been on the floor. Hardwood floors and bathroom floor was sticky. Smoke detectors wires hanging. Holes in the wall near shower head. The hotel appears to be understaffed. I think housekeeping replenishes tissue, empties trash and changes bed linens, towels.
