There was nearly nothing to complain about at this hotel, the staff were very friendly and the room was in excellent condition. The air conditioning worked extremely well and we were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast, but their waffles were outstanding. Would visit again if traveling through.

The breakfast was not the best, eggs were very watery, not much of a selection either. My room was not clean, there was hair all over the dresser and on the floor actually hairballs as though it had never been swept. Coffee station was a mess....toilet paper rack and a rail in the shower was loose. It just wasn't up to Wyndham standards in my opinion. Also I don't know if the staff was just tired or what but were not very friendly.

Checkout is 11am..breakfast clised at 9am, really? Security lock on door didnt work..had to change rooms. Air conditioning was noisy..never again. Doors squaked like crazy, guess they've never heard of WD 40. Too lazy to fix large gap in vinyl plank flooring. Forein ownership of course, Wyndam downhill

PROS: Room was spacious, clean linens and comfortable bed. Relatively quiet. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful.
CONS: Hair on the vanity, toiletries from previous guest in the shower, lint/dirt on the bathroom floor, popcorn ceiling peeling. Inroom keurig choices were green tea, and 2 decaf blends- who drinks decaf coffee in the morning? Breakfast options were oatmeal, yogurt, and waffles.
We needed a room to sleep for 1 night, and it satisfied that requirement. I would probably look for other options if I ever need to stay in Jackson.

I have a family of 7 & the room we had was spacious for us all. There was a small stain on 1 out of the 8 pillows that were on the bed. I just simply removed the pillow casing off of it. 1 of the towels had a stsin as well. A stain that wouldn't come out if you washed it. We simply just didn't use that towel. No biggie.

The hotel is a very sick building. I actually plan to contact the health department in Ridgeland and report them. There is a mold problem. The hallways smell like mold and it was also really present in my room. I'm very allergic to mildew and mold so after staying there for 2 nights, I was very sick and am still sick a week later. I spoke with one of the hotel staff and they also stated that walking the halls give's them a headache so it's definitely not right for the staff or the guests. The place should be shut down until they can correct the problem. I will never stay there again. It looks nice on the outside, but inside it's very dismal and dreary. The breakfast was not all that good either. I would clearly recommend to stay away from this hotel.

The property didn't \"feel\" like a safe place for my family (regardless of if it was safe for other families). There were people drinking in the parking lot while working on vehicles. There were doors left open in the hall to the dark and cluttered maintenence room and laundry room. It looked like one of those scenes in a movie where people could get snatched. I know these things aren't inherently sketchy, but they COULD be, especially considering I have small children. I would not have felt self walking to the lobby or going out to my car alone or with my kids.This may be acceptable to some people and that is fine and nothing may have happened, but for $100+ a night, I would expect better. Also, we were in the area having just bought a brand new car. I didn't want to leave it out and around people who were actively drinking in case anything would have happened.

Rm 227 shower was busted on the back wall , front desk male rude . They stole my cake that was left on the desk. Not clean . They clean when I wasn’t in the room and took my cake . Also we gotten stuck in the elevator for like 15-20mins . I really didn’t have a good stay here and wish I could get my refund .. I’ll stay here again . Don’t ask the front desk clerk anything . He will walk off .

No curtain, only a blind on window. I was on the 1st floor and felt like people could see in plus it was bright in room at night from outside lights than in the day time. Every time you go to from desk there is a sign “be back 5-10 minutes “. My friend walked into a dirty room and had to be changed.

As a travel nurse and avid traveler, I have stayed in many hotels. This, by far, was the most HORRIBLE stay I have ever had at any hotel in my life. I booked here because I assumed that Wyndham had a decent reputation. Upon entering the room, it smelled like mold. The carpet and side of the bed had large stains, and the bathroom was dirty with hair left in the sink. I asked to change rooms, and when I returned from dinner to go to sleep, the bed in the new room had 2 LIVE INSECTS on the sheets. I ended up having to book a room at another hotel just to get a couple of hours of rest before getting back on the road. The front desk staff was rude and unconcerned regarding the issues in both rooms.

I also asked to speak with the hotel manager (Jamie Ferguson), who informed me that the general manager (Kenny) \"said that there can be no compensation for the stay\". She also stated that she could not provide the contact information for \"Kenny\". I would not advise ANYONE to book here, and I will never book with Wyndham again going forward.

Check in was quick and easy. When you walk towards the elevator, you can smell a foul odor and then it’s (odor) in the elevator. Elevator is dirty and the stainless steel is STAINED. Hotel room smelled like someone lived there with several pets. Room smelled terrible. Urine, poop, food, and whatever else has been on the floor. Hardwood floors and bathroom floor was sticky. Smoke detectors wires hanging. Holes in the wall near shower head. The hotel appears to be understaffed. I think housekeeping replenishes tissue, empties trash and changes bed linens, towels. I don’t think they mop or swiffer.

The hotel looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The staff was friendly. However our room was awful. The smoke detectors had been removed from the ceiling. The sprinklers had been covered and wrapped with plastic. The floors and showers were dirty. You couldn’t shut the bathroom door. The room smelled of mildew and everything seemed damp. We asked for an extra blanket for our sons crib and it wasn’t delivered until 11pm when we were already asleep and they rudely banged on the door. If it wasn’t for our tired toddler we would have left and found a different hotel.

Wow. Where do I even begin? This place is a masterpiece in how not to run a hotel. We landed late, exhausted, hoping for sleep before early meetings. Instead, we got a comedy of horrors.

First room: my colleague opens his door—roaches sprinting across the floor like they were late for a meeting. He crushed one under his shoe. My door? Locked from the inside, as if even the room itself was trying to protect me from entering.

We trudge downstairs. Another poor guy is already begging for a new room because his was filthy. The clerk—clearly higher than a space shuttle launch—hands us new keys. Second attempt: pull back the covers, find half an eyelash on the sheets and what looks like dried vomit in the corner. Lovely.

The hotel only refunded 1 day instead of the prepaid 2 days. At that point, even Expedia felt sorry for us. They eventually refunded both nights, though it took some wrangling.

And let’s not forget the lobby entertainment: a woman in barely-there clothes clinging to her “manager.” Real five-star ambience.

Bottom line: if your dream vacation involves roach races, mystery stains, and lobby floor shows, this is your spot. Otherwise, spend more than $10 and avoid staying longer than 30 minutes. This dump should be stripped of its franchise yesterday.

Driving in, I wasn’t impressed as there was a family cooking on a portable grill in the parking lot at 10pm, but the hotel was nice, clean and renovated. We had a restful nights sleep and that is all that mattered. I would stay there again. We had a trailer we were pulling and need space to park it and know it was safe. This hotel checked the box!

Check in took so long. I waited over a hour. The line was long and it was only one person working with another person sitting behind the desk with feet kicked up doing nothing. The room had a foul smell and refrigerator had a ringing noise all night. As I was falling asleep, the man that checked me in, knocked on door and tried to just come into room on me but I had the inside latch on door so that stop it from opening all the way. I asked what was going on, then he said he needed my id. I said for what, and he said he thought room was empty and he checked me into a different room number. It was very scary, like he assumed I was alone cause I checked in by myself (husband waited in the truck) and just tried to come in the room on me. My husband really wanted to leave at that point cause that was very suspect. Because even if you did make a mistake in the computer system and gave me wrong room, why wasn’t it a customer trying to come in room? It was the man that did my check-in trying to come into room to on me.

This hotel is fine for a quick, one night stay somewhere just to sleep and shower, but other than that it wouldn’t be my first choice. The door to the room was hard to open, there were cracks in the ceiling and walls, the carpet was damaged and so was one the chairs. The bathroom was nice and so was the TV and bed. There was also an overpowering smell that was annoying. It didn’t smell “bad” per se but it wasn’t appealing to me and it permeated throughout the entire hotel. There’s a complimentary breakfast included between 6am and 9am. Overall it wasn’t my favorite hotel but I’ve definitely stayed at worse places.
