Everything. After checking in around 8pm, didnt get the room i booked, 2 doubles and a king, instead we got 2 kings and a sofa sleeper. Wife had to sleep on sofa sleeper, went to ask abt it, front desk clerk told us the clerk from morning shift swapped us.

We are out of town and are at the mercy of the hotel so not much we could do. After settling in, one of the girls went to shower only to find hair in it, then found hair all over one of the beds, sheets had stains, one of the toilet had poop stains on it,It was like no one even cleaned the room. By this time it was midnite, went down to front desk to get new sheets.

Spoke to i guess a manager the next day, was told tht they swapped the room long ago but had no way to contact us to let us know bc we booked thru a 3rd party. But thts not wat the clerk told us when we went to ask abt our room at chk in. Like i mentioned above, the room was changed tht morning according to the clerk. So im guessing the hotel manager was trying to deflect blame elsewhere. Someone should be held responsible, this was unacceptable and not professional at all. Will never stay at hilton property again. Ty

I will never stay at this location again. I called to see how early I could check in. The lady said callback at 1. I called back & was told my room was available. Arrived 45 minutes later. Checked in & unloaded the luggage. I wanted to see the room before taking our stuff up. The room wasn’t cleaned. The beds weren’t made & trash was in the room. I told the front desk. She called someone to find out what’s going on. Then she told me the room wouldn’t be ready until 3. We had to sit in the lobby & wait. It was after 3 & she told me they got another room available so I won’t be going to the original room #331 because she didn’t know when it would be ready. They moved me to 115. Entered the room. Sanitized everything & unpacked our stuff. The air wasn’t working. At this time it’s a guy at the front desk. He wasn’t friendly at all. He had me standing there for a while. He then told me they had 215 available. I told him I wanted to check it out 1st. I had somewhere to be and he refused to let me move rooms when I got back. So I had to move right away and they didn’t offer to help me. I stayed here 6 days and 5 night no one came to clean my room. They told me I was only scheduled for stay over which is crazy. They had no garbage bags. I purchased my own tissue and garbage bags. It was like pulling teeth to get towels. The breakfast was about the only enjoyable thing. This was my 2nd time staying here in over 5 years. I had an issue that time as well but this time was worse.

Called ahead and informed staff we were going to be late arriving. Also requested they have accommodations of towels in the room for the number of people in our party.
Arrived had to wait for 14 minutes before anyone checked us in. Got to the room and had to go back downstairs for towels. The room was dirty and looked like someone tried to just put lipstick on an old cow. The floors looked horrible In the room the elevator and the hall. It looked like an old building some tried to cheaply fix up. The sofa sleeper mattress was stained and wore out. Would no go back or recommend. Expected more and have received better out of other Hilton properties.

The first suite was horrible the snick leak the tub dripped there was someone else’s toothbrush and toothpaste on the tub. The bathroom just had not been cleaned completely. There was a horrible smell throughout the hotel the elevator was old and noisy, made a crick and sound like he was just going to stop. I have never been at a Hilton that was so BAD.

Was told at check-in the room would be cleaned every other day. There 4 days with no service. I was told to put towels outside the door. I did and the towels were taken but never replaced. The furniture was uncomfortable and the mattress was lumpy. Won't stay at this location again

The pictures made the room look bigger than what it was. We got the king size suite with the sofa bed. I wish it wasnt such a tight squeeze. But the staff and food quality made up for it honestly. They were so nice and the breakfast was delicious! Thank yall for such a wonderful experience!

The room needs to be modernized. The bed was comfortable but there were stains on the sheets. The room had an odor and the bathroom was horrible. The ceiling had stains not sure if it was mold or not and the closet had a mildew smellaswell as the bathroom. I had to actually go get some air freshner because the smell was that bad.

When we first checked in, they told us that their washer broke, but they were bringing us towels shortly. Ok, things happen. Our first room had unmade beds, so they gave us another one. That room had beds made, but overall the room was dirty. I realized after our first night, there was snot by the tv on the wall. We never got towels when we got back into our room around 5 pm. We called and asked for some. We finally got 2 towels for 3 people! The front desk person said that’s all that they had!

Breakfast was chaotic. It opens at 7 am, but it’s not ready at 7. They are still setting up breakfast if they turn on all of the items.

Not the same as the week before

This was the 2nd stay in this hotel in a week. We stayed overnight driving through as part of a week vacation and again for one night on the way home. The first stay was great. We had the same expectation, especially for nearly $240 for a short night stay arriving at 6:30pm and leaving by 9:30 am. We were disappointed to say the least. Immediately upon arrival, the room smelled musty. The bedroom had carpet tiles that were rolled up and a tripping hazard, there was approximately 1/4 roll of toilet tissue and no spare roll, 2 towel sets, the bathroom door wouldn't close, mold on the bathroom wall, toilet wobbled and banged against the wall and the shower/tub dripped all night. The guest services did respond with additional towels and toilet tissue. I guess we just expected more for the price and a recent stay that was much better.

The rooms are spacious, the facilities need some TLC. The door was super hard to open, the walls weren’t soundproofed even a little bit, when the storm woke me at 11 and I called to ask for a late check out I realized the phone didn’t work, then the front desk clerk was rude, they were out of toothpaste at the front desk, the beds were comfortable and check in and out through the app was nice. The remodeled rooms were well styled and laid out.

Overall, not a great experience. Booked a 2 bedroom suite that would fit 7 people, but was given a 1 bedroom suite with a single pull-out couch that could only reasonably sleep 5. Only 2 towels in a room supposedly meant for 7 people. Phone did not work so had to go down to lobby to ask for more. Were told they were currently out but would bring some later. They ended up bringing us 5 additional hand towels rather than any full-size ones. Only half the outlets worked.

The best part about this place is the best restaurant Ive ever been to in my life is across the street. MM Shapley is amazing all around and worthy of Michelin rating and or Beard award. Never recommended by hotel staff.

Rooms were...ok. amenities hot water workable shower and equipment. Until I woke up at 2 am itching all over and with welts on my legs and ankles. Pretty sure these were bed bugs. Over a dozen blister like welts up to the size of a dime on each leg in a row. I mentioned to staff in the AM and they said they would get it taken care of. I still itch and the bites are still there.
Worst experience ever. No comp offer or anything. Desk said they would ask management to defer points on Hilton rewards. Nothing happened. Shouldnt have paid at all.

The hotel was not to our satisfactory at all. We had several issues during our stay. The lighting in the den was dim. The lighting in the kitchen was motion activated and only stayed on for a few seconds. The motion device was hidden over the microwave. It was difficult to locate. The kitchen sink leaked water on the floor. The sofa had stains on it. The sofa bed had no sheets. The telephone did not work. The pots were dirty. There was a smell in the room when we walked in. The elevator stopped working during our stay. We arrived at the breakfast buffet approximately 30 minutes after it started and they were out of some items and did not replenish.

The clerk at the front desk was extremely rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to assist with an issue. The carpet had not been vacuumed and had particles including hair, popcorn, paper pieces and dirt particles. The bathroom light did not work. The hallways smelled and the elevators were nasty. Uncomfortable stay no sleep and cold showers

The experience was uncomfortable because of the water temperature, my daughter took a shower at 7pm after checking in and the water never warmed up. We were thinking maybe there was high usage due to the time of day and decided to try the water again at 5am the next morning. When we tried again the water never warmed up without having to be ran through the tub faucet versus the shower head.
Each time the toilet was flushed there was a puddle of water. This made us use our original towels. When we asked for more they were readily available.

We also had trouble sleeping due to the guest whose room was on the opposite side of our wall. Beginning around 11:40 or so there was loud music and partying. We tried calling the front desk operator for 15 mins without a response before we went down stairs to the desk at midnight. When I got there she was seated in the office area . I shared the concerns about calling but not receiving an answer along with the noise concerns. She apologized about the phone and responded to the noise complaint. I shared with her that if we heard the noise again and couldn’t get in touch with the desk we would call in the complaint to the police department.
I got back to the room at 12:10 and was able to sleep until 1:40 when the parting and music started back. I tried calling the front desk but no response from there I called the police dep.

Such a disappointing stay. To start, the room said it slept 7, but where? There were 2 full sized beds in the bedroom (without a door, so no really a separate bedroom as described) and a pullout couch that was smaller then a full and only slightly bigger then a twin sized mattress. The hotel is clearly under construction. The first night we were in a room without air-conditioning. It was over 80 degrees even with the windows open and ceiling fan on. We were moved to a new room the second day with a dysfunctional microwave that beeped and flashed lights all night. And since there was no door on the bedroom, no one slept (either night. It's really hard to sleep in a pile of sweat). I had wiped up some water on the bathroom floor and the rag was literally black. Not to mention, the room pictured (and subsequently paid for) showed TWO bedrooms, which the hotel said didn't exist. Overall, terrible. I wouldn't go there again. Run down. No quality control. Dirty. Wasn't worth the over $200 a night.

From the moment we checked in with a very unfriendly, cold front desk person, to the moment we checked out - two days early to move to a different hotel because this one was terrible - the place was a terrible experience. We were supposed to stay for four nights for a tennis tournament, but after two I couldn’t stand it so we moved. The bathroom was disgusting - filthy tub, gross corners, old shower curtain, etc. Oh, and the lights in the hotel make you feel like you’re in a hospital at night. They’re bright white - and I mean BRIGHT - and it’s depressing and cold. I rarely write reviews, but this place is a dump with terrible front desk service.

The hi light of our stay at the Homewood was the MM Shapley restaurant located across the street. Excellent food, wine and service! Our hotel room was comfortable enough. However, it was very noisy until 9:00 pm due to guests swimming until pool closing. The room phone wasn’t working so I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk regarding the pool closing time. Also a shortage of towels (only 1 bath towel in our room)also due to the swimming pool users. Other than that, the breakfast was good. I would give the Homeeood another chance just because of the nearby restaurant!

When I booked this room, it had a Fabulous rating( when I was asked to rate it, it only had a good rating) so I was expecting the very best hotel that I had ever booked through Hotels.com. I was sadly disappointed when the first room that we were put in had a major coming from the ceiling of one of the bedrooms in the suite and the other had no air coming through the vent. We were moved across the hall to the same type of suite but it had the same problem with the air in the master bedroom. We called once again to see what could be done and the maintenance people worked on it for an hour before saying that it was fixed (all the while we’re sitting in the kitchenette thinking they’ll probably move us again but no. Thank goodness that there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms because the air was not coming through the vent like they said. Other than that it was clean and comfortable. Just not as nice as I was expecting since it was a Hilton.

The state of our room was clean but the hotel was showing signs of age with its carpets and one section was closed for remodeling. The breakfast was not well attended. We had to ask both mornings for coffee to be made and though breakfast was supposed to run until 10:00 am, both mornings, most food was gone by 9:15 am and not replenished.

There is open damage in the TV room to the baseboard. Digital key didn't work. Out of the three remotes in the suite, one was obviously physically broken in pieces, the volume didn't work on another, and the third worked fine.

Breakfast was good and covered a multitude of sins. Front desk attendant was nice.

It was very noisy. Toilet didn’t flush. Breakfast was supposed to last til 10am. It was empty by 930am and not a soul in sight to refill it. Even the coffee was gone by 10am. Ice machines were empty…people were filling big ice chests. Definitely need to find another hotel as we travel to Jackson often.

I enjoyed my stay. I was hesitant with the few bad reviews but my stay was almost perfect. The staff was friendly. I didn't get her name but she was cleaning the dining area, when i was checking out. She was very nice and helpful. The only issue I had, was at checkout. The manager or whomever he was. Was on my case about moving my car because they was getting ready to pave the parking lot. I felt like that was rude. They wasn't even getting started. So I had time to check out, THEN go to my car. Instead of making more than one trip. I thought that was the most logical solution. Even the employee thought that was rude. Other than that. I enjoyed my stay.

Terrible property conditions and facilities the staff and service was poor. They overcharged the price of my room and promised to refund the extra money and this never happened. I do not recommend them.

It was a good stay, but the TV didn't work and I had to go to the first floor to contact the desk clerk because my phone in the room wasn't working. There wasn't anyone who could come and check it out since the person had gone home. Bed slept good and everything else was fine. It was my birthday getaway with my husband but none of that ruin my 71st birthday.

Southern Hospitality At It’s Finest!

Courteous and professional front desk staff. Due to my husband’s disability, the agent took me to the room before checking in to make sure it would work. The room was beautiful and spacious and very clean. Excellent hot breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Power outage

The power went out around 3am, fire truck out front and I could hear a distance fire alarm. Nobody came around to tell us what was going on, no one at the front desk. Luckily we still had hot water to take a shower. Finally found out someone had hit a pole near the hotel so half the hotel was without power. They were unable to serve breakfast which I understand but they offered us no compensation since it was not their fault.
