Vanessa was AMAZING and so was the maintenance man with the tattoo on his neck! Them 2 definitely made everything welcoming and nice for our stay. Even though the pool took 48 hours to clean they still let us swim next door down the street. Amazing stay!

This is my **third stay here this year**, and it will definitely be my last.
During my **second stay**, our room was still being worked on when we arrived. A maintenance worker actually walked into our room because he didn't know it had already been assigned. The toilet was broken, and there were orange peels under the bed that were so obvious my 5-year-old noticed them immediately.
Unfortunately, this stay has been even more disappointing. The photos I attached were taken today (7/3/26). The first room we were assigned smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, so we requested another room. The second room smelled better, but when we went into the bathroom, we were shocked by what we found.
I had specifically booked a suite with a separate bedroom and living room, as advertised. The front desk associate initially told me I hadn't booked that type of room and tried to assign us something different. When I asked her how much the drinks cost, instead of answering, she simply pointed me to a piece of paper. It wasn't the biggest issue of the stay, but it reflected the level of customer service we received.
The replacement room also had obvious issues. The kitchen floor was visibly buckled, appeared to have recent water damage, and was still wet. The condition of the bathroom was unacceptable, and I honestly don't even know where to begin describing it.
At this point, we're just trying to make it through the night.

Short Version: okay hotel with very poor management and customer service. Breakfast is the highlight.
Long Version: This is a nice and decently clean hotel. They are also pet friendly. However, it is very poorly managed and the workers have poor English proficiency. When we arrived, we noticed a sign that said the pool was closed. We told the person at the desk that we specifically booked this hotel for the pool and had intended to spend part of our second day in the pool and most of the third day in the pool. We mentioned we could just stay the one night and find a hotel somewhere else with a pool. She guaranteed that the pool would be open the next day. The next day we were told it would be open in the evening. It was not. The third day the signs were gone, but the lock was on the gate. When we asked, they said it would be open at 10. At 10 we were told it would be 12. We finally decided to find another place that we could swim at a cost. When we returned that night they were finally giving out passes to another pool in a different place as the pool was still closed. On top of that, we stayed 3 days and were never offered for our room to be cleaned, and 2 hours after asking for new towels, we brought the dirty towels to a room service personnel to have them swapped from their cart. If we had not done this, we would not have received clean towels We ended up finding an unattended cart in the hall way to take clean towels to even have any for the next day.

When I checked in, the staff was very friendly. I had to change rooms twice. The first room a roach crawling up the wall in the bathroom. Then a roach was crawling on the floor in the kitchen. I went back down stairs told the receptionist, she immediately put me into another room, no hassle. The second room, I walk to the bathroom and the first thing I see is dirty towels on the floor by the toilet, night stand dirty with some sort of dry sticky liquid on the top. Then I went to the kitchen, dirty dishes, plates, glasses, and a bottle half full of water put up inside the cabinets. Needless to say, the couch was filthy with stains all over it. I went back down stairs told the receptionist, again with no hassle, she put me into another room. The third room had dirty dishes inside the dishwasher. Only because I didn’t see any roaches, I decided to stay just for the night because I just came off a 10.5 hr drive. I was to tired so the next day I checked out that hotel and checked into the Homewood Suites. The crazy part about it, I like the Staybridge Hotels. When I was traveling with my job while on detailed, I stayed in the Staybridge Hotels and never had any problems. They need to hire a new cleaning staff.

I really liked the location of this hotel. It was a little smaller than I expected, but I can’t complain because it had everything we needed. The room was well-equipped, the coffee was surprisingly good, and the complimentary breakfast was great.

The only thing that disappointed me was the front desk experience. I believe the woman who checked us in may have been the owner. She wasn’t rude at all, but she didn’t seem very welcoming either. She simply completed the check-in process without much interaction. A warm greeting or a friendly smile would have made the experience feel much more inviting.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and with a more welcoming front desk experience, it would have been even better.

The property overall is dirty! The smell is so overwhelming at the lobby, and in the room. Carpet was not vaccumed, floors weren’t swept or mopped. The kitchen in the room was dirty, there were crumbs on the counters, and floor. The bathroom had mold, and orange stains around tub. There was no shower curtain. We stayed for 6 long hours and couldn’t get out fast enough. Didn’t eat breakfast as I couldn’t stomach the higiene in this place.

I stayed in a two bedroom suite with my family of four. The setup of the rooms was excellent, but the room was very worn and dirty.

Upon arrival I was concerned that the parking lot was very dark with no lighting. I looked to see if security cameras were visible and they were nowhere to be seen. It could be that simply did not see them but the lot felt very unsafe.

The staff member at the desk was extremely polite and welcoming. I have nothing negative to say about that experience.

The couch appeared to have cigarette burns and many stains. The carpet was also stained and dirty. One bathroom was covered in small spiders. We killed approximately 20 spiders upon arrival and more kept appearing. We even observed them climbing out of the shower head. The spiders did appear to be contained to only the one bathroom. I will say that the beds and pillows appeared very clean and were extremely comfortable.

The hospitality area was also dirty. The ceiling was literally falling in, large clumps of hair on the floor leading up to the area. The waffle station was a plus and my kids loved the muffins. I appreciated that high protein yogurt and cheese omelets, sausage and hash browns were available. The coffee was plentiful and drinkable.

Overall not the best experience and I wouldn’t stay here again due to the spiders and lack of overall cleanliness. It’s hard to sleep well when you think Aragog might carry you away in the night.

As a whole, the hotel is fine but there are issues which prevented me from giving it five stars I gave it four because begin with there are a lot of ants in the room. I mean like I'm looking at my screen on this smartphone and there's an ant caller and there are more a lot of ants all over the place in the room.. breakfast is generous pleasant and very good.. there is a grab bar bathtub when you showering would you need a floor mat because not everybody can be holding a grab a bar all the while they are showering. You need a floor mat for safety. We were on the ground floor from 137 and it is not obvious how to get to the front desk for breakfast room. A simple solution is put signs on the walls pointing the way to the front. Cost almost nothing and very helpful. Finally, Wi-Fi very very slow!
It is a good hotel but a few things simple things need to be corrected as indicated above.

had a very disappointing experience with Staybridge Suites Jackson booked through Expedia.

The room had a serious cleanliness issue and was not suitable to stay in. Because of the condition of the room, I had to leave and secure other accommodations. I immediately reported the issue and was told a full refund would be issued.

However, despite multiple follow-ups, I still have not received my refund. The hotel sent a folio showing a $0.00 balance, but Expedia has confirmed there is no refund pending or processed on my reservation. A $0 folio does not mean the money was returned to my account.

I have now been going back and forth between the hotel and Expedia, and this has become extremely frustrating. Guests should not have to chase a property for weeks to get refunded for a room they could not even use.

This situation has been very unprofessional and stressful. I booked through Expedia expecting protection and assistance if something went wrong. I am still waiting for the refund that was promised.

I would strongly advise travelers to be cautious booking this property until they improve their handling of customer issues and refunds.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was quiet, and the front desk staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The location is also a big plus—close to a Target and several great restaurant options.

If I had to mention one minor drawback, it would be being woken up by housekeeping knocking on my door, before 9 a.m. for room cleaning. I appreciated their attentiveness, but the timing felt a bit early while guests are still sleeping.

That said, it’s a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it. It’s more affordable than other nearby hotels and rated better overall.

The hotel was ok. But it took them forever to return the cleaning deposit. I called after 7 business days (11 actual days) and was told no one could help me. I called after 10 business days (14 actual days) and the girl that answered explained that “it takes 3-5 business days to get your deposit back. Business days do not count the weekend.” I explained to her that it has been 10 business days and she then tried to claim my bank was not releasing my refund. I informed her that I spoke with my bank before calling her and they had no pending transaction on my account credit or charge. Then she put me on hold for ten minutes, picked the call back up and tried to start the conversation from the beginning as if I had just called and not been on hold. When I explained to her that we had already been talking she took my name, phone number and said she would call back. We were in the room less than 10 hours. We slept, brushed our teeth and left. At this point I have spent more time on the phone resolving this issue than I did in the actual room.
