Staff was friendly but appeared disorganized upon check in. Cleanliness of the Wyndham property was disappointing. Mould in the bathroom. Room floor was disgustingly dirty. Bed skirt had stains that showed it had not been washed recently. Spiders in room. And people loitering in the parking lot. Hotel properties often become old and tired looking, but I’m afraid this was more than that. This was actually dirty. Can not walk on the suite floor without shoes. Socks had to be thrown out because they were so dirty after visiting.

I reserved this room on hotels.com and it was rated 8.0/10 which is why I picked it. When we got there, it was not cleaned from the last person, it smelled like smoke and grossness, and was falling apart. There were stains on the ceiling, broken refrigerator that was leaking, stairwell was coming apart, worn down and broken parts throughout the room.

Minutes after checking in and getting to my room, i saw a rat running out of the bathroom. I asked for a refund since i didn't stay afterwards and was all but denied for it. I will no longer do hotel stays with Super 8.

This property was not clean and smelled strongly of mildew. The toilet leaked all over the floor and was dirty. There were mildew stains on the dust ruffle of the bed. The room above us was extremely loud with kids running and jumping and banging around continuously for about an hour. And this was like 11:45-12:45 am. Extremely frustrated and the only reason we didn’t leave is because I needed to try to get at least a few hours of sleep. I have heart failure and we had a very long drive in the morning. I do not think it would have one percent chance of passing a health inspection.

No pillow cases, sounds like your neighbors are sitting talking in the room with you. Watered down coffee, waffle maker without batter. I just described all the breakfast available. Reservation in advance was prepaid fully, but it took an hour between lady at front desk and manager to verify it. Mold was black on the shower curtain, plugged sink and rocking back and forth toilet. Dark lights, gross carpets. They should demolish this place.

The room was dusty. The bathroom had something black on the wall behind the door and on the shower floor as well. Burn marks on the tub. The toilet paper holder was disgusting. Was afraid something was going to bite me. It took hours for the ac to cool the room. When someone walked down the hallway i could feel it when i was laying on the bed. Overall, it needs to be inspected by sanitation or pest control or safety .
Facility itself smells, the building is dirty . Specifically the 1st room we got, as you open the door it have that pungent smell and as if you wanted to back out but you cant. When trying to put on the light, it dint work! And you can hear water dripping from the bathroom faucet and you can see insect flying around. Sanitation and ventilation is very very poor. Go to the beds and linen! It look's like unwashed. We immediately came out and asked to change room. Got changed but same condition except no insects flying. Door is with hole and bathroom door cant even close. So don't try to advertise them until unless had a go with sanitation, ventilation and safety. I didn't go with the free breakfast as we dint try the waffle served.

Night time Front desk clerk should not be attempting to clean rooms, laundry or mop floors. Just front counter and be up there ready when guest arrive.
Roaches running across walls and floors in room, dirty, washing machines must need maintenance cause it doesnt clean right so the sheets and bedding was hairy, stained bedding with holes and footprints. We had them come change the bedding and “new clean bedding” was worse. Only breakfast provided was watery waffle batter , sticky glass syrup bottle, no butter. No toiletries like shampoo and conditioner, towels were full of holes and make up stains. They sent us a text at 8AM waking us up saying “we hope you enjoyed your stay, please click the link to check out” when we was trying to sleep like we paid to do, with check out for 11AM. Front desk dude blamed the text on Wyndham. Jacuzzi had curly black pube looking hairs all over on the side and bottom. Floors dirty under tables in rooms and under sinks, especially drywall & food crumbs, hair. Dirty inside microwave in room, fridge full of rust. Dirty lamp, light fixtures, ceiling vents with years of dust. Dirty cracked ice machine that only gives one cup of ice at a time unless you push it a bunch of times and wait. We suspect potentially employees are using the rooms for personal use, because why is it that we booked our room at 9PM, checked in at 9:30PM and front desk clerk was cleaning it. First time I ever leave a hotel wanting a shower somewhere right away.

Lobby smelled of weed when I arrived. I reserved a non smoking room. When i entered my room it reeked of weed so much i had to make a trip to get some lysol. When i returned there was a blunt roach on my nightstand. Room didnt look like it had been cleaned in a good while. In the morning when I showered there was no hot water.

I suppose you get what you pay for…
It was a mess.. I would not recommend for children, families or anyone that is looking for a nice hotel..

I got the vibe that many homeless or almost homeless call it home… Since I encountered several interesting characters…. Some appearing to be on drugs and other carrying stuff i to the woods. I also saw a pitbull running down the hallways off leash.. stained sheets, burn holes in the blanket. It was quite an experience.

However, the front desk lady was incredibly sweet!!

It was utter but complete disaster. Except the over night lady who was so helpful giving all what she could do. This is a hookup hotel on all fronts plus the people living there are territorial and clickish. I went to complain about neighbor knocking/beating on the wall, the desk agent told him I said he was beating on wall. Talk about safety and discretion smh he needs ample more training. Then the water was atrocious couldn't even take a shower the turn in Valve was locked.bhad to take ho bath frfr sad. I recommend other options elsewhere

The place smelled like weed. I had to clean the bath tub and toilet before i could use them. The sheets had dirt and debris in them from where they hadn’t been changed. I had to ask for new sheets and then remake the bed. There was a layer of dust covering the room. The only clean thing was the inside of the refrigerator. The ac was on its last leg. There weren’t very many people there, and it’s very clear why.
I paid through expedia. When i got home they had charged the card i had on file for the deposit upon check in for the stay that i had already paid for. Then the clerk accidentally charged my card again while trying to recall the transaction when I called about it.

On arrival we were placed in a room that had a broken AC. It also hadn’t been cleaned after the las occupant. The building smells like water damaged carpet and urine. We were then placed in a second room that had zero linens. Beds were not made and no towels in the bath. Also dirty: the third room finally had AC as well as linens, but no shower curtain in the bath. And again, dirty. The worst stay I’ve ever had. There were several occupants along with myself having to fight for the simplest of amenities near midnight.

I have pictures of dirty sheets, burn holes in bedspread,dirty pillows, plaster on curtins, pee on toilet from a man. The 3rd floor and part of seccond floorbspells so bad of pot, i got sick. Attendant was inside his car smoking weed by the front entrance as we walked in. Place reeked of mildew and cigarettes. We got to the room and it had not been cleaned. There was trash in the sink, bathroom was missing a door knob, sheets were filthy and had cigarette burn holes. We didn’t even stay and left after 15min. This experience sucked. My key did not work. The water basically ran in the tub all night not dripped. The appliance's (hair dryer and coffeemaker) looked like tgey had dried blood on them and were dirty. The mirror was on the floor and for some reason the fridge quit working and defrosted leaving water on the floor.

It wasn’t good it’s got crackheads behind the building the floor in my room was peeling and the hot tub was leaking. I had to use a towel to contain the water and I couldn’t get more towels at the front desk. It leaked all the way under the floorboards so it was uncomfortable walking around. Didnt give me a wifi code and our sheets had holes in them i definitely don’t recommend this place

The lobby area was good. It would make you think you were going into a very nice establishment. However, once you head for the room it is down hill. The elevator had cigarette burns on the walls. The room door wouldn't lock. There were cigarette burns in the sheets. We encountered some type of bug, not sure what kind. Needless to say, I couldn't stay there especially not with my 15 year old daughter. The room looked nothing like the pictures that are posted.

First of all, the guy that checked me in was a jerk meaning trying to be cute and thought that I was alone but my sweetheart came later.. he wiped that smile off of his face.. then got to my room he gave us .. the room was never cleaned, sheets weren’t changed... the Potty seat still had BM ring from the last person sitting on the seat plus the walls had watery BM where it looked like the potty got clogged up trying to plung it.. it gets worst.. then had the maintenance guy came and knocked on the door then took his key to come in on us... the last night I stayed then the jerk from the front desk did the same thing... I really want my money back from this place and I don’t recommend staying at this disrespectful place ever again

Horrible hotel! Very unsafe and not clean, Smells very bad . People were smoking weed in their rooms. There was one person, who was a police officer, or someone with a badge, working the front desk and trying to monitor property, He obviously was doing a poor job not only as security but as the hotel clerk. There were bugs in the room! Left this hotel immediately after check in!

The room seemed in need of repairs and upgrades. The carpet was dirty and ragged at edges. The toilet didn't flush properly. The mattress was higher on one side and the low side had an incline that seemed to cause the mattress to slide off the bed. We had to keep pushing the mattress back in place.

The room we got had roaches so bad they just hung out in the open, they didnt scurry or hide. They were so bad they were even on the bed with us. When we went to complain, the man working the desk basically said there were no other rooms available nor was he able to re emburse us . It wasnt until we sat there for about ten minutes trying to contact someone higher up to complain thay he finally and reluctantly gave us a room key.. which he said over and over there were no other rooms available. The one he gave us had no roaches, but we were pretty disgusted at how it was handled and at the conditions of the room its self.

This hotel had dirty old chairs and mattresses thrown in the back of the hotel. Not to mention they had a wide open dumpster that was a restaurant for a family of 6 yes i said 6 huge raccoons... I literally slept on the edge of that bed because I was not sure if they had bed bugs.. I most definitely wont ever go back there.

The hotel check in staff was rude. The first room I got was not made up, had a hole in the bathroom wall and plaster spattered all over the bathroom.

The second room was a handicap room which I did not ask for. The fire detector was covered in plastic wrap and not functioning.

The fire exit in the stair well was bolted shut. When the hotel staff was alerted to this as a major violation of fire code, they replied \"the door will fall off if its not bolted on\".

Overall, the worst experience of an Expedia listed hotel BY FAR!!

it was the worse place i have ever stayed in, there was a broke crack pipe on the floor, there was no phone in the room, we requested one,we were told they would send one up,it never happened . we asked for extra coffee creamer, we never received that either.it was a king size bed.we had two small pillows and only one large one..i have never stayed in anything like that.

We were there on a night that rain and cold weather came in and we had luggage to bring in to the second floor. The rain had the tile floors at the front wet and slick and the end doors were better to make the trips in and out.
But the end we were on had the end doors locked. So I found the other end and parked there. After 1 trip that end was locked. Which made me have to make the trips in the cold rain. There was a large group coming in at the same time that was taking up the roll carts and elevator so going through the front was very crowded and tiring.
Also the morning attendant was very rude to my wife when she asked about coffee.

the housekeeping was horrible they started knocking on our door at 9am and again at 10:45 then tried to argue with us about our time I will never be back

Just ok

Booked 2 rooms & upon checkin was told the reservation was for 1. I was told to call hotels.com even though I had confirmation number. Stood at desk & made the call with phone on speaker & after holding for a few minutes the guy decided it was ok and he could give me 2 rooms. Rooms were quite large & king bed was nice. Dials on the ac didn’t work right so just had to guess if I was going to get heat or air and what temp. My friend in the other room found cracker crumbs on the sofa. My sofa had rips and the springs were so shot I couldn’t sit on it. The clock didn’t work & the remote control needed new batteries. If you’re a light sleeper don’t stay here. The noise from the interstate is very loud. People across the hall had 2 yappy dogs that wouldn’t shut up. Overall I’d say you get what you pay for. It’s a budget hotel & you should keep expectations low.

Not So Happy

Staff not friendly. Hallway smelled like smoke which seemed to drift under our door. Knob on air conditioner was missing and hard to control temperature in room.

The room keys had to be constantly charged as they didn't work, the shower faucet would get stuck, there were dark stains on the carpet.

Nasty Experience

I was in Jackson, running from Hurricane Irma and this was the closest hotel I was able to find. I checked in, went to my room and found what appeared to be blood stains and food ground into the carpet. The couch looked like someone had urinated on it in the not too distant past. I turned around and left. The staff appeared to care less that I was walking out of a 4 night reservation. And of course they did not refund any of my prepaid fee.
