We booked a room here even though we live in town. Just needed a night away from the house to relax and sleep in. The housekeeping lady started AGGRESSIVELY pounding on the doors at 7:30am!!!! Not just ours. It was so loud, we could hear her progressively getting closer and closer. Not just a knock and move along, either. Literally POUNDING on the door yelling “housekeeping!” Over and over until we got up and told her we were still trying to sleep. It was Juneteenth and she wanted to hurry everyone along so she could clean and be done for the day. Horrific. There was obviously no way to go back to sleep after.
That was the main issue. The bathroom sink also didn’t drain and the shower door doesn’t stay closed, so the bathroom floor floods unless you physically hold it shut while you shower. Very disappointing compared to our other experiences there. Waste of $300 and we won’t do that again with so many other fantastic hotel options in the area.
