The only good things about that hotel is the staff and the lobby.
The rooms and the elevator are dirty.

Simply not clean enough or updated enough to carry the Hilton name. Fantastic staff, but the place needs serious work! Fourth floor had a room right by the elevator that should have had vending machines and ice maker and it showed wires coming out of the wall. TV in our room was seriously outdated and useless. Flooring and bath area while clean were scruffy and outdated.

Honestly this place is trashed out. Yeah it's says Hilton on the side, but it's really an old Motel 6 as far as quality. Rooms, beds, elevators and everything else is outdated. My room never got below 75° and smelled awful. Furniture is peeling, water never got past lukewarm. Toilet flushed but always left some jabronis chilling. I would never recommend or stay at this place again. Also the curtains smelled like cigarettes

Everything was kept pretty clean but a lot of things were broken or not well maintained. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Out of 4 elevators only 1 working on a 15 story building. The service elevator for staff was also broken so they were using the main elevator along with guests. A lot of waiting for your turn or you had to take the stairs. My husband and I went to get in the pool and the water was so hazy and full of chemicals you can’t see the bottom. The tv in our room was “broken,” meaning it turned on but the screen looked like someone ran a magnet over it and it turned blue. Couldn’t see anything on the screen. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Other than those things, the stay was okay.

Very dated and dirty. Only one working elevator, all the buttons were cracked/broken. Carpet in halls dirty, carpet in room had very questionable stains. Coffee maker in room was absolutely disgusting with caked on filth. To sum it up, my husband said “I think we might need to get a tetanus shot” when we were leaving. Just awful and not what I expect from a Hilton.

I’m from Mississippi, and this Hilton used to be one of the top places to stay in Jackson. The hotel is still large, and the staff were very nice and friendly, but the property is outdated. Only one elevator was working during my stay.

My biggest issue was the air conditioning. I reported that my room was warm shortly after check-in, but it was never fixed. When I returned late that night and again the next day, the room was still hot. I ended up leaving early. I do appreciate that they refunded one night, but better communication would have been helpful.

Great staff, but the hotel definitely needs updates.

Let me start by saying that the staff here are all wonderful! Everyone was welcoming and friendly. However, this property is not befitting the Hilton brand. You can tell it was once a very nice hotel but years of neglect have taken their toll. There is only one functional elevator. The air in our room was barely functional and the area was under a heat advisory so it was at times very uncomfortable. We didn’t use the pool because the water was very cloudy. We did enjoy sitting at the bar for happy hour and the two ladies working were a lot of fun! The worst thing was when a guy approached my husband in the parking lot while I checked in saying he had just gotten out of jail and needed $10 for the night. Needless to say that made us feel unsafe and we won’t likely be returning to this location.

The staff was great. The hotel itself needs work. They have 14 floors and one working elevator out of four. This makes for a very long wait when needing to go up and down. The breakfast which is paid was not good. You can not order off of a menu. It is a buffet with 4 steam pans and fruit mixed with meat on a tray. Muffins were good but not worth 12 if that's all you will eat.
Room was not stocked with towels and bedding was not clean. I removed the bedding and used my own blanket that I brought with me.
If I travel again to Jackson I would not select this location. I expect more out of a Hilton property.
If I had the choice I would have gotten a refund and selected another place.

The nightly rate was good. Family of 5. The TV in the room was broken and the sheets had nasty stains on them. There was nothing pleasant about my stay at Jackson's Hilton. I checked in and the contents in the first room's toilet will not flush down. We moved to the second room, the toilet flooded there. We moved to the third room, the door will not lock and unlock after rekeying the door a couple of times. Finally made it to the last room and it smelled like wet animals. At this point, there was no more compromising, I made the decision to leave. I will not be returning to that hotel again, because that experience is embedded in my head. The 1 star was too generous. There were 4 elevators, only 1 worked. I got on it to go down, it went down 1 floor, when the door closed, it went back up and I spent 5 minutes on it trying to go tell front desk that the toilet was flooding because there was no phone there to call from the room.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The toilet in our original room would not flush, so we had to move rooms shortly after checking in. In the new room, the TV screen was completely blue and unusable, so we weren’t able to watch anything during our stay. The shower was visibly dirty, several lamps did not work, and only one elevator in the hotel was functioning, which caused long waits and inconvenience. Overall, the property did not feel well maintained, and the experience did not meet expectations.

At another hotel after my card was charged and had reservations. I tried to contact Expedia who offered me a partial refund which I was very unhappy with . The lobby was filled with people who the hotel staff advised was also waiting for rooms . After about 90 minutes we were able to get a room. Been traveling for approximately 10 hours I just wanted to shower and rest. I had a long day ahead. Hotel needs some upgrades the hotel is dated looks old and can need some remodeling. The toilet seat was broken and that only gave 2 sets of towels room was reserved for 3 people . I would never stay there again.

This hotel is very old, tired, and dirty. Toilet barely flushed. Cold shower. Carpet stained all over. Ceiling in bathroom peeling. It seems that it once was a wonderful place.
