Perfect location as there is an underground train stop RIGHT at the hotel. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and London Bridge and other sites. GREAT rooftop bar with incredible views! They held our bags for us the next day so we could enjoy walking/sightseeing without the burden of luggage. Room was a bit tight but clean and had great blackout shades.

The location was perfect. It's on top of an Underground station, across from the Tower and Tower Bridge, near shops and pubs. The hotel was great, and we enjoyed the breakfast. While we were there, they had a tech issue that blocked the elevators and the controls in the room, but it was resolved pretty quickly. We'd absolutely stay there again.

Really nice hotel! The underground is literally right next to the hotel so, I was able to get up early and hop on the train to tourist attractions. When I initially booked my stay, I requested a high rise view of the Tower of London. I didn’t expect to be directly in front of it with a perfect view!! My only complaint is that the rooms could be thoroughly cleaned. I noticed marks on the desk and vanity. Additionally, the sheets and pillows were not fresh. Other than that, I would come back again!

Very clean a different concept from normal hotels as if you need the restroom you have to monover over you partner but everthing else was good ...dont have the brown sause with breakfast its not good as i didn't no you could mess that up ...but for a short stay was enjoyable would sray again .

The room was ok but small. It had a mini bar with nothing in it. A very large bed which required you to climb over your partner to get into bed. The view from this over £300 room was a brick wall only 3 meters away. The room was controlled using an iPad which only worked when it felt like it.
On a good note, the staff where very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was substantial, varied and well prepared.
The upper floor bar was only available if you pre-booked tickets but you could go in for an entrance fee of £150 pounds per couple after 10 pm.

The location is literally right by the public transport train however, it’s not in the main area for tourist things other than the tower bridge and London bridge. There are lots of cute bars and restaurants in walking distance. It was do cute and great price very clean just very small good for1 or 2 ppl max.

I have used Citizen M for years. Sadly recently they have been taken over by Marriott.
What made Citizen M so special was their independence and customer satisfaction.
Already, you can see a change in customer service. In the past, they would allow early check-in if room was ready, usually give a complimentary drink at the bar, but not anymore. Marrriott policy says no.
In the room, only in the night did I realise that there was no glass in the room, so getting some water was very difficult.
The sink unit was tired - one panel broken and pushed in, scuff marks and chipped edges.
The showergel was less than 25% full - clearly not refilled.
Citizen M - up your game, otherwise you won’t survive.

Didn’t eat in the Hotel, and had to take our own kettle so that we had tea in our room.
Great room design and use of space. The view wss AMAZING !

Great hotel, excellent location, fantastic staff. The staff at citizenM went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. In particular, Margarida at the roof top bar was super friendly and accommodating. She really made us ferl welcome. The location across the street from the Tower of London and next to an Underground station was great. Lots to do and places to eat nearby. Easy access to public transportation. CitizenM rooms are small but functional. They remind us of a cruise ship cabin. While the room is small, the bed is huge and amazingly comfortable. Shower is good size with both rainfall head and handheld wand with massager. Hotel has a very nice bar, and common areas with lots of room to lounge, work, and eat.

The hotel’s location was conveniently situated and easily accessible. However, a false fire alarm was triggered early in the morning on two separate occasions, causing alarm and disruption among the guests. Upon arrival to the room, we discovered that the tissue box was empty, and the liquid soap dispenser was nearly depleted. This deviation from the standard operating procedure was particularly noteworthy given that we had previously stayed at the same hotel in Zurich. Despite this minor inconvenience, the staff displayed friendliness and provided a satisfactory selection of breakfast options.

Got woken up at 5:00am with someone from the front desk slipping a postcard under my door saying my bar bill was \"excessively high\". I worried someone had used my room number to buy drinks somehow. Went to the front desk to be told the bar bill was £118 - not exactly excessive when you consider the room bill was over £1600 for a 4-night stay! Problem solved I thought but was then still asked to clear it there and then?!? No point putting drinks on the room - paid by credit card going forwards.

Rooms are getting a bit dated. No tooth brush holder in the rooms, water has to be picked up at the bar now. Media library doesn’t exist anymore. Early check in not possible even if rooms are available as a matter of principle. Dispenser of Shower gel bottles are most of the times defect. Room cleaning now only on request through the tablet/ app, nobody tells you that little detail though. Every cost cutting measure is rationalized by being good for the environment… As a repeated guest with over 50 nights it’s a shame to see the deterioration of a once good brand ….

Everything was fine, but I did feel like the hotel was designed with a younger generation in mind. It had a great vibe, but little common sense or the practicality of a 20 year old. The loft style is swanky, but practical amenities were not thought of or included in the service, such as no top sheets offered.
