Our family of 3 stayed in the apartment room. It was a great space with 2 bedrooms. We also loved that there was a washer & dryer for us to use. The decor was very nice.
Parking was very limited and we had to pay for a space using the JustPark app. We also paid extra for breakfast and it was good but simple. Coffee, juice, yogurt, croissant, & porridge.
It’s located in new town and was easy to walk to other areas.

The floor was sticky. I used my own wash cloth to wipe it and it was black with dirt. There was dirt on the walls, mould in the shower. Not a lot, but enough that it felt gross. The bathroom sink didnt drain properly. The hot water in the bathroom sink didnt work. The washer/dryer unit worked to wash but not dry.
We did like the little kitchen, bedding, and location.
There is no parking at all. Nearby parking (10 minute walk) cost us as much as the room.
Most staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. One woman was not.

Neat place to stay and close to everything. Large room and nice staff. Enjoyed the fender bluetooth speaker.
Annoying check in process - it is ‘self check in’ but without the host help you could probably never do it. You have to make your own room keys when there is staff standing right there. Good if you came in late I guess. Auto emails about my reservation and check in said my reservation could not be found, which was worrisome but then they did have the reservation. Decent breakfast included. Shower took a day to drain. Would still stay again but the place had it quirks.

I was really disappointed with this hotel. For the price point, I expected way more. The check in process was through a kiosk in the lobby. Seemed pretty straight forward. I asked the hotel staff on how I could get access to my room and the person was very stand offish and rude. She stomped over to the cupboard and threw 2 key cards down and made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. I wish I got her name but I know she works in the day time. She ran through the usual so quickly that I didn't get all the info. I went to the room and was shocked. The couch was very stained and dirty. I picked the cushions up and there was food spilled underneath. I went down to tell the desk and they said cleaning staff would attend to it later that day or the next day. It didn't happen. They gave me 2 sheets to throw over the couch. I found the room could have used further cleaning. It was dusty and the bathroom was damp and smelled like mold. I tried using the washer and dryer. The dryer didn't work properly. It kept heating up my clothes but not drying them. I told the front desk, and they let me use the laundromat upstairs. The machines weren't much better. The shower handle fell off in my hand. The tray for the soap on the washing machine was broken and came off in my hand. It felt like I was staying in Fawlty Towers. So disappointing for what this hotel advertises. I will not be recommending. I also found a previous guests meds on the floor when we were leaving. Needs cleaning!

The hotel is well located on Queen street within walking distance to Edinburgh castle and many shops and restaurants. The rooms are nicely appointed - it was great to have a separate room and kitchenette with refrigerator.

The decor was nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Perfect place to explore Edinburgh from!

This is a decent place to stay. The rooms are spacious but nothing fancy. The bathroom had a variety of soaps and lotion that was nice. The breakfast is continental with a variety of items. The reception and sitting area is nice. The location is a bit of a walk and of course uphill to get back to the restaurant district.

The one thing I disliked was that they do not clean your rooms unless you’ve been there for a week. No towels or clean up which is disappointing. You can pay 35 pounds for a cleaning.

The location is fab and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are big and clean and well furbished with everything you need from hairdryer to dishwasher and washing machine.

The breakfast though was most disappointing (small selection of - apart from the fruit - only sweet and sugared items). I recommend going to one of the little cafes nearby where you get more for your money.

Fantastic to find a place with room for 4 people in a great location. Easy walk to train station, old town, and parks. The only major warning I would have is do Not try to park in the car park attached to the hotel. It is down an incredibly narrow curved drive and extremely difficult to get in and out of. If you have a car, use a garage further from the hotel. The hotel should warn guests about how extremely difficult the carpark is.

This place was amazing. We had almost a full kitchen and was really surprised about it. Also a washer and dryer. Not that we used all those amenities but was happy we had it. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had.

We stayed in a studio king which had a seperate living area to the bedroom. Unfortunately this smelt strongly of cigarette smoke the entirety of our two day stay. It was very strong when you opened cupboard doors in the kitchen. We were close to a stair well where staff appeared to be smoking. There was no one on reception to talk to about moving rooms. The bed in our room was also not king size but smaller and not very comfortable.

The 1 bedroom apartment was well furnished and had all the required amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The location was a bit further away from central attractions but still walkable with shopping and essentials closeby.

The breakfast/dining area would get congested during morning breakfast rush and the staff (despite their best efforts) seemed to have struggled to keep up. It was difficult finding a reasonable table for a family of 4 (could be other guests with smaller groups occupying larger tables), but would get one after a bit wait. The breakfast options were good.

Placed a couple of roads back from Princes Street, this hotel was in a great position to walk to most tourist sights. The check in was quick and they held suitcases until the room was ready. The apartment was bigger than expected and really clean and modern, with everything provided for a short stay, including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer! Lovely to have a separate bedroom too. Staff were always friendly and the whole hotel was run very efficiently. There is a bar/cafe area in reception, which we did not use but looked very comfortable and welcoming. Had a great stay and would definitely go back if in Edinburgh again. Thank you

Overall the room and aparthotel was great. Only downside was check in, we had to wait as couldn't check in on the computer and not sure if there was an issue with the booking but took some time to sort out. Also, there was a loud noise/air con/heating in the room and we had a travel cot blocking our exit on the first day. Not sure if the cot was for us, as had specified a family room but children are 10 & 13yrs which was put in at booking (beds were both double and not seperated, so we had to adjust planned sleeping arrangements to accomodate older children, no major issue)

Also advertised on Expedia as onsite parking, but it was actually a few mins away. Although a short walk but not convenient with elderly disabled parent, also was in the basement with car lift access which put my driving skills to test (this should be clearly mentioned particularly as it was insanely expensive parking as well)

The room and the rest of the hotel were very clean. The kitchenette in the room had everything needed to make simple meals. I had a very peaceful and comfortable stay. The rooms are well sound proofed. The member of staff who checked me in and out, Ilijia, was friendly, professional and helpful. My only disappointment was that there was not recycling facility for residents.

The bathroom & room were super clean, staff was very responsive and friendly. And the location was great too! Not too far away from the main attractions, in a quieter neighbourhood. I arrived at 20:30 and a member of staff informed me that I should go to their other building as my room is there. After some back and forth they found my reservation and gave me the key. This wouldn't have been a big problem as mistakes happen. However, the drain was blocked which I had to report (and it was fixed the following day). There was no attention to details when it comes to cleaning. There was spilled fluid in the microwave and the kettle had residue of a black (burnt) fluid at the bottom. Also in the morning during checkout there was only one member of staff (making coffees for breakfast) and facilitating the checking out process. I wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel was a quick 10 minute walk from everything. There is no real parking available (small 4 spot lot that was always occupied) so you do have to park off-site. The room was good, comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities.

The hotel was okay. The management team are brutal. I made a mistake in my booking (one day earlier than we were to arrive), so asked to cancel so I could rebook. There was a no cancellation policy, which I was aware of, but their response made it seem like I could just rebook.
So I ended up rebooking for 2 nights. One of those nights was included in my cancelled booking. So I ended up paying for the same night twice. After multiple requests to get a refund through Expedia, the hotel declined. Even though they told me it was cancelled and I could rebook. Had I known they weren't going to allow me to cancel, I would have just kept the original booking and then added another night to the end of the stay.

Given the price, I was surprised to first get a room on the lower ground with the windows giving under street level and under stairs. But they were thankfully able to move me to an upper level room in the morning, which I was really grateful as I was staying there almost a week. Only thing I did not like was my flat was in the basement. Had I known this before I would have asked for different room or stayed elsewhere.

Very clean and comfortable and easy to get around. A little further from the sights that I thought but still able to walk to Royal Mile, Hollyrood House, and Castle.

Nice and big aparthotel. We enjoyed being close to local amenities.
The beds were the most comfortable from our ten days vacation.
We thought the kitchenette had a hot plate from looking at the picture and in fact there are none, but pots and pans were in the cabinets just as if there was a hot plate.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the coffee and pastries at the reception. The coffee maker with pods was a deception, like most coffee makers with pods.
Would book again in a heartbeat.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my family. The place was wonderful and clean and we had 2 rooms for a family of 4. The room is equipped with basic amenities including microwaves and washing machine which were indeed very convenient. The lady in the reception was very helpful when the bathroom water was not flowing out and she helped fix it. The place is about 20 minutes walk to the train station and near to most of the main attractions. Highly recommended.

The aparthotel is on a fairly quiet street but is near virtually everything you will want to visit or see. The rooms are fairly spacious (bathroom / shower, bedroom, and a living / kitchen space that includes everything you will need to include a washer / dryer. The layout was quite good and the room was clean and well maintained. If you are visiting Edinburgh for several days, you should DEFINITELY consider this for your accommodations.

The room was beautiful! Very modern with super high ceilings! Really enjoyed the decor. The only issue we had was parking. At the time we stayed, it was 35 pounds per night that you have to use a third party app to pay for. The parking garage is underneath the hotel in a very tight entrance. We wound up just returning our rental car a day early as to not hassle with the parking arrangements. We also wanted to enter through the back room and rang the buzzer, only to be told that we'd have to walk all the way around the front to be helped. We were a bit miffed that our room wound up being RIGHT NEXT to the back door and it would've been very convenient to drop off our luggage there instead of wheeling it across the cobblestones. I understand if not using the back door is a safety concern, but maybe putting a note up that the front door must only be used would've dampened the blow a bit. Other than that though, our stay was wonderful and we enjoyed our room and accessibility to all of the wonderful things in Edinburgh.

I was pleasantly surprised about my stay, the room (405) was VERY quiet and the bed was VERY comfortable. One of the most comfortable and best nights' sleeps in my 3-week UK stay. I didn't need a kitchen, just a fridge and kettle, but it was a very smart and sensible layout, plenty of space. The only thing I didn't care for was a bit of an old grease smell from past customers, and the bit of black mold along the glass shower door and along some grout lines, but it wasn't the end of the world. I just don't wear corrective lenses in the shower. :) I kept the window open, which was pleasant and helped with the grease smell. I would return I think, if the price was right. Very close to everything, and I prefer New District over Old District.

Stayed 5 nights but note there was no cleaning or change of towels. Free laundry room on top floor was handy and well stocked with washing powder.
I thought parking was available but we had to park elsewhere (and it was expensive!). Overall good location, nice hotel.

SALOME

Our room was large and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. The rooms are modern and clean. The bathroom was a bit dated but nothing that impacted our stay. The hotel is located very close to Princes Street (shopping), the Mound (views + Edinburgh Castle) and the Royal Mile, but without all the street noise that comes with those areas. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location, easy walking distance to the castle, shopping, and dining. Parking was a pain. The room was spacious with a full kitchen but it smelled damp.

Very friendly staff, helpful. Room ready early and check in/out hassle free. Room spacious enough. Excellent shower. Good, quiet air-conditioning. Great having fridge, microwave, coffee machine, iron/ironing board in room. Pillows a bit soft but otherwise no issues at all during our short stay
