The room was super clean and everything inside the room was quite comfortable. Close to bus station and 20 mins walk from Edinburgh Waverly station. Check-in was accommodated as per our early arrival. Very good restaurants within the walking vicinity.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the decor which made us feel at home. It was a joy to come “home” to the apartment each night. The towels were large and fluffy and didn’t feel like typical hotel towels.

We ran out of toilet paper and tissues and a staff member brought them to our room. It would be nice to have extras already in the room. The bathroom garbage pail could have been larger and got full rather quickly.

The one thing we recommend updating is the pillows. They were hard and very uncomfortable which interrupted our sleep.

We plan to stay here for future trips but hoping the pillows have been changed by then!

Truly a great location — just a 15-minute walk from the train station and very central to everything! It’s also about 15 minutes to the Royal Mile and Old Town. The accommodations were lovely: very clean, bright, and modern. The heated bathroom floors were such a nice touch. The lounge offered coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and pastries, which made for a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The room itself was small but comfortable, with water and soda stocked in the fridge and a handy mini-kitchen. Amenities like a hair dryer, straightener, shampoo, conditioner, and an iron were all provided. The only thing missing was decaf tea — but overall, a fantastic stay!

Great property. Rooms are small, but well appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very responsive with communication before our stay and was willing to store our bags in advance of us checking in, and even had them waiting in our room once we checked in. Very convenient location. Only downside was that it was fairly loud- we were in the first level and could hear entire conversations of people speaking on the street, which made sleep more challenging. Not much soundproofing in the windows. Would stay again.

The bed is incredibly comfortable. The rooms are clean and very quaint. The area around there is perfect in the sense that it is quiet, but there’s outstanding dining and you could walk to the older part of town. The only confusing part is that you need to check in by the iPad. This is easily figured out, but it does add a wrinkle after your transatlantic flight. I would definitely stay here again. It is a bit pricey, but I thought it was worth it. I really like the lounge where they have great coffee and croissants and pastries in the morning.

Righ Residence Edinburgh: A Luxurious Gem

Righ Residence exceeded all expectations from the moment I arrived. The entrance with its rich wallpaper immediately established the property's luxurious character.

Though compact, my room was thoughtfully designed with high-end amenities. The intuitive lighting and blind controls were impressive, while the supremely comfortable bed with soft, quality linens ensured restful nights. The George Street view added to the charm.

The bathroom's rain shower provided a spa-like experience with consistently hot water. The kitchenette impressed with quality cookware and beautiful dishware. I appreciated the well-stocked mini-fridge with local cream soda, sparkling and still water.

The lounge offered a delightful retreat with morning pastries (chocolate croissants and cinnamon rolls) and afternoon shortbread cookies that were simply divine.

The location proved perfect for exploring Edinburgh's attractions and accessing the train station for day trips to surrounding towns and castles.

Great location - close to Waverly and a short walk to the main sights while being far enough away to be quiet. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the surrounding blocks as well as a Boots for any quick pick up needs. The hotel was beautiful, well equipped, and the staff were very helpful. Clean property. I liked how check-in /out was all automated. The room had all the necessities. Close to shopping and 15 minute walk to the Royal Mile. I wish we booked the accessible room as the standard room was much smaller than we thought. It was difficult to find a spot to place our compact stroller. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

A delightful stay at the Boulevard Room. The decor and facilities are luxurious and very detailed and well thought. From the under the bed storage to the little flip reading light at the side of the bed, absolutely perfect. Love the bathroom, although smallish but very well designed and luxurious and I think there is floor heating in the bathroom, excellent idea. The kitchenette, another nice touch, although not really necessary but it is there if you need it. One small thing, the gap between the left hand side of the bed and the window is a little narrow.
Honestly, we love the decor, the design and the facilities of the whole building. Everything is well thought out. If we ever in Edinburgh again, will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

The residence was beautiful, very clean and comfortable and well stocked and the location was ideal. The only problem was that the lift was having issues and maintenance during our stay which was a little inconvenient when the maintenance supervisor was not on the premises. When he was there and the lift was out of use, he went out of his way to offer to help us with our bags if needed. We only had one floor of steps to climb, but it would have been challenging for us if we had been on a higher floor.

Really great, nothing really that you cd need as it was so well thought out and laid out.

Even supplied ear plugs as the noise through the old windows could get pretty loud at times being on the road side.

Very clean, tidy, little extras like the lounge and washer/dryers that I just didn't expect.

And buttons for everything, and interactive room and service and tablet!

Theres a lounge you can relax in if you are here early or after check out and there's tea, coffee and water. You can also leave luggage which is handy. The location is perfect on George Street. A beautiful, welcoming hotel in a great location, situated 5 minute walk from the Scots monument and views of the castle and 10 mins from Edinburgh waverly railway station. The room facilities were excellent plus an extremely comfy bed, a great view for watching the world go by and friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. This was the perfect place for my stay in Edinburgh! The check in and check out process was straight forward and took no time at all. My room was clean and was the perfect size for myself and I appreciated the provided cookware in the kitchenette. The location was perfect for me as it was easy to walk to and from places, is close to both the bus and tram stops, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. I felt very safe here which was one of my top priorities. Friday and Saturday nights were a bit on the noisy side with a handful of people outside on the streets, but I was able to sleep right through it (there were earplugs provided as well for those that might need them). Overall I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

Outstanding accommodation in an ideal location

We stayed at Righ recently for a birthday weekend and absolutely loved it. The building has been recently renovated to an incredibly high standard with top end fixtures and fittings. The location was ideal for us- close to shops, bars and restaurants but not overly busy at night. We stayed in the King George Suite and couldn’t fault it. Space to spread out and plenty of room to sit and have a drink as a group. Beds are comfy, showers are excellent and the robes/slippers/bathroom products/complimentary snacks and drinks provided are much higher quality than is normal for a hotel. The decor is beautiful (to the point we were all taking photos for reference) and the staff were lovely- friendly, accommodating and all seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. We were joking as we left that we’d quite like to live there. We’ll definitely be back and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our flat became home right away. Except that it was cleaned everyday while we were out, and there was a fresh box of shortbread every time we finished one!

Location is fabulous for visiting city attractions, museums, shopping, etc. if there is a downside, it is that this is such a popular area for late night celebrations on the street.

The bathroom is compact, but this gives more square footage available for more important things, like a full sized hall table… so convenient for purchases, keys, guidebooks and the like.

The kitchen is complete; everything you could possibly need, unless you plan on cooking a turkey or something. The sink is a little awkwardly placed, but since housekeeping does the dishes, who cares?!

Reading lights built into in the extra comfy bed made evening reading even more of a treat that it usually is.

Staff was so friendly and helpful, we never felt like a bother, even when we challenged them with odd problems.

Overall, our stay was more than we dreamed, in a city that stole our hearts.

This property is amazing and a must book when in Edinburgh. They left all the essential such as milk, oil , coffee tea bags etc along with some biscuits, fudge and champagne thank you. No hassle with check in or out and free coffee/tea provided daily in lounge with fresh pastries ( nice touch) and on check out they stored our luggage no hassle. Only down fall windows are not double/triple glaz so u can hear everything on street at time but that was no hassle for us. Well located near everything incl public transport from airport. Highly recommended and we will return when in Edinburgh.

Our stay was good, perfect location and great room with everything we needed, however we were a bit disappointed when we were unable to get some hot chocolate from the lounge later in the evening as the machine had no milk and there was nobody around. There was also a loud alarm going off for quite some time around 11pm which wasnt ideal.

Beautifully presented property, every staff member we met was very friendly and helpful. We stay in Edinburgh yearly to spend time at the christmas market and will certainly be back here.

The amenities in the suite could not be faulted (although the ipad in which you obtianed alot of the 'in room' info on hates us and needed to be reset) everything has been done to the highest standard and the place was spotless.

We were only staying for 1 night this trip however everything you could need for a longer stay is included in the suite. Location is ideal for staying on Business for longer periods of time.

A hidden gem in plain sight..

The Righ Residence is the perfect spot for those wanting to explore Edinburgh. Wasn’t quite expecting the high standards and level of service this place provided. A stones throw from the tram and placed in the middle of George street, everything was on our doorstep or a quick walk away. George street itself was a hive of activity and beaut shops/cafes. The Righ was a haven from the busyness and was just absolute luxury. From a busy street through the doors of Righ provided a quiet escape and was full of charm and elegance whether there as a couples weekend or with the family. We heard no noise from inside the hotel or the streets below. The room was fantastic. Super clean and lovely and warm. It genuinely felt like we were the first to stay in the room. It had everything we needed from an amazingly kitted out bathroom to a small kitchenette and a fridge stocked with Irnbru and the usual milk and water. Kitchen cupboards had all the stuff needed too. Can’t fault this place at all. Lovely staff and super quiet. Felt like we had the place to ourselves with a lovely lounge with coffee machine and traybakes during the day and breakfast pastries in the morning. Well worth a visit when hitting Edinburgh

Amazing suite in the perfect location!

We stayed in the Firth of Forth suite and could not fault it. It has a separate living/kitchen room and a completely separate bedroom all very modern with excellent facilities (including cloud nine straighteners and hairdryer!!). We were staying for my birthday and had a lovely surprise of a bottle of fizz, some fudge and a hand wrote card in the room which was a lovely personal touch. The lounge room in floor 1 has pastries and coffees/tea that you can help yourself too. The location is right on George Street so is perfect for all the shops/bars/restaurants. There is some noise from the street in the early hours of Saturday however that’s likely to be the case for a lot of the local hotels with historic windows (the bed is so comfy though that it didn’t stop us getting straight back to sleep or really disrupt our night). Would definitely return and hopefully would try the castle suite next time to have a slightly different view.

Perfect place to stay in, the location can’t be more perfect.

2 things can improve on, better blonds for the light in the morning and more important internal sound proof windows if possible

Our RR stay

Our room was 301 & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was as advertised & described. The property was clean, inviting and stylish. The room was well equiped - robes/slippers, toiletries, kitchen appliances/utensils, Cloud 9 hair dryer/straightners, ear plugs (which were needed), the tech for the lighting, curtains, blinds and heating worked well. For a hotel the bedding and pillows were comfy. Communication via email with the hotel was good throughout. Good location which was one of the main reasons for booking. The only negative was noise from Frederick Street. We knew ahead of our stay noise had been an issue for other residents & we were given a room on the 3rd floor to help with noise, however our sleep was still disturbed multiple times, the addition of noise reducing shutters should be considered. Our stay included breakfast at Cote Brasserie which is a few minutes walk. We would stay again and highly recommend.

Highly recommend.

Great place, highly recommended. When we were there the lift was out, but they had a gentleman carry our bags up for us. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The suite was comfortable, clean, and modern and we all enjoyed staying there.
We also did the breakfast one morning and it was excellent.

The Tûr Suite

We could not ask for a better place to stay in Edinburgh.

Great location, the apartment was very nice with lovely views of the castle!

And the staff was just amazing, everyone working at Righ Residences were very friendly, helpful and great communicators!

We would love to go back in the future!
