TERRIBLE, UNSAFE, AND UNACCEPTABLE

I had a very bad experience at this motel and I do not recommend it at all.

This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. It was an absolute nightmare from start to finish.

The room was extremely cold. The heater was broken and completely non-functional, and we were shivering all night.

The room was disgustingly dirty. It looked like it had never been cleaned. The floor was not swept or mopped, there were dead insects on the floor, and dust everywhere. We even found socks left under the bed from previous guests, which is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting.

The bed was dirty, broken, and extremely uncomfortable. We woke up with back pain.

There was no hot water for showering. We called the reception four times during the night and reported the issue, yet no one ever came to fix it. On top of that, the shower cabin was broken, the water did not drain, and dirty water accumulated in the shower, causing a strong sewage and toilet smell to spread throughout the room.

On top of everything, this place felt completely unsafe. One morning, while we were sleeping, a woman violently knocked on our door, waking us up. She asked if her sister was staying in our room.
This is absolutely unacceptable. How can a random person knock on guests’ doors early in the morning? This shows ZERO security, ZERO safety, and ZERO control.

Some of the reception staff were very rude, unprofessional, and careless, which made the experience even worse.

The room was not clean: sticky furniture, sticky floors and even the shampoo small tube was gooey!!!
The sheets were dirty! The towels were dirty with black spots! The chairs were stained!!
I asked to changed the bedsheets but I was offered another room… with dirty sheets!
When I finally found a room unnoticed that the girl who showed me the previous room did NOT change the dirty bed but simply redid the bed with the dirty sheets!!!
I had planned a two day stay but in left after one night!
Horrendous experience
The photos are either fake or 20 years old!!
I decided to stay one night because I arrived late and could not go anywhere else!!

the room i got was pretty decent, its not bad for staying a couple nights in, the bed was kinda hard but it was doable. there was clean towels and sheets, the fridge worked but the microwave didn't but they at least offered to let us use the one in the lobby instead. the shower worked good and the water was hot. the AC was older but it did work but it couldve been better.

You get what you pay for.

The heat worked & the door locked. The staff was pleasant. Room was dirty, towels were dirty, overall unpleasant atmosphere. We slept on top of the covers with a blanket from home. I wouldn't want to be outside by myself in the motel parking lot late at night. Understandable for picking the cheapest place available.

Booked a kitchenette. The stove did not work at all. There was an old mini fridge that was unsanitary. While there was a new mini fridge as well it was gross and dirty inside. The microwave took 12 minutes to heat up our food. I was unable to prep the rest of my kids food because the stove was not working. The rooms said no smoking but the whole room reeled like cigarettes. I needed to leave after one night (booked three) due to family emergency. Hotel said I needed to speak with Expedia since I booked online. Expedia was unable to reach hotel management to resolve issues. Not expecting a 5-star hotel when booking a motel but also not expecting a complete waste of money

This property should not even be listed on Expedia. In a way, Expedia pushed us into choosing this location, and once we arrived, we couldn’t leave because we had already paid. Cops were in and out of the place every day. The rooms were filthy—beds had stains and crumbs, and the overall condition was shocking. I had to cut my trip short because I couldn’t stand staying there, which cost me both money and my vacation. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and I’ll never trust Expedia to choose my stay again. Expedia has lost me as a customer.

recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience regarding the cleanliness and service.
Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed that the bathroom and shower had not been cleaned. The hand soap had already been opened, there was hair in the soaking bathtub, and the floor was noticeably dirty. Even more concerning, I saw cockroaches in the room.
Additionally, the mattress, sheets, and blanket had an unpleasant odor, which made the stay uncomfortable. Overall, the level of cleanliness and service did not meet the standards I expected.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues to ensure a better experience for future guests.

The worst experience I’ve ever had.
Far too expensive for the service provided, even in high season.
Mosquitoes, insects, and even spiders in the room.
Furniture straight out of the 1960s, and outdoor chairs that look like they were collected from public donations.
The staff try to be friendly, but the basic comfort expected from any accommodation is completely missing.
Cleaning is superficial — the room is simply dirty.
I strongly advise against staying here, even for a motel — cleanliness has nothing to do with the price charged.
Paying $200 a night for something that shouldn’t cost more than $50 is unacceptable.
Don’t go, even if the stay is offered for free.

Horrible property. Had live wire hanging from ceiling… no cover on baseboard heater in the tiny bathroom. Bathroom had mould, chips on the wall, tub had big stain marks.

This is the first time ever, we had to pay a deposit to get the remote for the TV !
Another first time for us, we had to put in a deposit to get the small little key to the room!

This was a last minute booking, another place I had tried to get filled up while I was attempting to book it. So this location was my last choice (the Grand Motel Sainte-Hubert). The regular night charge was $60/night, but because of the F1, they were charging $420 for 2 nights! This place is a dump. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, the sheets were miss matched and in need of replacing, the bathroom sink and toilet were in need of replacement, the carpet was thread bare in areas, the paint was yellowed and you had to leave an additional $20 for the TV remote that didn’t even work properly. The beds and the furniture should have been taken to the dump. There was no WiFi when we arrived in the room, so I went back to the office to find out what was going on. The staff was belligerent and stated it must be a problem with my phone, however, in the office it was working fine. So I demanded that it be fixed. The acting (?) manager told me the router at my location was out and would take him an hour to fix it. It did take an hour and it was out again the next day. The pool on the property is a garbage pit and the grounds haven’t been maintained in any way whatsoever. If you have an need of accommodations in this area and nothing else is available, do yourself a favour and sleep in your car.

This room was the most disgusting room we have ever been in. Upon arrival had to tell staff to clean the room as it had many dirty issues. Food on the floor, handprints on the mirror. Filthy batb tub. Among many other things. We had no choice but to stay but did nog sleep. Bed was not made, under blanket sheets were wrinkled. We had to use a blanket we had in our trunk. Macaroni on the floor. Disgusting black inside fridge. Microwave had profanity drawn inside. Broken chair outside room missing a leg that caused a fall. This hole of a place should not even be on a booking website. We rushed home to shower. We should be refunded for an awful sleepless night

The lady working the desk was lovely. The property and rooms were not. The room was very dirty. It was hot and the air conditioner plug did not reach any outlet. There was a gap under the door to outside about an inch wide. The floor made my feet practically black. Curtains were stained, lamp had no shade and the pillows were flat.

100% sure the sheets had not been changed on either bed - hair and dirt in both. We were desperate and had to stay there so spent $100 to buy sheets/pillows/small blankets to put on top of bed and PRAYED there weren’t bed bugs. Outlets didn’t work, there was a lamp on the nightstand but no outlet to plug it in with, the fridge would not open and proceeded to leak all over the place. They said they would replace the fridge but just brought towels to help sop up the water. The sink and stove were amazingly unusable (not that I would have) and even the surface had dirt/old food on it - and disgusting/used/filthy/torn tinfoil on the burner pans. There were old mattresses laying around in the yard and the pool was a cesspool. Worst place I have EVER stayed in my life. Worst part is they know it and don’t make any attempt to hide/fix it. They had us since we were in for the Grand Prix and wouldn’t have been able to find anything else for miles. We went into it knowing it wouldn’t be great, but it was NOTHING LIKE THE WEBSITE! Do not be fooled.

Please donot advertise this kind of property on Expedia. This is really dirty place, still in shock how it has 4.0 rating on Expedia site. The whole room was dirty, AC very outdated and not working plus water always gets clogged. This place is really unhygienic and not safe to stay.

A couple of customers where argueing with the clerks when I got there. The plugs on the refrigerator and microwave both faced in the same direction so they couldn't be plugged in at the same time. The remote worked but the tv had no signal. The first morning police were arresting somebody in the parking lot a couple rooms down. I was mainly there for the F1 race and it was coveniently located. Also cheap. I did sleep well and the clerk at checkout was kind and curtious.

I wouldn't want my enemies staying here. This motel should be taken off of any travel site so that others do not have to go into this motel. As soon as we walked into the room, we had to leave. The cob webs had dust, the chairs were broken and missing spindles. The floor was spongy and peeling up. 0 out of 5 stars.

Hi, we drove from Halifax and booked this motel through your app. It had a 4.0 star rating and the photos looked nice, so we decided to book it.

I drove for 11 hours, expecting the hotel to be decent so that my wife and I could rest — especially since she is pregnant. But when we arrived, took the room, and went inside, it looked nothing like the photos shown on your app.

As soon as my wife sat on the bed, it shook. The washroom door wouldn’t even close properly. The blanket had cigarette burns and was torn.

I have pictures and I will send them to you.

If I’m paying $110, I at least expect a clean bed and washroom.

Even gas station washrooms are cleaner than this.

The room had such a strong smell that it was bothering my wife.

We were so exhausted that we couldn’t find another hotel or motel nearby, so we decided to stay. But when we lay down on the bed, it kept shaking and was extremely dirty.

I checked us in at 10:40 pm.
It was close to the airport.
Cops followed me into motel. Had to pay an additional 200 $ deposit.
My wife flight arrived at 11:20 by 11:40 we had checked out and drove the two hours home. Would take a whole page just to describe the state of the room/suite we were given... i had a good laugh at my wifes reaction to the room....beyond gross.
I stay in hotels alot this will forever be one of those places we warn others about...
