There’s some things that are in and out of the control of the hotel. It’s an older building, so I can give them the benefit of the doubt. The staff were very helpful, the included breakfast was nice.
The room itself was fairly dirty, and the sheets, though clean, had a lot of hair in them. We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping under the sheets. There were critters, silver fish, and fruit flies. I don’t recommend bringing in much food and leaving it in the room. There was a fridge and freezer which worked great. They mention parking, but you’d be lucky to find a spot, as there’s only a handful available. You’re further east, so it’s easy a 40+ min walk to downtown, or you’re close enough to transit. A little bit of an older area, but once you get up to Ontario St, there’s lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. If you want a quick place to stay, that is often cheaper, you could go here. But still, for the price, and the quality, I wouldn’t stay here again. It wasn’t worth it.

Its a fine stay if you want to save money, but its noisy, the beds are uncomfortable, the bathrooms smell and the shower is dark and tiny. The neighborhood is a bit down and out, far from downtown. Only perk is free parking.

Easy to check in/out. Clean room with AC, good continental breakfast. Good location for transit to downtown Montreal. Parking however can be tricky ... one may end up on the street or even worse not be able to get out as planned because of another car in the way.

For the price, I would say a good value. Clean to sleep. We just wanted a place to lay our head and be able to park. The area seemed a bit sketchy at first, but ended up fine. Not far from Old Montreal. If you are not looking for a \"resort\" type place, I'd recommend. I'd say couples or individuals, not really a family with kids - rooms aren't huge.

The hotel appears to be in a sketchy part of town and we were a little concerned because the desk reception said we could park outside the hotel, even though there was no signage. The room was much smaller than we expected but was OK otherwise, since the rooms were all built inside an old Post Office. The breakfast was OK but not up to the standard of a \"Best Western\" or \"Travelodge\" and yet the price was comparable; the offering was cold food only (cereal and boiled eggs i think) so, all in all an OK experience but we will not be returning.

Front desk and cleaning staff were quite helpful, however, the property itself needs better maintenance and some renovations.
For example, in the room were breakfast serve, the coaches were dirty.
The room doors are wood made, very noisy and you can hear the opening and closing all night and old TV cable and very few outlets for power.

The room was super clean and the smart Samsung Tv did the job for entertainment!

On the other hand, the guy at the front desk seemed a bit lost. They could’ve also done a bit more effort with the breakfast with things like bacon or omelettes or smt.

The lobby could also use a bit of renovation and cleaning and the smell of the cleaning products they use is a bit off putting.

All in all very satisfactory stay given the price and where it’s placed at!

The hotel is unique, not fancy but very nice and comfortable, has everything you need for a comfortable stay, breakfast is simple but good, and the staff (manager and receptionists) very kind and helpful, the process to check in was not easy for me, but I managed to enter the propperty ( at 2 AM) and ultimatelly to my assigned room.
The only issue was that the cleaning staff were no actually cleaning the room, they just set the bed with the existing sheet and go, I stayed 11 days and they never cleaned the bathroom. I recomend this hotel and I would stay again, making sure they clean the room often enough.

Plenty of street parking, never felt unsafe. My only issue is the doors (both the entrance to the building and to your room) require a code (no key). We had difficulty the first night getting in the building, but it was late and no staff were there. Then when trying to enter our room the lock timed out and again, there were no staff. When trying to call, it rang reception (where no one was). Eventually my partner pushed the “X” button that allowed us to retype the code and enter the room. Much unnecessary frustration. That being said, it was a cozy stay, gorgeous building, tall ceilings, good breakfast. I would comeback if they switched to a physical key.

Honestly, the stay felt like an attempted scam. Things seemed fine at first, but our 1st night we overheard a guest arguing w the manager on the phone about a reservation being unexpectedly canceled after he tried to change dates. It set a strange tone. We stayed 2 nights with no issues accessing the room. On checkout day, we left early & cleaned up, leaving only normal trash (feminine products in the bathroom bin, food in our own paper bags since there were no other trash cans). We also noticed what we thought was a small piece of red fabric from a new scarf on the couch. About two hours later, the manager called accusing us of leaving a “stain” and implied it could be blood or makeup, saying they might need a specialist. I repeatedly asked for a photo. The image she sent showed a bright red mark that didn’t resemble blood (which dries dark/brown) or any makeup we owned. Since we were nearby, she encouraged us to return and see it ourselves. When we arrived about 15 minutes later, there was no stain on the couch—no moisture, no cleaning residue, nothing. Despite knowing we were coming, the alleged stain had mysteriously disappeared. The front desk then showed a photo where the color looked altered & suggested it came from lip pencil shavings.. sure. After difficulty reaching the manager again, she finally called back and said since the stain was “removed,” they wouldn’t charge us. This felt convenient & left us feeling they were trying to keep our $100+ deposit. Be cautious

My comb fell there and to fetch it I had to reach out to below the bed and noticed a thick layer of white dust. Rest of the room was clean but the areas which are not visible should also have basic cleanliness.
I also found it frustrating that the breakfast started only after 8. In my experience staying at hotels, breakfast is available at least from 7 AM. 8 AM was very late.

This place was absolutely disgusting. The bed sheets had stains all around and hair stuck in them. The room smelled like mold and the bathroom was filthy! I could not even sit to use the bathroom. Definitely after a long trip I couldn’t even shower, the shower head was disgustingly dirty. The first thing we were told was careful with your car because they will steal it, you need to block it so no one steals it. In addition, the breakfast area was in the basement, in which it smelled even more like mold. The breakfast wouldn’t be called that! No eggs, the bread was super dry and hard as a rock, the coffee was watery, barely any other choices whatsoever. The whole experience was a disaster and even though I hooked this “hotel” for 4 nights I ran out of there after the first night, as I had arrived that evening and couldn’t leave right away. This hotel needs to be shut down absolutely nasty in every way. Also the staff was nowhere to be found at the front desk. If one person was there he didn’t speak the global language which is English!!! A filthy, not safe, and nasty place, that offered literary nothing good. I ran out of there even if I paid for 4 nights and lost my money, but it was that or get some kind of disease there from their the nasty “food” or the filthy bathroom and room. And of course getting my car stollen, pathetic!
