The staff were so kind, and the room was gorgeous. We had a great corner suite, with a large bed. The shower and bathtub were very spacious. The hallways smelt lovely like lemongrass and the rooftop pool provided a nice view of the city. I certainly would come back.

This hotel was extremely disappointing. The elevator was not working, which made it very difficult, especially with luggage. The shower did not have a curtain or door, so water went everywhere and made the bathroom unusable.
The worst part was the bedsheets were not changed and were very dirty. This is completely unacceptable and unhygienic. Cleanliness and basic maintenance were clearly neglected.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be staying here

No elevators, we had to carry our own luggage’s up to the second floor. No help from the hotel staff.

Hotel is under construction and it looks unsafe to walk around on. Dust everywhere, construction supplies, and mats all across the floor. Impossible to drag luggage’s around the floor. To enter the hotel they have two large steps and then to get to the reception 5-7 more steps. and it’s so difficult to drag luggage’s across and the staff just looks at you and doesn’t help.

For the bag drop off after check out it’s a $15 charge. Should be free.

No entertainment. You need to pay to access the billar/ pool table.

• Excellent Transit Access: Navigating the city is seamless, with easy access to public transportation just steps away.
• Cleanliness & Amenities: The rooms are well-maintained and clean. For a budget-friendly stay, it is well-equipped with essentials like a kettle, microwave, blow dryer, iron, and hangers.
• Exceptional Staff: The team is friendly and accommodating. A major highlight was their willingness to provide luggage storage for early arrivals, allowing guests to explore the city before check-in.
• Convenient Access: There are no issues with late-night entry, and room service is available upon request for basic necessities.

The Cons: Comfort & Infrastructure
• Limited Room Size: The rooms are notably smaller than standard double-occupancy rooms in other hotels, which may feel cramped for two people with luggage.
• Heating Issues: The heating system struggled to keep up with the Montreal winter. Frequent manual adjustments were required to maintain a comfortable temperature.
• Minimalist Stocking: Rooms were under-supplied initially, providing only one set of towels and no face cloths. You may need to proactively ask for more.

I booked this hotel for the same night; however, due to a system error, the reservation date was automatically changed to the following day.

Because the reservation was non-refundable, I contacted Expedia immediately. They explained that they could not make any changes until they heard back from the property, but indicated that a refund was likely given the clear booking error.

I then canceled the incorrect reservation and rebooked the correct night. Upon arrival, I explained the situation to the front desk and was explicitly told that the incorrect reservation had been canceled, was not charged, and that a refund would be issued.

Later, Expedia informed me that the property chose to uphold the original cancellation policy and declined the waiver request. The property also stated that the incorrect reservation had been canceled and was unpaid, which directly contradicts what was communicated to me on site.

This experience indicates inconsistent and misleading information regarding the handling of the reservation. Based on this, others may wish to exercise caution when booking.

The room, while aesthetically pleasing, was rather compact and did not comfortably accommodate two occupants. Furthermore, several essential amenities were absent, including a hand towel, a bath mat, and standard soap. The cleanliness of the room was also below expectations. We recommend that the hotel prioritize improving its housekeeping standards and ensure all fixtures are properly secured. For instance, the towel rack was improperly installed and unstable.

The hotel is located in a nice spot where the metro is near by and you can easily get around. The parking situation is a bit complicated, much of the street parking is by permit only or paid in a way where you have to constantly check the meter (via an app). I ended up needing to park about a 10 minute walk away and move my car in the morning.

For the price the room is solid, plenty of space for a single or couple travelers. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was truly odd, everything was placed really close to the walls in a way that made it hard to use the facilities.

The walls are pretty thin, you are going to hear anyone outside or in the hallway.

Also the hotel does not say Olympia anywhere on it, its Hôtel Le Saint-André.

Hotel is excellent and very good price, however both interactions i had with the staff were disappointing, the checkout was painfully slow and the person that checked me in at night was plain and simply rude and uninterested and made us wait about 25 min before he showed up. Other than that, the hotel was clean and in excellent condition.

Never in my life have I been asked to pay a fee for a hotel holding onto my luggage pre-check in. The room was not ready for us because we arrived in the morning, fair, however the guy at the check in tried to charge us $20 to hold onto our luggage while we walked around during the day, and when we refused he took them in for storage anyway. Leads me to believe he was trying to scam us. After that we limited our interactions with staff during our stay. The room itself was really small, had all the amenities we needed. The walls are thin so we could hear the neighbours often.

Such a wonderful welcome after a long journey. The team here are just lovely, friendly, helpful and go above and beyond.
The room was spotless and the bed was difficult to get out of because it was so comfortable.

Really scary neighbourhood. Difficult check in process wouldn't accept debit credit card, would use debit to leave deposit they made me leave to find a bank machine nothing available in area. No parking near hotel. Staff friendly not not problem solvers. Air conditioner in room kept turing on and off not working properly, room very uncomfortable. Elevator making strange noises, very decrepit. Very clean looking hotel.

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend it. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the large parking garage near Berri-UQAM (formerly the bus station), which offers affordable rates. You can also easily reach the Latin Quarter, Old Montreal, and the heart of the Gay Village on foot. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it a great base for exploring the city. I’d gladly stay here again.

Location is great. Close to the village and many bars and restaurants. Place has been updated, and rooms are spacious, but not the greatest quality. Our shower handle was broken and the fourth floor isn’t accessible by the elevator, so you have to walk up stairs. In general, it’s a great spot for a quick visit if you want to spend time in the village!

The few good things about this hotel: fairly clean, room was a comfortable temperature, and it’s located in a good area. Now the bad things: there was no shower curtain or door on the shower, and the second I turned the shower on, water literally sprayed all over the bathroom, drenching the toilet and floor in water. Went to the front desk to ask for more towels, waited there for 5+ minutes and there wasn’t a single staff member in sight. There was no soundproofing; we could hear people walking around all night long. The room itself looked like it was put together in less than 24 hours (exposed wires with no cover plates, holes in walls, etc). Bed felt like a cardboard box. There was music playing in the common area all night that we could hear from our room?? I’ve stayed in other hotels in Montreal with similar dingy conditions for half the price.

I went for the weekend with my friend and I loved the location of the hotel as it was in the centre of everything. It was also nice because there were many cafes and convenience stores located near it. The staff were super sweet and the hotel itself wasn't bad at all. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms were a little run-down, we didn't mind it though. I'd say the only other thing is we did see a bug in our room once but that's about it. I’d probably stay here again.

It is a cute hotel, clean, kind staffs. We stayed in twin bedroom for 2 nights but it was extraordinarily small and shower place does not have curtain and the water splashes on the floor and there is no drain..I do not know what they think..and also water does not drain well in the sink..
The location is good for exploring downtown but parking spot was so tiny too(with paid).
Well, considering the rate, still ok to stay for short time.

the price was almost double the usual price which I understand is depending on availability, but on top of that had to pay an extra non refundable charge PER DAY for having 2 ppl (including myself)... for a room that is literally a 2 bedroom/2 person room. Was told I booked as 3 people which I did not, as confirmed by Expedia, but still couldn't get a refund or credit or anything. and bathtub was dirty. The staff were excellent, they helped with parking (paid, limited parking is available on site) and getting checked in and out was quick and simple.

The room was nice, however there was very little air circulation and no fans within the room. This made it extremely humid after having a shower that lingered for the duration of the stay (2 nights) and make it uncomfortable and hot after arriving back at the hotel from a day of walking. The shower also has a leak issue, which likely contributed to the humidity.

One wall of the room is a rocky/brick accent, which looks nice, but resulted in a lot of dirt and dust accumulation on the floor, feeling as though it doesn’t get swept very often.

Overall, a fine place to stay for a shorter duration.

We checked in and left for a couple hours to explore. I made sure my purse was hidden in my bag of clothes as it also had my wallet in it. I never thought to bring my wallet since I use Apple Pay. We came back just to grab something and go back out. I noticed my purse was pulled out of the bag and my wallet was open with my credit card debit card pulled out. I had to cancel them as it’s easy for someone to take pictures of the numbers. We chose to stay in the rest of the night. Not sure if there’s a scam going on there where they watch who’s going and coming from their rooms or it’s just us. The area is also horrible. Filled with people on drugs that are quite disruptive. I would not walk alone as a female
