The room was comfortable with all the amenities one would need and expect (soap, USB socket, WiFi, TV). The location is really good with Berri UQAM very close and many restaurants and cafes nearby - I booked here for proximity to the Village. Staff made check-in and -out easy. Generally everything is very clean, although the lampshades seemed dirty (probably a function of the old furnishings in the room).

The hotel staff needs to be trained as some have an attitude problem. The one who did my check out the day I left was amazing. I was turned off when told that it would be $5 to bring a breakfast upstairs to my room, even though it was a cold breakfast. Oh but you could bring coffee, that's not a problem lol! I'm not

Hotel is okay for the price. Staff are great. Room service was attentive.

Hotel asks for a $250 hold on a credit card and charges about $30 a night for on-site parking, so prepare for that. The hold is way too high for a hotel that isn’t luxurious at all. The parking lot around the block off Saint-Hubert is a better deal for multi-day stays.

Bathroom was a little awkward and had no fan. Entrance way is dark and lacks sufficient lighting. TVs are outdated. No fridge. Pillows are a bit uncomfortable.

We only stayed for one night for a very reasonable rate. As such, we were satisfied with our stay. The room was clean and check in was easy (note that a damage deposit is required). We did not park at the hotel, although there is limited paid parking available. Breakfast was included, consisting of pancakes, cereal, croissants etc.

The hotel and all the accommodations were awful. Thermostat wasn’t working, blankets had stains, the phone didn’t work, the tv only had like 2 channels, the bar was closed on a Saturday night which was also Valentine’s Day. Never again will I go there

Well, is my second time and this time wasn’t good, the room that they gave me the heater wasn’t warm enough I ask the front desk and they said that they can’t move the temperature , I asked for a extra blanket and they said that they don’t have extra the room was really cold. they send a guy to check the controls of the heating, but it doesn't fix anything. Hope next time they can do some solution, is a nice hotel and great location but they need to afford little more.

We had contacted the hotel to ask for the 2 rooms we booked at the same time could be beside each other, they said depending on capacity they would try to accommodate. Our rooms ended up being on separate floors.
One room was very cold, the space heater that was in the room was broken.
They almost refused to let us park our truck in the parking area, which we checked to make sure there was enough clearance with the higher before booking.
There was a party and screaming in the middle of the night and very strong smell of marijuana.

Parking it extremely inconvenient, the main issue isn’t the smell in the rooms more so the fact that my deposit was never returned and there’s an extra $100 charge. I’m confused how a $60 room turned into $500, and the deposit was not $250

Hotel is in mediocre shape . There is parking available but it was full so we had to park on the street on DT Montreal. Wish posting would have clarified that if parking is full you need to figure it out. Room was decent , spacious and clean. However you cannot control the heat as it’s building controlled. It was 27° and so hot and hard to breathe or feel relaxed because it was so hot . Breakfast was fine.

When I made the reservation, I specifically selected “Pay at the property.” However, one day before my arrival, the hotel charged my card a $250 deposit and the first night separately.

This was completely unexpected. Had I known the hotel would charge my card in advance, I would not have made this booking. I chose this option because I intended to pay at check-in using my business card, not my personal card.

Please explain why the selected payment option was not respected.

I booked a King room and paid extra for it, but was given a room with a double bed, which was disappointing. On top of that, the mattress was very uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

The cleanliness of the room was good, which I appreciate, but overall the stay did not meet expectations due to the room and bed issue.

The rooms were old and the worst of everything was the heating, it did not work well at all, it was too cold. It was only December 6 and the temperature was only around -2 Celsius or so, can’t imagine how cold would be with lower temperatures. The only good thing about the place is the location, closed to everything

Checked into our standard king room. There was no hot water and the heat didnt work. After informing the front desk about the issues, the lady told me that she could move us into a standard queen room. I said thats fine as long as I get a refund for the difference in price. She refused and was unable to give any reason other than \"i already paid\" , which makes no sense at all. She finally said i have a king suite we can move you to. I said fine, i just want heat, i dont care about an upgrade but we moved rooms. The heat in that room barely functioned. I informed the desk again and they \"fixed it\" and then turned the heat down when we were out of the room. We had to ask for extra blankets because at this point i dont want more ppl in my room when im trying to relax. The hot water barely worked in this room also, until randomly on the 2nd day it was suddenly scalding hot. There was a huge jacuzzi in the corner of the room that dosent work, and we were told the water was disconnected. So if youre looking at the suites and think it includes a jacuzzi, it dosent. They couldn't pay me to stay here again. Worst hotel ive ever stayed at in Montréal. 0/10 i dont recommend

Honestly, the room was old, dingy needed repairs, paint job... no microwave & fridge in the room. TV was of cheap quality but did the job. The toilet was shaking and needed fixing. I wouldnt be surprised if I saw a cockroach in there but I didnt. The receptionist were warm & welcoming but the best part they had a breakfast that would beat a lot of good hotels out there. It was perfect and yummy croissants were provided. That fixed all the problems I had with the property. They had a private parking which was good but 30$ per day. Overall - It started bad but I'd say its a decent hotel for the price you pay and the the lcoation was awesome for Montreal.

The breakfast service was poor. There were numerous deficiencies, and just one staff member was responsible for refilling items and cleaning the tables.

J'ai fait une réservation le 15 Novembre 2025 à 23h30. Je voulais réserver pour le 15 Décembre pour mon séjour prochain à Montréal mais malheureusement j'ai sélectionné la date du 15 Novembre (le même jour). J'ai constaté 2 jours après car ayant reçu le message qui me demandait de noter l'hôtel. Surpris, j'appelle l'hôtel pour dire que c'était une erreur et demande à être reprogrammer le 15 Décembre, ils me disent non c'est impossible et me demandent d'appeler la compagnie par laquelle j'ai effectué la réservation. J'ai contacté la Compagnie en question et la compagnie à son tour à contacter l'hôtel pour expliquer la situation et la réponse était toujours négative. Quelle rigidité!!! Même les billets d'avions sont remboursés ou reprogrammer voyons!! Le service à la clientèle ne semble pas être leur préoccupation. C'est vraiment dommage...

Staff was great, room was clean, bed comfortable, breakfast was good one note if any would be I wish there was better lighting and the turn dial of the shower seemed to be backwards when you would turn it hot it would be cold and when you turn it to cold, it would be hot but not a problem once you figure that out. Overall very good stay and would stay again.

My reservation was cancelled prior to my arrival, after a 6.5hr drive. I then had to wait almost 30 minutes for the Duty Manager to “appear”, but that was after I was told I had cancelled the reservation. Them not realizing they were referencing the wrong booking. I was given an upgrade for the trouble, Thank you! But that I'm sure was because of the different reasons, and the long wait I had to endure. I then got to the room and there was hair on top of and under the top sheet, the blanket had crust all over it. I made no compliant. 5 stars for the location. The lady at the desk had too sour of an attitude Sunday morning when I went to extend, she told me I had to check out and then wait until 4:00pm to check back in. Luckily the very competent manger solved the issue and simply and most likely had her just check me out and back in. I wasn't expecting much. They have all my empathy and grace, though clean sheets would have been nice.

We arrived to find that the toilet was not flushing, there were what appeared to be blood stains on the tub, and a large yellow stain on the mattress and sheets. When we asked for another room, the front staff told us that the hotel was fully booked and offered us a refund. We accepted the refund and they gave us 10min to leave the premises. I have still not received my refunded money.

It’s the worst hotel you can stay in please stay awayyy.. we booked this hotel a month ahead and recieved confirmation that we can check in at 1:00Pm until 11 next day. We reached there around 2pm there was this girl who assisted us at the reception we showed her everything but she kept saying no you can check in at 4 we only let people check in at 4 we showed her it says 1 but she didn’t listen and was so rude. We waited there and saw all the other people getting inside their rooms from reception. This was disgusting the worst part is her shift exchanged and new lady comes in we ask her the same question after waiting for almost an hour and she told us our room is already ready and it was at 3:pm she did not say it will be ready at 4 or whatsoever worst worst service ever: we couldn’t get out keys to the door they manually opened the door for us saying keys aren’t working they can open whenever if we are not in the room worst hotel worst service and not safe at all please DO NOT COME HERE.
