There's a few issues we ran into staying at LeLux.
1. The shower was terrible. Drainage system is super bad and floods the tub and takes over 5 mins to drain. The shower head is not consistent with the pressure and it feels like you're being pelted with water. It's very uncomfortable
2. Windows are a major satefy concern. There's no net and they're close to the ground. The possibility of a child climbing up and falling out is possible
3. The amenities are not the greatest. It basically seems as if they spent their money on lobby and no where else. The gym is sad and carpeted (ew, health concern) and breakfast is sad. It's nice that they offer food but it's better to go out and get food.
4. Parking is 50 per day. Keep that in mind
We made do with what we had however, we won't be coming back

The hotel overcharged me for parking, and I have substantial documentation to support my claim, including receipts and recorded conversations through Expedia's messaging platform. Despite providing this evidence, I have not received a refund.

I also sought assistance from Expedia, but they were unable or unwilling to help resolve the issue with the hotel. Given the amount of time I have already spent trying to correct this billing error, I am no longer able to continue pursuing the matter myself and am requesting that it be addressed promptly.

Parking was not included . They were gonna charge extra for the parking which was more expensive than else where indoor parking . It was so hard to find parking and I was not able to contact hotel though phone . Everytime I tried to call customer service it was going to Expedia . I tried putting hotel name to get phone number but was unsuccessful. Cannot reach this hotel direct number to ask for parking . They should have direct phone number to answer .

The property is in good condition and you get good value for your money. The reception desk staff is very professional and friendly. The lobby is dark and needs to be brightened up with rich vibrant colors.

The room and the washroom were clean. The elevator is very old and there is only one for the whole hotel, so we had to take the stairs most of the time. Breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but at least there was something. In total for the price, this is a decent place 👌

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and overall the stay was pleasant. However, I was surprised by the $50 per night parking fee, as it was not clearly disclosed during the booking process. Fortunately, I was able to find a more affordable parking option nearby.

The breakfast experience was disappointing. The area was not well maintained, and there were very limited food options available. Greater transparency regarding parking costs and improvements to the breakfast service would enhance the guest experience.

I would likely stay here again. The parking garage is VERY tight parking spaces but if you book in advance there is parking.

I was very apprehensive when I read the negative reviews, but it was fine. Decent room, clean, comfortable bed, included breakfast was fine. The on-site parking was good. Yes the property is dated and worn, decor is dark, but overall I was pleased with our stay.

The room was ok, nothing out of this world; however, there were a lot of little malfunctions such as the bathroom light not working, and one of the outlets wasn’t working properly as well.

Hébergement bien situé et abordable. Nous avons eu une nuit tranquille. Le déjeuner buffet est correct sans plus. L’hôtel est vieux alors les portes avant ne fonctionnaient pas bien tout comme les ascenseurs. Nous étions au 5ième étage et nous n’avons jamais été capable d’utiliser l’ascenseur parce qu’il ne s’arrêtait pas à notre palier.

Nous avons communiquer avec le service aux chambres pour nous aider à faire fonctionner le téléviseur et ils ont venus rapidement régler la situation.

La chambre avait l’air âgée mais le lit était confortable et tout fonctionnait parfaitement.

Le stationnement de nuit est sécuritaire maïs dispendieux.

À recommander pour un cour séjour.

Oh boy, this is NOT a 3-star hotel as what was rated in Expedia ad. Very dirty room, heat not worked, bathroom filthy, wallpaper pealed off, Air-conditioning not worked, cannot access the dresser because there was no knobs, cannot access the fridge because there was no knobs, toilet bowl cracked, basic breakfast, worse yet is the parking is $45 /day, but never mentioned in Expedia. I want my $$$ back.

It's affordable for a reason. The room I had was very old and outdated, but clean enough for an overnight stay. The installed wall air conditioner seemed to be broken so there was a floor model with a hose to the window instead - Very loud. The parking offered is expensive, so I parked in a covered garage a little up the street for a fraction of the price. The staff were very pleasant and the location is right downtown.

I was very happy with my stay from May 25 to May 28. We came all the way from Toronto. Staff was so nice. They were able to accommodate us to get our room at 2:30 just because we came from Toronto. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It’s walking distance to all the main attractions.

The location is good. This property is so poorly maintained. It must have been a beautiful hotel at some point, but this management has decided not to invest on the property at all. The sheets are so cheap and worn so much. The comforters were stained and ripped. The TV remote didn't work. They didn't even come to clean the room. The cleanliness was pretty good. That is the only good thing. The continental breakfast menu was pretty good but the place is so run down, they never have enough utensils. The breakfast worker were helpful. I would not recommend thsi place.

When first checking in the lady was kind. The lobby was nice and updated but when we got to our room we were taken back to the 70s but not in a cute way. The walls had holes and falling apart wallpaper, the lamp was stained dirty, rust on the roof, spider nests in the window, fan didnt work in the bathroom, the bed was literally from the 70s with the floral old pattern and very well used that it was extremely lumpy. The 2nd night the AC broke and the room went to 25.5, asked them to fix it and was told \"We dont put AC on in May because it could get cold next week. We wait until June.\" We did not get a good sleep due to this. Next day they probably had multiple complaints and the AC was fixed again. They provided me a new bed sheet to change the bedding myself since we found a giant spider in it, but they were unfazed over the cleanliness of their rooms.
The location to walk to Old Port and Old Montreal was great, it took us no time at all.
Breakfast was not good, only protein was hard boiled eggs and they only would make a few at a time. Staff guarded the doors so you cannot take food to your room and we're quite rude to people who wanted to take a croissant back. I asked about the coffee since there were 2 pots and wanted to know if one was decaf, the worker was very rude and she said its coffee and walked away. The gym is very minimal.
100% would not stay here again.

This hotel is good for the price. It's in a good location. We didn't use their parking lot because we have a Ram pickup truck that wouldn't fit in their lot. But we found parking down the street for less. We found the room small for a family of 4, but okay for sleeping. The elevator is a little sketchy. If you're claustrophobic like me, I recommend using the stairs.

This is my review I posted on Google: Ultimately, this hotel was very gross. Curtains haven’t been washed in who knows how long, lamp shades were dirty, and the sheets and the floors haven’t been cleaned either. Additionally, there was no circulation in the room whatsoever. It became so humid that the windows fogged up and water dripped from them. We had asked for a fan to fix the issue, but were never given one or even told that one was available. I have no issue with how things look, we paid a low price for our stay, but cleanliness is standard at any establishment. My friend's eyes began to swell, and she got hives from sleeping in the beds. Additionally, the bathroom light kept malfunctioning. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The images are very misleading, as are the reviews on Expedia. I loved Montreal, but this hotel was a disgusting experience, and we won’t stay there again.

Bed was the hardest mattress I’ve ever used and the pillows need replaced as they were incredibly soft. The breakfast was incredibly basic and served on paper plates and paper bowls. The lift feels dated and close to dangerous with an odd layout to the hotel.

The desk help were pleasant and efficient. The room decor and shape were old and in need of updates and some deep cleaning. The curtains and furniture looked like they were from the 1970's and definitely needed replacement. The bathroom caulk and tile were in need of some deep cleaning. The shower water did ot drain while showering and was several inches deep when done. Surprisingly, the bed was quite comfortable and I slept well. The free breakfast was fine for some morning coffee and snacks.
Overall though, I got what I paid for--a cheap hotel that I stayed at for one night.

Had a terrible check in experience. The parking lot is chaos with poles taking up entire spots and not enough spots for all guests. When asking the front desk if they knew of other lots nearby they had no idea of the area and were very unhelpful. We stayed for 4 nights and on the 3rd day I had to go to the front desk to ask for my room to be cleaned as we had gone through our towels and toilet paper with garbage bins overflowing. Overall not a great experience, wouldn't stay here again.

I booked my stay through Expedia, but when I arrived, they informed me that my booking had been canceled. I never received any notification about this, and instead, I was given a random room. I wasn’t compensated for the inconvenience. The staff was okay; they answered my questions, but they weren’t very helpful. The elevator was terrible—it felt like a roller coaster. If they don’t maintain it in a few weeks, they might just install stairs to get out. It was incredibly scary to be in the elevator. The property also had very old chairs and mattresses. If you’re planning to stay there, take it at your own risk.

The bathroom needs a little maintenance especially the toilet seat,and the dining area need more necessities and to have the dirty silverware properly stocked not on the floor in a small container. And for the elevator it’s terrible,I have to use the stairs all the times because of fear the elevator dropping suddenly. And the plug in walls need to change as well. Staff good.

You basically get what you pay for. This hotel was cheaper compared to many others around the same area and that does come with its own reasons. We booked rooms here twice last month. First one was a 2 queen bed room which had all the necessary items like microwave, fridge, iron, tv, free wifi, good air conditioning, etc. The second room was a 2 double bed room which was almost half the price but the comfort of those beds were also significantly worse. The heater was older and a bit loud whenever it was working. No microwave, fridge, and the ironing table kept dropping to the floor because of its bad quality. So I would recommend getting the queen bed room and nothing cheaper. There is an extra parking fee of 35$ per night with limited spots so come early... but ofc not earlier than 4pm since they dont check in before that. The breakfast is so limited to a handful of items to pick from, but the staff and services were really good and helpful. The elevator wasn’t working on one of the days we were there but they did get it fixed in a few hours. So, really just an average hotel you can stay in for few days if you dont expect a lot of high quality/luxury and want something for a low budget. 3.5/5 experience.

We are a family of five and booked 3 rooms and it was NOT a good experience. It started when we first walked in. The lobby is unclean and there were no staff at the counter. When we went up to the rooms it had a smell and wasn't the cleanest. The next day one of us woke up to bed bugs!! Of course we told the staff but it seemed like no surprise to them. They're probably used to getting this complaint. Honestly it was a disgusting experience and I would never go again. At least they returned the pay for that one night though. My advice, don't book a room here unless you want ned bugs up your a$$.

The hotel has a central heating system, and there is no heating control in the rooms. On the first night, the room was extremely hot. We called the front desk, but they told us someone would only be able to check it the next morning. We tried opening the window to cool the room down, but the outside noise was extremely loud.
The next night it felt like there was no heating at all, so the temperature was very inconsistent.
Another issue was during breakfast: the reception carpet was vacuumed every morning while guests were eating. The noise was very loud—it felt like having breakfast next to an airplane turbine.

The room was comfortable with all the amenities one would need and expect (soap, USB socket, WiFi, TV). The location is really good with Berri UQAM very close and many restaurants and cafes nearby - I booked here for proximity to the Village. Staff made check-in and -out easy. Generally everything is very clean, although the lampshades seemed dirty (probably a function of the old furnishings in the room).
