The hotel is next to subway station. Very convenient. The front desk gave me a lot of help. I really appreciate it.

Comfy beds and friendly front desk staff helped us store our bags. Comfortable stay. Great location next to subway.

great for our short stay, very convenient location.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The bathroom was filthy and clearly had not been cleaned properly. There was mold on the shower curtain, the toilet had a black ring inside the bowl, and the sink was dirty, including the bottom where grime had built up. There were even mosquitoes in the bathroom.
The level of cleanliness was completely unacceptable. A hotel should meet basic hygiene standards, and this one failed miserably. I was extremely disappointed and would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Janette
There is no uniqueness in this hotel. Yah this is a cheaper price compared to others with a difference of $40-$50 per night. But other hotel has free bfast and amenities are free like lundry. Complementary juice and coffee in the lobby all day free. The room smell is not good. The bed, i think there is insect biting. Washroom, no exhaust fan not that clean and smels bad. I’ve been to different cheler hotel.not like this. Overall 1star. The customer serveice is just average. Need a lot of improvement

Really close to metro easy to access route to old Montreal and The Bell Center we will return

Common areas were showing their age. Hallways were hot and dirty. Guest rooms were updated, but bathrooms were dingy and outdated
Tammy
The room was clean. The convenience of the metro across the street was amazing!

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff at front desk. Made us and our dogs feel very welcome. Breakfast was also quite good for the price.
Nice hotel overall with free parking and easy access in a great location.
Only improvement recommended would be to the fitness center and having drinking water available and replacing some missing dumbbells and handles

Great location. Easy. Quick access to Metro. Fair price.

The room was very spacious and comfortable and the desk staff very helpful. The hotel was sold out and the wait for elevators very long. Also the elevators have seen better days.

Beware of parking - our friends had their 2014 Lexus SUV stolen from the parking lot even though it was gated. They drove over the side walk. We have come to find out Montréal is considered the car stealing capital of the world! Metro is right next to hotel so a convenient location. Consider flying in and not taking your car or bring an older model that they don’t want to steal.

The hotel was conveniently located near the Montreal Metro. It was a bit dated but had a comfortable bed and was cl an and quiet while we were there.

Fantastic staff. Very helpful in any request. Super close to metro which is just across the street. This was super helpful to roam around the city with kids. Very clean rooms and great view if you are on higher floors. They have a good indoor pool and restaurant which is good enogh. Fairly okay breakfast for a reasonable payment. I would love to be here again and recommend to anyone.

Exceeded Expectations — Excellent Location for Visiting Montreal
The Sandman Hotel Montréal-Longueuil exceeded our expectations. It is not directly in downtown Montreal, but that is actually part of its appeal. The Metro is only a few steps away, making it an excellent base for trips into downtown Montreal and other parts of the city without the trouble of driving and parking.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and free of unpleasant odours, which is always one of the first things I notice. Our room was quiet overall, apart from some children making noise for a short time, but it did not last long and did not affect the stay.
The staff were excellent throughout: friendly, efficient and helpful. The restaurant staff also stood out for being pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was acceptable if you are in a hurry, though not something I would choose as a leisurely meal.
The location is the real strength here. With the Metro so close, the hotel works very well for sightseeing, business travel, or anyone wanting convenient access to Montreal without staying right downtown. Overall, this was a practical, clean and well-run hotel, and I would highly recommend it.

Well maintained, neat and clean room and washroom

Elevators were terribly slow pick a low floor. Ice machine machines weren’t working. No fan in bathroom.

Stayed for a National Competition; very close to the Basin. Having a restaurant onsite was extremely helpful with late days and food was very good. Excellent having the subway with other amenities. Would recommend.
Negative was that bathrooms a needed work (toilet was an issue) and no ice machines working (sorry 1 in the whole hotel) not good when there for a sport and days.

Great place to stay. Property is a little dated, but the upkeep is good. Good location to get to downtown quickly. Shopping mall is close by. Take out food available in the bus terminal. We did not enjoy the breakfast for the $16.
Phil
Location is easy access to Old Montreal, pool is amazing, and parking is free! If you want to try the metro it’s literally across the street. Quiet and very comfortable.

Very good location. Close to the highway. Just the opposite of the bus/No.4 metro terminal.Kind and helpful staff.

IF YOU DON’T SPEAK FRENCH, you’ll receive a sour face right in the desk.
Julia, the lady that did our check in and sadly the check out seems that she does not like speak anything but French.
But don’t worry, it is a general behaviour in Montreal and Quebec if you don’t speak French. I’m from Costa Rica and if someone doesn’t speak English, will find the way to help the tourist. It is a must here speak French, even if you’re tourist.
As I always said. If a do a review is because I not coming back again,

just perfect location perfect price. very good for the value. front desk was excellent

You couldn't possibly be closer to public transportation and that's this place's saving grace.
The room needed to be vacuumed, the surfaces were sticky and I had to wipe them down myself, there was small trash and detritus strewn around and behind the bed - an ear plug, a child's earring, a gummy bear.
The breakfast was fine, though the price seemed high for just cold items. Nevertheless, I couldn't speak more highly of the breakfast attendants, who were lovely and efficient.

We enjoyed our stay here. Although the exterior building and lobby are dated, our room appeared to be recently renovated and was very comfortable and clean. The service we received at the front desk was exceptional and helpful as we were looking for assistance to get around the city. The location was perfect if you wanted to take the metro into the city and there are several food options nearby.
Marie-Claire

The main issue I had were the other guests staying there. I was woken up at 6:30 am with kids running the halls and screaming.

Rooms were clean, staff very helpful, great onsite restaurant. Just expensive but that seems most hotels these days!!

very loud while trying to sleep and got woken up very early because of kids

Rented 2 rooms, one room was fine, the other room, was aweful. Through the night I woke up to something scratching at my leg, i reached down and it was a pair of glasses! In the bed, under the sheets. They absolutely did not change the bed sheets from the previous guest. Disgusting. There was a old fruit tray and garbage in the fridge. I told the front desk upon check out, all they said was oh wow sorry. Really? Well im sorry too, i will never return and will tell everyone about my experience. I had a credit for the restaurant, but good luck getting to use it. Very bizarre and small window of time where it is actually open. The only perk of this hotel was its location and it proximity to the metro station, other then that, i would suggest finding a different hotel!!

The room was a bit run down. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. Great location for the F1 Grand Prix. Very easy to get to on the metro.
Lilli
Decent hotel with nicely decorated rooms and comfy beds. We stayed here because it is close to Parc Jean-Drapeau and the metro station. Turns out that other concert fans had the same idea and flooded the metro station, causing an hour-and-fifteen-minute wait at the metro ticket machines - so questionable if the close proximity was actually a help. Sandman Hotel is one metro stop away from Jean Drapeau. Maintenance could be better (peeling wallpaper seams in the bedroom), although this was not a dealbreaker for me. Housekeeping was super nice (as was the front desk), but I had to request a room vacuum because of crushed chips left on the floor. Other trash (a Lindt chocolate bar wrapper and a spool of thread) was overlooked from the previous room guests. I would stay here again if it was the most convenient hotel nearby.
Holly
Wonderful service. Friendly staff. Very close to the metro station, made travelling into downtown easy
RICHARD
only cold break fast offered

Breakfast ok, room needed tiddy up. A/c was out of order in the 1sts room and 2nd room there was mold and hairs in the shower bath.. will likely not return
Angela
The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Free onsite parking, breakfast was included for our stay but there might be a charge during other stays. Very close to the Metro, just outside the hotel door. It was a convenient one stop train ride to the CGV for the F1 race. The hotel restaurant was a nice place to grab dinner after a long day at the Circuit. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for F1! Right next to the Metro and only 1 stop away from the F1 location.
Staff were amazing! Breakfast was great minus the eggs. The pool is dated and my kids felt it was it was creepy with the poor lighting and open doors that led to a lower level. Parking is okay. The hotel also offers public parking and many pay to park here due to its proximity to the metro. During event times it’s double, triple parking and you have to leave your keys. But they try their best to accommodate everyone. This hotel pulled out all the stops for this event and made guests feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again.
