We were not expecting to have a full kitchen available to us. Love the location as well! Super close to Olympic Park! Contacted the neighbour for parking they suggested. Super amazing and great parking!

We attended a soccer game at Saputo stadium, so the location was excellent. There are aome great restaurants on Ontario St, and because it waa the first Friday of the month, the Food truck festival was on at Olympic stadium - well worth visiting.

I had a great stay here. The property was extremely clean, organized, and very well maintained, with attention to detail that reminded me of a hotel in Las Vegas. As someone traveling with a rental car, having convenient parking through their arrangement with the neighboring property was very practical and affordable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude throughout my stay.
The location is also excellent, especially for solo travelers. It felt safe, convenient, and close to many attractions. The Botanical Garden is just a short distance away, which was a nice bonus. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STAY HERE. This company is unreachable. Try calling the number, it goes nowhere. Same with the email. Do NOT STAY HERE. After booking through expedia, they never contacted me to confirm until 15 mins before 4pm on the day of. Expedia tells me this place DENIED my refund request, after having to stay somewhere else and for one less day. If you are booking with your child near the biodome, prepare an alternative location and get you child ready for disappintment, as that is all that awaits you here.

The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the the broken oven handle. We had a difficult time understanding why this couldn't have been repaired or the entire range replaced. If children were present, it is a safety hazard.

This place is so cozy and so spacious. We enjoyed the great big kitchen and honestly had all the cookware / appliances we needed. As health-conscious travellers we don't want to eat every single meal at a restaurant, and we enjoy to cook for ourselves sometimes. The suite was beautiful, a luxurious bed and the bathtub was divine. Can fit two people easily! A really sweet, romantic getaway for us. Also about 3 minutes away from the metro station, you just can't beat that!

We stayed in Apartment 3 for 2 nights. The bedrooms were clean and overall apartment was clean and conveniently located. If you don’t mind a paranormal experience, this place can check all the boxes. However, for us this was by far one of the most terrifying experiences of our lives. Starting past midnight, while everyone was asleep we started hearing footsteps and floors creaking right outside our bedrooms in the hallway coming from inside the apartment. My husband and I jumped up and checked it out but there was nothing. No noise coming from the apartment next door, either. Our daughter thankfully did not notice it and only woke up once to use the restroom. The footsteps inside our apartment kept pacing between the two bedrooms, our doors were open, we saw nothing, but we could not sleep out of fear and the loudness of the steps and creaking floors. These noises kept us up til 2 am the first night and until 5am the next night. Both night we also heard what sounded like the neighbours leaving between 2-4am in the morning. We would have done the same had it not been for our daughter and trying not to freak her out. We will not be staying here again.

Know that this is 35 minutes from the center of town by metro, 20 minutes and about 18CAD by uber. The gardens are amazing and Olympic park. But dark and residential at night. Place was fine. Room lovely, beautifully decorated and clean. You never see anyone and have ti come in by codes and lock boxes. Kitchen clean but nothing but coffee seems to be available. Some places have milk, biscuits, tea...but it was a good price and got us to the autumn light show at the gardens which we had NO idea about.

Property owners were easy to contact, helpful, and left a guide in the room of recommendations for our trip. We would’ve liked to have some extra towels, toilet paper, etc. in our room as we had a bit of a longer stay and ran out. But this was the only critique, I would happily recommend this to any friends visiting :)

The stay felt more like an AirBNB in a condo than a hotel, which was fine, but something to expect if needing amenities or wanting a 24H front desk. It was very clean. Self check in was smooth and they were quick to respond to texts in English and/or French. The hotel is close to Pie-IX métro which made commuting by public transit very easy, as well as the Biodome and other city attractions. The place is old so the floors creak and you can hear the other neighbours walking around; however the area was quiet and safe, making it easy to sleep.
This is a personal gripe but the pillows provided were the fluffy kind that really elevates your head and we both found that our necks were sore. If I could change one thing about Hotel Gite du Survenant it would be to have some flat pillows in the closet to have options, but that’s very minor haha.
I’d strongly recommend staying here, whether you are a single traveller or a group!

The property was in good shape, no complaints about it. Just something about their staff and customer service: I booked my stay through expedia. I wanted to make changes to my reservation more than 48 hours earlier to my scheduled stay due to flight interruption, an expedia agent helped me to message them but I didn’t receive a reply even after I checked-in(they have contactless check-in).
When the expedia agent raised my query they responded that, a manager is needed to approve the change and was not present momentarily. That’s it, no response after that, totally ghosted. Felt helpless.

Near the train station which made it convienient and in the summer walkable to the olympic Oval. I lucked out with parking everyday across the street in front of the hotel, the street only has a few spots available. Add to your cost per night to park in the olympic parking garage up the street. The room was clean, but this is very much apartment living, I was in the champaigne room and the ceiling fan from the unit below would vibrate my bed. Here's the plusses: its clean, centrally located and no frills. Check-in is a breeze and the pricing is beyond reasonable.

The property is okay the only downside is that the room dusty with cobwebs present in the room. The bed sheet was dirty with hair all over it. I had to remove it and sleep with my tower and travel duvet on it. It was not communicated that the washroom/bathroom is outside the room.

Excellent stay here! Would definitely recommend it for its amenities, cleanliness, service, and especially its location. Parking at the neighbor's worked out great also.

The property is very spacious and clean however it was advertised that it is an air conditioned unit but the AC (just namesake AC as it felt like a fan, not cool enough) is in the living room and both the bedrooms didn't have any ventilation or any cool air coming in. One of the fans provided was not working and there was no response when we requested for one so we had to use the futon to sleep at night instead of one of the bedrooms. There is a cooler in the kitchen which was pointless as it didn't direct any cool air to the bedrooms. It will be very hot in peak summer.The apartment is in a space with limited parking so beware of finding parking as street parking fills up fast. The heat dampened the mood of the stay else it would have been good stay.

The apartment was very nice and location perfect right across metro and Montreal stadium. Easy entry. Our only issue is that in the semi basement unit, the noise from above floor occupants is loud and prevent me from sleeping. Parking situation is perfect with neighbour renting space.

The self check-in and check-out makes it a discrete accommodation option, as you won’t have to interact with reception staff. The room was renovated, modern, with comfortable bed and bedding. Nice, new bathroom, but no TV.

Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the train and walking distance from the botanical garden, biodome, and planetarium among other parks. Instructions to get into the building and room were clear and the place was clean and well maintained. We rented parking in a neighbor’s driveway around the corner as the property suggested, which was convenient and inexpensive.
My only note is that the front door of the building didn’t consistently close/ lock properly.

I liked that is was 2 bedrooms and very cozy and clean. You have to really pay attention on where you can and can not park on the street.The hotel does offer a number to call to reach out to them if you have questions about the parking.

We adored our lovely little gite. It felt so homely. Sure it was a bit compact and creaky at times but it felt so charming especially with its view to the tower on the Montreal Olympic stadium! Couldn’t have been closer to the metro which enabled us to explore the whole city and produce unforgettable memories. Parking was difficult as there are major restrictions unless you’re a resident (not very accommodating for visitors) but we were able to stay on a neighbours driveway who was accommodating at a price. Overall a great stay.

Vraiment un bel endroit. La chambre est propre et cozy ! Les indications sont claires pour l’arrivée. Très près du stade olympique et saputo. Nous avions la chambre MT Royal. Superbe !! Difficile pour le stationnement mais tout est impeccable sinon !

Very good facility for the price and accurate what they provide. Very clean, excellent location to use public transportation. We had a car and this was most challenging throughout our time in Montreal. Parking is at a premium in that it is very difficult to find. We were fortunate to be able to pay for a place just down the street as a referral from the property owners.

This property is a hotel/bed and breakfast blend. You have a private room and bathroom but the kitchen and main entry is shared. If I’d known that I’m not sure I would have booked it. But it was comfortable and convenient to the Pie-IX metro stop. Would’ve liked it to have been dusted better (headboard and center light) and the outlet on one side of the bed was wired to the switch (can’t charged my phone while I’m sleeping unless the switch was on and the bulb unscrewed).
Overall not a bad place to stay, but I probably won’t return.

Nice room in a quiet setting. We had a private bath, but one that was outside the room and accessible through a common area, so not ideal but no big deal. Location and cleanliness were excellent.
