The check-in was fantastic and the manager running the process was very helpful and friendly. We loved the closeness to the event that we went to and the room was perfect for two of us and we quite enjoyed the breakfast which was included on weekends. The only thing that was strange was the checkout took about 10 minutes to get our refund back and somebody needed to go check the room first before they would credit my credit card.

Enjoyed our stay, my only suggestion for an improvement would be a few hooks and hangers in the room for towels and clothes. Also a toilet paper holder would be nice.
Very nice staff, helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was hearty and healthy, coffee machines were awesome. The manager Marc was very helpful as were the breakfast room staff.

We sincerely enjoyed our stay at Le Chablis. The staff were kind and helpful, location was excellent for our needs. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee machine was a huge plus! The only downside was that you could easily hear people in the hallway outside of the room and the people above the room. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend this property!

Came here for the F1 weekend. Was booked for a queen bed and a sofa bed but was pleasantly surprised that it came with 2 queen beds. Room was small but it was all that was needed. Room was clean and cleaned everyday. Every thing worked. Bed comfortable. The hotel is located about 3-5 minute walk away from the metro which is very easy to use for short trip to downtown and or to the track. Highly recommend.

La fille à l'accueil le premier jour était bête cependant lors du départ super gentil. L'air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas, jai pas appelé mais jai ouvert la fenêtre, pas de moustiquaire sur la fenêtre. Lors du départ jai dis que l'ai climatisé ne fonctionnait pas. Il est venu voir et il n'était pas branché. À l'extérieur, des gens bizarres étaient assis dehors aux tables de l'hôtel, mais ce n'était clairement pas des gens de l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner compris parfait, distance du stade olympique parfait. Homme à tout faire parfait. Propriétaire super sympathique.

Clairement un hôtel de passe, le monde à la réception viens louer à l’heure 😅. Ça sent la cigarette dans les couloirs, beaucoup de monde étrange » traîne dans la cours intérieur autour des autos. Et les réceptionnistes sont très bêtes.
On m’a même dit que le ménage aux chambres journalier était exigé par la police.

The room was nice and clean, staff was prompt and helpful, and parking was no problem. The hotel is a very easy walking distance to the train, making the rest of the city accessible. The place is nothing fancy, and the wifi service was hardly passable. Would recommend if you're planning to spend almost all of your time out and about and just need a clean+safe place to lay your head.

The worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Staff were unresponsive when I attempted to contact the property ahead of time to inform of a late check-in. I left an email and tried calling for 30 minutes straight. Only after leaving negative feedback on Expedia did they mysteriously respond a minute later.

On my second night at around 1am I was awoken in a panic as staff unlocked my door and entered my room. Even giving the benefit of the doubt that it was an honest mistake it begs the question what are they doing so late? The walls are thin and the noises from the hallway can be heard clear as day. So after being rudely awoken with the worst invasion of privacy I've ever experienced at a hotel, it was hard to get back to sleep with the staff running up and down the hallways talking on their radios.

This place is not cheap either, I spent over $200 a night for an experience I couldn't recommend even if it were free. The quality of the room was serviceable at best, and the hallways smelled of poorly masked cigarette smoke.

I would steer far clear.

We stayed for 2 nights in Room 210 (second floor - stairs only, no elevator).
Check-in was easy but the lady was a bit curt and did not speak English very well. I was surprised that a $100.00 deposit was charged to my credit card, which was then refunded at check-out.
PROS: Ample parking in the lot within the hotel grounds. The room was neat and clean but not SPOTLESS. The hallways smelled of cigarettes (like a casino floor) although our room was non-smoking. The bed was firm and comfortable with clean linens (I inspect linens all the time). The washroom was quite spacious with a walk in shower (which we prefer - no bathtub). The shower was strong with good pressure and heat. The windows had good black-out blinds. The breakfast was very simple: hot (eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage) and cold (cereal, granola bars, yogurt, very TINY croissants, bread slices that could be toasted, coffee and tea.

CONS: The washroom is lacking with HOOKS (to hang towels, clothes), no SHELVES to place toiletries, a large sink with a very narrow counter space. Not even a hook behind the door - so much vertical wall space and nothing in the way of hooks or shelves. The A/C unit was very strong in the cooling but extremely LOUD - we couldn't sleep with the loud noise from the cycling of the cooling (temps in Montreal during our stay was between 28-32 Celsius). The closet was a BLACK-HOLE - it was not lit and therefore very difficult to see what you had stored. Sofa was plastic not fabric.

-Found an old pack of cigarettes hidden behind the dvd player.
-No towel holder for the sink, or toilet paper holder, or counter/shelf space.
-No \"do not disturb\" sign.
-Only one available wall plug accessible and even the staff couldnt tell me where it was (they came in the room), I had to move a bedside table to find it.

The shower room in our hotel unit has no door, which is extremely inconvenient. The toilet is in a separate room, and it’s the only place with a garbage can. This means every time we need to throw something away, we have to go into the toilet. Whoever designed this unit clearly didn’t consider practicality.

Additionally, the hot water produces so much steam that it circulates throughout the unit, turning the entire room into a sauna—very uncomfortable.

We chose not to take the free breakfast after our first morning because I saw a cockroach on a plate, sleeping too lol, which was absolutely disgusting.

On a positive note, the staff were friendly and there were plenty of towels available. However, the issues mentioned above seriously affected our stay.

OverAll the hotel was in a great location for the montreal tour de ille. That was important to me. Additionally it was minutes away from the cadillac metro station. Really convenient. The bad things were the toilet did not flush properly. They did not allow bikes in the room even after i called to confirm thst was ok. Other things that i thought was odd. Why did the first person say i could have a bike in the room and they would reserve a first floor room for me. Both were not true. These comments are not to criticize the team there but just to inform tourist that may not speak french and have trouble communicating. Which clearly was me. I do thank the staff for going above and beyond when they were aware of the situation.

Attempted to call for an early check in and was told they didn’t have my reservation. When asked to check my reservation number they hung up. Called back multiple times and was hung up on after they said “hello”. My partner attempted to call and they answered, put hold and then got hung up on.
On arrival the front office is only staffed with 1 person. They also had 2 children roughly between the ages 4-8 they were attempting to help.
Check in took over 20mins due to lack of organization.
Room door would not close without being slammed shut each time.

However, our non smoking room smelled heavily of smoke upon arrival and the smell did not dissipate. It almost seemed to worsen over the stay. The showers were open to the room (no door) which caused our entire room to become foggy and damp (floors, ceiling, windows, walls). Basic cleaning was done but dust and grime were still present including mystery stains on the tv and hairs on the pillows and in the sheets.

Check in was easy and friendly. The room was smaller than I thought, but clean and comfortable, look good and AC worker well. The bathroom and shower were nice. Since the room was at the edge of a corridor next to the stairs and the room was small, we could hear people talking and walking up the stair to the floor. Also, the hotel took 100$ on my credit (plus the normal fee) as a security depot, but that 100 dollar was never refunded, my room therefore cost 350$ total. I sent a email through their website about that I never got a answer, money never refunded on the July 16. Seem to be a mistake where the clerk charges me 100 and not just reserve a 100 space on the card. at 350$ it was way overpriced. So careful with that.

The stuff refused to assist us, was unprofessional and rude. The manager refused to communicate. They confirmed on the phone that the room would have a hot tub (that was the main reason for reservation there) and there was only a shower. We asked to change the room or to cancel the stay and get a reimbursement but got a refusal on anything. No discount and no attempt to assist was offered and they were blaming us that their receptionist made a mistake.

Awkward moment with my daughter...

We got a reservation change because there was no room left. They gave us a \"hourly rate\" style room... tiny room and bed, intense cigarette smell, windowed and doorless shower, mirrored bed ceiling, dirty floor, stained sheets... I was on a weekend gymnastic competition with my 17 y/o daughter. A bit awkward...

The reservation was for a non-smoking room with a queen bed. Since we made the check-in at 23h00, it was a bit late to find another place when we saw the room. I don't know what type of hotel is this, but the only thing I'm sure of is that I'm never gonna get back there. I paid 268$ for a single night, since the gymnastic competition event got most of the hotels booked. That's a lot of money for what we got! The only positive things were the easy access and the parking space.

The hotel is cozy. However, the system seems outdated. Shower doors were not able to close. The shower head didn’t function well and water was flowing upward, against the shower glass door and lacked pressure. My daughter slipped and fell in the shower due to lack of grip on the floor. There was no iron steamer or ironing board in the room, although they brought one that was stained at the bottom and kept leaking water.

The receptionist was pleasant. Overall, some improvements are in order.

I would start by saying this hotel should not be part of Expedia, Book it or any other legitimate sites. We booked this hotel because we thought the room we selected would be a bit of fun with multiple mirrors and a large glass shower. When we checked in, it was hard to ignore the bullet proof glass separating the staff from the guest. The room was clean although there was a strong chemical smell. The hotel is located in a nice residential area of Montreal and is apparently a place where illegitimate business is conducted. We witness many prostitutes entering and exiting the hotel. I also came across later one evening with what i could only explain as a large man (pimp) cursing and yelling at the hotel staff through the bullet proof glass, saying they were cheating him and his 'girls'. The hotel also doesn't provide fob keys, only traditional keys and as such the outside doors are not locked. We also witnessed several police cars driving around which is very unusual for the area, being a quiet residential neighbourhood. Overall we felt very unsafe and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is a very illegitimate hotel trying to legitimise through reputable sites like Expedia.

Small but well laid out room, nicely decorated, well appointed and very clean. Good heating & AC system. Lots of toiletries and towels provided. Mini - fridge was great to have. Beds _ pillows were very comfortable. Included breakfast was excellent - we were expecting a basic continental breakfast and were pleasantly surprised to find hot sausages, eggs and potatoes too. Breakfast staff were phenomenal - helpful and always on top of keeping everything fresh and well stocked. Front desk staff was also excellent - friendly, efficient and helpful. Free parking was really nice to have, and we walked from hotel to Biodome - an easy 2km walk. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Front desk did not have our reservation when we arrived, and when he finally found it (took him like 20- 30 min) he was extremely rude. I was highly disappointed with the check in experience. The rooms are okay (meh). Be careful in the parking lot, on day of check out from this lovely hotel (I’m being sarcastic) someone hit my car damaging one of my tail lights. Did the hotel say anything or try to help, you guessed it! No lol. Stay at your own risk, I never leave reviews, not even bad ones. But I really had to highlight this, as it really affected my trip, and I would hate the same for any of you.

Room was odd. No plugs for recharging except by the door, floor was overlaid and made noise when stepping on it. Smell of tobacco in the hallways. Pillows were overlarge both of them.
