Good location close to the I95. Gas statiin and restaurants. Room was good..bathroom needed improving. Room was well serviced and they provided decent beddown service. AC needs improving as the system didnt work to get it to our prefered temperature. Good value for money, we will go again,l.

This hotel should be shut down. It is in desperate need of an update. There were holes in the furniture, layers of dust all around the lobby and on the chairs that were in the room. The lobby is taped off with yellow tape, furniture in the lobby is old, scratched and has holes. The pictures on Expedia are very deceiving!

They changed me 100.00 when I checked in that I didn’t know about, so I’d like that returned. Also I was under the impression that there was free parking but there wasn’t any. Had to pay an extra 55.00 for that. I feel like I had been taken.

Airport shuttle was probably best part . Hotel is old . Didn't visit gym . Or the breakfast area . They charge extra for that . And after Hotel looks we just walked to ihop which was a block or 2 . Wasn't the best looking neighbor or area . Plus what was pictured on expedia and listing was way different. And was charged a $3.69 on are card which we don't even know why ? On top of room being paid in advance. I wouldn't stay again . I would pick somewhere else .

It was very convenient for us but had to take uber to hotel as your transportation was not coming - waited 1/2 hr then decided we need to get to hotel to get some sleep!! So paid $25 for that - didn’t like that part at all!! Breakfast was not free - and very not worth the $11 they charged us!! Again we weren’t impressed - very disappointed in it!!

Check-in was chaotic, with too many guests and not enough staff. I added an extra night through their website and received a confirmation email, yet the hotel couldn’t locate the reservation. Although the parent company could see it, staff treated the issue as if it weren’t a problem, leaving me to deal with the glitch myself. Parking is unreliable - don’t count on a spot if cruise guests are using the lot. The carpet is outdated, dirty, and smelly, and it bunches up, making it difficult to roll luggage. While the rates are lower, the overall experience is not worth it. Clarion do better and get rid of that carpet. No one has carpet anymore.

The hotel was nice the room I got the beds were too small for two people to sleep in so My Husband and I did not get too much sleep cause there was no room in the bed. The whole hotel has no heat so if you’re cold natured you’re going to freeze they’ll give you extra blankets though and tell you they’re sorry

The room was clean- the staff was nice. You get what you pay for. The AC worked and the bed was comfortable. Would I hang out in the room or near there? No. The breakfast was not free-($11) but the shuttle from the airport was convenient and helpful.

The room was clean. The bathroom tub needs replacing due to old non stick mat mark it made the bath tub seems unclean. Also when you use the microwave the current in the room chip. Room 821 needs review. Also, the hotel charges you $5 for packages delivered to the hotel. Even if you are not aware of the policy there is no work around. The agent Jorge was nice though. The heater doesnt work so during the cold front I sufferred.

The breakfast was horrible. The eggs looked wet and the sausages look white like they werent cooked. No access to bathroom in lobby unless staff let you in. Alot of construction was happening. They are also exact with check-in time. If you work with airline you are given preferences over people who are waiting for hours to be checked in.

It was one of the top 3 worst places I’ve had to stay at ever. Not only did the hotel have mold and open ceiling issues but the room we had smelled of piss and to top it off NO HOT water!!! I would like a full refund but we did stay considering we got in at 2am and nothing else was available at that time. The room didn’t live up to the pictures and it was not as nice as previous Clarion properties.

We read reviews of the hotel relative to bedbugs and cockroaches before leaving our vacation rental to stay for an early a.m. flight Unfortunately, we had only a non refundable rate. We should have read before, but had only recently decided to do so and choices were limited. Needless to say, WE DID NOT STAY! We remained at our vac. rental instead.
We are surprised that this kind of property is even listed by Expedia, so buyer beware to read reviews and not blindly trust Expedia. We will not ever again!

1st room had running toilet and bathroom light was like a strobe light. We did get a room change. Building was not very clean. When booked the reservation made it sound like the continental breakfast was complimentary but it was $14 US.

Unseasonably cold nights in Miami, but there was no heat. Staff said we’re in Miami, so there’s no working heater in the hotel. TV did not work, called staff 3 times & told someone would come up. Finally, had to go to front desk. Clerk said he had to call manager, since maintenance had not responded to calls. The manager then found maintenance who came upstairs and made repairs. Rooms and lobby are quite date.

Outdated hotel, room and restaurant. I choose this hotel for the airport/hotel shuttle but there is no 24 hr shuttle service . I had to call a taxi to go to the airport. I tried to call before the reservation but long waiting and no answer. Frustrating.

The hotel is old partly under construction. We tried to contact them they would not answer the phone. The staff was not friendly or warm. The room smelled musty bathroom door didn’t close all the way. However it was quiet for its location and the ac worked well. They had a food area they called a restaurant but it was a glorified continental breakfast room that you are charged extra for.

The property and room is run down. It appears they are making some updates, but room lighting is very poor, bathrooms are showing signs of rust and age and felt dirty/dingy. We only needed a one night stay, so we managed but feel like the price was very high. Read fine print closely - the breakfast isn’t included. It was $13/ person for cold eggs, potatoes and sausage. Also some sliced bread and cereal. A complete overcharge on the food. The front desk staff was very helpful.

It was nice to be upgraded to a suite, but I do wish there was a better way to check in. There was a huge line as many people were stranded based on the weather and some flight issues. I wish there'd had been a line for people who already had their stay booked and paid for. Staff was doing their best, but the system just didn't really work that great.

Worst hotel experience ever. They promised an airport shuttle, but they gave me incorrect directions. They said doors 17-20 center median. DONT LISTEN TO THAT!! Book an uber, you’re better off. I called three different times to ensure I knew where to go and they gave me the wrong information and I sat there for two hours by myself. Then I get to the hotel after taking a taxi and my key card does not work five different times. Yes 5 different times I went to the front desk for a new card. I spent more time in the lobby than I did in my room. At one point- I had to sleep on a lobby bench while they checked in other people, and I waited to have my card reactivated. I paid $350 to sleep on a bench. Timothy was a useless manager, and when I asked for his help, he refused to help me. He is by far the worst manager I’ve ever worked with in my life and he made me feel like I was a burden because my key wouldn’t work. I’m embarrassed for them.

The hotel is very dated but has convenient airport shuttle. The reason I booked this hotel was because of the airport shuttle and also the cruise shuttle. I read that we had to call the hotel in advance to book the cruise shuttle however when I did call, they told me you can only reserve when you check in. At check-in they told me that the shuttle only operates from Friday-Sunday something they didn’t tell me when I called. The next day when I was waiting for my Uber, the shuttle shows up to pick up those that had reserved. We never got a straight answer from anyone about this. We were just told to speak to the manager who we never found. I would not recommend this hotel as Customer Service was not the greatest and the hotel a little dingy.

Unfortunately, when we visited, Miami was having a cold spell and the hotel offered no heat anywhere not in the rooms not in the hotel itself, nor did they have extra blankets available and it was pretty chilly in there. The hotel also had a stale funky smell to it in general, and it looked as if they were perhaps trying to remodel, but overall it was very dated. I ended up contacting Expedia and they called the hotel to verify that there was no heat and they immediately refunded my money. We then found another hotel. However, by this time it was nearly midnight and a huge inconvenience. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

The only reason I can provide positive comments is due to the staff and room. Staff are courteous and efficient. The room was spotless. Fairly new bathroom is a plus. You need a mirror in the bedroom area. Get rid of the random wall print to make space.
The hotel is without ANY amenities. That is UNACCEPTABLE considering the cost. It’s a HOTEL not motel. Renovations being in progress are not an excuse to leave the paying guests in the lurch! Get something going besides that quasi coffee station. Do it right, guys. Exterior of hotel is also unacceptable. Looks dilapidated: (the architecture/marquis and steel. Finally, end the extra parking administrative tasks and cost.

Even though I had a confirmed reservation, that was by the way PAID for, when I arrived they told me there was no room for me because they were full to capacity, they overbooked and basically there was nothing they could do.
