I stayed the night before my cruise and I loved the hotel. My booking came with a meal credit due to my Expedia status, and the hotel gave my free breakfast as well.

There is no airport or cruise shuttle, but it’s close enough to the Miami port to do an Uber.

Room was nice and clean. We arrived a bit late, evening staff were a bit off-putting, but the morning staff was exceptional. We only stayed one night prior to our cruise. Breakfast was actually pretty decent and flavorful. The only complaint was the dinner we bought was slightly below average. We didn't use any other amenities. I will say, and I wish I'd gotten her name, the lady I spoke to on the phone after we left went above and beyond. It was Saturday 2/22, around 11-12am-ish. My husband realized he didn't have his wedding band on, so I called to see if the cleaning crew had found it. She said nothing had been turned in, but she'd run up to the room to look. She placed me on hold and less than 10 minutes later she returned and said she found it. She agreed to keep it in safekeeping until the following Saturday. We were able to retrieve it upon our return. Thank you to the lady!!

The rooms and spaces were clean, fun, and comfortable. On-site parking is limited and you are unable to purchase in advance; arrive early to have a better chance at securing a spot. Otherwise, you'll have to park along the street up or down the block (which wasn't difficult or dangerous).
The roof top bar was really fun and relaxing, but was understaffed. She was still warm and funny while running around, so I hope she's being recognized by management.
Breakfast bar was only about $10 and was awesome!
Only took us about 25-ish minutes to get to PortMiami, but traffic and construction could easily slow you down. Port congestion was insane, but that's a different story.
We would definitely consider staying here again.

Room was clean, bed very comfy. We don’t like the half door shower they have going on but it looks very nice. I hated the toilets lol. The restaurant onsite didn’t have pepperoni pizza, or beef for the nachos. Also super slow service. The pool was pretty, it stayed in the shade the entire time we were there, which I bet is great when it’s super hot out! From booking I really thought there was going to be more around, or a little walk by the water, it was more industrial though. Definitely a great location to stay the night before your flight because it’s so convenient to the airport.

An Incredible stay. We previously lived in Miami and were returning for a quick weekend trip with friends for golfing, half marathon, good food, and shopping. With the understanding that Miami traffic can be insane during high commuting times, we opted to stay at a location close to the airport since we had a rental car and didn't want to stress on day of arrival or departure.
Kompose hotel did not disappoint. The on-site parking was extremely helpful for a nominal nightly fee, and on the one day that spaces weren't unavailable, there was ample street parking. The hotel's location is just a few miles from the airport, and situated in a somewhat industrial part of the city, but we had no safety concerns and everything was very close to the freeway, making car travel very seamless.
The amenities were great; gym was well appointed with all the basics and everything was in good working condition. The continental breakfast for a small fee was robust, and I enjoyed the option to pay on a per-visit basis, as opposed to committing early on for a flat fee (some days we wanted to eat on site for convenience, other days venture out). The rooms themselves were large with plenty of storage, and while the aesthetic is somewhat of a minimalist approach, it had everything you needed and in good working condition, including a small space to dine or complete deskwork. We didn't use the pool while we were there, but outward inspection showed that it was clean and well maintained.

1st of all there is no airport shuttle then my wife was on her cycle and there was a lil blood on 2 sheets and not on the mattress and they charged me $100 for 2 sheet i could of went and bout 2 sheets for $20 and the breakfast buffet had food from the day before and they have not released my deposit 3 days later and did i mention they took $100 for 2 sheets and instead of taken the $100 out my deposit they charged my accout for that additional $100

The ability to have luggage storage because early check in wasnt available was definitely a plus and Ive booked a 2nd stay after returning from my cruise. Only issue was with key cards and getting into the room( had to get it reset 2 times and eventually had room staff call downbto gain me entry).Staff was very friendly and helpful. This will be a go to spot whenever Im in Miamj for a cruise vacation.

The location is mostly industrial but if you’re looking for a place to stay over in transit, Kompose is a very good choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is clean and well kept. The cafe and bar are small but functional and the staff is great; important since there are not eateries nearby. The room was clean and in very good condition, albeit somewhat spartan. Could we please have a light on both sides of the bed? We would stay there again.

This was the cheesiest hotel I’ve ever had the misfortune to stay in! The night stands were made out of tin! The lighting was so miserable that you couldn’t find your way through the tiny room! We opted for the breakfast vouchers instead of the $30 food credit which was probably a mistake! We drove all day to get there and were very tired so we decided to have something to eat in the (so called) restaurant. There were three of us and we all decided to have a Cuban sandwich which my son and I had with tostones. My daughter had the sweet plantains! For three sandwiches and plantains it was $80! I will never stay at this place again!
