My boyfriend and I just returned from 4 nights at Casa Teka. We absolutely loved the room and property and felt it was well kept. The cenote on the property was a nice place to unwind and stargaze on a clear night. Location was great and close to so many yummy restaurants. Beach access through clubs is also nearby. We’d definitely stay again!

The property and room were beautiful but the description was misleading. There were only 2 bedrooms also the window in the bathroom was broken previously and was replaced with wood planks and a shade. Because of this bugs constantly got into the room.

Love the Vibe

Absolutely loved Casa Teka. The natural feel of the place was really cool, and the cenote/pool was an interesting touch.
Staff was super friendly and helpful, and they kept our toom exceptionally clean during our stay. The location was great for walkng all around the beach area. Would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Casa Teka. The property is beautiful and is centrally located in the Tulum beach area but secluded enough that you aren’t kept awake by the beach clubs nearby. The team took care of all of our needs from helping to set up taxis to decorating our room for my birthday. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Cute, clean place.

It’s a great quaint little hotel. Nice staff, clean. The only thing that would be nice is if they served a breakfast or had a pool. You do get access to bagatelle nearby to make up for that which is nice.

HONEST WARNING: do not book! There was no running water and no electricity, and the manager refused to issue a refund. The hotel is adjacent to a busy construction site, as well as a nightclub, so there is constant noise day and night. It is surrounded by drug dealers and national guard troops. I was appalled by the conditions, especially considering the price, and am still working to resolve with the management, so far to no avail.

The stay was very hospitable, and the property is gorgeous. It’s two doors down from a loud nightclub, so try to get a room at the back of the property if you want quiet. Will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel on great location . Our check in was smooth and the receptionist went over all and gave us a tour of the property. There’s AC running 24/7, which is not common in Tulum. The cenote on the back of property it’s awesome , you can seat and eat by , there’s always music playing . We ate at the restaurant right next to it , food was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend…

This is a cute boutique hotel. However, before you stay here. Make sure you read all of the fine print, of the rules and regulations before you decide to stay here. There are a lot of things that are not permitted. For example: you are not allowed to have visitors come to your room, even after you paid for it.

Casa Teka is an amazing small hotel with a beautiful cenote, friendly staff. Michael Romero is the manager who makes us feel at home and book all the activities and restaurants. The hotel is new and clean. I would recommend this hotel.

I was shocked when I arrived at the property how nice it was the pictures on Expedia are old there’s been many updates since they were taken. The room was very nice they have a cenote at the hotel where they play music and sell drinks. The property is right across from the beach and just minutes from multiple restaurants a club and convenient store. The best thing about our whole stay was the staff the manager Michelle went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed he called our taxis booked our reservations at restaurants and gave me a ride twice to go to the atm to get cash. All of the staff was very accommodating they helped us make plans and got us good prices on everything 10/10 recommend this place

I was very disappointed with the service at Casa Teka. There were so many little things that made the entire stay uneasy. Pilar (I believe that’s her name) definitely runs the show and has her staff hawking people consistently. The staff is inconsistent with their systems and policy. It was not a comfortable stay. The hotel itself is nice, but they have a long way before they should truly consider themselves a boutique hotel. New management is needed. Someone that truly understands what a luxury boutique hotel service looks like. The beach hotel that you have access to is nice, but still inconsistent with their service as well. Also, if they try to sell you the $80 covid test—thats a joke. The $25 testing site works just fine.

Great place to stay and disconnect. Room 10 has the best view out of the 10 rooms in casa teka, you can see the jungle from above. Bed super comfortable. The only downside is the AC doesnt cool off much, due to the room and most of the walls are flass door and windows. So durin the day will be warm, but no worries at night, its ok. Wifi its not very good, ot keeps disconnecting or didnt have signal.

Good location near lots of restaurants and across the street from the beach. Room was very spacious And had a big shower, wardrobe, fridge, and couch and good lighting and AC which are all good to have luxuries when staying on beach. They also have bikes for rent so it was a great value for the price. It says they have a pool but they don’t, they have a cenote although I was never shown it or told where it was. Would stay again.

Beautiful hotel, broken air conditioner

The hotel is BEAUTIFUL and affordable, however; the air conditioning did not work. Not only was the room hot all day and night, but as I slept, the condensation from the air conditioning unit (which is directly above the headboard of the bed) dripped on my head and pillows all night.

Casa teka is amazing. A new and cool hotel on tulum beach which is walking distance from all the best restaurants and beach clubs that tulum has to offer. The property manager, Michelle, made sure my 10 day stay was as perfect as possible. We will be back for sure.

Air conditioning was weak - partially because there was no glass window in the shower - only a drape covering the window. As a result of this design flaw there were also mosquitos etc in our room at night.
The generator was so loud at night that it was next to impossible to sleep

Beautiful hotel! 10/10. We can’t wait to return!

Our stay here was amazing, 10/10! Complete relaxing vibe that you get as soon as you arrive , stunning views on the terrace with the hammocks, they have there own Cenote where you can relax, and a chill out area which overlooks the jungle.
The staff at Casa Teka went above and beyond with helping us , they were Very friendly and they were very caring when it came to the issues we were facing with travel to do with covid-19.
The rooms were very spacious, clean, a lovely walk in shower , they even had Bose speakers if you want to listen to some music.
It is in the middle of the tulum strip so walking / cycling distance of every restaurant and the beach! so you will not need to spend out on cabs.
If we come back to the beautiful tulum we will definitely be staying here and definitely be recommending to friends! i cannot recommend this hotel enough!! Thank you for such a lovely stay, we were just gutted we couldn’t stay with you longer!

The rooms are big but the architecture is extremely bad; rooms are facing each other and anybody can look directly inside your room.
The access to the beach is far you have to take a bike.
The cenote is beautiful but not exclusive for the hotel so a lot of people hang out there.
We also asked for some comprehension since things got complicated with the COVID announcement and they were not willing to be flexible for the additional nights my son had to stay.

Il posto è uno spettacolo indescrivibile. Eravamo in 4 ed abbiamo preso la suite presidenziale.
Pulizia e confort senza precedenti, non avevamo la colazione inclusa perchè un pò eccessivo il prezzo ma all'interno avevano un Cenote privato.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, l'hôtel est splendide, idéalement situé, les chambres sont très grandes, la literie au top et le personnel fantastiques ! Fait très rare une Cenote fait partie de la résidence c'est juste exceptionnel. L'hôtel offre pas mal de service comme du transport à prix bien plus intéressant que les taxis hors de prix et véritable pièges à touristes.

Beautifull hotel with amazing views and spacious rooms.
But…just besides a open air bar with very loud music untill 3 am.
So if you are in the party scene it’s OK but not for families or people who are looking for a quid night. It’s a pity the hotel doesn’t make notice of this in advance.

El hotel es muy al estilo Tulúm. Es muy bonito aunque no esperes un complejo resort. No tiene alberca ni está sobre la playa, aunque puedes usar las instalaciones de un club de playa que está a unos metros de distancia. Tampoco tiene estacionamiento propio, está a una cuadra de distancia, esto puede ser incómodo al subir y bajar las maletas. Las habitaciones son grandes y muy bonitas. El cenote es muy agradable y tiene un mini restaurante donde pueden servirte desde el desayuno hasta la cena y un bar en el que algunas veces hay DJ, el ambiente es muy bueno. No lo recomiendo para hospedarse con niños, todo el ambiente de Tulum es muy para adultos. La comida del restaurante del hotel es muy buena. Si lo que quieres es ir a descansar NO te recomiendo este lugar, ya que tienen DJ hasta altas horas y el ruido llega a las habitaciones. Es un lugar de fiesta y diversión para adultos.

Estuvimos alojados anteriormente y nos gustó tanto que volvimos a reservar, esta vez con Expedia. Las habitaciones son un lujo, mejor que las fotos con mucha diferencia. La gente muy amable, todos los servicios alrededor y el encanto de Tulum. El cenote privado es una maravilla, incomparable.
