We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coco Unlimited. Our room was less than 100 steps to the shore and we could hear the ocean waves from our room which was so lovely. It was also close enough to the \"strip\" where there were many restaurants and clubs, but it was far enough away that it was quiet at night time. Coco is also about 3 minutes walk away from a GoMart where you can get snacks and drinks for a fair price.
The hotel itself is showing some wear and tear but overall was kept clean, the gardens were well maintained and the pool was attended to regularly and was very clear and refreshing. The restaurant was great, had a good selection of included breakfast options and was all made to order. It also included a cup of coffee and a fresh juice (watermelon was our favorite). We ate at the restaurant outside of the included breakfast a couple of times and enjoyed our meals at those times too. The staff were all friendly and front desk gave us some activity suggestions. We would stay at Coco again.

Hotel staff was amazing. So kind & friendly. The food in their restaurant was sooo good! We loved everything. We had the master suite facing the ocean with a huge balcony & jacuzzi & sofa set outside. . Stunning suite. Hot water in the shower , huge Bluetooth speaker , robes , beach towels.
Since the suite is directly over the restaurant , we found 2 roaches in our shower area & one in the outdoor jacuzzi. On our first day , the bed sheet was stained & I found a hair so I don't think it was a clean sheet.
The hotel has a taxi service that will pick you up at the airport & take you back. I recommend arranging that before you leave home. It's pricey but worth your safety. All in all , I'd definitely return but maybe stay in a different suite not so close to the restaurant.

Female solo traveller. I stayed 2 nights. I was there for the beautiful sand and water. I felt safe for the whole stay. Food and drink was acceptable. Nice and quiet at night. A friend stayed 10 minutes south from Coco Unlimited and she complained about the loud music at night. Overall, very happy with my stay. Would come again and recommend to friends and family.

Oceanfront room was EVERYTHING! Sitting on the veranda in the mornings and evenings listening to the ocean was blissful. The pool was cool but not cold and the waterfall made the whole experience more refreshing. Lovely beach, clean rooms, friendly staff. Restaurant service was a bit slow but very friendly and accommodating. Food was good—highly recommend the Caribbean Salad. Ask for low salt—chicken was VERY salty but I noticed this everywhere in Tulum.

Loved my stay however music was a bit too loud and seemed to be toward a younger crowd. I’m in my 50’s and looked like most people there were not there to party. Enjoyed food there but the music made the experience not as enjoyable. Also they have speakers near the pool which is loud if you wanted to nap in your room. They will turn it off at the pool if you ask.

Bring clothes for morning yoga. That was the best surprise. The pool was used in morning for scuba lessons if you're interested. Very good teacher. There's a shared kitchen so you can make your own meals but don't miss out on local exotic cuisine!

It’s my 3rd time in Tulum , I’m am so disappointed with the service from the stuff although the property was beautiful and clean stayed in room #2 but the stuff and the lady manager was horrible , didn’t want to give me glass cups had to pay for hot water in the evening, not nice feeling of doing me a favour I brought 11 people to this hotel to stay as a girls trip and was terribly disappointed by the service of the place

We absolutely loved our five night stay at Coco Unlimited. This resort is perfect for those who want a stay directly on the beach with a restaurant that has good food and drinks. It’s a low-key vibe, but a short walk down the road brings you to higher energy places if you want to mix it up. The included breakfast was good every morning which came with an entree, toast plate and coffee/juice.

The beach and ocean view were stunning. Half the trip there was seaweed, but then the winds changed and the beaches were pristine. Plenty of day beds and seating. The pool was also clean and very relaxing. Every employee was helpful and kind.

We rented a car and drove from Cancun. There was free parking and we never had an issue. Our room had a sea view and was close to the pool. We couldn’t have asked for a better room. They refill your water jug daily and clean the room when you hang up the sign. Not to mention hot water for the shower and good water pressure. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We loved it!

The staff was fantastic. The restaurant was great with terrific service and good food. The beach club uncrowded. The location on the beach perfect. The mattress do as ones to be changed and the pillows upgraded. Since most beds in the area use concrete frames a good mattress and better pillows are essential for gu it’s comfort. Other than that I highly recommend.

After arriving to this hotel i realized quickly it looked nothing at all like the pictures. The water in the bathroom sinks and shower wete salty and felt like ice water . The rooms were not in great condition.They also do not provide guests with water bottles at all they provide a container of water to each room which I'm not sure it's safe to drink . The clean towels provided daily had stains and at check out we were charged for makeup on a towel and when i asked why i was being charged for this the explanation was they do not have their towels deep cleaned The breakfast took a very long time to get it and the QR code for the menu in the room never worked and kept giving an error. The taxi service used are not consistent with their pricing and tried to charged full price for canceling which was due to flight cancelation from the weather. Even though they would need to pick us up later and charged us a different price. I would never stay here again or recommend this place which is unfortunate because the staff was amazing and nice. These issues stem from hotel management.

This place is beautiful and the food was delicious. The staff is so kind and helpful. My only complaint is we never had the cleaning lady come in so we ran out of toilet paper and our trash was over flowing. But it was so easy to overlook with how nice everything else.

My husband and I just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with CoCo Unlimited. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite March 2nd - March 9th. Our stay was absolutely incredible! The staff was very attentive and super friendly! Our room was very clean and inviting. The property was beautiful & very peaceful. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel. We walked to dinner each evening and really enjoyed the proximity of the resort to shops and local hot spots. We look forward to returning next March. Thanks for a lovely vacation! 5 stars 🏝️✈️❤️

The staff here are all wonderful and welcoming. They work very hard to make sure.your stay is comfortable.
Our room was nice except for the gap in the sliding door. We found a few big beetles in the room as well as a small gecko. None of this ruined our stay but I feel this door should be replaced as most of the other doors have been.
The food was excellent and drinks were nice as well. It was our first time at a non all inclusive so the daily money spending was something to get used to.
There are stores and restaurants within walking distance so we visited those as well.
The pool and grounds were well kept and there were plenty of seats and beach lounges on the beach.
We would stay again but maybe a shorter stay snd move throughout Tulum.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Coco Unlimited. It was our first time in Tulum without the kids, and the experience was great. The breakfast, pool, and proximity to the beach were excellent.
A special thank you to David, the beach bar manager, who was fantastic and always accommodating. Since my wife had a fractured foot, the staff was incredibly helpful whenever we needed ice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coco Unlimited. The staff was outstanding - friendly, helpful, attentive to every issue. We had read some less than complimentary reviews but had no issues whatsoever. The room was spacious, super clean, king bed was comfortable, there were lots of comfy pillows. The free breakfast was better than expected - made to order, a nice portion, good choices, tasty. One thing: don't expect a shiny glass tower - this place is rustic beach vibe, thatch roof, concrete floors. It is very well maintained. Security is tight, they will park and guard your car. We plan to return in the future.

I stay all over Tulum, but Coco has a piece of my heart. It’s right in the middle of the beach which is nice you can walk forever on the sand and reach multiple beach front properties. It’s very clean, the rooms are kinda insane for the price, like I had an our door private hot tub and I didn’t even know it came with the room. The restaurant has phenomenal food and the staff is so lovely. Also, it’s rather quiet and I sleep like a baby here.

The staff at the front desk upon check in were lovely. During our stay, Betty was amazing. She was always sooo friendly and kind. She was eager to help in any way (my Garmin watch needed charging a couple of times durong our stay and she was eager to help out).
Rooms were cleaned daily if required. Food was very good, pricey though. Breakfast was included but it was just ok.
Mixed Drinks were crazy expensive - not many drank by us. Beer was ok priced.
Lots of sargassum at the beach, and they only cleaned it up when there was an event planned from outside the hotel. Beach and amenities were lovely though. Just prepare - you can not flush TP anywhere in tulum. It must be deposited in the garbage cans.

This is a lovely boutique size hotel on an amazing beach. The rooms are bungalow style and seem to have been updated in terms of beds/bedding/fixtures. So nice. The location right on the beach is special. The small size means there was never an issue with loungers or places to hang out. The staff are a highlight. So friendly and helpful. Several restaurants and shops are right outside. Walk for miles on the sandy beach.

Staff was pleasant and nice always greeting us in passing. I was disappointed that I mentioned in my booking and in whatsapp mag with coco that I was celebrating my birthday and nothing a little special was done. The included breakfast, daily our potatoes were cold and the refried beans as well. I travel on my birthday regularly and always received a little something to say happy birthday thanks for spending your birthday at our place.

The hotel was cute and quaint and for the price the location was wonderful. We had a room overlooking the ocean. You can easily walk to all the places on the hotel zone Street, but most of all the staff made it feel really welcoming and like home. I had to stay an extra day due to my flight and they held the last room for me and gave it at the same price even though it was a fancier room. There was many things to choose from at breakfast and it was very good. They also had very good food, including the ceviche and the Mezcalito’s. I would stay here again because I felt like the Location the breakfast included and everything was a really good price the front staff was amazing and quite honestly, I didn’t want to leave.

Coco Unlimited is so sweet and I am so happy I chose it for my first trip to Tulum. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s unbelievable how kind they all are. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy, comfortable, and enjoying your stay. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the grounds and cleaning staff.

The restaurant is delicious. The view and access to the sea is great. The rooms are super pretty. The pool area is awesome- love the waterfall feature. It’s simply a perfect vacay experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel over all the pumped up hotels on the Playa. The vibe here is super cool and mellow and human scale. Very different from what is up the road. Coco is your Tulum if you want a pretty, yummy, kind, happy, chill experience.

Nous avions la chambre 14 qui est un peu séparé des autres cabanes. Le niveau d’humidité était excessivement élevé dans la chambre. À côté de l’hôtel il y a un espace abandonné dans lequel se trouve des chiens et ces derniers ont aboyés toute la nuit. Lorsque nous avons demandé à la réception s’il était possible de changer de chambre ils ne nous sont pas revenus. Par contre, le personnel était très gentil. Le petit dej était très bon et la plage magnifique.

Staff was generally very friendly. They could have had one more server working the beach club as service was a bit slow and poor Agus had too much going on.

Property well maintained and pretty. Of course its Mexico and at the beach so you have to have realistic expectations, fixtures will have corrosion etc.

Hotel charges a very high amount to replace any cloth pieces, so be careful with your wine.

Otherwise no notes, would return.

My husband had a surgery before our trip and one his stitches leaked watery blood on the sheets and they asked us to pay 540 US dollars for the damage. Be careful signing the contract they have ranges of penalties which was 180 US dollars for sheet but they wanted to collect 540 US dollars which is 3 times more. Never had this experience in any hotel.

Room that ibwas assigned was not the same as described online. They claim it is in the same category, but i disagree. I confirmed with their staff before arriving which room i would get on WhatsApp. Despite the assurance i would not get the inferior room, that is exactly the room they gave me.

The managers rectified the situation with an upgrade to a superior room on the last day and a bottle of wine. The wine never arrived despite reminding them of it a couple of times.

Quality of the beach furniture was quite poor. Stains and torn and broken.

We want to especially point out the tremendously good service from people like Edith and Cris who did so much to make our trip enjoyable for three days. For the money you can't beat it as an enjoyable location for Tulum beach moment

Front desk are very goodi I love my housekeeper Christina, Emeldo from engineering is very good and funny, The girls who mainly work breakfast are very kind, they could use some help with getting the food to tables before it gets cold…the changes happening while i was there are perfect , wish they would have happened sooner. I love how quiet it is there and the suites .

The room had signs of wear. There were rips in the screen in the bathroom and a strong smell from the pipes in the bathroom at night likely from plumbing. Resort is starting to show its age

Place was clean but dated. Thatched roofs missing grass, mold on the rafters, mold on the beach loungers and chairs. Lots of ants. Bed was very firm. Breakfast was really good. Decent menu and included in the price. Beach location was amazing! I’d like to see more towels, some hand towels in the rooms. There was also no mini fridge. That would’ve been amazing to have. Our friends at the other resorts all had them.

This place looks like what your dreaming about when you picture a beach front cabana in Tulum. Its Simple. Drinks were Beautiful the Mezcal Flower was a wonderful cocktail. The Breakfast was traditional and more than ample. I loved the Beach Zone Cabana I was in. Waking Up with a view of the ocean and a hammock on your porch with a bar 100ft from your door and the ocean 100 feet from that is.. Perfect.
