This hotel is a jungle paradise on the beach! The rooms are so beautifully designed, clean, and natural feeling. We stayed in a standard room on the second level and our bathroom had a skylight! We were treated so kindly by Steph, who made our stay 10x more special. She was helpful at every turn and deserves all the praise!

Where do we even begin? The staff was incredible, food amazing, rooms amazing. Unforgettable experience at the beach club soaking up the sun all day and into the evening. 5 stars. Shout out to Edguardo, rodrigo, Jonathan, topa, manuel, (Chile I'll call her), and ALL STAFF. Security was on point. Heaven on earth! We will return next year

Lost my wallet in the middle of the night with about 200 people around and it was turned into security with nothing missing. I can’t say enough good things about the experience. The worst part of this trip was having to leave. We will definitely be coming back.

I do have to say, they send out a note that it’s a loud location and there will be noise. Unfortunately, I underestimated it because the noise from all of the restaurants, hotels around was insane. Till 2am we had a sound party in our room every night. But we still had such a good time, even the noise didn’t ruin our stay, we just stayed up longer and slept in the morning.
Note to the staff, please fix a hole in the roof as it was dripping when it rained and got onto our clothes and suitcase.

Our stay at Delek was perfect from start to finish. The hotel knew straight away we were in Tulum to celebrate my birthday and went above and beyond to accommodate and celebrate us. We were offered a free room upgrade which was so fabulous however both rooms were equally beautiful and spotless and had the true Tulum feel. The restaurant/beach staff couldn’t have been nicer. The food and drinks were excellent and access to all big clubs/restaurants was so easy, it really is the perfect location. We can’t wait to come back

I did hours of research wanting something chill, safe, beachfront, and actually giving jungle vibes. Delek nailed it. A few days before our trip they emailed saying the pool would be closed, so yes, I pulled a small Karen and asked for a discount. They offered breakfast and restaurant credit which we took!
When we arrived, we instantly forgot about the pool. The staff is unbelievably kind.. welcome drinks, a full tour, and the whole property is gorgeous. It’s right in the hotel zone but surprisingly quiet. People in other reviews acting like the beach club bass kept them up must have superhuman hearing, because we slept like babies.
Our room was spotless, cozy, and had a partial ocean view. Beach club seating is guaranteed for guests (huge win). The pool actually reopened halfway through our stay, but honestly we barely used it because the ocean was warm, clear, and perfect.

When we arrived, we instantly forgot about the pool. The staff is unbelievably kind.. welcome drinks, a full tour, and the whole property is gorgeous. It’s right in the hotel zone but surprisingly quiet. People in other reviews acting like the beach club bass kept them up must have superhuman hearing, because we slept like babies.
Our room was spotless, cozy, and had a partial ocean view. Beach club seating is guaranteed for guests (huge win). The pool actually reopened halfway through our stay, but honestly we barely used it because the ocean was warm, clear, and perfect.

Tulum - the chilled out option
Had an amazing week at Delek, the hotel, staff and overall experience was just what we needed. Right on the beach with a much needed pool to lounge in when the sun got too much. Beach front hotels in Tulum are not cheap and Delek is no exception but you get what you pay for. 5 star location and service. Rooms are tastefully designed and serviced an maintained to a great standard. Great beds and linens. Rooms to the rear suffer from street noise from the surrounding clubs (which they warn you about) but those beach facing ones have no such issues. Many of the other hotels have beachclubs aimed at the party all day crowd whereas Delek is more chilled Ibiza vibe. Usually some entertainment in the late afternoon; live music sets; or a dj; but again all geared to keep the vibe relaxed. Restaurant providing high end takes on Mexican classics; seafood, tacos, cerviches, and more mainstream standards. Good cocktails and chilled beers... they also take their eco responsibilities seriously unlike others who seem to pay lip service to them. While we were there we wandered into one of two other similar hotels for breakfast; drinks etc for a nosey; but left convinced that Delek overall provided the best balance of style, comfort, service and relaxation that we wanted.

Rooms are very nice, however the service is awful. Paid $900/night during peak holiday season and it took over 40min to get a sparkling water from the beach club. They prioritize the patrons off the beach over the guests of the hotel. Hotel is in a great location close to everything. Hotel is extremely over priced for what it offers. Out of all the hotels I have stayed at during my 2 week trip in Tulum, I would not recommend this one unless you are here just for the location.

The ocean view master suite was amazing. Could walk 20 ft to the beach and fall asleep to the sound of waves every night. Staff was very attentive, responded to WhatsApp messages immediately and took care of everything we needed, including atv rental.

My husband and I didn’t hear any noise which was one of the biggest concern from other reviews. We stayed in room 1 and it was absolutely perfect! Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

The Delek is still absolutely the best place to stay. Now they have upgraded an area with live music and the restaurant menu is wider with really great food. The beach was clean considering it is sea weed season. Yes, you can hear the music but this is from other establishments across the street. I brought earplugs and had no problem falling asleep. The room is nice. I would recommend this hotel.

The pictures and website make it seem like this is a quiet beach paradise when it is the opposite. The hotel is located in the middle of FOUR beach clubs/night clubs with music blasting from the early afternoon hours until 4:30, 5 AM. The hotel was transparent with us and did send us a message after we booked informing us about the noise and allowing us to cancel our reservation if we wanted. Being from New York, we are used to noise and even packed our own earplugs and noise canceller. But “noisy” in the email was really sugar-coating the truth because the truth is that our room actually SHOOK from the bass of these clubs until 4:30, 5 AM. Noisy we could deal with, a shaking bed we could not. If the hotel had disclosed just how bad it would be at the time of booking instead of making it seem not too terrible, we would have upgraded our room to be further away in a better location on the property, but by the time we realized it was too late after our first night of trying to sleep and the property had no other available rooms. And then just when we had gotten to bed at 5 AM, construction of some sort would start on the wall opposite our room at 8 AM. There are also vendors bothering you nonstop on the beach all day when you go there to try to relax.
The rooms are very beautifully done and the staff does a great job cleaning them and keeping the beach clean of seaweed. I would just not book unless you plan to be out until 4 AM every night.

I think the property is lovely. The first room I had though was close to the road and the noise from the restaurants and clubs was awful. The downfall of this property is that is is right in the middle of the night life and you can hear the music until the late hours of the night. The staff were ok but not exceptional. They make their property available to the locals which at first I thought was lovely but then realized it lessoned the exclusivity of the property. It was jam packed not so much with locals but tourists who wanted to hang out at a nice property. The food was very high priced for what you got and the drinks were way too expensive. There was no breakfast included which I found a shame for the high cost of the rooms. If you wanted a good cup of coffee to had to pay for a latte. I had hoped for my of a zen experience similar to the nomad, but there wasn't much offered. I would have loved to see more local artists perform rather than a D.J

Nothing was available to eat till after 8 AM. There was no coffee machine in the room. There was no bar fridge to keep anything cold. There was one small area to eat. There was a very small pool, but the bar was seldom open the floors in the room and the bathroom were extremely slippery when wet, and with the high humidity, they seem damp most of the time. Just a couple of things about Tulum. It’s extremely windy. It feels like there’s a constant windstorm day and night. The beach is beautiful but the wind is relentless. We had booked it for a month and we’re so unhappy , we tried to move out however there’s no refunds so we ended up walking away from over $10,000 and ended up giving it to my brother to visit. The staff was most accommodating and very friendly and helped out as much as they possibly could but they just didn’t have , what it takes to make this into a three star

Fully enjoyed my recent stay at the Delek hotel. The hotel property is beautiful and all the staff was incredible. Each person we interacted with was so helpful and friendly. Delek does a great job making guests feel relaxed and taken care of. There are plenty of activity offerings at the property (I loved experiencing the Sunday Temazcal) and we enjoyed the morning coffee service brought to the room each day. The beach cabanas were awesome and drink/food service was great! Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay at Delek again.

Overall my stay was pretty enjoyable. I really like the spacious room and ocean view. And the service was always attentive and nice. My only complaint is about the water. The first day the water tasted really salty while brushing my teeth. And on my second day the water started to have a very strong bleach smell which is even worse. I also stayed at another hotel this time in Tulum and didn’t encounter such problem. So I think the problem is just with Delek.

Oh wow! Where do I start. First of all I never do these reviews but I had to for this place. IT IS PERFECTION! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with the most amazing hospitality. Welcome drinks and a surprise birthday cake as it was my birthday. The property is beautiful and every single employee is eager to help. The rooms are beautiful and remind me of a bungalow. I read on one review a complaint about hot water but our water was HOT HOT. And while we did stay out and enjoy Tulum until pretty late (come on we are on vacation) we never had any problems going to sleep because of noise. (another complaint I read). You are close enough to all the party life but far enough away if you don’t enjoy that life. The food and drinks on site are amazing, we ate there several times a day. Ohhhh and waking up to coffee and pastries on your front porch was just icing on an already perfect cake!!! If you’re questioning where to book (as I was) book here. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I’m already planning our next trip.

The property location is amazing. In the middle of everything. The rooms are rustic so don't expect a 5 star room but it's just different. Not your traditional room but it's the best for that type. People complain about no hot water in other reviews but u really don't need hot water as the water in warm naturally. If you leave the water on for a long while u get hot water. That's normal. The one thing that might bother other people is the loud music from the bars near by. For me it was not a problem because I'm heavy sleeper. For your information the music stay late on Friday and Saturday but other days it's not an issue. I would stay there again. There beach is nice and clean but a bit wavy. Staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help.

This property was absolutely enchanting. The attention to detail in design and decor was evident. I truly appreciated the comfort of the furnishings and the property's cleanliness. As a solo traveler, safety is always a concern. There was never a moment when my safety was in question. The staff was amazing however, the jewel to the crown was definitely Fernando. Fernando greeted me at the entrance and was the epitome of professionalism and hospitality throughout my stay. I experienced a minor medical emergency and his rapid response was extraordinary. Great Staff and Amenities but Beware the Noise
The staff are great and the hotel has a lot of amenities to really enhance your stay. However the noise from other hotels / clubs is a real issue. The hotel is very upfront about this and provides ear plugs. Nevertheless the ear plugs do very little against the bass which you can feel. I had noise cancelling earphones which also struggled to mask the bass. This made sleeping very difficult as the noise continued until 4am. Its really such a shame becuase the hotel and staff are really lovely but the noise issue would stop me from returning.

Primera vez en Tulum y definitivamente no será la última. Atención de primera, tengo que aceptar que quede sin palabra Delek es todo lo que esperaba. Mi habitación era hermosa, se los recomiendo. No se dejen por los comentarios negativos, es un lugar con mucha paz, céntrico, tienen todo lo que necesitan a menos de 2 minutos caminando. Y la música que supuestamente dicen que se escucha dentro de los cuartos, es algo normal, no te va afectar para nada tú sueño ni tú tranquilidad en tu estadía.

You must desire a party scene and noisy clubs to stay here or anywhere in this beach area now in Tulum. We didn't see \"party zone\" upon booking and we got a notification 1 day before arrival about the expected noise and was told we could cancel, but by then we didn't have another place to go. Other guests we talked to were leaving due to the excessive noise. We read reviews online and a few mentioned the noise, but not enough people and it is not on/off- it's every single night- music blaring 2 doors down until 2am and then on the main street as well, where clubs and restaurants are playing their music loudly, to compete for business I guess.
Despite the noise, the actual hotel is beautiful with great lounge chairs and good service for amazing food and tasty (low alcohol) drinks. The beach scene in the morning and early afternoon is still relaxing and visually appealing. The ocean is the draw of course, and it's special.

First night was hell and the second night was blissful. We arrived and were given room 20 at the top of a thatched building. First impressions were favorable — very clean and beautiful layout. I asked about the road construction noise and was assured it would stop at night. Not the best location near the road but we thought it would be fine. We had a lovely day on the beach, ordering the fantastic food there. When we returned to sleep around 10:30, it sounded like we were in the middle of the nightclub next door. Somehow the thatched roof seemed to amplify the sound of the nightclub newly built next door. We thought it would be fine as surely it would stop around 11. It didn’t. Only around 1 am did the night club turn down the volume a little; there was less bass than previously (I brought ear plugs which don’t help much with deep bass). The nightmare didn’t stop there however. Once the night club music stopped around 3am, the road construction kicked in. I’m fine with a bit of regular white noise but this can only be described as someone running up and down the road with a chainsaw outside. The sound was erratic, irregular and different rhythms. We had plans to do yoga in the morning and visit several places on the rented moped. Needless to say these plans had to be canceled and I was blurry eyed when I spoke to the unsympathetic receptionist at 7am telling her we were going to forego the next night and check out that day. She said that no other rooms were available
