Small kitchen but excellent for short stays , nothing fancy but perfrct for short terms stays.
rhonda
This little hotel was perfect for our little family. It was cozy, comfortable, clean, quiet and in a safe neighborhood. The restaurants were close by, the staff was extremely friendly and so very helpful. The staff showed how and when to take the bus then to connect to the subway to get to the city center. If we happen to go back to Toronto anytime soon, we are definitely staying here again. Lovely place!
RALPH
Average hotel , its disappointing part was no available staff was there to accommodate me late night since it was an emergency , rang the bell for 2 hrs . so i left and never got atleast some amount of my money from un used room .
Stacie
We were greeted by a lovely friendly customer staff person upon our arrival. Very helpful polite and welcoming. We saw her a few times. Other staff were the same. We will definitely stay here again next visit to Toronto. This is a hidden gem. Thank you and see you again soon.
Janna
Small and quiet. Boutique-like. Comfortable beds
Elham
We were very disappointed with our stay. We paid a high price, and we were told that the hotel was fully prepared to welcome World Cup visitors. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that at all.
One example was the towels provided in our room. They were old, badly worn, and torn into several places. We even took photos as evidence. This is not acceptable and is certainly not the standard guests should expect, especially considering the amount we paid.
Please make sure your linens and room amenities are clean, well-maintained, and replaced when they become worn out. Guests should never be given torn towels. Small details like this have a big impact on the overall guest experience.

Oldish hotel, friendly staff, well located, but VERY noisy as it is very poorly insulated for the sound/noise. It felt like there was a bowling alley on the second floor.
Monique
I enjoyed staying here as it was so close with the transpo and staff are all nice
Brandon
Was clean and tidy. Nothing too fancy but was fine for a quick stay where you are just sleeping there
Greg
It is a small, cozy hotel. Quiet and stylish.
Daniel
Lovely little hotel. Good location. Close to TTC.
Vicky
The only complaint I had was the parking. Everything else was great, clean rooms and excellent staff.
Alberto
This hotel is not worth the price the online photos are very deceptive nothing compared to photos looks like a 40.00 hotel and my room was very outdated so disappointing I paid over $200.00 for on night and not worth it.
Cristina
Very very clean, room had a sitting kitchen with a coffee machine and a fridge. The furniture and carpet were dated , but renovation effort was visible in the bathroom. No elevator, however staff offered to help with the luggage. Air conditioner was super loud, it made it difficult to sleep. All in all a good place, but a bit pricey.
Natasha
Great staff
Tyler
Great spot. Easy to find. Good parking.
Chloe
Very clean room, air conditioning, welcoming and friendly staff
William
Parking is not the greatest. We were with another couple and both drove trucks and the parking doesn’t really accommodate trucks
Wing
Easy access to public transportation
Melanie
It was a nice, quiet neighborhood, we fell very safe. Very nice rooms.
Melanie
Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and parking was supplied.
Claudine
Le service était très bien et c’était propre. Cependant ça aurait besoin de rénovations. Mais on n’a manqué de rien et pour une nuit ça allait.
Brent
During our first night we couldn’t get normal television going in order to watch the playoff hockey game. Staff wasn’t able to help. When we got back on our second night there was no parking when we returned to the hotel at 11pm, and staff had us park in a no parking zone as the only alternative for the night. Fortunate our new car wasn’t hit and we didn’t have a ticket…
Alex The Thanh
The location is perfect.
Molly
The hotel was okay for a quick overnight stay, but we were disappointed given the price. We had five guests in our suite, and the toilet wasn't flushing properly during our stay. We reported the issue to the front desk, but it was never resolved.
The room included a Keurig coffee maker, but there were no mugs or to-go cups available. The kitchenette cupboards were completely empty, which made the setup feel incomplete. We also noticed holes in the bathroom wall that detracted from the overall condition of the room.
While it served its purpose as a place to sleep for the night, we expected more for what we paid and likely would not choose to stay here again.

Thank you for the wonderful experience. All the staff were amazing—anyone looking for a reasonable hotel. Come and check them out. You won't regret it.
doris
Hotel feels like you are staying in a basement of a house.
Liz
The only thing wrong was the mattress on the pull out. It was very old thin and uncomfortable. The king bed and staff were awesome. Free parking was nice too!
Amanual
Nice and cool area
Chantel
Staff was very helpful and got me checked in quickly! The hotel was clean, spacious and in a nice quiet area. I’d definitely stay again.
Laurie
Clean , big room with separate sitting area and little kitchenette. Two TV's. Free parking . Friendly staff !
Emma
it was great
Judith
Great location. Staff always friendly and helpful. Always happy with my stay.
Leanne
This two-storey apartment hotel was clean, comfortable bed, nice linens and towels, high ceilings. It is located in a quiet residential area, easy access from Sheppard Ave E. I had a Queen with kitchenette unit - very spacious living, workspace and eating area. The bedroom had adequate space, an armoire for clothes, a safe. There was a TV in both the living area and the bedroom. I did not use them, though. The bathroom was updated and clean. Smallish counter but large cupboard under the sink. I'm not sure if there is elevator access to the second floor but the staircase is wide and well-lit. This property is in a very good location for access to North York/ Don Mills. Parking is on the side of the building. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Good value.
Katie
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and comfortable.
craig
Staff was courteous
Richard
Clean room, quiet, excellent service.
Andrew
Great value in GTA, stayed a couple times now, not luxury but very comfortable and a quiet hotel with parking included. Good location close to many convenient restaurants and shops which are all walkable. Check I had always been a breeze.
Pamela
Friendly helpful staff
Tricia
Excellent customer service and quality room space.
Frank
Clean room. Quiet.
Jeffrey
It was a room. The staff were nice enough and brought items that were not in the room. But the extra sheets for the pull out bed were ripped and there was no full length mirror. The staff said there were no mirrors for safety reasons. I stay in many hotels - this was a first.
Tal
Ants in the room, shower broken, disgusting place. You feet get stick to the floor because it’s so filthy
Lisa
My initial review stated quiet and cleanliness as our first impression. We booked 2 nights to visit Sunnybrook and unfortunatley both evenings had a bad experience with loud neighbours both evenings, not very soundproof at all. Checked out at midnight the second night and slept in our vehicle at Sunnybrook Hospital. The staff was very nice
Adrian Gabriel
The AC was amazing! Just remember to buy ice if you will stay there but they do have fridges. And nice staff
Sheila
My room was as pictured on the website, with desk and kitchenette, dishes and coffee supplied. The bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent, close to restaurants and frequent bus service on Sheppard Avenue. Staff were friendly and helpful.
There was a heating problem on 2 different nights of my stay. It became much too hot in the 2nd floor hallway and in my room, after 10:00 p.m. The thermostat read 26' Celsius, although it was set to maximum 22', and it took over 3 hours running on cool to reach the desired sleeping temperature.
Other nights were fine.

Staff were wonderful but rooms where so rusty.. Rust on the vent and ceiling. Furnitures were so old and filthy. They also dont have proper scanner to scan visa and DL. Manually scanned DL. Hope they can make it better.
Shaoying
all the staffs are very nice and friendly
georges
the room temperature was not working and i was freezing at night
Incheol
The staff were friendly. The room was spacious. Shopping around the hotel was good.
Philippe
Courteous front desk staff
Douglas
Lose the pillows. The floor above Room 101 squeaks when someone moves. Staff were fine.
Laine
Our room was very clean however it was very hot. The room did not have a thermostat or any good ventilation. There was no air conditioning so we had a very uncomfortable stay. We stayed in October so I can’t imagine staying in the Summer. The windows also only opened a small crack so they were not helping with the air flow.
Ian
Excellent hotel close to the Subway. Friendly and efficient desk staff. Clean and good sized rooms.
Leslie
Everything was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the staff, Kush, was very helpful and friendly
Luis
Nice hotel, no elevator to second floor, so can be a loan if you have heavy luggage. I stay here at times cause it's close to office in North York but still off the beaten path so a trek to get to the core if you're walking
Nikita
The guy working at reception was great, room was clean and a decent size and a decent price. Quite far from downtown but not a big deal if you know your way around transit. I’ll return in the future.
Small bathroom but not a big deal either.

good kitchen setup with all necessary utensils provided.
BASIL
Showers need hand rails for safety
Jane
The location of the hotel is convenient. It's surrounded with shopping malls and dining places. The only thing I didn't like was the noise that came from the bathroom after flashing the toilet 😓. I liked the place and I would go back again.
Fay
Would like more comfortable chairs or seats
Sung Il
No command, just quite area….
Simon
Nice room. Clean and well equipped.
Agnes Enrico
Room was spotless, bathroom a little tight. No microwave but had a small fridge. The soaps and shampoo and lotion were very small. Perhaps an update with wall dispensers could be done. No full length mirror no makeup mirror. Quiet safe neighborhood. Hallway looked tired, perhaps that area can be updated and it would look better. Not sound proofed.
Jane
We had a wonderful stay. TTC a few steps away. Kitchenette was ideal. Separate bedroom area. Staff was very accommodating in providing extra pillows, extra water bottles and coffee pods.
We will definitely stay here again!
We will definitely stay here again!

Clean room but could use some updating.

MISREPRESENTED PROPERTY
MISREPRESENTED as a one story- no elevator - two stories- had to carry our stuff up TWO flights- Says premium cable TV but NO CABLE NO live stations at all!!! Roku TV old programs only. No hair dryer. Nothing to hold onto in tub- safety hazard! No closet. Dirty carpet. Makeshift hotel - owner/family seem to live there in first floor.
morganne
Loved staying a week here ! Staff is lovely and attentive- lots to do in the area and easy access to transportation :) Will be back !
Roxanne
When you walk in you can smell the clean from the Pinsol The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and efficient Foyer is bright and clean The room was ok Felt a bit like an “abc” motel walls are super thin and whoever was sleeping in room above us was moving furniture all night But the room was clean and the bed was comfortable and clean
Quick walk to where we needed to go so it worked out

Well located and in a quiet neighborhood.

Room was very spacious and staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Coffee, water and toiletries were replenished daily and never ran out. Wi-Fi was reliable and public transportation was a breeze! I would definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend.
Zachary
Lovely stay
Staff was kind and helpful, room was very clean. Loved the bed and AC was super effective 😁

Good place to stay
Clean, modestly appointed hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Room rate seems a little high given the facility, but thats probably what it takes to run a small hotel in a nice neighbourhood in Toronto.
Ryan
The hotel and staff were great. Easy and comfortable. Small hotel but absolutely amazing. Quick to respond to requests and so pleasant to speak with
Charbel
Extremely clean and comfortable room
David
Good location for what we needed it for, but nothing too much around the actual hotel. Room was great and staff were amazing

Not coming back
Danny
Was very good for its value.
Was about a 15 min walk to a decent bar which is good for us.

Steve
Good accomodations for a family or larger group. Although updates have been made and everything is clean, the room felt somewhat dated, for example some worn furniture and the bathroom needs updates. All in all, great locations, friendly staff, in a quiet and safe area, Competitive price for toronto given the size of the room and number of beds.
Amanda
Only a short walk to the subway station, staff were quite friendly and welcoming

Great place

Checkin was very easy and staff were great

Check in was seamless and the desk attendant brought our bags upstairs.
The suite we were in was lovely and very clean.

It was ok, no extra bedding even for the pull out sofa. Mattress on pull out was very worn and unsuitable to sleep on even if there was bedding. Basic accommodation.
Natacha
Lovely quiet and very clean. Staff are kind and helpful.

Perfect
Patrick
Everything was nice, except the space for parking
Sue
Not so good
Karen
A very pleasant and clean hotel. Convenient parking. Close to all amenities. Beautifully appointed art work and cozy sitting area separated from the bedroom. Very comfortable bed. Would have really appreciated an ice machine. Fully functioning Keurig machine with cups, plates and utensils available and a microwave. Overall, a pleasant stay
Jeremy
The stay was average at best. ALL the linens (bedding and towels), smelled like someone threw up on them. It was a very rancid smell. I had to spray product on the pillow just to sleep. The parking was very limited as this is at the front of a residential neighborhood. I was asked to move my vehicle up as far as I could so I didn't go over the sidewalk. The other 2 vehicles were allowed to hang out over the sidewalk to almost the street. There is free internet which was good but I don't want to have to use my entertainment subscriptions to watch TV programs. There was limited items I like to watch on Roku. The walls are paper thin and the family with the screaming children next to me didn't go to bed until well after midnight. There was no breakfast provided so if that is something you like, you wont find it here. I asked for a receipt to be emailed to me and as of a week later, I still don't have it for expense purposes. I personally will not use this facility again.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The only thing that was a bit disturbing was the bathroom ventilation fan — it was quite loud. One suggestion that could make the rooms even better is to include a toaster in the kitchen area. That would be a great addition!

This property is small so it feels pirvate. The room was nice but two cahirs instead of a couch was a let down. There is no elevator access so it is not friendly for those requiring altnernative options to stairs. Overall... easy stay, nice safe, small parking area.

Just a terrible room. Ratty furniture. AC blowing in my face all night sound like a jet plane. Had no temp control in my room. No soap dish or shelf in the shower. TV screen glowed ALL NIGHT despite being turned off. Felt like I was staying in a badly renovated janitorial closet. Room was next to the exit door that woke me up every time it slammed shut. If I hadn’t got in so late at night I would have left. $200 for this? Awful.

The property appears to have limited parking for the number of available rooms. This was not immediately apparent from the online listing. Some of the room fixtures are in need of minor renovation.

Worked very well for 3 couples and a 1 night stay

Please prepare the room accordingly to the number of guests staying. The pull out couch was not ready with dirty sheets and the room did not have a blanket for it. Had to call and wait and it was late

Easy stay
Though we only stayed one night, our stay was really nice. The room was spacious and had a lot of helpful amenities. The free parking was helpful, but its not gated or anything. They had a sign in the room offering often forgotten travel items like toothbrushes and toothpaste as a courtesy as well which is super nice. Only thing I was confused about was a random drain stopper sitting on the sink? Other than that: a great stay.
