Room was spacious and comfortable. Pool and complementary breakfast were nice conveniences for our family.
Ricardo
All good with our room, no issues at all!
Donny
Not sure if it was just my room, but when taking a shower, I have to keep adjusting the shower temperature knob left and right since at times when taking a shower, the water would become too cold and sometimes it would become too hot. Cannot seem to get a stable water temperature when taking a shower.
Jacques
Property is tired and hotel couldn’t find my reservation
Kung-Kim
Just outside City of Toronto. Very convenient from the roads but not much public transport nearby. Good sized sitting room and bedroom and large shower and walk in closet. All amenities work including a fridge-freezer and dishwasher. Fifteen minutes walk to mall with two supermarkets and plenty of Hong Kong style Chinese and Western restaurants and a Costco. Good air conditioning a must for summer. Shower power a bit low. Very helpful staff and smiling greetings every time everywhere. Small pool and gym there. Simple adequate breakfasts. Apparently can arrange a barbeque in the small garden. Good place to stay with a car.
Brian
We stayed as a stop on a longer drive, but picked it for the pool (2 young kids). Pool had long hours, was warm and clean. Workout room right next door too. Solid breakfast included. Room was very clean, newer, and spacious.
Jane
Lovely hotel with excellent breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed one night here in a 2 bedroom suite. It accommodated us well. The hotel was great and very clean. The pool was wonderful and warm enough for my 9 month old niece to enjoy. The continental breakfast had great options. BUT there was a kids sports team staying there which ruined our stay. The kids took over the hotel while the parents sat in the lobby not paying attention to them. Although there are signs posted in the gym that anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, these kids took over the gym making it unusable. They left towels and garbage all over the pool area. Although the court yard hours were until 10pm, they were out there well past that time making excessive noise that you could hear very clearly, even on the 5th floor with the windows closed. There were kids running up and down the hallways and stairs ways all evening, despite speaking to them 3 times asking them to stop and go back to their rooms. By 11:30 pm I called down to the front desk to complain as it kept waking up my niece and they said they would send someone up to deal with it. I never saw anyone come up. They were back at it yelling in the court yard at 6 am. The hotel overall was great, however the sports team made our stay beyond non enjoyable. From seeing other reviews (after our stay) for this hotel, this seems to be the norm here. If you enjoy a nice stay with peace and quiet, this probably isn't the hotel for you and I don't recommend booking.
Zsofia
Good hotel for the price, good staff, good breakfast, very clean, great for a family of 5 (had the 2 bedroom with the kitchen). Pool is on the small side if you want to use it to entertain the kids, but has a little putting green which could be fun. Sadly no hot tub, but would stay here again for sure
Riley
Breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. We could not hear the highway. Will be coming here again in the future!

Breakfast was simple, but it would be even better with more options such as fresh fruits, yogurt, juice, or a few hot items to make it more complete and enjoyable.

I had an ok stay at Homewood Suite Hilton..Staff was very accommodating and helpful …Breakfast was good for what they provided ….Room was clean, every thing was good but the only minor thing could not sleep well because of the noisy vents, air condition or heater…when it comes on it was very loud preventing me from sleeping! But in all everything else was ok
Bibin
Stay was great with good breakfast options..
Eduardo
Everything at the hotel was great. Thank you.

This property was perfect for our stay. The suites were very comfortable and welcoming. We loved that the tv welcomed us into the room and the staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay at another Homewood Suites by Hilton.

The hotel breakfast choices was really good

Stayed here with my dog and was disappointed. The pet fee ($75 + tax/night) is quite high, yet no amenities (no bed, no bowl ) were provided for the dog at all.
Also, the USB-C chargers on both sides of the bed were not working. We were told no maintenance was available and were given a used adapter, which wasn’t practical for multiple devices.
On the positive side, the room is spacious and the breakfast is good.
Overall, not great value for a pet-friendly stay.

Everything was excellent with our stay our only complaint was the noise level in our particular suite. Right beside the staff room and stairway door, combined with a very large wide open accessible room made every walkie talkie conversation outside our door echo throughout.
Otherwise breakfasts were excellent and well stocked, facility was clean and stafff was welcoming.

Jolene
Overall amazing stay for our family of 4. We would definitely book back here again!

Good location easy access to other areas of Markham. Hotel was not that clean, we found crumbs and cookie stains on the mattress topper on the sofa bed once we rolled it out. We requested new mattress topper and it was awkward, the guy didn’t take the dirty one away until we insisted he take it. They always only provided 3 towels even when we booked for 4 people. We requested additional and it never came. Pool water seems dirty, it’s not clear.

Our family stays in a small suite with a kitchen. All the amenities were there but we didnt eat there. Breakfast was the best we have. A lot of choice. The rooms are big and the bathroom was clean. Everything was renovated which is a big plus. The only thing was sofa bed that is uncomfortable. Mattress was not firm.

Roberta
Such a great stay! Everything was super comfortable and spotless. Loved having the kitchenette, and the pool + breakfast were both a big win. Staff were amazing too friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely come back.

This property should be 5 stars. It has all the basic things needed. I stayed here for a few days with my husband and had a great experience. We often choose this hotel chain when traveling in the U.S., and it consistently delivers excellent service—this location was no exception. Although we were hoping to stay closer to Toronto, the slightly farther distance turned out to be a good choice. The hotel is in a convenient area with plenty of nearby food options, and there’s even a Costco right next door, which is especially helpful for those traveling in larger groups. It’s a great spot if you prefer to be away from the busy city atmosphere. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. The staff were professional, welcoming, and friendly throughout our stay. Both the grounds and our room were very clean and well stocked. Breakfast was also enjoyable, and the staff did an excellent job keeping everything replenished. If you’re driving, Toronto is about a 45-minute trip. Parking in the city was more affordable than we expected—some garages charge around $15 for the day. Using a parking app in advance can help you find even better deals. We chose to drive partway, park, and take the metro the rest of the way, which worked out well.Overall, we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you to everyone who made it so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Courtney
We had a wonderful stay! Although a bit off the beaten path this hotel was still close to major amenities. It was quiet, clean and provided a great stay. Staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast offerings were great, although a tad on the cold side. All and all, a wonderful place to stay and we would return!

Conveniently located hotel for families. Kitchenette is a life-saver when travelling with young children. Breakfast was excellent. Indoor pool was heated and comfortable. All in all, an excellent experience.

Enjoyed our stay. Will return. If I could suggest one thing. Better beds and pillows. Slept fine, but could be updated.
