We were only here for a night as a quick stop so expectations were low for what we needed. We arrived to find the place completely under construction which we weren’t made aware of when booking. We were told at check-in that the construction is from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Check-in and out was easy.
We were woken up just after 7 from the construction in the morning and the rooms themselves are not quiet. You can hear everything in the hallways and neighbouring rooms.
One of the beds had someone else’s fake eyelashes in it so they don’t change the bedding between occupants and there are quite a few stains.
When we mentioned that it was quite loud and the eyelashes at checkout, they guy said “okay” and took our keys and that was it.
Side note: the breakfast at the hotel restaurant is not edible and we all go sick from it and hour later.

Average budget hotel. Everything was clean, just an older property undergoing current repairs. Great for a place to rest after traveling all day.
Beverly
We stayed 4 nights and the first 3 were great but the final night, the room was not cleaned.
Xiao Bing
Quiet and convenient.
Jeremy
Clean room, comfortable, good A/C, quiet, no weird smells, nearby many things/everything. Breakfast place is great.
Garry Glenn
Average hotel. Lack of car parking though during my stay
Danielle

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The property seems a little dated. The bed is too soft for me. The parking lot line is not clear.

Terrible experience. The towels in the room were old, grey, and clearly had not been replaced properly. Management and customer service were unresponsive to our complaints. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually cares about its guests.
Jack
The property is going through renovations which I was not aware of at time of booking. Hallway carpets were horrific. Elevator broke down. I would wait for renovations to be completed. For $20 more hours can go to fully functioning hotel.
David
Good budget hotel. They didn’t have enough towels I had to phone a few times. Good if you are on a budget. Staff were helpful!

Unfortunately, we were very unhappy with the rooms that we were given. The first room we got had no cold water(water was way too hot for my skin), however thanks to the manager we were able to move rooms which we really appreciated and the handyman that has tried to help us with the issue. However in the second room, the AC was not working, and we did not receive room service that day and we needed to call the manager ourselves(thank you to them).

It was quiet

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were clean. Was an amazing stay. The only thing I would say is unfortunate is the hot tub was not very clean but the pool was amazing. We loved our stay

Brutal cleaning. Garbage in room and after clean up
Denis
The carpet was terrible and the smell smells like pet size and there’s a cockroach on the carpet inside the room
Cathy
Peiple were friendly and welcoming. It was a reasonable hotel price wise at 210 per nt. Sheets smelled fresh. Carpet in room however was very tired and wallpaper was peeling. The sauna was not working and the pool needs a bit of work. Water was a bit cloudy. Looks like some holes were repaired but needs paint.
Hot tub also looks tired but it was working. Only 2 small towels at the pool.

Nice and clean

Excellent stay - it looks like they are painting the outside of the building. Staff was very attentive.
And I have to say - I do appreciate the fact that you didn’t need a ladder to get into bed! Perfect high for sitting and getting dressed.

James
Great stay, great food, great people
Dale
Room was clean, bathroom was clean as well.
However, the sauna was out of service and the hot tub water wasn't hot enough.
Overall, decent place for a night or two but the amenities were a disappointment.

Older facilities. Clean room. Clean bathroom

The staff were excellent I have no complaints there. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The walls however are paper thin and I might as well have been in the room with my neighbours as the spoke on the phone on speaker or too each other from 5:30-7:30 am on a Sunday morning. The room I had was ground floor facing the parking lot where a couple was having a domestic argument at 1 am. I will not stay there again because of the lack of sound proofing between rooms.
Susana Ofori
Comfortable stay. Nice staff
Renata
The price was good the bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean

We slept well but it needs a major Reno. Dead spider, black mold, rotten wood and broken toilet. Very disappointing.
Rachel
Sauna is permanently closed.

Good value for the cost

Didn't get my 100$ back from the hotel deposit. It's too late now, but its better to say it now than never.
steve
The outside of the building was half painted and every hallway had a different and aweful smell. There were extra doors that didn't need to be in hallways making it harder to carry luggage while opening doors.
annmarie
you can smell a musty chlorine as soon as walk in the door , stairs going down to pool have a wet paint sign for 3 weeks but it had not been painted it was completely rust chairs around pool have rusty legs to the point the wabble on 3 legs, carpets are old and stained ,laundry room has 1 washer 1 dryer and no where to sit, water cooler in gym has warm water,
Sabrina Wallace
Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice place.

I would not recommend this place for over one night. It's badly maintained and the room is dated.
Needs a revamp as soon as possible. Not worth the price.

STAINED CARPETS IN HALLS AND BEDROOM. BATHROOM DIRTY. PULL OUT COUCH FULL OF CRUMS.
Raymond
I arrived late in the evening, so was not able to really see the entire grounds. However the room was very clean and staff very friendly.
Claudia
The staff was great very accommodating if you needed something. Unfortunately the beds were uncomfortable and the towels were dingy and dirty, so were the carpets. Change the towels and dirty carpets , maybe some comfy beds and it's now a 4 star hotel

Excellent

The customer service is great and the staff was very helpful with and efficient with my check and check out. However, the hotel is very run down. The hallway to the room looked like something from a horror movie with stains everywhere, and then when you get into the room your first impression is okay but after a closer look at everything you really start to notice stuff. Mold in the bathroom, the light fixtures are loose on the wall, the stains on the chair in the corner, the stains on the light fixture as well, and it was just hard to be comfortable in a room like that. The gym they have there is also very run down, one of their two treadmills was out of service and their cable machine was broken. And I didn't go in it but from the looks of the pool it looked pretty rough as well. Again, the staff was great but once the new hotel next to it is finished they should probably consider bulldozing that place.
Ryan
Room smelt really bad, stains on sheets, noisy
Joanna
Each hallway had its own unpleasant odor, although the rooms themselves were thankfully not too bad. The pool was in very poor condition, and the bathroom vanities showed significant water damage and rot. The online photos are extremely misleading and do not accurately reflect the property’s current state. Honestly, the experience was so disappointing that I felt they should have been paying me $300 per night to stay there.
Teresa
The corridor is smell, the carpet is dirty, the power cord is bad, so loose and bad. The price for this quality not worth. So disappointed 😞

Overall it is Ok . The room I got assigned is really quiet and peaceful . Sleep well for 2 days .
See-Mooi
Friendly staff; easy parking - just right in front of the building.
Keshia
I e stayed here a couple times for work trips into the city. And although I realize that one of its main features is the competitive price, the cleanliness and appeal seem to be deteriorating with each visit. I did not take outdoor renovations into my account as I understand that but the hallways were very dirty, doorknobs broken, and amenities not working.

We've been coming to thr Park Inn for years whenever we are in Markham for tournaments.
Our stays have always been excellent.
I will say, the place is starting to show signs of wear and tear though.
Towel racks were falling out of the walls, bed was starting to get lumpy and just generally needs some updating.
Still comfortable, cheap, and convenient. But if maintenance is not done more frequently, this will change

if you are assigned to room at level 1 and allergic to smell, you may need to ask for another room or don't go there. Very strong odor in the hallway and pretty dark too
SHINY
Very dirty hotel with the staff. Biggest mistake. Never going again to this hotel ever
Elaine
The carpet was old and tore , ceiling water stain and leaked . After told the staff. We moved to other room . Still too old ,need remodel .
Clara
Decent pricing to have a place to sleep!

We paid 200 CAD per night and were assigned a room on Level 1. This is the level where hotel employees store garbage and wash bedding. Because of this, the corridor smelled so bad that I had to hold my breath before getting into the room.
The beds were very dirty and the toilet was leaking, stains all over the carpet. I tried to use the iron, but when I turned on the steam setting, it spat out a brownish liquid. If administration can’t fix a visible iron issue, I don’t want to imagine how dirty the mattress is or if it has ever been cleaned.
I wanted to cancel the booking after seeing the state of the room and the hotel, but the administration refused. They wanted to charge me an 80 USD cancellation fee with zero refund . I would never stay in this filthy place again even I was offered to stay for free.

The hotel felt overpriced for what it offers. While it has some charm, the rooms and facilities are quite dated and could really use a refresh. Overall, it didn’t quite justify the high cost.
Charlie
I cannot recommend this property.
My major complaint is that management has let the overall quality of the hotel deteriorate to an unacceptable level.
Overall, the cleanliness of the hotel is poor.
Hallways are dirty and need vacuuming. New carpets are needed.
Also needs a serious paint job and/or replacement of wallpaper.

The room was in poor condition and quality. The service was okay. We had to leave the hotel early and change to different hotel for resident. Will not consider as an option in the future.

Not gonna lie, this “inn” completely deceived us. The lobby looks presentable, but once you get past that, the condition of the place is terrible.
First of all, it’s very obvious their PTAC units (the AC/heat systems in the rooms) have not been properly maintained or even had their filters cleaned. Our room smelled like dirty mop water — musty with a very strong odour. It was unbearable. The only way to make it tolerable was turning the system off completely at the thermostat. Even then, the entire room still had this lingering stench.
At night, because we couldn’t keep the air on, the room became incredibly hot and uncomfortable. We were constantly sweating. Ironically, they have air fresheners mounted throughout the hallways that are way too strong but smell decent. Unfortunately, air freshener only does so much when you can still smell the mustiness underneath it all.
On top of that, there were bleach stains all over the hallway floors. The shower had black mould in the grout, and the corners of the bathroom floor had literal piles of dirt shoved into them. Absolutely disgusting.
We had no choice but to complete our stay because we had already paid and were told the booking was “non-refundable.”
I definitely would NOT recommend this inn to anyone. Even though the place seemed fairly busy, that does not justify the condition it’s in. Like the saying goes: you pay for what you get.
